Moon in Virgo Opposition Jupiter in Pisces
Moon in Virgo Opposition Jupiter in Pisces
Moon in Virgo opposition Jupiter in Pisces can bring those moments of what is healthy or unhealthy in our experience through Mercury words that we hear concerning certain terms in the Spiritual Community. Karmic Reading for example sends a message I have a karmic message to share with you, through my words and you will hear negative words about my own wounded perception of the person with…

Cosmic Events: September 2022
Exexutive summary: so much retrograde. The only thingies that aren’t in some phase of their Retrograde Zones, are the Sun and Moon (of course), Venus, and Ceres!
Lunar Phases
Saturday, September 3, 18:08 UT - First Quarter Moon, 11°14’ Sagittarius
Wednesday, September 7, 02:50 UT - Gibbous Moon, 29°29’ Capricorn

Thursday, September 22, 00:33 UT - Balsamic Moon, 14°01’ Leo
Sunday, September 25, 21:55 UT - New Moon, 2°49’ Libra
This lunation happens about three days after the Libra Equinox. It features a tightened-up Cardinal grand cross: the Sun and Moon oppose Jupiter, and both ends of the oppositon square Pallas Athene/Cancer and the Centaur Pholus/Capricorn. Some problem (overextension?), that we know is a problem but haven’t yet addressed - needs to be dealt with. Besides taking on more than we can do, we may have some political issues to navigate. (I don’t mean like voting, more like the every-day kinds of negotiation and diplomacy.)

Saturday, September 10, 20:56 UT - Sunday, September 11, 06:47 UT. “Use this time for artistic activities, mind expansion, and helping others, with Mercury just turning retrograde.”
Thursday, September 15, 00:30 UT - 20:16 UT. “Very practical and productive time for ongoing projects.”
Tuesday, September 20, 12:58 UT - 20:38 UT. “Use this purifying Moon-in-Cancer OP to cleanse body and soul during the Last Quarter.”
Thursday, September 29, 08:57 UT - 21:50 UT. “Mercury is retrograde, so use this time to review and edit projects you’ve already started.”
Et Cetera
The exact moment of the Libra Equinox on September 22, occurs during a void of course Moon (“nothing will come of the matter”). I hate when that happens. The Moon is conjunct the Lady Asteroid Ceres, though - maturing an hour and a half after the “moment” of the equinox. Technically, since Ceres isn’t one of the ten “traditional” planets, aspects made to her don’t “count,” when we’re calculating void Moons.
October will have rewards for us, provided we do the necessary work in September.

The Week Ahead: July 25-31, 2022
Lunar Phase
Thursday, July 28, 17:55 UT - New Moon, 5°39’ Leo
The key phrase for the New Moon is to “set a new intention” - nothing grandiose, just something you can pull off in a month’s time! Many astrologers have been extolling this particular lunation, as it’s trine Jupiter. But, Jupiter stations retrograde not quite three hours after the lunation. I honestly don’t think we can depend on stereotypical Jovian good luck, and if we succumb to stereotypical Jovian over-extension it will not end well for us. I think we need to be smart and strategic - pick our battles - and try harder to set good examples.
Void of Course Moon
Monday, July 25, 08:14 UT (Gemini) - 17:54 UT (Cancer)
Thursday, July 28, 00:54 UT (Cancer) - 06:36 UT (Leo)
Saturday, July 30, 04:29 UT (Leo) - 18:11 UT (Virgo)
Retrograde/Direct/Etc.
Pre-retrograde shadow: Juno/Pisces (until Monday the 25th), Jupiter/Aries (until Thursday the 28th)
Retrograde: Juno/Pisces starting Monday the 25th), Vesta/Pisces, Jupiter/Aries (starting Thursday the 28th), Saturn/Aquarius, Chiron/Aries, Neptune/Pisces, Pluto/Capricorn, Eris/Aries
Post-retrograde shadow: nothing until October 2
Transiting Juno stations retrograde on Monday, July 25, 06:50 UT, at 21°31’ Pisces. Relationship matters go internal; we need to take the time and the trouble to sort out and discard any delusions we harbor.
Transiting Jupiter stations retrograde on Thursday, July 28, 20:37 UT, at 8°43’ Aries. We need to be more self-reliant now.
Et Cetera
There is one Opportunity Period this week, on Thursday, July 28, from 17:25 UT to 18:25 UT - one half hour before and after the Leo New Moon. “If you have soemething important to start around now, this is a great time to do it.”
The main story this week is the build-up to next week’s triple conjunction of Mars, Uranus, and the North Node in Taurus. It’s tightening up all week - and remember too that there is also an oppositon from all three to the Scorpio South Node. Although Uranus-Nodes is exact this Tuesday, Mars doesn’t join them until Monday, August 1.
What “it” is going to be, is anybody’s guess. Some astrologers think it may be related to the climate catastrophe; others, to “war and rumors of war.” I’m leaning toward the environment, myself.
But I did a little research, looking for Uranus-Node interaction the last two times Uranus was in the sign of the Bull. In early January 1939, Uranus was in Taurus conjunct the South Node (and the Lady Asteroid Ceres); Mars was in Scorpio conjunct the North Node. There apparently wasn’t any Major Event to mark this. Later that year, though, the “Dust Bowl” droughts ended, and World War II began.
And in late March and early April 1855, Uranus/Taurus was conjunct the North Node. In the US, elections were held in Kansas Territory (not yet a state), but with “Border Ruffians” from Missouri coming in to ensure a pro-slavery government.
Anyone else got any ideas?
