How-To Design Car Signs For Your Pool Company
If you use a fleet vehicle as part of your business, take advantage of the mobile advertising opportunity. Use car signs to grab customers' attention and build an easily-recognizable brand for your business. As your company vehicles travel between locations they have remarkable exposure, and if you're on the road anyway, why not capitalize on it? Car signage builds trust with your clientele and creates a professional and polished business identity.
Pool companies usually have a fleet of work vans and trucks that employees use to transport products. Adding business signage to these vehicles is a great decision. Although they are work vehicles and sometimes face harsh conditions, car signs are designed for outdoor use, and displaying your company's name helps customers quickly identify your vehicles. Before you start designing your sign, decide where you want place your signage and the size you need. Measure your vehicle to determine the correct size.
roll-ups Svendborg
Knowing what size you will be ordering will be very helpful when designing your sign. The most-effective tactic for pool company advertising is to show off the great work and expertise of the business. Take professional photographs of the backyard oasis you helped to create, the designer pool you installed, or the sparkling and refreshing water that is crystal clear. You can use these images in your car sign advertising as well as on your website and print advertising.
In terms of color scheme, accents your business logo and brand colors. Blue is a popular color for pool companies as a representation of the crystal blue water, but add-in other colors to make your signage unique. Highlight your services, business name, and contact information with a contrasting color like bright red, white or black. The goal to creating a readable sign is to use contrasting colors to help your text stand out.
It's not hard to find a sign material that fits your needs. Car decals can withstand outdoor exposure and are your best option for long-lasting vehicle signage. They are a great choice for full-size van panels. You can also add car window decals using to your rear windows one-way vision vinyl for a full-color advertisement that is see-through from the inside. These products are more visually-interesting and increase your marketing reach. If you are looking to advertise on personal trucks, car magnets are easily-removable and offer a very professional look.
To grow your business and increase your market, it's crucial to convey your expertise and build your brand. Car signs are an inexpensive and easy way to promote your business effectively. Your work is worth talking about, so use that as the focus of your car signs and you'll quickly see results.

Are you seeking innovative and effective ways to reach your target audience through advertising? With the growing prevalence of mobile and in-hand technology, businesses are exploring new forms of advertising, including AR in-hand advertising. In this article, we will compare Mobile Digital Billboard Truck Advertising with AR Advertising to determine which approach is more effective for reaching your target audience.
Advertising is essential for the success of any business strategy. After the COVID-19 pandemic, AR advertising is now considered a better option than Mobile Digital Billboard Truck Advertising.
Mobile digital billboard truck advertising involves placing a billboard on a truck and driving it around to different locations to advertise a product or service. This form of advertising is highly visible and can reach a large audience in a short amount of time. The billboards are typically bright, colorful, and eye-catching, making them hard to miss. The ability to display dynamic content such as videos and animations makes them highly effective in attracting the attention of viewers. This feature can enhance the overall impact of advertising campaigns.
Disadvantages of Mobile Digital Billboard Truck Advertising
One of the disadvantages of mobile digital billboard truck advertising is that it can be difficult to measure its effectiveness. Unlike online advertising, which provides detailed analytics on impressions, clicks, and conversions, it can be challenging to determine how many people have seen a mobile billboard truck advertisement. Additionally, the effectiveness of digital billboard truck advertising can be impacted by weather conditions and traffic.
AR Advertising
AR advertising is a newer form of advertising that utilizes augmented reality technology to engage viewers. It involves placing a virtual advertisement in the physical world through a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. When the viewer points their device at the designated area, the virtual advertisement appears on the screen, blending seamlessly with the real world. This form of advertising is highly interactive and can create a unique and immersive experience for viewers.
Advantages of AR Advertising
One of the main advantages of AR advertising is its interactivity. It allows viewers to engage with the advertisement in a way that is not possible with other forms of advertising. Additionally, AR advertising can provide detailed analytics on impressions, clicks. and conversions. This makes it easier for businesses to measure its effectiveness. Another advantage of AR in-hand advertising is that it is not affected by weather or traffic. This is because it can be accessed from anywhere using a mobile device, providing convenience and flexibility to potential customers.
Comparing Mobile Digital Billboard Truck Ads with In-Hand Advertising:
In-hand advertising is a form of advertising where businesses promote their products or services using tangible items that consumers can physically hold. Examples of in-hand advertising include promotional products, such as branded pens, keychains, and t-shirts.
So, how do mobile digital billboard truck ads compare with in-hand advertising? Let’s take a look:
Cost: In-hand advertising is often more cost-effective than mobile billboard truck ads. Promotional products can be purchased in bulk at a lower cost, whereas mobile digital billboard truck ads require more resources, including the cost of the truck, screens, and staff to operate the truck.
Reach: Mobile digital billboard truck ads have a broader reach than in-hand advertising. They can reach a large number of people in a specific area, whereas in-hand advertising is limited to the number of promotional products distributed.
Engagement: In-hand advertising can create a more personal connection with the consumer. Consumers are more likely to engage with a physical item they can hold than a digital ad on a truck.
Recall: In-hand advertising has a higher recall rate than digital billboard truck ads. Consumers are more likely to remember a brand that gave them a tangible item, leading to increased brand awareness and sales.

as of 8/3, the most recently updated version of this post is here (it's a reblog of this exact post with more info added)
as a lot of you know, limbus company recently fired its CG illustrator for being a feminist, at 11 pm, via phone call, after a bunch of misogynists walked into the office earlier that day and demanded she be fired. on top of this, as per korean fans, her firing went against labor laws---in korea, you must have your dismissal in writing.
the korean fandom on twitter is, understandably, going scorched earth on project moon due to this. there's a lot currently going on to protest the decision, so i'm posting a list here of what's going on for those who want to limit their time on elon musk's $44 billion midlife crisis impulse purchase website (if you are on twitter, domuk is a good person to follow, as they translate important updates to english). a lot of the links are in korean, but generally they play nicely with machine translators. this should be current as of 8/2.
Statements condemning the decision have been issued by The Gyeonggi Youth Union and IT Union.
A press conference at the Gyeonggido Assembly will occur on 8/3, with lawmakers of the Gyeonggi province (where Project Moon is based) in attendance. This appears driven by the leader of the Gyeonggi Youth Union.
The vice chairman of the IT union--who has a good amount of experience with labor negotiations like these--has expressed strong support for the artist and is working to get media coverage due to the ongoing feminist witch hunts in the gaming industry. Project Moon isn't union to my knowledge, but he's noted that he's taken on nonunion companies such as Netmarble (largest mobile game dev in South Korea) by getting the issue in front of the National Assembly (Korea's congress).
Articles on the incident published in The Daily Labor News, Korean Daily, multiple articles on Hankyoreh (one of which made it to the print edition), and other news outlets.
Segments about the termination on the MBN 7 o' clock news and MBC's morning news
Comments by Youth Union leaders about looking into a loan made to Project Moon via Devsisters Ventures, a venture capital firm. Tax money from Gyeonggi province was invested in Devsisters in 2017, and in 2021, Devsisters gave money to Project Moon. The Gyeonggi Youth Union is asking why hard-earned tax money was indirectly given to a company who violates ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles.
Almost nonstop signage truck protests outside Project Moon's physical office during business hours until 8/22 or the company makes a statement. This occurs alongside a coordinated hashtag campaign to get the issue trending on Twitter in Korea. The signage campaign was crowd-funded in about 3 hours.
