Tagged by @sayonaramidnight - thank-you (and forgive me for blabbing on about so many faves)! ^_^
the last book I read: last novel was So Big, by Edna Ferber; last non-fiction work was The Truth in True Crime, by J. Warner Wallace (I usually have one of each on the go, and switch back and forth between them)
a book I recommend: for fiction, (besides the above - Selina Peake is definitely a roaring 20's Midwestern American kindred spirit to Anne Shirley), Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke and Dorothy L. Sayers's Murder Must Advertise; and for non-fiction: Person of Interest by J. Warner Wallace and Mortimer Adler & Charles van Doren's How to Read a Book Oooh - and for fellow book lovers: Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair!
a book that I couldn’t put down: the most recent one would have to be Martha Wells's All Systems Red (book one of The Murderbot Diaries) - it had such a compelling narrative and focal character voice!
a book that I’ve read twice (or more): how to choose? Old (and new) friends include: Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters, and Dorothy Sayers's Harriet Vane novels
a book on my TBR: Mirra Ginsburg's translation of The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov has been at the top of the pile since being recommended by a colleague far too long ago but in the past few years it's been tough to put myself in the right mood and frame of mind for it, sadly
a book I’ve put down: for me, Nabokov's Lolita also immediately comes to mind (had a tough time with it ages ago and haven't picked it up since; like Miya I do want to give it another try - just haven't been able to bring myself to it, especially when there are so many more enjoyable alternatives out there, for me!)
a book on my wish list: way too many to choose from, but I'm really curious about Master-at-Arms by Rafael Sabatini
a favourite book from childhood: I honestly can't choose just one (so many of the classics were faves, especially L.M. Montgomery's and Lewis Carroll's) but for fun I'll admit that these ones: The Girl Who Owned a City by O.T. Nelson, Scott O'Dell's Island of the Blue Dolphins, and Lloyd Alexander's Vesper Holly books (like The El Dorado Adventure) were highly influential, as well
a book you would give to a friend: it always depends on their tastes, of course (though in the past I've enthusiastically gifted JSMN to adult friends who I know enjoy the genre, Island of the Blue Dolphins to young girls, and A.S. Peterson's The Fiddler's Gun and The Fiddlers Green to teen girls I know...I'm auntie to A LOT of nieces and nephews! :D)
a book of poetry or lyrics you own: Dorothy Parker's Enough Rope, and T.S. Elliot's Old Possom's Book of Practical Cats are old faves
a nonfiction book you own: I picked up The Lost Art of Reading Nature’s Signs by Tristan Gooley and look forward to reading it soon
what are you currently reading: currently revisiting my old friend, Anne of Green Gables, and then I hope to go through at least the next one or two in the series again😊
what are you planning on reading next: along with the non-fiction book in #11 above, I'm also thinking of taking Death and the Conjuror by Tom Mead with me on vacation in a few weeks
Tagging: @ashknife @jessilroberts @firefletch @cygnascrimbles (no pressure) and any other bibliophiles who're interested and haven't done this one yet!

Upper Body Workout for Growth with Mirra #gymmotivation#back#armsworkout...
