🖤 PLUTO ON ASCENDANT 🖤
Famous people with Pluto on Ascendant: Ukrainian president, Muammar al-Gaddafi, John Kennedy Jr., George Bush, Kurt Cobain, Stephen Fry, Steve Martin, Shannen Doherty, Benedict Cumberbatch, Nikola Tesla
Pluto on Ascendant facts: a well-known celebrity, everyone wants to meet them, they get paid huge money for working in the entertainment. Often they work in television because that's where they can get the most recognition. They care more about their reputation than people they stepped over to achieve their level of reputation. They never realise the value of their loved ones until they exchange them for money and fame. They feel a lot of sorrow because many people don't understand what comes with their fame. They put themselves in danger to save their reputation. Their family is often distant from them. They get death threats and have to become famous to get security. They don't let random people know about their secrets and personal life. They're very independent and rely only on themselves. They lack understanding and compassion from other people. They see lots of mass suffering in their life since Pluto is a Greek god of the underworld where souls are stored after the deaths. They often feel unworthy of the love they receive from public because they know the price of their popularity. They're very giving, religious and loyal to their family. They pray to God to forgive them for all their sins. They often get addictions when they're overwhelmed with the suffering of other people. They're very patriotic and fair. They want the best for their people. They eat a lot cause Pluto's animal is panda in my observation 🐼 Pluto is hungry for souls and 🐼 is hungry for bamboo

Garnett's per minute offensive production has held steady over the last four seasons. His defense, once the NBA's best, now merely places him in the discussion for the NBA's best. He doesn't rely on slapping the top of the backboard or throwing down huge dunks, he's smarter than all of us and he gets away with more in a first quarter with the referees than some centers do in a career. Bahama Cruise 2022, Part 15 April 13. Little Farmers Cay, Black Point Regatta.

Sunrise over Great Guana Cay. We will pick up anchor to move slightly south to Little Farmers Cay.

This is the cinnamon raison bread Nancy made yesterday. Quick breakfast of this and we are off.

Nancy does it all, cooks, bakes and pulls anchor. I love my super heavy Mantus anchor and 5/16” chain, not sure Nancy does. We head down towards Little Farmers. Holding is nil due to scouring of the sandy bottom with the strong currents. So we pretty much end up anchoring back where we knew the holding was good. Sorry for all the anchor pulling today Nancy!

We dinghied down to the Government dock at Little Farmers Cay. This is a really neat Island with a unique story. You can look it up on Wikipedia, but a former slave woman acquired the island and was smart enough to will it to her dependents in perpetuity. So everyone is related but they own the land and do not have to worry about being bought out by foreigners. Which sounds good at first but they land ends up being worth even more in the future.

Nancy making friends with tomorrows dinner.

Nancy can not sit still so while we were waiting on our burgers to come out. She help Terry Bains, the owner, wrap plasticware into the napkins. Terry knows more about US politics than 95% of Americans. Sharp guy, worked in Libya while Muammar Gaddafi was president. He is an avowed muslim but you would never know it. He is the most prominent man on the island.

The flag of Little Farmers Cay flys in front of Ocean House.

This is JR the wood carvers shop on the island. We ended up buying a carved owl. He gave us a tour of his yard and all of the plants.

Nancy relaxing on the bow in her bean bag chair reading. And as Dinghy Commander.

Next morning we retraced our course back to Black Point Settlement. The Regatta is about to happen. Each island has races to pick who will attend the bigger regattas. If you can’t tell from the photo above, Black Point Boats are normally painted red.

Each boat took on one crewman from the many cruisers in the harbor. Nancy got to crew on a Class C class boat called “Chaser”, number “12”. Capt. Morris “The Great One” Rolle was the builder and Captain. He was old enough that he actually worked the bigger Bahamian sloops sailing for a week at a time, fishing and conching. No engine, 3-5 guys sleeping on deck. Tough people making a living the tough way.
On the boat were his sons, Brad and “Rambo”. Rambo was one of the smaller guys on the island how he got that name we do not know.

These boats are way over canvased they are very unique n that the crew hikes out on two long boards to windward. The Captain is basically blind with the sail to leeward. So one crew member kind of points the way around obstacles like sailboats anchored all over the race course. When there is a tack, crew members crawl in off the boards, pull the boards in, watch out for the boom swinging low overhead. Then rapidly move the boards over to the other side and hike out on the boards as quick as they can.
To make this even more interesting. All of the talk, commands, chiding, and cussing is done in local Island speak. So the poor cruiser, such as Nancy, are totally lost. When they really want you to do something or understand what they are saying. The islanders come out of their Island accent and talk to you in an almost understandable English.

On “Lady Eunice” (#03), the cruiser is George from, here he is in his “hero shot” first on the left hiked out in the lap of the rest of the crew like the “old salt” that he is. What a natural!

It is a “La Mans Start”. Each boat is lined up with a claw anchor set, and sails dropped. When the horn blows, they pull anchor and raise the sails to race a triangle course through the anchorage and along the shore. Above is Nancy’s boat #12.

This is “Lady Eunice” just after the start. I had already picked up George and delivered him back to his boat. Glad I got the “hero shot” early. Then I returned to help the guys remove all of the ballast, so they could tow this boat home. There is no such thing as a PFD life vest on these boats. Better know how to tread water.
End of the first day of the race at Black Point.