A full boycott of the Limbus Company app, on both mobile and PC (steam) platforms. Overseas fans are highly encouraged to participate, regardless if whether they're F2P or not. Not opening the app at all is arguably the biggest thing any one person can do to protest the decision, as the app logs the number of accounts that log on daily. For a new gacha such as Limbus, a high number of F2P daily active users, but a small number of paying users is often preferable to having a smaller userbase but more paying users. If the company sees the number of daily users remain stable, they will likely decide to wait out any backlash rather than apologize.
Digging up verified reviews from previous employees regarding the company's poor management practices
Due to the firing, the Leviathan artist has posted about poor working conditions when making the story. As per a bilingual speaker, they were working on a storyboard revision, and thought 'if I ran into the street right now and got hit by a car and died, I wouldn't have to keep working.' They contacted Project Moon because they didn't want their work to be like that, and proposed changes to serialization/reduction in amount of work per picture/to build up a buffer of finished images (they did not have any buffer while working on Leviathan to my knowledge). They were shut out, and had to suck it up and accept the situation.
Hamhampangpang has a 'shrine' section of the restaurant for fans to leave fan-created merch and other items. They also allow the fans to take this merch back if they can prove it's theirs. Fans are now doing just that.
To boost all of the above, a large number of Korean fanartists with thousands of followers have deleted their works and/or converted their accounts from fanart accounts to accounts supporting the protests. Many of them are bilingual, and they're where I got the majority of this information.
[note 1: there's a targeted english-language disinformation campaign by the website that started the hate mob. i have read the artist's tweets with machine translation, and they're talked about in the second hankyoreh article linked above: nowhere does she express any transphobic or similarly awful beliefs. likewise, be wary of any claims that she supported anything whose description makes you raise eyebrows--those claims are likely in reference to megalia, a korean feminist movement. for information on that, i'd recommend the NPR/BBC articles below and this google drive link of english-language scholarly papers on them. for the love of god don't get your information about a feminist movement from guys going on witch hunts for feminists.]
[note 2: i've seen a couple people argue that the firing was for the physical safety of the employees, citing the kyoani incident in japan. as per this korean fan, most fans there strongly do not believe this was the case. we have english-translated transcripts of the meeting between the mob and project moon; the threats the mob was making were to......brand project moon as a feminist company online. yes, really. male korean gamers aren't normal about feminism, and there's been an ongoing witch hunt for feminists in the industry since about 2016, something you see noted in both the labor union statements. both NPR and the BBC this phenomenon to gamergate, and i'd say it's a pretty apt comparison.]
let me know if anything needs correction or if anything should be added.
#project moon#limbus company#obligatory text post tag#that's all i've got for now. highly encourage y'all to not open limbus until they make a statement

INTRODUCING... MY DRONESONA/OC, SCRAP
Scrap is a unique type of drone, a Collector Drone. Collector drones are a byproduct of worker drones, built with a few differences to be more efficient at their primary tasks. They are slightly smaller and more compact, but much heavier and hardy. These drones were built to be able to hold extremely heavy loads, much more than your average worker drone. They can also endure much harsher conditions, and are overall a bit more resilient.
They were often tasked with "collecting" things, hence the name. Trash, scrap material, valuables, minerals, etc etc. Primarily, they were used to mine the planets, collecting and transporting materials they gathered. They are equipped with an extra pair of arms, that are removable and replaceable via a port on their sides just below their primary arms. As well as ANOTHER pair of ports just on their backside for a third pair of appendages if they're ever seen fit to use it.
Their second pair can be swapped for extensions that help with their tasks (eg, clawed hands for digging) and are often equipped with tools under the last cap of their finger joints, such as screw drivers, a drill, tape measure, etc as they were often also used to help at construction as they were excellent for carrying heavy materials where trucks and other vehicles couldn't reach.
Unfortunately, because of their heavy machinery, upkeep and maintenance was very important but oftentimes difficult to provide. Because of this, not many were built in the first place, so when the core exploded on copper-9, most of them were destroyed or permanently powered down. Scrap, being kept below the surface in a bunker for repair on damages, had been very jostled but managed to reboot with a big chunk of memory loss and now faulty code that went awry.
This caused a malfunction in their tasks, so she now collects anything perceived as dead. She wanders copper-9 digging through corpse piles of drones and humans alike, scavaging for anything interesting and looking for history as she explores the dead planet.
The backside port allows the third pair of appendages to slide up and down for added mobility!!
Also featuring @kalpeavaris 's drone OC, bishop hehe >:3

—
Sue was so fucking right. It had only been one week of freedom, and then the workload came crashing down on you. Suddenly, every class had a welcome test attached to it, and you found yourself buried under a mountain of homework—chemical equations to solve and analyse, essays, books to read, lab practice, and lectures to attend. There wasn’t any snowball effect; it all hit at once, and by the time you and Sue returned on the first Monday of the second week, you were carrying enough work to fill two mules, and it would still have been too heavy even for them.
“Your mum is calling,” Sue’s voice pulled you out of a particularly boring passage about physical chemistry in one of your shared workbooks. You would usually put your phones on the cabinet for study time, but the vibration had startled Sue for the third time in ten minutes, so she decided to address it.
“Ugh, can you put her on speaker? I’ll deal with this quickly, and I don’t want to move,” you rolled your eyes, catching Sue’s judgmental glare. She’s your mum!
“Kochanie, finally! I’ve been trying and trying, how are you doing?” Your mum’s voice filled the room with her familiar heavy accent, though she insisted it was improving. Your dad didn’t speak a word of Polish, so Joanna had to switch to English entirely after you left.
“All good, Mum. Lots and lots and lots of studying,” you said, your voice so unamused you barely lifted your eyes from the book, though your gaze was unseeing. You had been staring at the same equation for about half an hour now.
“Have you been practising your affirmations?” Of course, you hadn’t. Silly idea.
“Yes, every day and every time someone pisses me off. How’s Dad?” You decided to deflect as soon as the opportunity presented itself.
“Dad went to Calais for a retreat, and I’m left alone for the entire week. He’s not allowed a mobile, you see,” Your mum rambled on a little longer, and you let her. You were happy to hear your parents were moving on after losing their only daughter. Even though Joanna insisted she could feel your presence in the house, in the clothes and trinkets you’d left behind, and could sense your moods through an invisible mother-daughter bond you shared. What a load of nonsense.
“Mamusia, I love you, but I have to go. I’m studying with Sue, and we’ve got a test in thirty minutes,” you added a round of loud pecks so she could hear the kisses through the phone speaker. She told you to wear red underwear and get Sue to kick you for good luck.
“Your mum sounds awesome,” Sue laughed under her breath. She tried to study but ended up listening to the entire conversation.
“Eh, she’s something. She’s pretty cool when she’s not suffocating you with love, you know?” You gave Sue a knowing smile, and she understood immediately. “Have you managed to learn anything? My brain is literally fuming.”
Sue groaned as she started packing up her notebooks to head toward the lab class. “Honestly, I don’t know. I think I’ll use my last resort—can I borrow some red knickers?” You snickered as Sue shot you a huge mocking grin.
“No, but I can kick you alright, sweet Sue,” you couldn’t help but laugh. You gathered all the papers scattered around you with both hands and shoved them into your bag. You glanced at yourself in the mirror before leaving your dorm room, and Jesus Christ, your youth had already fled. Dark circles under your eyes, a gaunt face, lips chapped—all of it painfully underlined by an ink stain on your t-shirt. Whatever, there was no time to do anything about it.
It was Viktor’s class again. You had slowly grown to dislike them, ever since he and Jayce began to switch every second day, after Jayce got a new girlfriend—beautiful Mel Medarda, a third-year theatre student whom Hale once called a close second contender to rule the planet one day. Second after you, of course.