Yes, Mr. ERIC DEAN LEWIS IS IN YOUR LIFE, FOR GOOD SO YES, I DO NEED YOUR HELP It's NOT to offend; you are able to make a point in writing about how just a little piece of poetry does matter for your soul these days. But I will show you the light and the value that will so famously show you my link here.. https://py.pl/238BLX1jQ9O Hypothetical syllogism means if an apple is good for you, then I, too, can be great for you. My way of thinking promotes a cultural manifesto mindset that calls for a better way of life. This thoroughness leads to a well-motivated individual revelation in one's mind, which always equals much better leads, especially when it comes to people who manifest what they believe is natural for them at any given time. Hypothetical syllogism is my way of thinking, which promotes a cultural manifesto mindset that calls for a better way of life. This thoroughness leads to a well-motivated individual revelation in one's mind, which always equals much better leads, especially when it comes to people who manifest what they believe is natural for them at any given time. So, by changing my attitude—suddenly—I changed my altitude, flying higher than ever as far as money was concerned. This change reaction only led to a much better—abridged lifestyle. It also led to much more free time and lots of money. You're expressing a personal philosophy or approach to life that values thoroughness, critical thinking, and personal revelation. Let's break down your statement: Hypothetical Syllogism: This is a logical principle where if you have two conditional statements ("if A, then B" and "if B, then C"), you can infer a third statement ("if A, then C"). It's a fundamental aspect of deductive reasoning. Cultural Manifesto Mindset: This suggests a mindset that seeks to create or adhere to a set of beliefs or principles to improve society or culture. Better Way of Life: This implies a desire for improvement in one's personal life or the lives of others, possibly through adherence to specific values or principles. Thoroughness: This suggests a meticulous or comprehensive approach to thinking and problem-solving. Well-Motivated Individual Revelation: Through thorough thinking and analysis, one can discover personal revelations or insights driven by solid motivation. Better Leads mean better guidance or outcomes, implying that thorough thinking and personal revelation lead to better decisions or actions. Manifestation of Beliefs refers to the idea that people often act according to what they believe to be accurate or honest. Your statement advocates for a mindset that values logical thinking, personal introspection, and the pursuit of improvement, individually and collectively. Through thorough and logical reasoning, individuals can arrive at insights that lead to better outcomes and contribute to societal progress. The ‘philosophy' of thinking better thoughts through' attitude assessment towards,’ developing positive goals in your interpretation of the world, and the more experienced you are, the more universally realistic way you think on how you might make your accomplishment your benefit factor that will truly make your dreams come true. Now, how do you place a valuable accomplishment on a goal? Only you can change your mind so that it changes the way you approach things. It would help if you reached another cornerstone for your thinking process to achieve your goals finally. Just by putting goals in one's philosophies, the test of time under which it can get a pathway is the mind that extrinsically pleases any values of one's goals set in stone. This intrinsically motivated time slot, the blueprint that sits in stone for this period, will only make your dreams come alive. So, many values are like cutting paths through the deep snow. In the forest is that journey forcing you to think positively to reach your true potential, goals you didn't even believe in yourself. Listing your goals on paper will impart them in the back of your head as a total success, not failure. This always leads you into the deep forests of the world, which forces you across the journey. To positive workflow in your head. You are one in life. This will be the deciding factor, a positive, profound goal in one's head, good or bad. By opening one's mind, you will see the forest in the woods as a pathfinder, seeing it through, which can see it through throughout without believing one's self. Your attitude forces you to accept that you can’t fly over it, go around it, or dig under it. You have no choice but to go through it, and then you reach the point of no return for your time. The only apparent truth is that there are significant gestures and directions for you to reach your goals. You can’t climb the water in a waterfall. This only means meaningful reasoning relating to or denoting reasoning or knowledge that proceeds from theoretical deduction rather than observation or experience. So, apriori places one's total concentration on one's belief factor in oneself, not on the things you can't do, but looking forward to the things you tried for years. Trying to do the same thing repeatedly only finds out that to make it work, by sitting back, thinking about what's causing it not to work, and only fixing the problem before moving on to the next task. Only by looking at each failure one by one will you be blessed by dealing with all your failures once and for all.

Raymond Mirra: A pediatrician in Philadelphia
Raymond Mirra: A pediatrician
Born in June 1958 Raymond Mirra Jr was raised by his parents in a working-class neighbourhood of South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He had two younger siblings, Lucille (a) and Clyde. He attended public school until he was thirteen. He then went to college, studying mathematics and philosophy, but did not graduate. Instead, he worked as a groundsman for a landscaping company. Later he worked as a contractor and retired with his family.
Attending the University of Southern California Raymond Mirra pursued a degree in communications and marketing. Though not a professional photographer, he did start a career as a fashion designer and helped design some of the early suits worn by surfers and celebrities such as surfers John Daly and Dean Wormer. Though primarily a male professional, he was a committee member for the Peace and Justice Committee of the United States and was involved in local political, social and environmental activism. As an executive director of the non-profit International Business Times, Mirra sought to bring greater balance to the reporting on business.
Following this, he served as communications director for the New York City Mayoral Campaign and political bureau for the Liberal Party of New York. When he left the Liberal Party, he set up a consulting firm, Global Sources Media, which has gone through several names and is now called Ray Mirra Energy. It is an environmental consulting firm that focuses on energy alternatives. Prior to this, he was an investment banker and partner at Lehman Brothers where he helped finance the purchase of the World Trade Center. As well as being a former investor in New York Stock Exchange, Mirra worked for Blackrock, JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.