Clown Boris Johnson News: Putin Should Be Tried Not Assassinated, PM Says!
Follows Remark Made by “US Senator, “The Scrotums Licker of the God’s Fucked-up People, The Zionist C****,” Lindsey Graham” About Russian President’s Fate
— The Independent | Sam Hancock and Shweta Sharma | Friday March 04, 2022

Clown Bojo (L) and The scrotums licker of the Zionist C**** Lindsey Graham (R)
Boris Johnson does not agree with a US Senator that Vladimir Putin should be assassinated – instead, the PM believes the Russian president should be tried in front of an international court, No 10 has said.
It follows a remark made by Lindsey Graham, of South Carolina, who has called for “somebody in Russia” to assassinate Putin in order to bring the invasion of Ukraine to an end.
“The Question is When War Criminals Bush Sr., Bush Jr., Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Ashcroft, George Tenet, Collin Powell, Hillary Clinton, Rumsfeld, Biden, Obama and British Bloody Bastard Blair will face the justice for the crimes they have committed in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan.”
But, a spokesperson for Mr Johnson said on Friday the PM thinks Putin and his associates should go before a court for the war crimes they have ordered in Ukraine - which could be possible if the current International Criminal Court (ICC) investigation finds Russia guilty.
The comments came after foreign secretary Liz Truss insisted the government is doing “all we can to support the Ukrainians” and, when pushed on sanctions, that the UK has put in place more measures on companies than any of “our counterparts across the world”. She added the current sanctions were having a “big effect in Russia.
Kremlin Reacts To US senator’s Call To Assassinate Putin
Not everyone is able to remain cool-headed in a tense situation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said

“US Senator, The Scrotums Lickers of The God’s Fucked-up People, Zionist C****, Lindsey Graham” has been driven crazy by the ongoing tensions between Moscow and the West, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov implied, following calls from the politician for the assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Not everyone can remain cool-headed these days, some [people] lose their senses,” Peskov told a press conference, commenting on Graham’s statements made on Thursday during an appearance on Fox News. Graham suggested during the show that “somebody in Russia” should kill Putin.
Peskov pointed to the “H ysterical Stirring-up” of anti-Russian sentiment in the US, calling it a “Russophobic Meltdown” of sorts. Earlier on Friday, Russia’s ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, called the senator’s comments “unacceptable and outrageous.” Moscow has also demanded an official explanation from the US over what it called de-facto advocating an act of terrorism.
On Thursday, Braindead Graham claimed “the only way” to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has sparked widespread condemnation among western nations and seen unprecedented sanctions being imposed against Russia, was to kill Putin. He also wondered aloud if Russia has its own “Brutus” or “a more successful Colonel Stauffenberg” ready to do the world “a great service.”
The US has previously made attempts on the lives of foreign leaders. Cuba’s revolutionary leader Fidel Castro was targeted in numerous plots orchestrated by the CIA, as revealed by the Church Committee in the 1970s. The US military has not shied away from openly hunting foreign leaders in more recent times, as was the case with Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi, who was the target of NATO (North Atlantic Terrorist Organization) airstrikes in 2011.
Moscow maintains its military offensive in Ukraine is a “special operation” aimed at the “demilitarization” and “denazification” of the nation in the name of protecting the people of the two Donbass republics Russia has recently recognized.

Hakeem Jeffries

Hakeem Sekou Jeffries (born August 4, 1970) is a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, representing New York's 8th congressional district in Brooklyn and Queens. Prior to taking office in 2013, he was a corporate lawyer for Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, then Viacom and CBS, before running for and serving in the New York State Assembly from 2007 to 2012, representing the 57th Assembly district.
Early life and education
Jeffries grew up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and received his bachelor's in political science from Binghamton University with honors. He graduated from New York University School of Law and obtained a master's degree in public policy from Georgetown University.
Law career
He served as a clerk for Judge Harold Baer, Jr., then worked in the litigation department of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison before becoming assistant litigator for Viacom and CBS.
New York Assembly
Elections
In 2000, he challenged incumbent Democratic Assemblyman Roger Green in the primary, losing 59 percent to 41 percent. In the general election, Jeffries ran on the Independence Party line, and Green defeated him again, this time 90 percent to his 7 percent.
Two years later, after redistricting, his residence was put out of the 57th Assembly District. Jeffries claimed in the 2010 documentary film Gerrymandering that it was a retaliatory move (a charge denied by Green). He challenged Green again in the Democratic primary and lost again, by 24 points.
In 2006 Green decided to retire from the Assembly in order to run for New York's 10th congressional district against incumbent Democrat U.S. Congressman Ed Towns. Jeffries ran for the 57th district again and won the Democratic primary, defeating Bill Batson and Freddie Hamilton 64 percent to 25 percent and 11 percent. In the general election, he handily defeated Republican nominee Henry Weinstein.
Two years later, in 2008, he won re-election to a second term, defeating the Republican candidate Charles Brickhouse, with 98 percent of the vote. In 2010 he won re-election to a third term, easily defeating the Republican candidate Frank Voyticky.
Tenure
During his six years in the state legislature he introduced over 70 bills. In response to a series of toy recalls, he introduced bill A02589, which would penalize retailers and wholesalers who knowingly sell to the public hazardous or dangerous toys that have been the subject of a recall. In 2010, the Stop-and-Frisk database bill was signed into law by Governor Paterson that banned police from compiling names and addresses of those stopped but are not arrested during street searches.
He also wrote and sponsored the hotly contested house bill A. 11177-A (now law) that eliminated the stop-and-frisk database used by police forces in New York City. He sponsored and passed house bill A.9834-A (now law) the Inmate-base gerrymandering law that ended counting prison populations of upstate districts as part of the public population, becoming the second state to end this practice.