All of Viktor’s initial friendly sass had dissolved into the mean kind, which he executed each time Heimerdinger’s students were supposed to already know something they didn’t—including you. Thankfully, most of the time, you knew. The times you didn’t, he relished it and squeezed the situation to the maximum, like a sad lemon.
“Alright, take a test from the tray on the teacher’s desk and take your usual seat. And as usual, you can have a calculator and periodic table on your workbench,” Viktor’s instructions boomed through the lab classroom as one by one, students dragged themselves through the door, each one looking more exhausted than the other. “Looking ravishing today, Y/N,” he sent a smirk your way as you passed by him without sparing him so much as a glance and a quiet ‘hi.’
“Bite me, Viktor,” you barked back at him. What the hell was he thinking?
“Gladly, but maybe after class.” Usually, the smug look on his face would get you to scoff; this time, you granted him a faint eye roll as you dragged your feet toward the workbench you shared with Sue. As Viktor strolled through the room, making sure no one had anything illegal on their tables, he snatched your phone from your desk just as you were putting it into your bag.
“No phones,” he slid it into his lab coat pocket with a wink. You whined, about to say something you’d regret, but were immediately cut off by “I said, after class,” coming from behind you as you watched his back, your eyes burning a hole in it.
You solved the test first; you were so angry. As soon as you put it back in the tray, a realisation washed over you, and what you realised was the mistake you’d made in one of the exercises. You wanted to retrieve it and fix it, but Viktor’s hand shooshed you away.
“Come on, Viktor, it was there for less than a second!”
“You put it away, it’s gone for grading. That’s the rule. Also—it’s a learning curve,” he smiled at you sweetly, and you wanted to choke him out.
“Learning curve of what? That you are being a dick?” The last part was barely a whisper, nevertheless, a whisper that was fuming with rage and could cut through steel.
“Patience. And decision-making, which is a process that you clearly haven’t mastered yet,” he said coldly, not even looking you in the eye. This time, you did scoff, and angry steps carried you back to your seat.
The class settled into a more familiar rhythm after the test, the shuffle of papers and the steady hum of Bunsen burners filling the air. Viktor moved around the room, overseeing his students’ chemistry lab exercises with the same detached air he always wore. You tried to focus, but your thoughts kept drifting back to the test—and Viktor's smug little smile as he watched your frustration unfold.
The task at hand was simple enough: a titration experiment to determine the concentration of an unknown solution. Viktor had given you all the instructions, but as you watched the beaker of sodium hydroxide mix with the diluted acid, you felt a sinking feeling in your stomach. Something about the instructions didn’t sit right with you.
You glanced over at Sue, who was carefully measuring out the chemicals. You leaned in, whispering so Viktor wouldn’t overhear.
“Sue, I think he messed up the ratios in the instructions. If we follow this, it’s gonna screw everything up. We’ll end up with a totally different result.”
Sue frowned, taking a closer look at the setup. “You sure?”
“I’m certain. The way he wrote it—if we add that much of the sodium hydroxide, the pH is going to overshoot too quickly. It'll neutralise the acid too fast, and we won’t get an accurate reading. If we’re supposed to get a neutralisation point, that change will mess with the whole titration curve.”
Sue was sceptical, but you were adamant. You felt it in your gut. "It’ll be off. Trust me."
Sue nodded reluctantly. "So, what do we do?"
You hesitated for a moment, your fingers tapping the edge of the desk as you thought. You pulled up a few formulas on Sue’s phone, glancing back at Viktor to make sure he wasn’t looking in your direction.
“If we use less sodium hydroxide, the neutralisation will occur more slowly, and we’ll get a more accurate pH reading. We’re supposed to use a much more diluted solution.”
Sue nodded, though she looked uneasy. “What the hell, let’s try it.”
You adjusted the solution as you suggested, making the necessary changes to the procedure. You proceeded with the experiment, and despite her hesitation, Sue followed your lead. The two of you worked in tandem, the smooth, natural chemistry of your lab partnership taking over. As you neared the end of the titration, it was clear you had achieved the neutralisation point correctly—without overshooting or leaving any room for error.
Meanwhile, the rest of the class was still fumbling through their measurements, the air thick with the sounds of Viktor’s quiet reprimands. You couldn’t help but glance at him every now and then, noting the small, almost imperceptible frown on his face as he inspected his students’ work.
When the clock pointed to fifteen minutes away from the class ending, Heimerdinger stepped into the lab, his eyes scanning the results with interest. He walked toward your workbench, eyes lighting up as he reviewed your calculations.
“Well, it seems we have at least one pair who didn’t follow the instructions blindly,” Heimerdinger said, his voice rich with approval. “Good work, you two. You’ve done the experiment correctly. Trusting your instincts—making adjustments based on the data rather than simply following authority—is key in science. After all, we’re here to discover, not just to repeat what’s been done.”
You allowed yourself a smile of satisfaction, while Sue breathed a little easier, glancing at you in admiration.
Viktor’s face, however, was unreadable. He stood at the back of the room, arms folded tightly across his chest, watching the interaction with narrowed eyes.
Heimerdinger didn’t seem to mind. “It’s a learning curve for all of us, even your teacher. Mistakes are inevitable. But sometimes when we challenge authority—question the procedures—that’s when we learn and grow. Science is born from curiosity and defiance. Respect is important, of course, but don’t be afraid to challenge when you feel something isn’t right.”
You raised an eyebrow at Viktor, who hadn’t said a word. His lips were pressed into a thin line, but his eyes were hard as steel. He wasn’t pleased by Heimerdinger’s praise of your independent thinking.
“That’s how science is made,” Heimerdinger continued, completely oblivious to the tension between his students and the teacher. “By asking ‘what if?’ and exploring the unknown.”
Viktor finally spoke, his voice cool and controlled. “That’s true,” he said, glancing at you. “But there's a fine line between innovation and recklessness. Don’t mistake one for the other.”
You met his gaze, your jaw tight. “I don’t think we did.”
Viktor’s eyes flickered with something unreadable, but he didn’t respond, turning on his heel and walking toward the front of the room. Sue nudged you gently, a smirk tugging at her lips. “Well, at least we didn’t screw up,” she whispered.
You smiled back, but your mind was still racing. You had challenged Viktor’s authority—hadn’t followed his instructions—and it had got you praise from the professor. This couldn’t be good. “Sue, I don’t think I’m getting my phone back,” you whined into your friend's shoulder, who giggled uncontrollably.
You waited for your group to disperse into the library or the cantina before the start of the next lecture, making sure Viktor wouldn’t be able to humiliate you in front of anyone. You took a deep breath and knocked weakly on the door of the assistant’s back office.
“Come in,” Viktor’s voice was as flat and unwelcoming as ever. You braced yourself as you turned the doorknob and stepped inside quietly. Viktor was sitting at one of the tiny desks you were cramped at with Jayce and didn’t even look up. You cleared your throat.
“Yes?” This time, he looked up. God, he looked angry. When he finally raised his eyes to meet yours, he only sighed. “I doubt I can do much for you, Y/N. Given that you know everything already.”
“That’s rich coming from a guy who broke into the lab to prove his point once. Yes, Jayce told me,” you smiled at him sweetly, referring to his second-year incident when he and Jayce breached the lab security at night and conducted an experiment they were forbidden to do by Heimerdinger himself. This got them secure spots for PhD and TA positions.
Seeing that there was absolutely nothing coming from his direction but a blank stare, you asked carefully, “Well… why did you fuck up?”
Viktor sighed again, stood up slowly, and walked toward you. “Some theatre girls got us drunk last night—Mel’s friends. And I messed up the notes. Chemistry is not my major, as you know.” A smirk started to paint his face as he observed your reaction to the mention of drinking with some girls.
