Shirou Fuji:

He is as girly as one can be. He uses feminine gestures and language and mannerism. He is literally called a princess in the manga. It's clearly stated that he is not the knight or a prince, but the princess. He wears his older sisters' dresses until he goes to high school (there he has to wear regular school uniform). He cooks and bakes. He takes the home economics class in school. He tailors and does sewing. He knows about fashion. He is a little fashionista. His favourite patterns are dots. He loves bows. He has superior knowledge when it comes to tailoring and culinary. He likes decoratin He loves flowers and prefers tulips over roses. He likes sweets, preferably strawberries. His birthday is on the celebration day of the Kiss Day in Japan. He and some girls of his school have a "Girl's Club" where guys are welcome too. Original it was to teaching ta le manners, now they have fun tea parties where they pretend to drink tea like in England.

He fights to be loved as he is.

Kitty: wears an incredibly elaborate georgian era gown and matching hairpieces, loves unicorns and glitter and typically “girly” things

I sincerely wish that Kujou put in as much effort towards Yanagi. I feel super bad seeing her doing the absolute least even after she’s starting to realize her feelings. Maybe something will change when they get together, but when I searched up when that is, its like 2 chapters before the end so RIP

I want to go back to Mizutama Honey Boy bc the effort comes from both sides. Even when Shirou confessed first to Mei and they became friends. During that time she still helped and saved him and spent a lot of time together that I never felt robbed. She even figured out her feelings mid way and confesses like in the volume before the last.

that's hard....for the classic shoujous i'd say namaikizakari, maid-sama, and last game are some of my favorites. yona of the dawn too but that's like a no brainer.

and then i think my all time favorites are mizutama honey boy, honey lemon soda, and tomo-chan wa onnanoko

for a shorter series one of my favorite less romance centered shoujos is tomodachi no hanashi. highly reccomend.

among all of these i think mizutama honey boy is another all time favorite, same for honey lemon soda. im missing some though but these r the ones that left a long impression on me
