@shunkazami-bakugan
-{| When it came to every youth's favorite game, Bakugan, the rankings were everything and all that mattered to those who sought to be the best and make a name for themselves! However, Bakugan battling wasn't in everyone's interest. A young man, Kyoujin Kazama, was one of those individuals. He was friends with another boy, Miyori, who was completely in love with Bakugan and wanted nothing more than to be #1, and what way to achieve that other than beating #1 in the World Rankings? |}-
Miyori had been running through a forest, energetically peeking into bushes and trees. Kyoujin is walking behind him with, watching with an unamused face. "Miyori, I really don't think this is a good idea. I mean, we're basically trespassing. I have a bad feeling about this..." Kyoujin says as Miyori stops for a moment and turns to him. "Oh c'mon! We're totally fine! Not like we're here to steal anything, Jin! All we're here to do is battle Shun, beat him, and then we're out of here! Just like that!" Miyori summarized with a snap of his fingers and a grin before sticking his head into a bush.
Kyoujin rests his hands behind his head, sighing. "We're still trespassing..." Kyoujin points out as he watches Miyori, the latter returning from the bush. "Don't be such a party pooper! See, this is why you'd never make a good battle brawler! Ya don't know how to have fun and never loosen up!" Miyori lectured before jogging ahead down the trail. Kyoujin had a rather annoyed expression at this, folding his arms; but then his eyes widen and he gasps before reaching out toward Miyori, "Miyori, look out!" Kyoujin cried out. There was thin silky tripwire that Miyori ran into, tripping him onto the ground face first! Groggy, Miyori slowly began to rise, but a bamboo-cage lands upon the boy, trapping him!
Kyoujin attempted to move forward, but as he does so, he stops upon sensing something. An incoming force... A wooden post bursts from the ground in front of Kyoujin, whom immediately steps to the side reactively to dodge it before more posts began springing upward at him! Kyoujin jumped and dodged the posts quickly until he felt he was out of range of the contraption; but just as he thought his moment of relief had came, it was already gone when swinging logs had came swinging down at him! Kyoujin rushes forth, jumping, sliding, and graciously twirling to avoid the logs as he hones in on his trapped friend! It wasn't over yet... Wooden practice dummies sprout from the ground, ready to assault the intruder with rocks! Kyoujin unsheathes his sword and accurately reflects the rocks back at the dummies, smacking and spinning them out before they retreat back into the Earth!
A moment of stillness is taken, and nothing else seems to be attacking, so Kyoujin proceeds toward Miyori to finally free him. "JIN, BEHIND YOU!!!" Miyori squealed, prompting Kyoujin to whip around in time to see a storm of shuriken slicing through the air right at them at a high speed! Kyoujin, sword still in hand, immediately deflects the shuriken as fast as they came, sending them into nearby trees and bushes before the finally stopped coming! Once clear, Kyoujin does a fancy little twirl with his ninjato sword before slowly sheathing it.
"Whoa... that... was... AWESOME!!! Dude, are you sure you're not secretly a ninja?!" Miyori questions in complete astonishment as he grips the bars of the bamboo cage. "I'll answer later. Now, stand back. Let me see if I can get you out of there." Kyoujin instructs as he rubs his chin, thinking to himself on the angle and amount of cuts needed to break through the bamboo. Once his mind is made up, he grips the hilt of his ninjato before whipping it out and delivering a succession of rapid swipes; the slices were fast, and the ninjato is back in its sheathe within seconds with Kyoujin taking a few steps back. The cage is still as it always was before finally crumpling apart, Miyori completely free once again! "Thanks, Jin! I gotta learn all of those wicked moves!" Miyori eagerly said before standing tall. "Be more careful. Had that be me in that cage and you running through that obstacle course, you'd have been annihilated..." Kyoujin softly scolds with a sigh, knowing that a few seconds is all that's needed before Miyori's disregarding his advice.

Do you know the animated movie "Miyori no Mori" (Miyori's Forest) ? If I remember correctly it's about a girl who lives with her grandmother, near a forest, and she encounters nature spirits who need her help to prevent the forest from being destroyed. Would you say it has some similarities with faes ?
The Writer Speaks:
I have not seen this, and Atri says he only catches things that I sometimes see while he’s around visiting, so we will have to get back to you on that. It sounds interesting, though. I may have to check this out.

I attempted several times to watch this film and I just finished it by now, finally. I used to fall asleep as I start watching this. Well, this is lit just like other animé movies which seemed to be based on Japanese folklore.
Miyori has been accustomed of being alone. She doesn't have close friends in Tokyo. Even her parents dumped her (according to her) that made her sent to the countryside to live together with her grandparents. She thought she never needed anyone, but in the forest, she found her company with the unusual creatures. She had friends.
You are never alone. You just need to be in the right place for you with the right people. If you aim for something to achieve, there will be people who will be willing to help you make it. Pure and good intentions will make other people willing to take part in making it realized and be part of your success.
Miyori's Forest. Is Miyori no Mori the proper translation? I watched the movie without its title and some parts are muted. Eh idk