A curious thing about Mirra is that the only known co-worker of his who has made mention about him is fellow hedge fund billionaire, Robert Kiyosaki. Robert Kiyosaki is said to be a major player in helping to create the economic bubbles that helped to fuel the current housing bubble. So it would appear from what we know of Robert Kiyosaki and Raymond Mirra, that they were roommates in college. Kiyosaki is one of the smarter people I have met in a long time and there is no doubt that he would not have picked up the same strange habits that Mirra is noted for.
A clinical pediatrics director
From what I can tell from my research, Mirra does have an environmental degree and works at the Center for Natural Diversity at Stanford University. Though this does not make sense because Mirra is not from Stanford and is an expert on natural disasters and disaster mitigation, it is interesting that he uses the same term "natural disaster" in both his llp and the environmental think tank that are associated with Stanford. The Center for Natural Diversity at Stanford appears to be an environmental think tank. Though it may be this that is helping to create the hype around Mirra's venture.
The fact is that Raymond Mirra is not a clinical pediatrics director. He worked as a surgical assistant before going to work for Robert Kiyosaki in the early 1990s. Kiyosaki is also connected to the Environmental Defense Fund that has received funding from the EPA. Kiyosaki is associated with several environmental causes that he is passionate about including saving rainforests and reducing global warming. Though he has never been tied to the center at Stanford, he does sit on the board of directors of the environmental think tank. This makes it seem like either Kiyosaki has used his affiliation to help create a puff piece for Mirra or that the Center for Natural Diversity is somehow related to the environmental cause that Kiyosaki is so passionate about.
A quick Google search of the term "Raymond Mirra" shows that his name is not on the list of executives on the Employment Record of the University of California. His name appears only on a page entitled "Term Resume," which is used by the university as a portal to listing all of its employees' information for the year. The school lists its Human Resources Director, Executive Director, and Director of Finance and Administrative Services, as well as the following locations: "Human Resources Consultant," "Regional Planning," "HRSA Regional Director," "HRSA Assistant Director," "BSL-Certified Specialist in Diagnostic Medical sonography," and "BSL-Diagnostic Medical Hematologist." These are the same locations that the Environmental Defense Fund has been listed at.
While the search for the names of the "center's directors does not reveal the full list of its staff and its expenses," as the article points out, it does show that Mirra is not merely an employee of the Stanford University. He has also been listed as a staff writer for the journal JAMA Oncology. Though there is no clear proof as to what role, if any, Mr. Mirra plays within the university, the fact remains that his position is publicly listed and accessible. The California State Department of Public Health also confirmed that Mr. Mirra is currently licensed to practice medicine in California.

Paolo Tommasi, Italian architect who helped design Matrimandir in Auroville, dies of COVID-19
[ad_1]
Paolo Tommasi, 92, an Italian architect-artist who helped design the Matrimandir, the sphere-shaped centrepiece of Auroville, died of COVID-19, on Thursday.
Mr. Tomassi was among the few persons still around, who had interacted with Mirra Alfassa — ‘The Mother’ to her followers — the spiritual associate of Sri Aurobindo, who established the universal township of Auroville in 1968. He was…

Dynasty Aeon. First record. The New Life of Mirra Aeon
A little more than a year passed before I finally settled in the Fourth Universe. And I can say with confidence that this was the worst year of my life. This time I was in my old house, which, it would seem, was better than the opportunity to spend this year in prison. At my porch the policemen always rushed - fearing that I would run off somewhere to Bridgeport, they would not let me out of the room, even some food trainee was sent to me for food. I was just going crazy alone - the walls of this house kept a memory of what I had tried so hard to forget. I never went into my room, even though I knew that the mess had been removed long ago. I did not remember well what happened that night, but when I looked only at the door to this room, fragments of memories all rolled onto me at once, and it became unbearably hard.
It happened there.
