I just finished watching Wednesday on Netflix and can I just say... absolute perfection!!!!

The romance, comedy, thrill, drama, etc was absolutely amazing.

And miss Jenna Ortega KILLED it as Wednesday Addams.

Also the PLOT TWIST

Tyler being the beast all along was a complete shock like I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU HOW COULD YOU

Thornhill wasn't at the Rave'N to keep an eye on Wednesday!!

She was there to keep an eye on Tyler!!

Thornhill knew she was starting to lose control over Tyler since he was already starting to fall for Wednesday, that's why she showed up at that dance to keep an eye on the two!! This also further backs the theory that she told Tyler to wait by the boat later because she was scared Tyler might try to save Wednesday!!

Update on my opinions tbh:

I don't really like Wyler all that much tbh if we're talking romance between them... Wenclair is a great ship but to be honest I don't really ship them romantically- I think Enid and Wednesday make a great QPR pairing, to specify- their interactions seemed much more authentic and full of trust than Wednesday's with Xavier's (and Enid and Tyler treating Wednesday like a human being instead of a nutcase/psychology experiment), but the coffee shop scene where Wednesday and Tyler first met was pretty cute!

Ofc they are BOTH pretty bad in terms of morality (Tyler being the *SPOILER* and Wednesday dropping a school of piranhas into a pool and attempting murder), but I just don't think I'd like them together as a couple all that much- not because I don't think they're compatible, but I don't think Wednesday would like or trust Tyler enough after he (if I'm correct in remembering what happened in the final episode of S1) tried to kill Wednesday.

She has every reason to. And also, c'mon- has she EVER shown an interest in romance or romantic attraction that alloromantic people would have towards ANYONE in this show at all? Like, this is going to be Mileven vs Byler discourse all over again, to be perfectly honest- anyone can ship what they wish, but I want this to be clear:

I have little opinion on the ships and their clashing discourse, though I find those I am favored towards cute and romantic. I'm more engaged in the plot- both for Stranger Things and Wednesday. And no matter what, the writers have the final say, and we're all just going to need to accept that and write our own AU's without bothering or harassing anyone.

Chapter 3: guarding all your treasures (covering your lies)

Weems is trying to gaslight, girlboss, gatekeep her way out of this mess with Wednesday. Ms. Thornhill is hoping to mansplain, manipulate and manwhore her way out of suspicion while Wednesday's is hoping to commit some (wo)manslaughter.

Warning: me ranting once again.

We all watched the Wednesday show right? Right.

Can I just say how much I love the themes of this show? And the fact that a 400 year old white man had nothing else to do than beef with a 16 year old goth and a school full of other adolescents. Love it. (Quite frankly this reminds me of stranger things s4)

And now the second part: i love the fact that the show is portraying different types of people. The fact that Wednesday is goth and people actually liking her for her. But you know what is very disturbing? The fact that popular bullies in a school like to make fun of people who are like Wednesday. The hypocrisy of this is astronomical. And then they say they could survive Wednesday Addams. Sorry to burst your bubble emily however the chance of Wednesday to actually like you or to even decide to not eat you is next to 0%. I find it hilarious that bullies think they could survive the literal impersonation of the stereotypical goth even though we all know they couldn't handle being around goth people for even 30 minutes without teasing them. Anyways now from that part to the most important part. WHY ARE THE CHARACTERS WRITTEN SO WELL? They have everything. Good character development (Enid, Bianca), well written characters that actually fit into the story (Tyler), and most importantly, this show has a character for anybody. From the outsider, lovable weirdo to the quiet, mysterious popular kid. And the best part is that they all fit so well into the story. Like Ms. Thornhill is the perfect plot twist.

Overall this show is absolutely fantastic I'd recommend for anyone to watch it. Even if you are not a big fan of dark comedy/ horror, you will find at least one thing that you like about this show.

Wenclair Zombie Apocalypse au

-Enid is a sole survivor of a failed evacuation center. She only carries a bat with nails on it (or claws but she still haven't wolfed out yet)

- Wednesday is just a solo survivor who doesn't like being in a group since she think that there is a higher chance of being killed in a group ( She carries either a sniper or a crossbow or a sword)

- They met when Wednesday saved Enid from a flock of zombies that was about to attack her.

- Wednesday was annoyed on how Enid keep following her like a lost puppy but she still haven't left her since she conclude that Enid is a useful partner.

- few months later they met the Nightshade and Eugene.

- Wednesday was the one who discovered the way to create a zombie but Ms. Thornhill stole her research and created the apocalypse.

- Ms.Thornhill used Tyler as an experiment to create a mutant, intelligent and strong zombie.

- The Addams family are safe and sound but they don't know how to contact Wednesday ( but they don't worry about Wednesday because they are immune to any virus and know that Wednesday was able to create a cure to the virus at some point)