Elections
Jeffries announced he would give up his Assembly seat to run in New York's 8th congressional district in January 2012. The district, which includes the Brooklyn communities of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, East New York, Canarsie, Mill Basin and Coney Island along with South Ozone Park and Howard Beach in the borough of Queens, had previously been the 10th, represented by 30-year incumbent Democrat Edolphus Towns. On the steps of Brooklyn’s Borough Hall, Jeffries said: “Washington is broken. Congress is dysfunctional. People are suffering. We deserve more."
Jeffries expected to give Towns a strong challenge in the Democratic primary—the real contest in this heavily Democratic, black-majority district. However, with Jeffries assembling "a broad coalition of support” and having more cash than the incumbent, Towns announced his retirement on April 16, leaving Jeffries to face city councilman Charles Barron in the Democratic primary.
Touted as the "Barack Obama of Brooklyn” during his run for the congressional seat, Jeffries has said he doesn’t see the Obama comparison. “Other than the fact that we were both born on August 4, it’s not clear to me that there’s much of a professional resemblance,”
On June 11, 2012, former Mayor Ed Koch, Congressman Jerrold Nadler, Councilman David Greenfield, and Assemblyman Dov Hikind gathered with several other elected officials to support Jeffries and denounce Barron. The officials described Barron as anti-Semitic and denounced his allegedly anti-Semitic statements, while also denouncing his support of Zimbabwe ruler Robert Mugabe and former Libya ruler Muammar Gaddafi. Barron responded that such attacks were a distraction from bread and butter issues.
Green Party candidate Colin Beavan called on Jeffries to "get the money out of politics", noting that as of his March 2012 filing, "he had received about $180,000, or 35 percent of his funds, from Wall Street bankers and their lawyers". Beaven added that Jeffries gets many campaign donations from charter school backers and hedge fund managers. After primary night, when asked about his two most important concerns, Jeffries replied eliminating the "crushing burden" of private religious school education costs.
After out-raising him by hundreds of thousands of dollars, Jeffries defeated Barron in the primary election on June 26, 2012, 72 to 28 percent. A New York Daily News post-election editorial noted that Barron had been “repudiated” in all parts of the Congressional district, including among neighbors on Barron’s own block in East New York, where the Councilman lost 57-50. The Daily News also analyzed Jeffries' donations in the last weeks of the campaign and found almost 50 percent came from out of state. He went on to defeat Beavan and Republican Alan Bellone in the November general election with 71 percent of the vote, but not before declining to attend a pre-primary debate with third party candidates, saying that the presence of the Green Party and Republican candidates at the debate would "confuse" voters.
On January 3, 2013, Jeffries was sworn into the 113th Congress.
Among the innovative practices Jeffries has carried over to Congress from his service in the State Assembly are: Operation Preserve, a legal housing clinic for displaced residents in the community; Summer at the Subway, now known as “Congress on Your Corner,”; outdoor evening office hours from June through August near subway stations that allows him to connect and hear constituents’ concerns first- hand; and his annual “State of the District” address, a community event in January that reviews important milestones achieved in the past year and previews the Congressman’s goals for the year ahead.
Positions
Since fall 2006 he has been a cautious supporter of Bruce Ratner's controversial Atlantic Yards project.
He has opposed the Keystone XL pipeline, but also voted against an amendment that would have restrict sales of oil transported on the pipeline to within the United States.
He is pro-Israel, saying at a rally in July 2014 "Israel should not be made to apologize for its strength.” Citing his own childhood growing up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, Jeffries added that he knew from experience that “the only thing that neighbors respect in a tough neighborhood is strength."
Since taking federal office, Jeffries has been called “a rising star,” appointed to the House Judiciary Committee Task Force on Over Criminalization as well as appointed the Congressional Black Caucus Whip. He also plays in the infield on the Congressional Baseball Team.
As a member of Congress, he has called for a federal investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice into the circumstances surrounding the death of Eric Garner. On a visit to the Staten Island site where Garner was killed, recorded by a CNN news crew in December 2014, Jeffries encountered Gwen Carr, the victim’s mother. In April 2015, Jeffries stood with Carr to announce the introduction of the Excessive Use of Force Prevention Act of 2015 that would make the use of a chokehold illegal under federal law.
As the Congressmember with among the highest number of public housing residents, Jeffries has been attentive to their needs. He introduced P.J.’s Act in response to the death of 6 year old P.J. Avitto of East New York; who was stabbed in an elevator inside the Boulevard Houses, a NYCHA apartment complex. The legislation would increase federal funding for enhanced security in public housing developments.
Jeffries has also publicly called on the New York City Police Department Commissioner to reform its marijuana arrest policy after recent reports showed that small amount of marijuana arrests, which had increased dramatically under Mayor Michael Bloomberg Administration’s application of stop-and-frisk, were still rising in New York City under Bloomberg’s successor, Mayor Bill de Blasio. Jeffries has become a high-profile critic of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Commissioner William Bratton, questioning whether the reduction in stop-and-frisk has been a product of mayoral administration changes or the results of a movement that brought a successful federal lawsuit, and criticizing Eric Garner’s chokehold death.
In Congress, as the Congressional Black Caucus’ Whip, he has been actively involved in maintaining the CBC historic role as “the conscience of the Congress.” In his CBC role, he has hosted Special Orders on the House floor, including regarding voting rights (after the Supreme Court decision weakening the 1965 Voting Rights Act) and in December 2014, leading CBC members in a “hands up, don’t shoot” protest to protest the killings of African-Americans by police. After the shootings in Charleston in June 2015 by a white supremacist inspired by the Confederate flag, Jeffries led the effort to have the flag removed for sale or display on National Park Service land, an amendment eventually killed by the Republican House leadership after its initial support and inclusion on voice vote. During dramatic debate on the House floor, Jeffries stood next to the Confederate battle flag, and noted he “got chills” and lamented that the “Ghosts of the Confederacy have invaded the GOP.”
With a high concentration of public housing and high unemployment in his district, Jeffries has also made an issue of HUD’s failure to adequately enforce Section 3 of its initial creating statute from 1968, which explicitly required that federally funded capital and rehabilitation projects in public housing developments had to employ residents of those developments. As Jeffries noted, “we can download the power of the federal government into neighborhoods that are struggling the most, without legislative action. The most promising area is Section 3.”
Bills
In addition to legislation mentioned above, on April 11, 2013, Jeffries introduced the Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument Preservation Act (H.R. 1501; 113th Congress) into the United States House of Representatives. Jeffries's proposed bill would direct the Secretary of the Interior to study the suitability and feasibility of designating the Prison Ship Martyrs' Monument in Fort Greene Park in the New York City borough of Brooklyn as a unit of the National Park System (NPS). Jeffries said that "as one of America's largest revolutionary war burial sites and in tribute to the patriots that lost their lives fighting for our nation's independence, this monument deserves to be considered as a unit of the National Park Service." On April 28, 2014, the Prison Ship Martyrs’s Monument Preservation Act was passed by the House.
On July 15, 2014, Jeffries, who in private practice addressed intellectual property issues, introduced the To establish the Law School Clinic Certification Program of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (H.R. 5108; 113th Congress), which would establish the Law School Clinic Certification Program of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to be available to accredited law schools for the ten-year period after enactment of the Act.
In 2015, Jeffries led the effort in Congress to pass The Slain Officer Family Support Act, which extended the tax deadline for individuals making donations to organizations supporting the families of assassinated NYPD Detectives Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. The families of the officers, who had been assassinated in their patrol car on December 20, 2014 in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Jeffries' district, had been the recipients of significant charitable fundraising. Prior to the enactment of the new law, individuals would have had to make those contributions by December 31, 2014 to qualify for a tax deduction in connection with taxes filed in 2015. With the legal change, contributions made until April 15, 2015 were deductible. President Obama signed the bill into law on April 1, 2015.

