In many ways, I wish I could have had a blind read.
But honestly? I'm not sure I'd have stuck with a fully 100% blind read. Knowing there was good (or at least, compelling) stuff coming is what's kept me going.
But one thing that's interesting about coming in so not blind is seeing the bits of the story that never made it into any summaries, you never see metas about and don't show up in any fanfics.
Like this whole "Dragon attacks the Undersiders and Travelers with specialized robots' schtick. And the consequent counter attack.

Seven different Dragons, all at once! She's finally free! I don't have to go dig up her father out of the North Atlantic, resurrect him, and then kill him again!
As for the timing, sure, it's probably just bad luck and good planning... but according to Tattletale a long time ago, there is one person capable of reading minds, and she doesn't have to be in Brockton Bay to do it. Is it likely the Simurgh is involved here? No. But it's possible. More likely Cauldron could be involved, given their connections with both Coil and the PRT.

Paradise Lost
Adam was driven from Eden, and the angels who, before his transgression, had been appointed to guard him in his Eden home, were now appointed to guard the gates of paradise and the way of the tree of life, lest he should return, gain access to the tree of life, and sin be immortalized. Con 15.2
Sin drove man from paradise; and sin was the cause of the removal of paradise from the earth. In consequence of transgression of God’s law, Adam lost paradise. In obedience to the Father’s law, and through faith in the atoning blood of His Son, paradise may be regained.“Repentance toward God,” because His law has been transgressed, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ, as man’s only Redeemer, will be acceptable with God. Notwithstanding man’s sinfulness, the merits of God’s dear Son in his behalf will avail with the Father. Con 15.3
Satan was determined to succeed in his temptation of the sinless Adam and Eve. And he could reach even this holy pair more successfully through the medium of appetite than in any other way. The fruit of the forbidden tree seemed pleasant to the eye and desirable to the taste. They ate and fell. They transgressed God’s just command and became sinners. Satan’s triumph was complete. He then had the vantage ground over the race. He flattered himself that, through his subtlety, he had thwarted the purpose of God in the creation of man. Con 15.4
Satan made his exulting boasts to Christ and to loyal angels that he had succeeded in gaining a portion of the angels in heaven to unite with him in his daring rebellion; and now that he had succeeded in overcoming Adam and Eve, he claimed that their Eden home was his. He proudly boasted that the world which God had made was his dominion; that having conquered Adam, the monarch of the world, he had gained the race as his subjects, and should now possess Eden, making that his headquarters, and would there establish his throne and be monarch of the world. Con 16.1
But measures were immediately taken in heaven to defeat Satan in his plans. Strong angels, with beams of light like flaming swords turning in every direction, were placed as sentinels to guard the way of the tree of life from the approach of Satan and the guilty pair. Adam and Eve had forfeited all right to their beautiful Eden home, and were now expelled from it. The earth was cursed because of Adam’s sin, and was ever after to bring forth briers and thorns. While he lived, Adam was to be exposed to the temptations of Satan and was finally to pass through death to dust again. Con 16.2

Horror as thousands of people claim the Queen could die in January - Express
New Post has been published on https://harryandmeghan.xyz/horror-as-thousands-of-people-claim-the-queen-could-die-in-january-express/
Horror as thousands of people claim the Queen could die in January - Express
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The shock claim was made on online message board Reddit – with the original message and the user’s personal account now mysteriously deleted. The original post was first uploaded by a Reddit user called Beefy_Cabbage on 27 December – gaining over 50,000 ‘upvotes’, indicating approval, and 7,000 comments. The rumour has since spread like wildfire, with Buckingham Palace responding by refusing to comment on the shock claims. Other Reddit users said the post was either a “creepy prediction” for the Queen’s death – or a mistake which has sparked a M15 response.
One user said: “This is one of those posts that’s going to be a part of a YouTube video called “creepy unexplainable reddit posts.”
Another wrote: “Imagine if The Queen gets on reddit and sees this”.
A third said said: “Plot twist, this is the queen’s alt account and she’s orchestrating all of this to fake her death and pass on the throne.”
One user even broke down the mathematical likelihood of the Queen dying yesterday, as predicted in the original post.
They said: “Elizabeth II is currently 92 years old. Via this website , the odds for a 92-year-old woman to die within the next year of her life is 16.06% (which will be rounded up to 16.1% for simplification). Dividing this probability evenly among all 365 days of the year (which is not how it works, but it’s all that we have to go off of), each day of her 92nd year, the Queen has about a 0.04411% chance of dying on any given day.
“Now, in order to fulfill beefy_cabbage ‘s legendary prediction, the Queen would need to NOT die before January 5th, and then die on that day. There are 9 days before the 5th (27th-4th), so the probability ends up being:
“(100%-0.04411%) * 0.04411% (the first term representing the nine days she would survive and the second term representing the day she would die).
“By this expression, the Queen has a 0.04393% chance of dying on January 5th, 2019. This is about a 1 in 2276 chance. So it’s pretty unlikely (but definitely still within the realm of possibility!) that she’ll die then. God Save the Queen.”
The Queen has taken an active role in the Royal Family, and is officially the longest reigning monarch in British history.
There have been no offical reports on the Queen’s ill health and the energetic monarch continues to pack on her agenda with numerous royal events.
Her Majesty has taken on more engagements in 2018 than in 2017, increasing her workload up to 25 percent.
However, the Queen underwent eye surgery in May to remove a cataract, before attending Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.
In addition, a Kensington Palace source previously told the Sun how the Queen’s knees were hurting her while she attended the Chelsea Flower Show in May this year.
They said: “She was talking to friends at the Chelsea Flower Show and said her knees were playing up.
“But she is reluctant to have an operation due to the time it would take to recover. She is incredibly brave. People from her and Philip’s generation battle through problems and carry on. And Her Majesty doesn’t like to cause any fuss.”
There have been no official Palace reports on the Queen’s long-term health.