The last day I was allowed to buy food and new clothes - I did not even want to look at the old one. I asked Mr Turt about it for a very long time and was incredibly happy when I was released. Let and with the protection of three people, but released. And then I got on the bus, where everything was under the same supervision, there were fifteen more people in the company - I tried not to look at the passengers, but for some reason even with minimal contact they seemed strange to me. Another day passed.
And now, I’m finally in Windenburg, and it seems to me that I could never breathe so calmly.
Mr. Turt kept his promise - I owned a really huge site - legally, of course, he was my home, but I could not live there yet, simply because while in the place of my dream house there was only a wasteland. Mr. Turth said that there are very friendly residents here, and it will not be difficult for me to find landlords, but I had to do it myself. I doubted that I would be so easily admitted to the doorstep, but I had nowhere to live, and I was forced to go looking for a place where I could stop for the first time. That little house was small, but beautiful, well-kept, there was a pond near it, and he was the first one who came to me on the way.
The confidence in the excessive friendliness of the neighbors, inspired by me by Mr. Thurth, began to slowly melt with every step to the house. It was simply a huge carelessness to let the first person in on me, and I doubted that the residents of even such an idyllic town could be so reckless. Perhaps in me were the echoes of memories from a past life - after the incident that happened to me, I practically lost confidence in people and could not imagine how they could trust me. Or maybe I thought it up just because I was afraid to go into the house to strangers. On the porch, I stood for a few minutes in front of the door before I dared to knock on it. Somewhere from the depths of the house there was a roar, and I heard a loud cry: “Come in!”
Opening the door, I got into a small light corridor, and then into a similar drawing-room. On the couch sat a breathless girl in green, years so little less than thirty. She was holding a thick book in her hands, but when she saw me, she laid it on the coffee tables and smiled.
- Oh, you seem to be our new neighbor! Oh, we were already going to congratulate you on housewarming, but, huh, it so happened that I burned fruit bread, and go without a gift somehow indecent, so I thought … - yet, Fredrickson was right. The woman chattered without stopping, remembering to sparkle with a snow-white smile, and under her unrestrained trembling even I seemed to melt and almost ceased to worry that she had met this girl just two minutes ago, and was ready to fully trust her. - Oh, sit down, please, you must be tired from the road.
I obediently crouched down on the brown leather next to the hostess and began to listen to her monologue, from which I learned that she is Mike Khas, the famous (well, or so far not so) writer of all of Windenburg, and lives here with the same almost - a popular neighbor-artist Ulrike, whose name I do not remember, they rent this house together, and I can visit them whenever I want.
For some half an hour of communication, she already wrote me down as a friend and even let me evaluate one of her newly made novels. I, of course, praised him, ignoring the fact that I do not know much about science fiction and I have no idea what a wormhole flowmeter is, and everything that happens in the novel remains a mystery covered in darkness for me. Mike also called me a real connoisseur of literature and said that I would feel fine in the company of her club “Avanarhisty”, but fortunately, while I did not cry for him, but gave me another couple of volumes of my manuscript.
- Well, in general, welcome to the town, Mirra. Well, it’s time for me, the meeting of the club will begin soon. - Mike rose from her seat and was about to leave, and, apparently, waited until I went up and followed her to the exit.
- Listen. This is the case … You will not mind if I live here with you until I rebuild my house, okay? I can also take off for rent. “I blurted out the last sentence without thinking at all about the fact that I actually have not enough money for food, but I decided that in another way, Mike would not let me live with them. In general, I was amazed at my own impudence - until recently I could not imagine that I could just as easily ask people. Although, until recently, I thought that I was not capable of much.
After a little reflection, Mike smiled again and said that I could stay here as long as I wanted. To me, of course, it once again seemed strange that Khas was ready to let in his house a man with whom he knew for two hours. But I thought that it was actually good for me, and I tried not to think about Mike’s excessive credulity any more.
When Khas left, I was bored - I examined the whole house, but without finding anything interesting that I could study without breaking the limits of decency, I went back to the living room. Strange, only now I noticed a blue paint smudged easel in the corner of the room, a couple of canvases lying at its base, and paint with a brush. As a child, I loved drawing and even selling five-simoleons smeared with bald leaves in school-the children liked to drag home all sorts of rubbish, and I used lunch to buy lunch at the school canteen. I thought about the fact that I can practice a little in this business, and when I start to get something better than children’s smear, I can sell my paintings - in Simlandia there are always connoisseurs of art, and pictures of all artists - from beginners with crooked lines and wrong Falling shadow to geniuses of abstractionism. Picking up a brush, I began to draw with self-interest.