Endorsements
During 2007, while still in his first term in the State Assembly, Jeffries publicly endorsed and supported Barack Obama, and was among Obama’s earliest supporters in Hillary Clinton’s home state. In one interview, he noted “"When I first ran for office, some people suggested that someone with the name "Hakeem Jeffries" could never get elected and when I saw someone with the name "Barack Obama" get elected to the U.S. Senate, it certainly inspired me."
While President Barack Obama did not openly support candidates in Democratic primaries, he and President Bill Clinton together took a photograph with Jeffries weeks before his 2012 Congressional primary against Councilman Charles Barron, which was effectively used in campaign literature.
In a 2012 special election, Jeffries endorsed Walter T. Mosley, who was successful in a special election run to succeed Jeffries in State Assembly.
The following year, Jeffries backed Laurie Cumbo in the hotly contested race for Brooklyn's 35th city council seat vacated by Tish James, who won the City-wide race for Public Advocate, also with a Jeffries endorsement.
In 2013, Jeffries endorsed in the race for Brooklyn District Attorney, the seat held since 1990 by Charles‘ “Joe” Hynes, whose office was facing deep criticism for wrongful convictions and botched prosecutions. He endorsed Kenneth Thompson, whom Jeffries had met while interning at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District in the 1990s, when Thompson was a prosecutor.
According to journalists, the Jeffries endorsement of Thompson’s campaign was critical, and was followed by endorsements of Thompson by Brooklyn’s three other Democratic members of Congress. Thompson won the Democratic primary and defeated Hynes again in the general election when the DA elected to run as a Republican in the majority Democratic borough.
In the 2013 NYC mayoral race, Jeffries endorsed City Comptroller Bill Thompson, hailing his experience in City government. Jeffies also noted he was offended by Bill de Blasio's ad featuring stop and frisk claiming himself as the only candidate who would address, modify or reform stop and frisk:
"In some ways, I'm offended by the notion that one individual, in a city of eight million people, after years and years and years of many of us, in the state legislature and the City Council, activists, marches that took place, including one on Father's Day, to get us to a point where all of the major mayoral candidates have said stop and frisk will be significantly reformed on their watch."
His support of Thompson over de Blasio came in spite of Jeffries' own support of two policing bills, for independent inspector general for the police department and to allow for bias suits in state court, which de Blasio backed but Thompson did not. Jeffries said it made sense for Thompson, because he was running to be the city's top executive, not to support them.
In 2014, he supported Rubain Dorancy as Democratic candidate for state senate, who lost to Jesse Hamilton by a wide margin.
In that state senate race, as in several others since 2012, Jeffries has endorsed opponents of candidates endorsed by current Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, which has created the perception of a rivalry between the two prominent elected officials, Both Jeffries and Adams have dismissed these perceptions, noting their shared history (they had together served as prime co-sponsors of the 2010 stop-frisk database bill in the state legislature) with Jeffries adding.: “Over the years, we’ve often disagreed about the best candidate for our community. But when the election is over, we should all work together to get things done.”
In 2015, calls were been made among prominent African-American pastors for Jeffries to step into the 2017 Democratic primary for Mayor against Bill de Blasio. Jeffries has stated that he has “no interest” and wishes to remain an effective member of Congress.
Personal life and family
He is married to Kennisandra Arciniegas-Jeffries, a social worker with 1199 SEIU's Benefit Fund. They have two boys, Jeremiah (born 2001) and Joshua (born 2004) and live in Prospect Heights. Jeffries is also the nephew of CUNY professor Leonard Jeffries, Jr.
Jeffries’ younger brother, Hasan Kwame Jeffries, is an associate professor of history at The Ohio State University in Columbus. He is the author of Bloody Lowndes: Civil Rights and Black Power in Alabama’s Black Belt.

Khalid Abdul Muhammad was an African-American activist, a one-time member of the Nation of Islam and national chairman of the New Black Panther Party. Muhammad was born Harold Moore Jr. on January 12, 1948, to Harold Moore Sr and Lottie B. Moore in Houston, Texas. Moore’s Aunt, Carrie Moore Vann, raised him while living in Houston where he attended Phyllis Wheatley High School.
After graduating from high school in 1966, Moore enrolled in Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana to pursue a theological studies degree but he didn’t graduate. While attaining Dillard University in 1970, Moore heard a speech by Louis Abdul Farrakhan who was at the time national representative of Elijah Muhammad, the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI). After hearing Farrakhan’s speech, Moore joined the Nation of Islam and changed his name to Harold X then to Malik Rushaddin. He eventually became Farrakhan’s protégé helping to bring new recruits to the Nation.
Muhammad later received a BA degree from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, California. In 1978, he was appointed Western Regional Minister of the NOI and leader of Mosque #27 in Los Angeles. In 1983, Farrakhan changed his name to Khalid, after the Islamic general, Khalid Ibn al-Walid. In 1985 at the age of 37, Khalid Muhammad was appointed National spokesman and Representative of Minister Farrakhan. In this role he traveled to NOI mosques throughout the United States and eventually made a trip to Libya and meet its leader, Muammar al-Gaddafi. In 1987, however, a federal court in Atlanta, Georgia convicted Muhammad of mortgage fraud and he was sentenced to nine months in prison. After his released, he became Minister Farrakhan’s national advisor in the NOI.
During his time with the Nation of Islam, Muhammad gave controversial speeches which usually attacked whites and especially Jews and homosexuals while calling for black self-empowerment and separation. Despite the controversy, Muhammad remained popular with youth in the African American community and often appeared in hip-hop songs by Public Enemy and Ice Cube. In 1993, during a speaking engagement at Kean College in New Jersey, Muhammad called Jews bloodsuckers and used a racially derogatory word to describe Pope John Paul II. In response, the United States Senate took the unusual step of voting 97-0 to censure him for making the speech. He was also silenced by the Nation of Islam as a minister, a move which prompted him to leave the organization in 1993.
Muhammad would continue to make public speeches at universities and once in 1994 appeared on The Phil Donahue Show. On May 29, 1994, former Nation of Islam member James Bess attempted to assassinate Muhammad. He was shot by Bess after making a speech at the University of California, Riverside but survived the attack.
In 1998, Muhammad became the national chairman of the New Black Panther Party, a black nationalist organization which modeled itself on the original Black Panther Party founded in Oakland in 1966. During his time with the New Black Panther Party, Muhammad organized the Million Youth March in New York City and led a march in Jasper, Texas protesting the murder of James Byrd by white supremacists. Muhammad remained national chairman of the New Black Panther Party until his death from a brain aneurysm on February 17, 2001. He died in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 53. He was buried in Ferncliff Cemetery in Westchester County, New York near the grave of Malcolm X.

