Dolce Hera - Repeat
Repeat brings a nice, chilled out, relaxed vibe to Montesong. It's smooth, it's easy to listen to, it's got a jazzy saxophone solo...
Honestly, I can't say anything more than that. The song is quite one note, no build or key change, nothing that makes it stand out at all. Remove the vocals and you've got some bland, inoffensive elevator or hold music.
I'm going to refine my first listen rating down to a 5/10. It's not bad, but I've got a lot of songs I like more than this. It just doesn't leave enough of an impact to warrant a score more drastic in either direction I'm afraid.

Encabeza la noticia Andrea Demirovic y "Just get out of my life", su participación en 2009 donde no pudo clasificarse en la final.

Eurovision Fact #734:
Montenegro will be participating in Eurovision in 2025. The nation will be using a new format called Montesong to pick their contestant. Those seeking to enter must hold a Montenegrin citizenship.
During Montesong, an internal committee will select 16 songs to participate, but if none of the submitted songs meet a pre -established quality threshold, the song will be selected internally.
However, if an internal selection is not required, the winner will be selected via a vote by the jury and the public, each holding a 50% stake in the vote.

Bend 9 - Stop War
Well, no one can say they didn't get straight to the point! The first political statement of the 2025 season didn't take long to arrive.
It divided me on my first listen, and it still divides me! At times the song feels like a vibe, at other times it just feels like an overwhelming mess of noise. Someone smarter than me would probably argue that it's a metaphor, but unfortunately I'm not a smart person. Instead, I'm an autistic woman who's easily overwhelmed and the overlapping sirens and instruments make for a unpleasant listen.
The constant intensity of the song means there's no real room for growth, which leaves it feeling rather one-note throughout. For me, it remains a rather low scorer. I gave it a 4/10 on my first listen - though considered a 5/10. I think I'm now much more convinced on the 4/10 rating.

Anastasija Koprolčec - Kraj
From my first listen notes, I've written that this ballad is beautiful and elegant with a slow build - and it's definitely a slow build! The song is 2:56 long and the crescendo kicks in around 2:08 with that all important Eurovision cliche: the key change!
It's a very enjoyable song, and holds up on repeat listens. The build and dramatic ending makes it memorable enough for those that are only going to be exposed to it once before voting in Monte Song.
On my first listen, I gave this an 8/10. This is the first song from Monte Song I listened to and having now listened to them all, I would still rate it similarly. Maybe a 7.5 if we're getting technical, just to help differentiate it from the other songs I've rated highly... It'll be interesting to see how it's staged, and if her live vocals are able to deliver.