2 great growth stocks I’d buy right now
I have been a big fan of Scapa Group (LSE: SCPA) for a long time now.
First things first, I am hugely impressed at the rate at which its long-running self help strategy continues to bolster margins, achieved through a combination of contract execution and rigorous cost-cutting. At its Healthcare division, margins rose 1.9% between April and September, to 16.1% while, at Industrial, margins improved 2.2% to 11.5%.
Secondly, I like Scapa’s broad geographic footprint which provides terrific protection against macroeconomic turbulence in one or two regions.
And thirdly, I am encouraged by the tape manufacturer’s terrific progress in the defensive healthcare sector. Sales at Scapa’s Healthcare unit leapt 7.9% during the first fiscal half, to £57.7m, and it signed contracts with three major OEMs in the period.
Stuck on you
Now Scapa has a great record of doling out double-digit earnings growth, the business having seen the bottom line swell at a compound annual growth rate of 21.9% over the past five years. And City analysts believe there’s much more of where that came from.
For the year to March 2018, forecasts point to a 16% profits improvement and, in fiscal 2019, another 11% advance is predicted.
Meanwhile, expectations of extra heady earnings growth is expected to keep Scapa’s ultra-progressive dividend policy going. The Manchester firm lifted the dividend 14.3% in the last year to 2p per share, and additional meaty increases — to 2.3p and 2.6p in fiscal 2018 and 2019 respectively — are currently being anticipated.
These payouts yield 0.5% and 0.6% respectively, but such low readings would not discourage me given the possibility of Scapa becoming a lucrative income generator in the years ahead.
In my opinion Scapa is a top quality growth stock fully worth a premium P/E ratio of 25.5 times.
Flying high
I also like the investment outlook for Wizz Air (LSE: WIZZ).
The Hungarian business is a major player in the low-cost travel market, a segment that continues to grow at a stratospheric rate. And to cotton onto this rosy backdrop Wizz Air, like many of its rivals, is rapidly expanding.
Having snapped up two slots at London Luton from the collapsed Monarch Airlines in November, it announced it would station an extra two planes at the airport in a move that would bolster its capacity at the base by 18%, to 7.1m slots, in 2018. Wizz Air has big plans for its British base and it also announced three new routes (to Keflavik, Bari and Athens) from there just last week.
So City analysts are expecting earnings at the FTSE 250 flyer to rise 25% in the year to March 2018, and to increase 18% in the following period.
And these forecasts make Wizz Air a brilliant value pick. A forward P/E ratio of 17.8 times may not appear that compelling, although a corresponding PEG multiple of 0.7 really is.
Considering its exciting growth strategy and its exposure to the lucrative emerging markets of Central and Eastern Europe, I reckon Wizz Air is a steal at current prices.
Start 2018 with a bang with this great growth stock
But Wizz Air and Scapa are just a couple of the London-listed heroes you can buy today and live off in the years to come.
Indeed, the Motley Fool's army of analysts has toiled to write this special Fool report which picks out a brilliant FTSE 250 stock that has already delivered stunning shareholder returns, and whose sales are expected to balloon in the next few years.