Profile: Who is US President-elect Joe Biden?
#PHnews: Profile: Who is US President-elect Joe Biden?
ANKARA – After serving eight years as vice president under Barack Obama, next January 20 Joseph R. Biden Jr. is set to return to the White House, but this time to serve in his boss’ old job, as the US’ 46th president
The victory of Joe Biden, 77, over incumbent Donald Trump makes him first former vice president to win the Oval Office since George H. W. Bush, who won in 1988 after eight years under Ronald Reagan.
Unlike Bush, however, Biden spent four years outside of government office before winning the White House.
Bush lost his reelection bid four years later, making him a one-term president, and Biden himself has indicated he may voluntarily serve just a single term, describing himself as a "transition candidate."
Biden is also the oldest person in American history to lay claim to the mantle of president-elect, as he will turn 78 on November 20, two months to the day before his January 20 inauguration.
The oldest president to date was the late Reagan, who was 77 when he left office in 1989.
Biden's eight years as “veep” was highlighted by Obama awarding him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, one of the two highest civilian awards in the US, in the final days of the administration.
At a Jan. 12, 2017 White House ceremony, Obama hailed Biden as "the best vice president America's ever had" and a "lion of American history."
"To know Joe Biden is to know love without pretense, service without self-regard, and to live life fully," he said.
Biden was Obama's point man in Ukraine in the face of Russia's illegal 2014 annexation of the Crimean Peninsula and support for separatist rebels in the east. Biden sought to improve bilateral relations and help Kiev root out corruption.
Reelected to Senate six times
Biden was born in 1942 in the blue-collar city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, but was largely raised in the state of Delaware, where he attended university before earning his law degree in 1968 from New York’s Syracuse University.
In an incident which left deep scars, on Dec. 18, 1972, Biden's first wife, Neilia, and the couple’s one-year-old daughter Amy were killed in a car accident in Delaware, while his sons Beau and Hunter both suffered injuries.
More than a month earlier, on November 7, he had been elected to become the sixth-youngest senator in US history, and went on to serve 36 years in the chamber, including being a longtime member of its powerful Foreign Relations Committee, eventually becoming its chairman in 2001.
In another key post, he was also chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee from 1987 to 1995.
Biden won reelection to the Senate six times before becoming vice president in 2009.
His triumphant campaign with Obama followed two unsuccessful runs for the Democratic presidential nomination, in 1988 and 2008.
As part of Obama’s team, Biden was responsible for overseeing infrastructure spending to jump-start the economy after the 2007 financial crisis, and also led negotiations with congressional Republicans that produced the 2010 Tax Relief Act.
On the military front, he helped pass the new START Treaty between the US and Russia, supported NATO-led efforts to depose Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi, as aided with the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq in 2011.
Iran nuclear deal
During Biden's tenure as vice president, the US along with several key negotiating partners sought to establish curbs on Iran’s nuclear program, as well as an unprecedented inspections regime to ensure the country's compliance with a prospective accord.
Negotiations lasted until July 2015, when a final agreement was made to limit and monitor Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for relief from harsh international sanctions.
The deal was one of the most prominent foreign policy achievements of the Obama administration until President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew the US from the deal in May 2018.
As incoming president, Biden said he wants to return the US to compliance with the agreement. But that depends on not only what Iran will seek in return after Trump unilaterally imposed sanctions that have sent Iran's economy into a nosedive, but also on Israel, which has long criticized the deal while praising Trump's efforts.
Ukraine
When Ukraine’s then-President Petro Poroshenko took office in June 2014, Obama made Biden his point man to help improve relations between the two countries and help Kiev fight domestic corruption.
Years later, in 2019, however, the activities of Biden and his son, Hunter, made headlines as Republicans spread unsubstantiated conspiracy theories, partially in an effort to blunt Democratic efforts to impeach President Trump.
In a July 25, 2019 telephone call that figured in the impeachment drive, Trump pressed Poroshenko’s successor Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden and his son, saying that their activities in Ukraine sound "horrible to me."
The younger Biden, who is now 50, had joined the Board of Directors of Ukraine's largest private natural gas producer Burisma Holdings, in May 2014 -- almost one month before Poroshenko took office -- according to a press release by the company.
He reportedly received a salary of USD50,000 a month until stepping down from the board in April 2019.
Allegations of withholding loan
Trump argued that the elder Biden had improperly used his influence during his time in the White House to oust Ukraine's top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, to help his son avoid corruption investigations in the country.
For weeks, thousands of Ukrainian protestors called for Shokin to resign for failing to fight corruption, but it was Biden's threat to withhold a USD1 billion loan from Ukraine if Shokin was not fired that led to his dismissal. Biden acknowledged the fact in 2018.
"I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from [then Prime Minister] Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t," Biden told the Council on Foreign Relations think-tank in January 2018.
"I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money," he said, according to a transcript posted on the group's website.
Critics claimed that it was a conflict of interest for Hunter Biden to work for a Ukrainian company while his father was actively working with that government; however, there has been no evidence of wrongdoing. (Anadolu)

