Saw a random photo of chinchillas and it hit me immediately for the first time like a thunderbolt!

My appreciation for the way Director Kornprom Niyomsil created #MySchoolPresident as a love letter not just to BL fandom in general, but to Asian fujoshis in particular, just keeps climbing for the way it stands out as a monument to solidarity between women and queer men #RabbitGod

When my tears stop clouding my vision I‘ll do a thread on this brand new solo director who used his respect for Asian women, his embrace of women’s culture and a deep appreciation for the value of women’s innovation, to create pathbreaking art #RabitGod

This creative team loves and respects BL as an art as well as the people who innovated and continue to drive creation of its outputs and it’s clear they have high regard for the fans whose labours of love keep the BL industry growing from strength to strength, as a place of hope and refuge for women, queer men, trans and nonbinary people as fans

ChinZhilla Baby is also the affectionate name Tinn gives to his sweetheart Gun, because the writers and Director have done their BL homework, that’s why an icon to male-male love across Asia is a prominent motif running through My School President.

The ChinZhilla Rabbit God tribute is only one of several witty meta narratives woven through MSP’s clever and politically astute screenplay. The creators even dedicated the fandom name #MOMMYZHILLA to Fujoshis

happy holidays guys!!! The holiday break here is a LOT longer than a lot of other places because it’s summer rn, so I’ve already been spending the last week kinda just chilling (the air con has been a life-saver, we’re in a heat wave right now) and watching YouTube and various BLs, and on Christmas Day my siblings and I are heading to my grandparents’ house to hang out with our cousins which will be fun! Our cousins live at the top of the country, so we don’t get to see them very often :)

(fun fact: I joined the bl fandom about this time last year! I first watched bad buddy in June, but I didn’t join the fandom spaces until msp, which was an entire year ago and that’s crazy to think about but I’m so glad I’m here, I like you guys ^D^)

ok so there's actually a story behind the last song i listend to: earlier i was revising some stuff we did in my thai class before christmas (bc our new course is starting tomorrow) and one of the words was "earthquake" and i saw the thai word written down in my notes and somehow i heard the word as a melody in my brain?? instead of my normal reading voice?? and so i went to look up the song and sure enough the word is there

actually i heard the melody of the word "earthquake" from this song in somebody's very specific voice and i wish i could say that you can win a prize if you're able to pinpoint who and where exactly i got this song from but alas i don't have a prize, so you'll have to do with my highest admiration lmao . yes i've linked it on my blog before some time in the last few weeks