- And you are doing even better than Ulrike, - Mike’s voice came from behind her, which indicated that I was standing for an hour at the easel, and Khas had already returned home.
Mike, by the way, liked me more and more - not only did she allow me to live with her, she still ceded her bed and fed me - oatmeal (which, by the way, was more like a dry breakfast than a porridge) Of course, was not a real delicacy, but after the meal that I was fed when sent to the Fourth Universe (do not get it wrong, I was grateful to Mr. Turth, but that food was really terrible), she really seemed to me a delicious dish. I swallowed it with such ecstasy that I even managed to pierce (!) The spoon with my lip. Fortunately, she healed surprisingly quickly.
- Mirra, you know, I was just thinking.” I went into Mike’s room when I was about to go to bed. - I talked with Ulrike and she told me that in the gallery where she works, free space was vacated. Position, however, is low, but they do not need either education or work experience. You could easily get in there.
- Thank you very much, Mike. - I will definitely go there tomorrow. - I did not know how to thank Khas. We knew nothing of anything - but during these two hours she managed to help me more than anyone in my life. Not counting Fredrickson, of course. - Good night.
- Good night, she said, and left the room, extinguishing the light and closing the door behind her.
Windenburg seemed to me a city of dreams - good neighbors, like heavenly green tabernacles, opportunities to earn a living. I involuntarily remembered the grim Fredrickson - I just now gave importance to how he barely noticeably flinched when he spoke of the Fourth Universe. While everything that happens seems to me ideal. So what did Frederickson mean when he said that I can be shocked by what I see here? ..

Mirra@Alex: "Hey Mr. Flygon, Alex wasn't it? Hello! Was wondering...what do you think of Alex? You guys are pretty close, aren't you? How close would you say?" She asked quietly
Alex: “We’ve been friends since we were kids and he’s always been there for me…I would say we are as close as we could possibly be!”

51 artworks have been shortlisted out of a record-breaking 919 entries for Australia’s most prestigious portraiture competition, the 2019 Archibald Prize. The annual accolade celebrates paintings of notable figures that reflect Australian culture across areas including art, media, entertainment, politics, sports and more.
First established in 1921, the Prize takes its namesake from the founding editor of The Bulletin magazine (an Australian politics and business periodical that remained in circulation for 128 years!), Jules Francois Archibald, who was a passionate supporter of Australian journalism and the arts.
The subjects of this year’s shortlisted paintings include Afghan-born Australian lawyer and writer Mariam Veiszadeh by Angus McDonald with a breathtaking modern take of Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring; a wonderfully playful multi-limbed self-portrait by Sydney-based artist Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran; a simultaneously soft and strong portrayal of beloved author, journalist and LGBTQI activist Benjamin Law by Keith Burt; and a hyper-realistic depiction of respected elder of the Warakurna community and Ngaanyatjarra people of Western Australia, Daisy Tjuparntarri Ward, by David Darcy.
28-year old Western Australian artist Tessa MacKay has taken out the 2019 Archibald Packing Room Prize for her captivating portrait of actor David Wenham, who sits in the window of a cafe, contemplating the world beyond.
Following tradition, the Art Gallery of New South Wales head packer Brett Cuthbertson and his packing room team awarded the prize. ‘I love the reflection of the glass and that David’s in a reflective mood too. We blokes have a lot to think about these days!’, Cuthbertson said!
‘Sydney had to be part of David’s portrait, but I wanted to nestle David within a figurative essence of Sydney,’ Tessa said, ‘Painting the streetscape reflections merging into the cafe interior meant that I could depict Sydney in a more interesting and playful way and it gave me the space to capture a multi-layered and complex urban world.’
Archibald finalists along with shortlisted works for the Wynne and Sulman prizes will be exhibited at the Art Gallery of NSW from May 11th – September 8th, and winners will be announced on Friday, May 10th. Stay tuned!