Newcastle United's Saudi takeover: Is it sport-washing or a platform for change?
The Middle East has a chequered reputation when it comes to human rights.
Qatar may have won the rights to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but alongside the practical issues of hosting such a huge sports event in high temperatures, the welfare of immigrant workers has also made headlines.
Nearly 1500 Nepali workers alone are reported to have died in Qatar between 2009 and 2019 with FIFA admitting that there had been breaches in workers’ standards.
Saudi Arabia is another state which has been criticised.
Amnesty International has described the Saudi regime's human rights records as "heinous" and its international head of campaigns Felix Jakens told the BBC that Saudi Arabia’s poor reputation was well-deserved.
He said: “They've got an appalling record on LGBT rights, women's rights, extra-judicial killings, beheadings, the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year, and their involvement in the ongoing conflict in Yemen.”
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has overseen some sweeping changes in recent years, including allowing women to attend concerts and the cinema; lifting a travel ban for women alone; and letting women drive for the first time – the last country in the world to do so.
Some of the most notable changes relate to sport, with women permitted to attend sports events and young girls now allowed to participate in physical education in school.
It’s all part of a wider 'Vision 2030' strategy to diversify the economy and prompt social change and so it should come as no surprise that the state is now seen as a viable location for global sports events that capture the attention of the world.
The Saudi General Sports Authority says that hosting sports events is part of a plan to portray a new image of modernisation and that to boost tourism is “a journey of transformation.”
Rory McIlroy ruled out playing in a European Tour event in Saudi Arabia, citing “morality” as one of the reasons why he is turning down a huge appearance fee.
But last year’s world heavyweight title fight, which saw Anthony Joshua reclaim his belts in a rematch against Andy Ruiz Jr, was arguably one of the biggest sporting events of the year.
Promoter Eddie Hearn defended the decision to stage the fight in a state with a chequered reputation, arguing that the financial benefits were his priority, particularly in a sport that offers plenty of risk.
It’s happened before, of course.
The Rumble in the Jungle in Kinshasa, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo) in 1974 saw Muhammad Ali beat George Foreman in an event which was used as a platform to promote Zaire dictator Mobutu Sese Seko and was sponsored by Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.
After declaring martial law, Ferdinand Marcos used the “Thriller in Manilla” to promote Philippines as a 'great' nation which saw Ali face Joe Frazier.
Boxing is not the only sport staging events in Saudi Arabia, with WWE wrestling, the Dakar Rally, the Spanish Super Cup and Formula E all taking place in the state.
Recently revealed documents show that Saudi representatives have had meetings with Major League Soccer (MLS), Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Los Angeles Olympic Committee.
Sheffield United were bought by Saudi investors last year and now Newcastle are set to replace one troubled regime under Mike Ashley with another as the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) attempts to take ownership.
A recent poll by leading Newcastle fan blog The Mag saw over 97% saying that they would prefer the new Saudi owners to Ashley.
Perhaps rather more concerning was that a large portion of fans (58%) said they aren’t concerned about the background of the owners or what happens in Saudi Arabia. While many fans are delighted to see the back of Ashley and the prospect of competing for big-ticket players, the purchase has met with much concern.
Jakens added: "We need to see it for what it is: Saudi Arabia attempting to use the glamour and prestige of Premier League football as a PR tool to distract from the country's abysmal human rights record. There's a name for this - it's called 'sportswashing'.”
According to the Financial Times, the PIF has more than $300bn in assets, with this takeover likely to be just a drop in the ocean as part of a strategy to diversify its operations with foreign investment.
The question remains however, does the club know just who it’s getting involved with and will the takeover negatively impact the iconic Geordie town and its folk?
And beIN Sports, the Qatar-based broadcaster has said that Saudi Arabia should not be permitted to invest in a league after spending a considerable amount of time undermining it through a pirate broadcasting network, which threatens the Premier League’s intellectual property and income.
beIN chief executive Yousef al-Obaidly has written to the chairmen of Premier League clubs saying “the potential acquirer of Newcastle United [has] caused huge damage to your club’s and the Premier League’s commercial revenues.
“The legacy of the illegal service will continue to impact you going forward. Furthermore – given the crippling economic effect that coronavirus is having on the sports industry – this is all happening at a time when football clubs need to protect their broadcast revenue the most.”
Clive Betts, the chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Football, said Saudi Arabia's alleged role in pirate network beoutQ "should be an immediate priority for regulatory scrutiny surrounding the takeover.
“Why would you sign contracts and pay money if others just take it for free? It undermines the whole Premier League and it's like inviting a cuckoo into the nest.
“While the Premier League needs to seriously look at any potential conflict between the ownership of a football club and the alleged three-year theft of UK media rights by the future owner, the government should take a role, not sit on the bench.”
The Premier League’s Fit and Proper person rules are unlikely to prevent the takeover from going through and it has been reported that government trade deals with Saudi Arabia mean that they will also not intervene.
So it will be fascinating to see how the club addresses the ongoing human rights concerns their prospective new owners have overseen.
Nelson Mandela famously said that sport has the power to change the world but certainly that change cannot happen overnight.
Saudi Arabia has undoubtedly deserved its reputation as an ultra-conservative state but while there is much to do, sports events have the opportunity to accelerate that transformation.
What sports events, administrators and sponsors need to do is work with the local Saudi authorities to ensure that human rights issues continue to be addressed, rather than allowing the glamorous nature of sports events and ownership to gloss over endemic problems.
And the prospective new owners need to address the criticism head on, not with denials and a wave of the hand, but with serious and genuine intent to use this new platform as a further stepping stone to positive progress and improved human rights.
With the eyes of the world watching more carefully and sports journalists continuing to shine a spotlight on the region and hold it to account, rather than sportswashing, as it has been labelled, maybe sport can encourage wider, lasting change in the Kingdom.
And that has to be a good thing.

