A sneak peek at my current project. Ronan's hammer from GotG. Printed it expected more shrinkage. The tan resin doesn't shrink nearly as much as the grey. So fighting alignment has been problematic. Also had to fill with a third resin on a few spots because bed tearing. This'll work! Maybe? So, for those of you that invested in the Moai SLA Printer, may have experienced an issue with the SDCard reader. The reader goes out more often than I would like it to, and one possible reason is that when you install it, the screw mounts are too shallow making it stress the PCB. That's my solution! A spare piece of styrene 0.08 inches thick. I scored it and put it into place after drilling out the screw holes. I can't go any thicker because the included screws are too short. Peopoly was nice enough to include extra screws but I have them packed away so I don't know if there are others that would work. I am still able to remove the SD Card without any difficulty, outside of what there was initially with my big fingers. Oh shi... Well, for the 4th time my 3d printer has decided to quits. This, is no good. I suspect it's the controller board that has a fault, would explain why all the fixes revert to failures. At least I got 4 prints out of it this time.