Viktor decided to push you further, his smirk widening as he leaned against the desk. “It’s hard to focus when you’re surrounded by Mel’s friends, you know. A lot of distractions. I haven't quite shaken last night off me yet,” he teased, his eyes glinting with amusement.
Your heart dropped at his words. You forced yourself to keep your expression neutral, but something inside you shifted—you didn’t want to admit it, but it hurt. Viktor was deliberately drawing attention to some girls, and it stung more than you cared to acknowledge.
You scolded yourself internally. Stop it. Don’t let him get to you. But it was already too late. You could feel a pang of something—jealousy, maybe, or insecurity—but you refused to let it show.
Viktor, sensing your discomfort, didn’t let up. “By the way,” he said, his tone casual, “I took a closer look at your test. You know, given your answers, I understand how you worked out the correct proportions for the exercise. Same mistake you made on the test itself, right?”
Your stomach twisted, and your chest tightened. “So now you’re just going to relish in my defeat, aren’t you?” you shot back, your voice strained.
Viktor raised an eyebrow. “I’ve got far better things to relish in. Just making observations.”
You exhaled sharply, your anger bubbling over. “You know, because you were being such a dick, the thing I actually knew will probably lower my final grade now. Congratulations.”
Viktor’s smirk never faltered. “I wasn’t being a dick,” he said, voice smooth. “I was merely being a meticulous stiff bastard.” He leaned back, his tone laced with sarcasm. “You were quite vocal about that, if I recall. Something about me being a ‘pedantic pain in the ass’ when you were drunk.”
Your face flushed, your hand tightening into a fist at your side. That comment struck a nerve you hadn’t even realised was there. Your heart pounded. “Are you seriously so petty, Viktor, that you’re going to take revenge for some drunken slur by messing with my grade?” you snapped, your voice rising. You turned to leave, the weight of your frustration heavy on your chest.
But Viktor’s voice stopped you cold. “Wait,” he said, and for a moment, you thought he was going to apologise. Maybe even admit he’d gone too far.
You glanced over your shoulder, ready to hear some kind of redemption. But then Viktor’s tone shifted again. “You didn’t forget something, did you?”
You froze as he pulled your phone from his pocket and held it out to you, a mischievous gleam in his eye. The sight of your phone in his hand made your heart sink. You really are a bastard, you thought.
With strained composure, you took the phone from him. Your fingers brushed his, sending an unexpected jolt through you. Viktor’s gaze lingered on you a moment longer than necessary, and for the briefest second, you saw something flicker behind his usual cool façade. Something almost… uncertain.
Your stomach fluttered—No. Not now. Don’t let him do this to you.
You forced a tight smile, returning his gaze. “I can play this game too, Viktor,” you said, your voice low and controlled.
Viktor’s smirk faltered for a brief moment, and he leaned back against the desk, watching you with a hint of something deeper in his expression. His eyes softened, but he quickly masked it with another calculated look.
You turned to leave, your mind racing with frustration and another weird emotion you didn’t have the name for. Just before you reached the door, you felt a shift in the air. Viktor’s teasing had crossed a line, and somehow, the distance between you felt less like a joke and more like something real. Why does this matter so much to me?
Your heart thudded painfully in your chest. Viktor hadn’t just teased you. He’d affected you, and you hated that. As you stepped out of the office, you could feel his gaze on your back, following you, studying your body. You scolded yourself internally for looking like a wreck and made your way to join Sue in the library.
Your friend regarded you with concern as you slid into the chair at the table, books already splayed out in front of her. “Did you get your phone back?”
“Yeah, it was a fight to the death,” you mumbled, sighing heavily as you opened a massive tome of genetics for the next lecture.
“And who died?” Sue asked, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
“Oh, definitely me this time.” You whined and dropped your head face-flat onto the table. “I don’t understand when this happened. Can you direct me to a point in time when Viktor woke up and chose violence?” you chuckled despite yourself.
“Um… I think it was some time after the party where that cute curly-haired guy with a poetic name clung to you the entire evening. Or—” she smirked—“you calling Viktor a meticulous stiff bastard.”
“Ambrose? I completely forgot about him,” you mused for a second. There had been an Ambrose sometime during your first weeks. He was from the theatre department too, full of big words, slightly obsessive, but overall nice. You never gave him your number, though, deciding it wasn’t meant to be.
“So you think Viktor loves me so much, jealousy rotted his guts?” you laughed a little too loudly, drawing a few irritated ‘shh!’ sounds from nearby students.
“Let’s say it’s my instinct,” Sue replied with a mischievous smile. “And remember, Y/N—trusting your instincts is key in science,” she added in a hushed, exaggerated Heimerdinger impression, causing you to suppress your laugh even further.
***
Viktor stretched in his chair. The last paper to check stared him in the eye, glaring at him almost as intensely as you had that morning. He groaned slightly at the pain in his leg as the door creaked open.
“Hi, partner,” Jayce greeted, shooting him a smile that was a mix of guilt and a plea for forgiveness. He’d left Viktor for an entire day to gallivant around campus with Mel. She had apparently needed strong arms to carry boxes of flyers advertising their winter show.
“Don’t ‘hi, partner’ me, Jayce,” Viktor huffed but smiled faintly under his nose. “How was it?”
“She’s really something, Vik. I can tell you over a beer?” Jayce offered, clearly still buzzing from his all-day hangout with his beautiful, smart, interesting, unique, elegant, new girlfriend.
“I think I’m going to call it a night. One last paper to check.” Viktor groaned slightly as he flipped your paper in front of his friend’s face. Jayce snatched it mid-air and studied it carefully for a minute.
“How come? I thought she was the only one to work around your… notes mishap?” Jayce tread carefully, noticing the frown forming on Viktor’s forehead. He knew exactly how Viktor had messed up the notes—sadly, it was partially his fault as well.
Viktor leaned back in his chair, still staring at the paper. “Yes, indeed, she was. She even tried to fix her answer when she put the test into the box,” he muttered quietly under his breath.
Jayce raised an eyebrow. “So why didn’t she?”
Viktor rolled his eyes, the motion quick and dismissive. “Because, Jayce, I don’t make exceptions for students who can't follow the rules.”
“Oh, Viktor,” Jayce sighed, shaking his head. “What did she do to get so deeply under your skin? Seriously, you're not usually like this.” Viktor was only mean and vigilant when he cared—or when he was hurt. That, Jayce knew. He just didn’t know which one it was.
Viktor shrugged nonchalantly, but there was an edge to his voice. “She’s just full of herself. Thinks she can do whatever she wants because she’s got it all figured out.”
Jayce’s lips twitched into a knowing smile. “Oh, I see. Well, if someone’s getting on your nerves that much, it usually means they’re reflecting something about you that you don’t want to see.”
Viktor stared at him blankly, the words almost not registering. Then, he let out a short, mocking laugh. “When did you start spreading the wisdom of your people around the world, Jayce?”
Jayce leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms casually. “Mel teaches me how to talk to difficult people now. You know, learning to understand them and not just shut them down immediately.”
Viktor raised an eyebrow, his tone sceptical. “Am I the difficult one here?”
Jayce’s grin widened. “Clearly. I mean, you’re willing to fuck up Y/N’s final grade over a sentiment. That’s not exactly… rational behaviour, is it?” He leaned into the desk, hoping for a moment of self-reflection from his friend.
Viktor was silent for a moment, then scoffed, trying to brush off the conversation. “It’s not like that. I’m not just doing it to be petty.”
Jayce leaned in slightly. “So, what did you tell Heimerdinger about the mishap?”
Viktor leaned forward as well, his voice dropping into a more serious tone. “I told him the truth—both of us fell asleep in the lab, working on our side project. I had to rush to class that morning. No big deal.”