What's up friends, thank you for visiting our online site. Now we've been wonderfully content to demonstrate this new program called Age of Empires IV Keygen. Do you got sought for cd key generator for Age of Empires IV with no targeted effects? Never the less is not in my website. And so we are content to show you our own recent product generator. Age of Empires IV free keys is without Post Scriptum Download a doubt accessible to receive at present. That serial code is truly a absolutely new system simply enable you to make brand new serial key. It is probably the most liked game on the internet plus all people wants to play this. Majority users aren't able to manage to pay for it and that is certainly why our group decide to share with you.
It is the first game in the McRae series since McRae's death in 2007. It was announced on 19 November 2008 and features Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Tanner Foust, and Dave Mirra. The game includes many new race-events, including stadium events. Along with the player, an RV travels from one event to another, and serves as "headquarters" for the player. It features a roster of contemporary off-road events, taking players to diverse and challenging Post Scriptum Download real-world environments. The game takes place across four continents: Asia, Europe, Africa and North America. The game includes five different event types: Rally, Rallycross, "Trailblazer", "Land Rush" and "Raid". The World Tour mode sees players competing in multi-car and solo races at new locations, and also includes a new multiplayer mode.
A huge Fallout: New Vegas modification - Fallout: New California - has just debuted in open BETA. Featuring over 30 hours of quest- and dialogue-filled gameplay, it has been praised by many as the true New Vegas successor - a full Post Scriptum Download-blown RPG experience that shares close to nothing with the MMO-ish Fallout 76. And to try it out, you do not need any caps at all.
At further comments from several people I was also accused of being a colonizer and someone who "changes the official Catechism of the Catholic Church". This turn of events was greatly puzzling. I requested time from CCoG secretary Vangie Lujan, who moderated the meeting, to respond to these new charges based on personal attack. We all know the parliamentary rules, called Post Scriptum Download Robert's Rules, that grant an opportunity of rebuttal for personal attack. First, she wanted to allow me to respond but a quick hand sign was given, this time by Mr. Perez, indicating that my request should be denied. I could see this very well. It was a true shame that Robert's Rule was replaced by the Bully's Rule, despite the good intention of the moderator.
In general, it takes at least six to eight weeks from the deadline of submission to receive peer review report. However, we do not rush our reviewers. Our esteemed peers are also engaged with their primary responsibilities at their respective institutions. It should Post Scriptum Download be noted that the journal cannot take into consideration an author's personal research or academic career deadlines. We do not have anything called express publication.

Odisseia Infinita
Você pode me ajudar?" "Ainda estamos presos... "Eles quem? "Vocês entenderão no momento certo. Obrigado, Melissa." - Mas eu não fiz nada! Quem são essas pessoas que você mencionou? E onde... - Mel! - quis Melissa saber ainda. - Nós não perdemos a Ulysses... Pelo menos ainda não, dissera William. - Não estou entendendo mais nada, resignou-se Melissa. - É o plano maluco do Suno, declarou Taliseu. - Mas que plano? - Apenas me leia, Melissa, sugeriu Suno e ela o fez. Então: - Oh, meu Deus! - exclamou ela. - retrucou Taliseu. To'omar foi o último. Tentava ficar confortável entre To'omar e Melissa. - Graças a Ares! Pensei que ele ia me achar e me matar antes que vocês chegassem aqui! - O professor Arthur tentou matar você? - perguntou Melissa espantada. Ela assentiu. - Muito bem, o resto comigo... To'omar... - perguntou Liz.

2 Y los soldados entretejieron una corona de espinas, y la pusieron sobre su cabeza, y le vistieron con un manto de púrpura;
Entonces dijo a los judíos: !!He aquí vuestro Rey!
17 Y él, cargando su cruz, salió al lugar llamado de la Calavera, y en hebreo, Gólgota;
22 Respondió Pilato: Lo que he escrito, he escrito.
27 Después dijo al discípulo: He ahí tu madre.
11 Pero María estaba fuera llorando junto al sepulcro; y mientras lloraba, se inclinó para mirar dentro del sepulcro;
¿A quién buscas?
27 Luego dijo a Tomás: Pon aquí tu dedo, y mira mis manos; y acerca tu mano, y métela en mi costado; y no seas incrédulo, sino creyente.

Hi, Nama saya Acotsca pratama.