Re: 'How stupid the two Moon brothers are to think that this is the end times for America and the world when the opposite is true. You can thank patriotic Americans of every background and faith tradition for that. As time goes on people will realize how close we did come to having really corrupt people control our lives and destroy the republic and with it affect the world. But something happened to prevent that. God intervened to rescue us from ourselves yet again, while most people are completely conditioned by the corrupt corporate media to believe the opposite.' WIOTM
God did not rescue us from having really corrupt people control our lives and destroy the republic. Trump, Obama and Hillary all work for the same corrupt boss. Consider foreign policy. Trump campaigned on a vehement anti-war stance and was a fierce critic of foreign intervention during Barack Obama's presidency.Take Syria, where Trump has deployed sizable numbers of American combat forces and directly attacked the military of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. That’s a major change from Trump’s position during the Obama years, when he consistently urged the president to avoid getting the US involved in the country’s bloody civil war and instead use the money to fix what he described on Twitter as the “broken U.S.” On April 27, 2016, then-Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump promised, “I will never send our finest into battle unless necessary, and I mean absolutely necessary, and will only do so if we have a plan for victory with a capital V,” he thundered. “The world must know that we do not go abroad in search of enemies.” Are Syria, North Korea, and Iran any threat whatsoever to the security of the US? No. That is laughable. Then why are they the objects of Trump led US aggression? Because Syria, North Korea, and Iran are the three remaining countries without a Rothschild central bank.
In 2011, Libya was one of only four countries that didn't have a Rothschild central bank. Now Libya has a Rothschild central bank Gaddafi was hunted down and killed by forces organized and unleashed by US President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Washington organized mercenaries, termed them “rebels” as in Syria, and sent them to Libya to overthrow Gaddafi. When it became clear that Gaddafi’s forces would prevail, Washington secured a UN no-fly zone over Libya to be enforced by NATO. The stated purpose of the no-fly zone was to prevent Gaddafi from attacking civilian targets, which he was not doing. The real reason was to prevent the Libyan Air Force from supporting the troops on the ground. The US and NATO themselves violated the UN no-fly zone by using Western air power to attack Gaddafi’s forces, thus throwing the conflict to the CIA organized mercenaries. Gaddai was captured and brutally murdered. Clinton said of his death: “We came, we saw, he died.” Ever since, Libya, formerly a prosperous and successful society, has been in chaos'.
Trump has now endorsed Hillary Clinton's Libya policy and threatened to do the same to North Korea:
'Donald Trump has threatened Kim Jong-un with the same fate as Muammar Gaddafi* if the North Korean leader 'doesn’t make a deal' on his nuclear weapons program. 'The Libyan model was a much different model.' Trump said. 'We decimated that country. We never said to Gaddafi, "Oh, we're going to give you protection’,” Trump said . “We went in and decimated him, and we did the same thing with Iraq.”' Currently, the Rothschild's agent Trump is putting regime change pressure on Syria, North Korea, and Iran, the three remaining countries without a Rothschild central bank. What has Rothschild Inc., owner of the Federal Reserve, guardian and treasurer of the Vatican Bank, owner of a global network of 'private' and central banks and by far the wealthiest family in the world have to do with 'patriot' Donald Trump?
Trump Bailed Out of Bankruptcy by Rothschild
''Donald Trump found himself in financial trouble as the real estate market in New York tanked. The three casinos in Atlantic City, like other Trump assets, were under threat from lenders. It was only with the assistance and assurance of Wilbur L. Ross Jr., senior managing director of Rothschild Inc. that Trump was allowed to keep the casinos and rebuild his threatened empire. This was detailed in a Bloomberg article from March 22, 1992. The connection between Baron Edmond de Rothschild, being one of the original principle investors of Resorts International, and Rothschild Inc. allowing Donald Trump to retain “ownership” over the Atlantic City casinos, which saved him from bankruptcy, should not be considered a coincidence.' ' America’s first billionaire president is riding into the White House with populist support -- and he’s bringing some billionaire friends with him. One of them is distressed-asset investor Wilbur Ross, who is Trump’s pick for commerce secretary. The two have a history that spans more than 25 years.'

'We knew Trump was being financed and heavily supported by the Zionists when Sheldon Adelson spoke out in support and gave Trump a huge campaign donation. Now his son has made it even clearer that Trump is working for the Zionists by telling us that it was the Iran nuke deal that spurred his father to start his presidential candidacy. Israel and the Zionists were absolutely furious when the Iran deal was signed, Netanyahu almost went berserk, spewing all kinds of insane rhetoric. Unable to stop the deal, it now looks like the Zionists are trying to destroy it by injecting Trump into US politics; when Trump says things like “my number one priority is to dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran” he is really saying ‘the number one task I have been given by my Zionist controllers is to act in Israel’s best interests by destroying the Iranian nuke deal’. https://www.veteranstoday.com/2016/05/30/trump-is-clearly-a-zionist-puppet/

Woman charged with stalking, terroristic mischief for allegedly harassing Tony Stewart
yahoo
A Florida woman is facing felony charges because of her conduct towards former Cup Series champion Tony Stewart.
Per WRTV 6 in Indianapolis, Kathi Russell has been charged with stalking, terroristic mischief and intimidation for trying to harass Stewart for more than a year. The harassment included “hundreds” of calls to people and businesses associated with Stewart and even some members of the media.
In some of the calls, according to the affidavit, nothing was heard on the line. In others, Russell allegedly played an audio clip saying, “We Came, we saw, he died” – a soundbite by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi – followed by “maniacal laughter.” In others, a clip from the Talking Heads song “Psycho Killer” would play.
Russell is also accused of placing an anonymous phone call reporting that a plane landing in Fort Worth, Texas, would be transporting narcotics. Investigators determined the plane was occupied by Stewart, and that the call was a false report that came from Russell.
The reason for her apparent anger towards the three-time champion? She told authorities she was upset that she didn’t get an autograph from Stewart at a race. Yeah, click the link above. The story is wild.
There was even a protection order against the 68-year-old by Stewart’s mother regarding all of the alleged calls. The report says that, in September, Russell sent an envelope with a powdery substance to the Indianapolis Law Firm that had notified Russell of the protection order.
A spokesperson for Stewart declined comment to the station.
Stewart, who retired from the Cup Series at the end of the 2016 season, is the co-owner of Stewart-Haas Racing. Stewart was in attendance Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway as Kevin Harvick, one of his team’s drivers, raced for the title. Harvick finished fourth in the race, won by Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr.