Jayce nodded, processing this. “I’m sure Heimerdinger won’t bat an eyelid if you step up for Y/N, especially since she did well in class. If anything, she deserves some leniency.”
Viktor paused, looking at his friend thoughtfully. “I guess I could do that. Just… don’t think this is something I do for everyone,” he exhaled, rubbing his temple. “But I’ll talk to Heimerdinger.”
Jayce smirked, leaning back in his chair again. “There you go. Maybe Mel’s influence is working on you after all.”
Viktor shot him a look, clearly not amused. But deep down, he couldn't deny there was something about you that unsettled him—and, for some reason, it had started to bother him more than he cared to admit.
“Just keep your wisdom to yourself,” Viktor muttered. “And get out of my office. I still have work to do.”
Jayce chuckled but stood up, winking. “Hey, it’s my office as well! But yeah, I get the point.” As Jayce exited, Viktor stared at the paper before him, his mind occupied by frustration. A meticulous stiff bastard he was indeed.

OMG LANDO WON THE RACE TODAY. IM SO HAPPY FOR HIM. LITERALLY CAN NOT STOP CRYING. Can you write on where baby!sainz is there supporting him and literally crying as he wins.
HI loves! I'M so sorry but am I the onyl one who found the whole Carlos vs. Oscar thing so funny? Carlos whining was so funny (no hate towards any drivers!!!)
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy reading this and please send me some requests!
-XoXo
The Winner takes it all
Ah, Miami—the sun-kissed jewel in the racing calendar. Amira’s secret favorite, where the vibrant energy of the city blended seamlessly with the adrenaline-fueled atmosphere of the track. Perhaps it was the balmy weather that allowed her to flaunt those pretty summer clothes, or maybe the challenging circuit that kept drivers on their toes. And let’s not forget the food trucks—those mobile havens of culinary delight that dotted the paddock, tempting everyone with their sizzling aromas.
The livery and helmets, custom-crafted for the Miami Grand Prix, added an extra layer of excitement. Each design told a story: sleek curves and bold colors, a canvas for the drivers’ personalities. Amira reveled in the anticipation, her heart dancing to the rhythm of engines and tire screeches.
As tradition dictated, she accepted the invitation from Carlos (and the others). This year, she took her time getting ready. The morning sun painted her room in warm hues, and Amira felt it—an electric current of anticipation. Her abuela’s voice echoed in her mind: Confía en tus instintos, mi niña.
Arriving at the paddock with Carlos, Charles, and Alex, Amira’s smile bloomed. The camaraderie of the racing family enveloped her—the shared laughter, the knowing glances. The other three found her reaction endearing, a testament to her genuine love for this world. Before the engines roared to life, she soaked in the before-race energy—the hum of possibility, the promise of speed.
And then, the ex-president approached. His words hung in the air, but Amira’s instincts flared. She turned away, a subtle pivot that spoke volumes. Stranger danger, indeed. Like c'mon. Can we fault her for that?
The Miami Grand Prix—a sun-drenched spectacle where the roar of engines mingles with the rhythm of salsa beats. Finally it started. Amira stood between Alex and Pirro Ferrari, the latter a seasoned gentleman who’d seen more races than most. The anticipation hung thick in the air, a symphony of tire rubber and adrenaline.
And then it happened—the Oscar vs. Carlos showdown. Amira stifled a laugh. She loved her brother, but who did he think he was, ordering Oscar to yield? The unimpressed behavior from Oscar was priceless. But when Carlos collided with him, Amira’s amusement faded. This wasn’t the Carlos she knew—the calculated racer who danced on the edge but never lost control.
Yet destiny had other plans. As the laps ticked by, Amira’s attention shifted. Lando Norris, the boy with the perpetual grin, surged ahead. Her Lando. The backstory was simple: Lando had a crush on her, and Amira? Well, she was still figuring it out. Just a girl caught in the whirlwind of racing drama.
When Lando finally crossed the checkered flag, Amira’s heart soared. Tears escaped, unbidden. No more Lando Nowins—the boy who’d always been second. She flung herself into Pirro Ferrari’s arms, and he held her gently. “Ahh, young love,” he thought, watching the victory celebration unfold. “La cosa più dolce del mondo.” Indeed, sweetest of all.
As the cheers echoed through the paddock, Amira reveled in the euphoria of victory. Lando Norris, her Lando, had clinched his breakthrough maiden Formula 1 win at the Miami Grand Prix. The sun bathed the track in golden hues, and the air buzzed with celebration.
But then, a familiar voice cut through the noise. “Amira! Come join us, sweetie.” Zac Brown and Andrea Stella stood near the Ferrari box, beckoning her over. She glanced at Mr. Ferrari, who nodded with a smile. The McLaren bosses pulled her towards the fence. They knew better than to put her in the front row; Lando would undoubtedly leap over the barrier in his exuberance.
“Is it alright that I’m here?” Amira asked, her heart racing. “I know this is more of a McLaren celebration, and I don’t want to disturb.”
Zac and Andrea exchanged a knowing look. Andrea rested a hand on her shoulder. “Amira, honey,” he said gently. “I think Lando would flip out if you weren’t here.”
And then, as if summoned by fate, Lando appeared. He leaped into the arms of the mechanics, their cheers lifting him higher. He was their winner—the boy who’d fought for this moment. But there was one more surprise in store.
Zac and Andrea approached Lando. “We have a 1.60m surprise for you,” they said, grinning. Lando’s confusion melted into understanding as he followed their gaze. His eyes locked onto Amira, standing there like a beacon. Without hesitation, he ran to her, lifting her off her feet. She clung to him, like a baby koala seeking refuge.
For an eternity, they held each other—the race winner and the girl who’d captured his heart. And in that moment, amid the cheers and the sun-kissed joy, they found their own victory.
“Lando. My Lando… You finally did it. I’m so proud of you. Mi ganador,” she whispered quietly. In that suspended moment, the world ceased its frantic spin. The crowd froze, their collective breath held. For one perfect moment, everthing stopped.
There existed only the two of them—the victorious racer and the girl who’d cheered him on. Lando leaned his forehead against hers, a shared heartbeat. A tear escaped Amira’s eye, and he wiped it away with gentle urgency. “My Mira. I did it. I finally won,” he confessed, his voice thick with emotion. She couldn’t find words, so she nodded, her heart echoing his triumph. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent—the sweet mix of adrenaline and possibility.
And then, as if the universe nudged them forward, time resumed its march. Lando was whisked away to the podium, the spotlight now on him. Cameras clicked, capturing moments that would echo through history: Lando’s gaze fixed directly on Amira, her tears as he received the trophy, and Andrea’s proud smile.
Even the commentators—Crofty and Bundl—couldn’t resist. “And here we see Amira Sainz,” they narrated. “The youngest sister of Carlos Sainz and a famous actress. It seems she’s shedding happy tears for her friend Lando Norris, who just won his first GP. And… is she reapplying her lip gloss?” The world watched, and in that snapshot of time, Amira and Lando’s story became legend.

warning : this is an angsty chapter mentions of character death as well as some violence and our girl gets into an accident , the some violence is only in defence though and its fictional so let keep our hands to ourselves but also jake hitting someone for us 🥵🔥
@harrysgothicbitch as promised 😎🖤
@djs8891 😊
First official day wasn't so nerve wrecking giving she spent her weekend with her new could she call them coworkers . She liked how got along with them well nearly all of them one she really couldn't stand one of them . hangman , at first she was going to tease him for the flumpy comment it wasn't that deep til she heard him talking at the food table on the beach and well that just killed any sort of base for a friendship . throwing on her overalls and her hair in a ponytail as grabbing her helmet she and set on her way not wanting to be late for her first official day . only to see a bronco parked outside her driveway .
