Ok, I’m tired of angst. Here’s a silly headcanon I got:

One reason why Snufkin leaves in winter is because he knows he cannot win hide and seek against Moomin with all that snow, and it bothers him.

The other months? Snufkin is dressed in green, his hair is brown… he has the upper hand 90% of the time. But in winter???

Oh, in winter… poor guy sticks out like a lily in a pond. There’s no way he can hide, and there’s no way he can find Moomin easily.

Unless of course, the big marshmallow giggles so much Snufkin can hear him. Or maybe, Moomin makes noises to give him hints, because he feels bad.

How long do witches live?

If we take the theory that Clarissa is about the same age as Moominpappa, then either Papa is so well preserved, or witches age faster than Mummies.

It always seemed to me that witches live longer, but if we stick to this theory, it seems that witches don't live as long. Then there's no question why Clarissa is in such a hurry to teach Alicia everything.

Unfortunately, I did not participate in yesterday's discussion in the comments. I was very tired, but I read everything and love all of it.💚

In general, I took some from each of them and made on my own version. It seems to me that mumriks live about the same as dwarves for 300-400 years. But there are about as many witches and small animals as there are in our lives. From 20 to 100 years old, depending on the type of animal