Daniel “Chappie” James

Daniel "Chappie" James Jr. (February 11, 1920 – February 25, 1978) was a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force, who in 1975 became the first African American to reach the rank of four-star general. He is the third person of Sub-Saharan origin to become highest-ranking officer in the Western world after Thomas-Alexandre Dumas (1793) and Toussaint Louverture (1797).
World War II
James graduated from the Tuskegee University in 1942 where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education. He continued civilian pilot training under the government-sponsored Civilian Pilot Training Program. He remained at Tuskegee as a civilian instructor pilot in the Army Air Corps later that July. Throughout the remainder of the war James trained pilots for the all-black 99th Pursuit Squadron. He did not see combat himself until the Korean War.
Korean War
In September 1949, James went to the Philippines as flight leader for the 12th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 18th Fighter Wing at Clark Field. In July 1950 he left for Korea, where he flew 101 combat missions in P-51 Mustang and F-80 aircraft.
James returned to the United States, and in July 1951 went to Otis Air Force Base, Massachusetts as an all-weather jet fighter pilot with the 58th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, later becoming operations officer. In April 1953 he became commander of the 437th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, and assumed command of the 60th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron in August 1955. While stationed at Otis, he received the Massachusetts Junior Chamber of Commerce 1954 award of "Young Man of the Year" for his outstanding community relations efforts. On August 15, 1954 he appeared as a contestant on the game show What's My Line? He graduated from the Air Command and Staff College in June 1957.
James next was assigned to Headquarters U.S. Air Force as a staff officer in the Air Defense Division of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations. In July 1960 he was transferred to RAF Bentwaters in England, where he served successively as assistant director of operations and then director of operations, 81st Tactical Fighter Wing; commander, 92nd Tactical Fighter Squadron; and deputy commander for operations for the 81st Wing. In September 1964 James was transferred to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, where he was director of operations training and later deputy commander for operations for the 4453rd Combat Crew Training Wing.
Vietnam War
James went to Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand, in December 1966, as deputy commander for operations, 8th TFW. In June 1967, under Colonel Robin Olds, he was named wing vice commander when Col. Vermont Garrison completed his tour. Both in their mid-40s, they formed a legendary team nicknamed "Blackman and Robin." James flew 78 combat missions into North Vietnam, many in the Hanoi/Haiphong area, and led a flight in the "Operation Bolo" MiG sweep in which seven Communist MiG-21s were destroyed, the highest total kill of any mission during the Vietnam War.
He was named vice commander of the 33rd TFW at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, in December 1967. While stationed at Eglin, the Florida State Jaycees named James as Florida's "Outstanding American of the Year" for 1969, and he received the Jaycee Distinguished Service Award. He was transferred to Wheelus Air Base in the Libyan Arab Republic in August 1969 as Commander of the 7272nd Fighter Training Wing.
James became Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) in March 1970 and was designated principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) in April 1973. On September 1, 1974, he assumed duty as vice commander of the Military Airlift Command (MAC), headquartered at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
James was promoted to four-star grade and assigned as commander in chief of NORAD/ADCOM at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, on September 1, 1975. In these dual capacities he had operational command of all United States and Canadian strategic aerospace defense forces. On December 6, 1977, he assumed duty as special assistant to the Chief of Staff, U.S. Air Force.
General James was widely known for his speeches on Americanism and patriotism, for which he was editorialized in numerous national and international publications.
When asked his views on the growing Civil Rights Movement after having to make an emergency landing in North Vietnam, he answered, "Look, friend, I'm really not interested in all of that, really. See I consider myself damned lucky to have been able to land my airplane at this emergency strip in one piece." Being asked about militants like H. Rap Brown and Stokely Carmichael, who implied that blacks ought to fight at home rather than in Vietnam, also angered James, with him stating "...the lawlessness, rioting, men like Stokely Carmichael acting as if they speak for the Negro people. They aren't, and set civil rights back 100 years!" James even removed his Black Panther emblem from his helmet since it had become associated with a movement he no longer identified with. Excerpts from some of the speeches have been read into the Congressional Record.
The statements by James in which he repudiated the most militant point of view endeared him to concerned whites, including President Johnson, who invited him to a White House reception. Immediately after the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and as riots erupted in several areas across the country, James addressed a gathering of Air Force Association officers at which he declared that in spite of events and the resistance to progress, 'I'm not disgusted-I'm a citizen of the United States of America and I'm no second-class citizen either and no man here is, unless he thinks like one and reasons like one and performs like one. This is my country and I believe in her and I to her welfare whenever and however I can. If she has any ills, I'll stand by her until in God's given time, through her wisdom and her consideration for the welfare of the entire nation, she will put them right."
He was awarded the George Washington Freedom Foundation Medal in both 1967 and 1968. He received the Arnold Air Society Eugene M. Zuckert Award in 1970 for outstanding contributions to Air Force professionalism. His citation read "... fighter pilot with a magnificent record, public speaker, and eloquent spokesman for the American Dream we so rarely achieve."
Libya
One of Chappie James's most dangerous moments came when he was assigned to command Wheelus Air Base in Libya. in 1969 Colonel Muammar Gaddafi overran the gates at Wheelus Air Base and had an Old West style standoff with James. With both men packing pistols on their hips James told Gaddafi, "Move your hand away from that gun!" Gaddafi complied and pulled back. Afterwards, the United States was unable to reach an agreement with Gaddafi and agreed to vacate Wheelus. During the final negotiations, a team of Libyan officers brought along a soldier with a submachine gun into James's living room. James asserted himself and the soldier vanished. Chappie then soon left Libya.

General James died of a heart attack on February 25, 1978, just two weeks after his 58th birthday and three weeks following his retirement from the Air Force.

Imelda Marcos
September 1989.
