Nakajima (中島) island at The “Kyū Shiba Rikyū Gardens (旧芝離宮恩賜庭園)” near Hamamatsuchō Station (浜松町駅) in Hamamatsuchō, Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The arrangement of stones on this island represents Mt. Hōrai (蓬莱山) Mt.Penglai in Chinese. It is a sacred Mountain in Chinese mythology. It is believed to be the land where immortals live, and where there is no death or old age.
