Remember the show Are You Being Served? I loved ditzy Mrs. Slocomb and she’s inspired my geriatric look. Once my hair turns completely white, I’m going to dye it different colors every month or so. Another old lady style inspiration is Mrs. Roper from Three’s Conpany (not sure if that aired in the UK) but she wore big jewelry and caftans. My look will be complete.

It’s all very silly. (Very, very silly.) But it gets the gang into costumes and allows for some of them to put on accents (as it’s a Greek wedding). James Hayter is surprisingly funny as Mr. Tebbs. Mollie Sugden is a pure delight.

Guest stars include Gorden Kaye from ‘Allo ‘Allo! and Felix Bowness from Hi-De-Hi!
