OCs HERE WE GO!!!!

You're getting my @adventures-in-the-mad-forest fantasy/horror podcast OCs because I'm almost done writing season one and I'm so excited and dhdhdh!!! You're getting cliffnotes because I'm so excited and there's so many that my mind is not forming coherent sentences rn. lol. Feel free to ask about any of them in more detail though!

Glacie - Main character, genderfluid, asexual, bipolar 1 disorder (if all this sounds familiar, it's because they're based off of me lol), works at and runs the Meeting Point. They're pretty cool, protective, and even overprotective of coworkers.

Cameron - Cis lesbian, Pretty chill, loves her friends and can be really energetic at times. Works at the Meeting Point

Dwayne - Transmasc, single father of two. Pansexual aromantic. Pretty chill dude. According to my friend he looks like Demetrius from Stardew Valley. Works at the Meeting Point

Gerry - (19), Is new to working at the Meeting Point, still finding his place. Cis. Aroace

Shaun - Pretty cool dude, cishet, loves giving other people nicknames. Works at the Meeting Point located near the Mad Forest

Mysterious Prophet - Warns the main characters that the Mad Forest hungers, nothing too notable about him.

Delmena - An old widowed woman who uses a wheelchair. She's outfitted her home to be more accessible but has a live-at-home-caregiver anyways just to help out with the little things. And in case she ever becomes to sickly to do things on her own.

Carmelita - Delmena's caretaker, helps her around town especially with curbs or jutted out sidewalks or rocky paths that have no pavement to get around. Transfem lesbian

Haeyl - Mellon's dogsitter, quite secretive

Laila - Dwayne's eldest child (8 years old), likes to pester her brother, enjoys dragons and the idea of magic (hasn't encountered any magic so she doesn't have any thoughts on like, actual magic).

Deon - Dwayne's youngest child (6 years old), very energetic, really likes trains and how they function. Also enjoys magnets

Ms. Lemona - Babysitter for Laila and Deon

Mellon the dog - Shaun's dog, she's so cute I love her so much

Do you already have voices in mind for the characters? Like a general gist of what you’d like them to sound like?

Sort of but not completely?

Okay so for some of the characters, I will be looking for people from specific demographics to play them. Specifically because these characters are people of color.

Dwayne: Priority will be given to someone who is black, preferably a black trans man.

Laila: Priority will be given to someone who is black and has a more child-like voice

Deon: Priority will be given to someone who is black and has a more child-like voice

Ms. Lemona: Priority will be given to someone who is black

Haeyl: Priority will be given to someone who is black, preferably a black trans woman

Gerry: Priority will be given to someone who has a darker skin complexion

Carmelita: Priority will be given to someone who is latina, preferably a latina trans woman

Also Delmena is around 80 years old, and I would like her voice to reflect her age as well as her spirit (she's very active and lively).

Dwayne

Honestly, he's really cool. He's a transmasc single dad raising 2 kids who he loves so much! Dwayne's got this really nice demeanor, and he makes everyone feel safe. He/him, aromantic and pansexual!

He and Ms. Lemona are good friends, who after saving each other, feel like they owe the other for what they did.

While he does have some secrets, mainly who the other parent to his children are, he is pretty much an open book and full of wisdom.

Welp... the door was busted anyways dhdhdh. And hello!

Okay, so these aren't technically my *oldest* OCs. But they're the oldest OCs that I'm actively doing something with :3 (it's for my podcast that I have on my @adventures-in-the-mad-forest blog :D)

Glacie: They/them, genderfluid, asexual, is the owner of the Meeting Point. Glacie is bipolar 1 with psychotic episodes, which leads to them having to take more breaks than the rest of the crew. They don't like this due to feeling incompetent because of it, and so often times they push themself to the breaking point.

Cameron: She/her, Cis, lesbian, works at the Meeting Point. Cameron is wonderful, she’s independent, but terrified of being alone. She’s sassy and protective, but she’d do anything for her friends.

Shaun: He/him Cishet, coolest straight guy you’ll ever meet. Gives everyone nicknames, even if they don’t stick. Doesn’t like being serious without room for whimsy, he enjoys having fun. Honestly, he’s just a silly guy.

Dwayne: He/him, transmasc, pansexual, aromantic. Single dad of two (Laila and Deon). Is doing his best to provide for his kids and give them the best life they can possibly have. Ms. Lemona is his babysitter, both of them feeling as if they owe the other for the help they provide each other.

Gerry: He/him, Cis, aroace. 19 years old, youngest member of the Meeting Point. He’s just been hired to work there and is finding his place, is closest with Dwayne at this point. Has a habit of calling Glacie boss for some reason (no he is not being forced to.)