" i got my ride roo or did daddy dearest send you" she batted her lashes only to see a blonde head of hair in the passenger seat. " well roo my dear boy get out of my dad's ass and follow me" she laughed lifting the garage door .
" i tell him same thing darling doesn't listen" jake flashed her a dazzling smiles only for her to not even pay attention .
" i got you a coffee" rooster offered .
" we got you a coffee" jake yelled .
" i'll grab it when we get there" she laughed closing the garage and driving off on the bike.
" why are you in my car again thought your truck was way better than my... then my what did you call it flintstone mobile" rooster walked to the driver side .
" i thought i'd give the flintstone mobile a go you know i'm doing this whole don't judge a book by it's cover" he smirked. " i judged it right this time" he added looking around missing his baby.
" you wanted to try get on y/n good side , bagman that woman will chew you up and spit you out before you even know it" .
" no woman could do that and you know it" jake scoffed.
" you taking a ride to base with me and getting her coffee" .
" yeah because i like being liked" .
" oh bagman you met your match" rooster chuckled as two set off .
She pulled up in the car park taking the helmet off her head , fixing her hair as phoenix walked up to her.
" you ride a motorcycle god can you get any hotter" .
" wanna be my backpack" she winked . " i don't know what that mean but i will" the woman laughed .
" well i'll explain it at lunch lets see if any more repairs are needed plus the hornet which i can tell is roo's well i need to look it over as well as the one behind it which i know is seresins" .
" please don't kill bagman i need you around" nat fake pouted.
" even if he's a dick well i can be professional at work plus i don't look good in orange" she sighed sadly.
" hey kid thought rooster was giving you a lift you know it being your first day...." .
" or you trying to get me not to ride my baby which is ironic cause who got me into them?" she arched her brow.
" yeah well you didn't join the navy" he countered thinking he was getting somewhere .
" whats my degree" she smirked. " thought so old man now stop your sexism is showing and not good in this day and age" .
" it's not sexism" he scoffed .
" so if rooster wanted to drive the bike you would be same right" she asked.
" of course not you know why i don't want you on it" he looked at her pointedly .
" well if that's the case then you can't fly in planes ,check mate mister , where are the locker rooms" she turned to nat who was standing slightly awkward at the exchange.
" this way you need to get your keys at the front first" .
" well discuss it later young lady" he called after them. " in your dreams old man" .
" hey shit guys wait up" rooster ran after trying to avoid looking Mav in the eyes after hearing some of their discussion .
" what was that about" jake asked.
" probably one of the worse time in our lives and not my story tell hangman" .
First day was done then the first week then the first month it went by in a flash . she found she really like the dagger squad could understand her father and rooster could like them , she liked wednesdays because her and fanboy played video games after work or working out with javy on thursday , tuesday she help payback with cooking so he could wow his wife and sunday were girls day with halo and phoenix saturdays were beach days and due to rent issue most nights where spent with bradley her new roommate also saturdays the torture before the beach a hike with rooster and hangman although they still weren't on speaking term hell she pretended he didn't exist and unless it was work related she didn't acknowledge him at all and it was driving jake seresin beyond mad . He watched how she would be with the squad , the smiles and affection that he secretly yearned for , the laugh of hers that drove him crazy .
he stopped with even taking girls home because last couple of times he did they left mad as bulls when he realised that he called them y/n . one woman who turned up and derailed his life and now he was stuck like a lovestruck wimp with a girl that wanted nothing to do with him and that was all completely new. But he never showed that , no he would put on the same old charm or pull her pigtails like they were kids on the playground . He would say something ,first she would well ignore him but he kept saying things til he eventually would get a response with even though wasn't good it was better then ignoring him .
" well if it ain't my favourite little handy woman" he called as she was taking inventory of what parts would be needed already done with the day.
" what can i do for you" she eyes checking over each tray.
" jet making weird noise again , starting to think you aren't looking after my jet properly darling" .
" oh bite me i take care of it like i do all the jets you just aren't careful with the flying machine all action and no finesse" she shot back tying the top part of her overalls around her waist knowing there was nothing damn wrong with the jet this was just one hangman's ways of torturing her .
" where is the location of the weird noise or is it you brain trying to work" she asked climbing up the ladder ready check over the engine and to see it was in tip top shape.
" my dear you wound me so i heard it promise cross my heart"he winked making her bite her tongue not wanting to sink to his level . she checked it over knowing she wasn't going find anything wrong with the jet , she check it only a couple of days ago when he said same thing . she check the wheel well only to see what exactly was the problem and one that hated her job .
" problem here is you got a dead bird in here and it's not my job to clean that out have fun"she smiled happily leaving him speechless looking up as feather fell out floated to the ground .
"hey y/n you got a minute" bob called out.
" course i do" she skipped as jake wished he ignore the weird sound . she as well as the other squad members watched as hangman began clearing the jet watching as the carcass felled down onto the ground as he gagged loudly . " least there will be no more weird noise huh bagman" she cackled.
He may of washed himself three or four times after the whole bird incident wanting to make sure he got the reminisce of it off his skin even though it didn't touch his skin knowing . he probably should of got a recruit to do it but nope he done it all himself. In his cleaning he didn't noticed the door open or the pitter patter of the sounds of feet on the cold tiled floors . it was when the sound of the shower and humming started , he knew who knew it was wondering why the hell she was using the base showers . " princess is lowering herself to using the peasant bathrooms huh" he called making the humming stop completely.
" peasant bathrooms really also i thought you were gone" she sighed .
" nope still getting bird off of me".
" well i need to get the grease and oil off me i meeting up with a friend after work" she almost sang.
" yeah i know we're all meeting at hard deck later" he rolled his eyes .
" different kind of friend but enjoy" he could almost hear the smile in her voice which annoyed him but another feeling was rising one he's never had when it came to women , almost new as turned the shower off leaving promptly . what was it about this one that had him so well fucked .
" yeah i got her to agree to go on date with me" the voice laughed .
" man you are one lucky son of a bitch" . it was like the world was against him now having to listen so prick to brag about getting the girl, getting his girl .
" yeah all i had to do was pretend to like the shit she did and boom eating out the palm of my hand , i don't know whether to hit it and quit it or do i carry it on i mean her dad's maverick so maybe i can get something out of" the sniffling little shit was about to say more but the rage that built up as he spoke well he didn't get a chance to speak when he found himself slammed against the wall with a seething hangman staring at him .
" woah hangman let him go" rooster rushed up .
" little prick you think you can use her" he growled pushing the man harder.
" wait what you talking about man" the mans voice shook .
" i heard it all hit and quit or use her for her daddy now we both know she too smart to fall for that , she probably didn't even fall for your crap , she probably felt bad for you but that still doesn't mean i shouldn't beat you into these tiles right here" .
" because he's not worth it just let him go jake" her voice sounded so broken behind him yet he did, he let the man go even though he wanted to beat the shit out of him .
" leave now while you have teeth"rooster snapped as they ran out of there .
" pretty girl?" rooster said but she quickly rushed off to get dressed and leave the base before they could get to her she was driving off clearly upset .
She felt stupid , she thought he actually liked her , she couldn't believe she felt for his shit . " idiot you fell for the easiest line in the book because ugh" she grumbled to herself feeling the tears start to build . " great now i crying" she laughed although muffled through her helmet .
checking around only seeing one car she nodded to pull over and he waved indicating for her to go ahead . she moved almost there and then she wasn't it was all so fast she was almost there. She was catapulted off the bike at first is was all in slow motion like time was moving at snail pace then the impact she hit the ground hard setting time back into motion . she could hear her bike scrapping along the gravel as well as her skin where her suit was ripped open . everything hurt no hurt was probably too minor to describe it , everything burned intensely as she looked up through the now cracked visor of her helmet and yet she couldn't move it was like something was holding her down in place.
