Tari was utterly captivated, she could do what she was made to do with no restrictions, no suit breathing down her neck.

“But don’t take it from me, take it from the Butcher of Melbourne himself, Masa Shimamoto!”

Tari’s eyes widened, silently fangirling as the man walked onto screen. Red eyes, messy black hair, metallic arm implant with the TASCorp logo scratched off. It was the real deal!

Tari had idolised the man, one of the most prolific hitmen, someone who worked in the top of TASCorp’s deathsquads! Someone any Hitperson that took themselves even a little seriously strived to be.

“Yes, it’s the real me,” Masa chuckled. “After my resignation from TASCorp, I needed a new way to keep doing what I loved most. That’s why I started my own deathsquad. Here at MD-5, we care about the individuals we work under,”

A man with dark skin and braids appeared, aiming a sniper rifle from the top of a tower with a smile on his face.

Tari nodded, leaning on the table; completely still.

The blonde woman continued to read and read. “Eh, fuck it… I’ll give you a tour and let you in,” She chuckled. “You’ll wanna log on the MyWork app to see your hours n’ jobs,”

Tari nodded as the woman left the desk, and began to walk from the lobby into a hallway behind it.

“By the way, I’m Sofia Porter. Used to work for TASCorp, they fucked the lot of us over too,” Sofia slapped Tari on the back, the blue haired woman having zero reaction.

Sofia paused for a moment as she lead Tari past small amounts of people wielding cheap guns.

“Dicks, she seems chill… more sane than you at least,” Black dude chuckled causing Sofia to pout.

“You want Masa to hire her, huh?” Lucinia smiled smugly.

Sofia nodded energetically, enough to cause severe, severe whiplash. “And best of all, she still has a soul! You’ve gotta be like… a super bro to work for 5 years and not die once!”

Masa looked deep in thought, looking between Tari and the members of his team. “I suppose, we could trial you as an unpaid intern first off,” He straightened her tie.

“Laaaaame,” Sofia pouted. “But better than not getting the job at all,”

“Yes,” Masa smirked briefly before returning to his neutral face. “Lamar, introduce her to the company,”

Black weeb dude, who was Lamar now apparently walked over to Tari. “That’s Sofia, head of advertising, and explosive slash mechanical expert.” He pointed to Sofia, who gladly waved in response.

“That’s Lucinia, Medic and head of Human Resources. If anybody touches or talks to you in a way that makes you uncomfortable just tell her,”

“Glad to have another body to work with,” Lucinia snickered, covering her hand with her mouth.

There isn’t great cell service out there; you need a solid plan and backups. Any 10-14 hour drive can easily become much longer if you run into roadwork, movement of massive construction vehicles on rural 2 lane highways and roads, car accidents, etc.

And with flying? Delays and general travel fuckery can be insane. A flight from Los Angeles to Sydney should only take about 14 hours, but I’ve been on a few that took 19.5 hours for an assortment of reasons. Having a plan and being able to not kill each other with stress and being together in close proximity that long is a necessity. Connecting international flights? a nightmare and also a reality. Biosecurity here? Very important and has rules that you must follow and can be very complicated. Illness on long flights? Another nightmare. You get it all.

Australia has the unique situation of possessing a landmass not dissimilar in size to the United States, with less than a 10th of the population. The middle of butt-fucking-nowhere is a major reality here; 385 kilometres to the next place you can access petrol/gas or supplies is a thing; the longest straight road in the world that only curves to the curvature of the earth is a thing that goes straight through the desert. This is diverging from my main point now, but if you’re not familiar with distances in kilometres and Australian geography and wish to visit Australia, please if at all possible, consult an Australian about your travel plans, because the amount of times I’ve heard someone (American and European!) assert that they’re going to drive from Cairns to Alice Springs for a day trip is insane (btw, it’s not doable. It’s a 25 hour drive). To generalise: Europeans usually don’t perceive the time it takes to travel the distance because they have no frame of reference for that level of distance; Americans usually don’t understand how far things in the same state or just one state over can still be. Australians have a better idea of how far things are apart and the time it takes to get from to and fro, and what is realistic to plan for travel in terms of moving between locations.

The moral of the story is to do proper research before you go travelling in places like Australia; and make sure that you’re travelling with someone that you can tolerate being in small confined spaces with for long days, without killing each other, while also being able to solve problems and help each other out. It’s an essential life skill.

You shouldn’t date or become serious friends/partners with someone if you can’t stomach the thought of being stuck in a car or train with them for 16 hours.

Would you like to wear a one-piece or a two-piece outfit? 

Do you want to add stockings and heels? 

Or perhaps you have some props you would like to bring along?

 It’s also perfectly fine if you’re considering a nude shoot. 

However, keep in mind that you may need to try on lingerie in-store to determine what you truly like. It’s essential to feel comfortable in your clothing, as this will translate to your confidence in front of the camera. 

I recommend shopping in-store over online shopping so you can try on your outfits and ensure they fit well and feel comfortable. If you choose to wear heels, make sure they are clean and in good condition. The bottoms should be clean, and the heel should not be worn out.

5 – PREPPING YOUR SKIN

Next up, let’s talk about prepping your skin for your boudoir session. 

If you plan on using fake tan, it’s essential to exfoliate not just before the application but also during the week leading up to it. 

This will help ensure your skin is healthy and smooth, allowing for a better application. Similarly, good skin prep is crucial for achieving flawless makeup.

6 – NAILS

Moving on to your nails, while there’s no need to have them professionally done, it’s important to keep them clean and neatly trimmed. 

Chipped polish can be distracting in photos, but if you’re not comfortable with painted nails, that’s totally okay! 

The most important thing is to stay true to yourself.

6 – PROPS AND OUTFITS

On the day of your shoot, make sure to pack all the outfits, props, and other items you plan on bringing along. 

Don’t forget a water bottle and something comfortable to wear while getting your hair and makeup done.