" miss can you hear me , she not responding" a voice called . " she still breathing although it looks like she struggling , no i didn't touch her , she bleeding bad" the voice frantically called like he was talking to someone she couldn't hear.
" he just came out of no where at full speed , hit her off the bike please are they close ". she felt warm liquid coating her skin and burning was starting to dull . " yeah there's a visor on her helmet there i got it off , miss can you hear me , her eyes are open" . " her eyes are closing miss stay with me , god he came out of nowhere please hurry miss, miss" was the last thing she heard before it went quiet and everything went black.
They stood quiet , standing their usual spot waiting for a text or call she was ok .
" she isn't at home i checked already" rooster sighed something in his gut told him something bad was going on same one he got the day his dad died or when his mom got her diagnosis.
" maybe she needs time" nat said softly although she was itching to go out and look for her .
" she needs her friend and i've a bad feeling" rooster began pacing . Jake seresin well he was quiet , almost too quiet as he replayed it all from her face to the fact she called him jake . usually it wouldn't of meant so much if it wasn't her. She never used his name not even his surname it was always bagman or hangman maybe even cowboy but never jake.
" fuck it i'm going looking for her" rooster snapped the man from his own thought and instantly he was on his feet.
" i'll come with you" was all he said. Usually rooster would tease him , taunt that they would be using the bronco but no for some reason the look on jake seresins face was reason enough to keep it quiet and all he did was nod . they all walked out , standing talking about who was going with who til they heard it .
" fucking bitch had to be there man i was so close could of been balls deep now and buttering up captain mitchell " that pricks voice from across the car park . Not a second thought or the voice of reason from his friends to ignore it cause he saw red , full blown rage that had him barrelling across and punching the man square in the jaw . it was almost satisfying when his fist connected or when the prick hit the ground .
" what is your fucking problem asshole" .
" my problem is you , ya had the perfect woman and all you wanted was what she could give you , what she could benefit you not realising you had the best thing on this earth and you fucking took advantage of it , i hear you call her one more thing or they hear you in there well son a punch is gonna be last of you worries" he spat .
" she a chick man get over it acting like a crazy person over maverick bitch" he laughed the fucker laughed as jake went to dive on him only his friends pulled him back.
" she a force of fucking nature , smart and beautiful fucking woman , you lucky she even gave you time of day
. " hangman" rooster called.
" you don't hear what he's saying what he's calling her man" jake growled pushing out of his friends arms only for rooster to pulling back turning him around.
" hangman come on" he said again more almost gentle or something he couldn't quite place.
" nat no" was all they heard before the female pilot hit the man again only he went to hit back this time .
" not now rooster" jake gritte only for rooster took a hold the mans fist as the fucker actually looked scared.
" you get out of here not in there, he's right you say one bad thing about y/n in there you gonna get your ass beat " rooster pulled the men away sending them off with black eyes and bruised cheek .
" what the hell , did you hear them" jake snapped.
" jake we need to go hospital , there's been an accident . y/n hurt real bad" .
" come on lets go" he said leading him , nat and bob to his car . all again quiet once more.
The ride to the hospital was silent all wondering what bad truly was and all afraid to ask . in the space so short as a month she'd managed to worm her way into their hearts and now they hoped it wasn't end of what was going to be a beautiful friendship . jake felt ill hell he felt everything all in once but now more so fear and worry . it was all so much in so little time but one feeling he felt one he more , one he feared of feeling all these years and it could be too late.
" oh my" nat gasped turning their attention to the side of the rode . they saw it all the glass everywhere , blood pooled on the ground it didn't take a genius to connect the dots they knew . her bike still on the ground as the cops had the area closed off and her helmet thrown on the ground half haphazardly. " stop i'll meet you there" nat yelled already getting out of the car. " that bike is her baby i need to" was all she said .
" i'll go with her and get guys to bring us" bob said running after her.
" she right , that bike is here baby , she been driving them since she was sixteen , think that's her second one , the other one is in our garage she still cleans it takes it out. My mom was freaked when she got the first one i mean scared to death on it but mav would say she was go driver" he chuckled as they drove down the highway.
" thought he hated her on them".
"wasn't always that way ... shit mav probably freaked thinking history's repeating , look i said it wasn't my story to tell but fuck it , you know charlie blackwood her mom well she died when y/n was seventeen hit her hard during the whole thing well she needed space. sick of people giving their well wishes which i agree it's only so much of if you need me .. anyways she went on drive although that night it was raining from what we know she lost control on the road was real bad she ended up in a coma for couple months , they said she slim to none chance of full recovery and she beat those odd woke up all ok first thing she asked was her bike ok" he laughed as tears gathered in his eyes .
" she stubborn one huh but she fighter too so determined you know well of course you know your like her brother , she never lets anything go even when the guys talked down to her she showed them what was what probably how she had half the base on her side in matter of weeks, she's so smart too like brains for miles , it's cute to when you see her concentrating hard on something her little tongue poking out or that laugh not the fake one she gives cyclone to boost his ego but the real one that makes you wanna do more to keep it going" was like he couldn't stop talking it all falling out his mouth on it own free will as bradley smiled listening.
" sounds like a man in love to me , i mean i know i was young but reminds me of the way my dad would talk about my mom" .
" you hit your head chicken boy you sound crazy" jake quickly covered his track albeit not well .
" oh shut up man you know i'm right and me crazy you attack the same man twice for merely talking bad about her" rooster shook his head.
" that was hypocritical i mean come on i said same sort of shit first time with met i called her flumpy like she should of clocked my ass".
" well you do make shit first impression, i'll give you that is true but i've noticed a change in you since you met her , woman of hard deck are safe from your chat up lines , your not sleeping around like a dog and you've been trying to make it up to her since the beach. Yeah you tease her but thats your love language or what ever amelia says . all i'm saying is you got time to turn it around" rooster explained all so easily like he knew something more then he was letting on and maybe he did .
" do i though?" jake ask crashing them back to reality knowing it might not be a chance. He hope rooster was right , he hoped he could make things right and he hoped it wasn't too late .

Krueger's Secret
Civilian | Male | Gay
1,371 words
Content: Fluff.
Sebastian Krueger | Male/GN Reader
!!!SFW!!!
In the wake of a devastating hurricane, amidst the chaos of a relief centre, you cross paths with the peculiar volunteer, Krueger. Unbeknownst to him, you see through his military cover. What begins as a playful exchange soon turns into a budding relationship.
(This was inspired loosely by the hurricane I just dealt with)
You thought it was pretty amusing when 'Josef' appeared as a volunteer in the relief centre after the hurricane. Despite his attempts to 'blend in' with the rest of the civilians, you recognized his silhouette and demeanour instantly as one of the military men who had been brought in to secure the area while relief workers did their thing.
You had to be 'escorted' away when you resisted. He had firmly gripped your arm and dragged you to safety, but in the process you managed to get his name from him. At least, the name he was willing to give you.
But what really gave him away was his voice – his accent – you remembered it clearly from when he ordered you to move to safety a day or so earlier.
He moved around the relief centre with purpose, helping wherever he could; moving supplies, assisting people with mobility issues, treating simple wounds, and you thought you even saw him donate some blood.
And then you felt him hovering behind you. His gaze burned holes into the back of your head as you organized supply bins to hand out.
You slowly turned to face him with a curious, and perhaps anxious look.
He stood there with his arms crossed, his short, dirty-blond hair brushed to the side and his piercing brown eyes staring you down.
“...can I help you?” You asked a bit timidly.
He tilted his head and studied you for a moment. “I was told to help.” He replied.
'German?' You asked yourself. You shook the thought from your head.
“Ah, well...” You acknowledged, “Its pretty simple, grab a bin, pack in the supplies, and hand it off to the helper on the other side.” You explain.
He steps up to the table beside you and studies the bin.
“Well organized.” He says flatly. He turns to the boxes of supplies around him and begins to pack them into the bin exactly as you had in yours.
He quickly falls into a steady pace of packing supplies and handing them off to the helpers, his training and attention to detail clearly on display. You can't help but wonder if he's showing off a bit.
You can't help but notice the glances he gives you as he works, but you keep your eyes focused on the task at hand.
You both worked diligently over the course of the next two hours or so, amidst the chaos of the relief centre, organizing and packaging supplies as necessary. It was unavoidable that you would start to return those glances he gave you, his intense eyes shifting to a more calm and curious look.
As the workload began to ebb, and the packages were loaded onto trucks for delivery, you decided to risk it and strike up a conversation.
“You know,” You muttered as you tilted your head to look at him. “It's not every day we get someone as efficient as you volunteering at a relief centre.” You commented with certainty. “Though it's not every day you need such a large relief effort for a hurricane.” You added, pursing your lips.
He paused for a moment to think about it.
“I believe in doing my part.” He replied simply. His rugged looks giving no hint of his true thoughts.
“You likely have a background to handle such situations, though, yeah?” You probe.
He gives you a suspicious look, and you worry for a moment that you may have offended or overstepped.
His eyes look away from you and off into the distance as he processes your words.
“I have been in situations like this before, yes.” He nods assertively. “You quickly learn to pay attention to the details. Respond fast and efficiently.”
“Well you've certainly been fast and efficient today.” You beam as you seal the last bin to be shipped off.
You turn to him and place a hand on the table as he pushes one last bin off as well.
“Lets go take a break.” You insist.
He paused, caught off guard by your suggestion. He furrowed his brow and shook his head. “I'm fine.” He replied in a measured tone.
He was clearly lying.
Undeterred, you pestered him again, “Come on, everyone needs a break. And we're done our current task... there's time for a bite to eat and relax before we jump to the next problem.”
He grunted as he struggled to find a reason to resist. “Alright.” He conceded. “Just a short one, though.” He nodded.
★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★・・・・・・★
You both made your way to the small volunteer break area where some simple tables and folding chairs had been set up. There were a few stations that offered sandwiches, veggies, coffee and tea.
After you both grabbed some food and something to drink, you made your way to an empty table.
“Whats your name?” You asked. You of course remembered the name he gave you, but he seemed to still be under the impression he had blended in.
“Josef.” He said, his accent thicker with the pronunciation. “Josef Krueger.”
“Pleasure to officially meet you, Josef Krueger.” You replied, extending a hand to him.
Krueger cautiously accepted your hand in his and gave it a firm shake. He nodded before biting into his sandwich.
“Your accent... is it German?” You inquire as you pick away at your food. “Do you speak it?”
"Ja, ich spreche fließend Deutsch." Krueger answered with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
“What brings you so far from home?” You queried. “Aside from the hurricane relief.” You smile. Still pretending you didn't know he was military.
Krueger leaned back in the chair and ate his sandwich with a peculiar look in his eyes.
You could see a playful flicker in his eyes.
“Something tells me you already know.” Krueger replied curtly. "Du bist sehr aufmerksam für einen Zivilisten."
You squint a little as your brain processes the words. You don't speak German, but you can infer enough to figure it out.
“Well, I have a knack for picking up on things.” You confidently reply. You take a long sip of tea and raise an eyebrow at him. "For a civilian."
Kruegers eyes widen a bit as you speak, a hint of amusement painted on his face. “How long have you known?” He finally inquires. “How long have you been playing this charade?”
You watch as he tenses his jaw, though he doesn't seem angry.
“The moment I saw you strutting around the relief area.” You admit with a lazy shrug.
Krueger couldn't help but be intrigued by your observational skills - not to mention you never let on you knew his 'secret' until this conversation - he realized his ability to maintain his anonymity had been torpedoed with you, and it piqued his interest. A lot.
“So what's your story?” He questions with an amused tone. “Some kind of spy?”
He leaned forward and rested his arms on the table, staring you down with a devilish look.
You wave your hand dismissively. “Nothing so grandiose.” You reply, shaking your head. “I'm just good at paying attention to the details.”
Krueger takes a deep breath as he processes your words, searching for a hint of deceit. You seem genuine.
“Hmph.” He grunts. He leans back in his chair. “Well, then... what other things have you observed about me today?” He questions.
You take another long drink from your mug.
“Guess if you want to find that out, you can take me for a drink or two.” You smile.
Kruegers gaze lingered on you, much softer than it was before. He was excited and curious to find out just who you were under it all. Someone who could so easily see through his disguise, and yet, be bold and fearless enough to call him out on it, albeit in a mischievous way.
"Es ist gut, dass du nicht nur mutig, sondern auch süß bist." Krueger replies with a chuckle. He shook his head. “I guess I will be treating you to a drink or two.” He conceded.
“Great!” You reply with excitement. “I know a great place we can go once the power is back on.” You advise him.
'This should be fun.' He thought to himself.

Terminator: Dark Fate - Augmented Cut.
Format is MKV and the file size is 3.06GB. Mega doesn't seem to like IE, so if you're having trouble try a different browser or switch between Mobile/Desktop.
A little rough around the edges in points, and not all of the changes I'd daydreamed about here were possible (still no Chinese Cut for that "kill you" line 😔) but here's somethin'.
Link and breakdown of changes are under the cut, but it's up to you if you want to know them in advance :D
Feel free to share around. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Night Scenes - Night scenes have been color graded a little to be more in tune with T1 and T2.
Intro - Movie now cuts directly from Sarah's Pescadero video to Grace's arrival.
Truck Chase - Some of the slow motion has been ditched to give the chase more immediacy, and the odd CGI of Grace being flung from the truck has been removed. I think it's a big improvement, if I say so myself, particularly to the rebar impact.
Remove the ADR’d line about Grace’s augments at 38:37 - "You know, enhanced speed and strength, Thorium reactor?". I just think it's awkward.
The imagined Terminator invasion/John’s death from the start of the movie has been moved into the hotel exposition scene - Not the most graceful cut, but the editor did what they could.
Shoulder touch in the bed of the pickup has been added back in - Not as slick as I'd like, but whaddaya gonna do.
The Crossing Deleted Scene - The alternate Border Crossing scene where Dani's uncle is killed has been edited back in, though the reuse of the computer search animation has been removed and some of the slow motion nixed.
CBP Escape - Dani's relief that Grace is alive and the slow motion handhold shot have been edited back in.
Alicia Confronts Sarah Deleted Scene - The deleted scene of Alicia confronting Sarah about Carl has been restored.
Scavenger Flashback/ “Let Me Save You” Deleted Scene - The concluding part of Grace's ruins flashback (forward?) reshoot has been removed, and replaced with Grace's "Let Me Save You" scene. Removing the reshoot takes the "raised me" line out.
"She's John" line has been removed.
Underwater Humvee sequence - This has been edited down and shortened to remove some of the sketchy CGI and present the scene more from the claustrophobic interior POV as they wait for the Rev 9 to attack.
"It will fry his neural net" line has been removed.
"You killed everything I loved" subtitle has been corrected.
Hope you enjoy. Let me know if you come across any glitches or issues.
