North node in houses🌠
🫧North node in 1st house-you can fight with your personality, appearance, courage and fear. You have the feeling that you never have enough courage to do something or you are afraid that you will embarrass yourself or that you will look stupid. The most important thing here is that u trust yourself. Maybe you can pay too much attention to what others think, but the mission here is to pay attention to yourself. The key lessons of the north node in first house are developing independence and learning to be brave and stand up for yourself. You also need to let go of the abandonment issues and clinginess. You have to find a way to find yourself (many times someone can help you), especially the person who have the first house placements can open you up a lot personally.
💗North node in 2nd house- many times you can have problems with your value. People with this placement often struggle between materialism and love. Many times you can feel that money shows your worth. Which means that without money you can feel worthless. You can see love through money or you can feel that this is why people love you. You can feel power through money, valuable things, cars & everything related to luxury. You may have problems with food or you may have an unhealthy relationship with food (this can be in several ways). Let's say you only eat once a day. Many times you can lose your appetite if you have too many worries (especially money-related). Also I don’t know why but I noticed that these people don't like music. In general, it's hard for you to find pleasure in life, but it's actually one of the most important things. U are worthy! Remember that.
💬North node in 3rd house- you may have a problem with speaking, expressing yourself. It is difficult for you to find the right words to describe how you feel or what you want to say. NN guides individuals along a path of mental and social growth. Communication and writing are very important with this placement. You can develop as a person a lot through writing and journaling. You can have close friends or you can be happily married, but you feel that you are a stranger in your local community.
🏖️North node in 4th house- you have a problem finding your safe place, people with whom you feel safe and at home. You want to have your own private space where it's just you. There is a tendency to want to control everything and everyone, what can cause you trouble in your family life. It is hard for you to cooperate with others. Maybe you felt like you never had anyone who was really there for you or with whom you felt completely safe. Your home can sometimes be an unsafe place for you. In this life u have to find your safe place and people.
🎠North node in 5th house- you may have trouble finding your joy. Maybe it's hard for you to be in the energy of a child or to give in to your inner child. I think a little prince book would be good for people with this north node-to remember what it's like to be a child and surrendered in your childish joy. You may have trouble showing your talents and being seen. You can also have a dating problem. You can also feel lonely, even though you are surrounded with people. Many people with this placement are afraid of standing up for themselves and prioritizing their own wishes. You have to learn to shine on your own. Find things that make you happy. Remeber the happy memories.
🌸North node in 6th house- you have problems finding your own routine. Maybe many times you have a problem with your health (in the sense that you worry too much about how things will turn out or not at all). Maybe it is difficult for you to find a suitable job or a job that would really interest you. This north node also suggests that you are prone to escapism. Maybe it's hard for you to stay in one routine. But since this house is also connected with animals, others, the physical body - this can also mean that you have a problem with getting along with animals or you have a more alienated attitude towards them (not necessarily), it can also mean that you often face the loss of animals.
🎨North node in 7th house- you can have relationship problems, stay in a relationship, or let go completely. You may always have the feeling that something is missing or that the person is not giving you as much as you thought. Many times you can be hurt by people. Maybe you never feel fully accepted in a relationship. You may face a lot of ups and downs in life, justice, maybe even a divorce, or maybe your marriage is more challenging. You want to do things your own way. This also suggests that you don’t like taking advice from others. Here you have to learn to accept the opinion of others and listen.
🌊North node in 8th house-you maybe have issues with your intimacy or being intimate with others. It’s similarly to Scorpio north node. You also have some trust issues and you do not easily trust people actually. It's very hard for you to trust someone and really believe them. You can carry a lot of secrets within you. Maybe since you being a child or from your very early age. It could be some secrets about your family and you don't want to tell anybody. You feel like nobody really gets you or understand you or that nobody will accept your dark side. Can also be some dark stuff about your family that you're ashamed to. You want someone who will be there for you forever. Somebody that will never die(vampire diaries thing),somebody that will never leave you ,somebody you can trust with all your heart. Ride or die kind of love.
🧁North node in 9th house-it is difficult for you to find faith, meaning and optimism. You may have lost your faith as a child and it is difficult for you to find something to believe in again. It can also mean that your faith has disappointed you and that the things you strongly believed in were not what you thought they were. Goals are to find meaning and live for it. You have to learn to live in the moment and enjoy the given moment, because you never know if you will be able to experience something twice. You have to grow through what you are. Another key life lesson with this placement is developing a sense of freedom.
☕️North node in 10th house-In this lifetime, you can experience tremendous growth in this life area if you are willing to face the challenges and lack of experience. Your soul wants to take responsibility for your life and become the master of your own ship. You may have trouble building a career or feeling worthy of it. Many times you are looking for your place in this life and among the audience. You want to be seen and noticed. You want to make an impression. You may have a problem with your father or your relationship with him may be a bit distant. It can also be that it is difficult for you to be around people who are older than you and that you feel uncomfortable.
🐚North node in 11th house- you can have problems with friends. Maybe it's hard for you to find a friend who would really understand you and see you for who you are. Many times you feel like you don't belong in the group and that you are the outsider in the group. Even though you craved friendships, the north node in 11th house suggests that in the past, you didn’t fit in well in any circle of friends. Many north node in 11th house people are lonely as children and young adults. You may have a problem keeping friends and people around you, and quickly people don't suit you.
❄️North node in 12th house- you have a problem with staying hidden. You have the feeling that people don't see and understand you the way you would like them to. People with this placement tend to be hard on themselves. It can be harder for you to forget and forgive things. People with this placement are strongly attached to reality. It is actually hard for you to be dreamy. In your lifetime you can meet a lot of people who are spiritual. The north node in the twelfth house indicates that you have to let go sometimes. Immersing yourself in the world of fantasy and the divine helps you find balance in your life.

— Ajax
⊹ Details. 18+ minors dni, gn!afab!reader, reader is traveller but not lumine, reader is plus size, reader has long hair, friends to lovers, love confessions, kissing, first time together, fingering (reader receiving), oral sex (reader receiving), unprotected sex, creampie, lovey dovey sex, teasing, and banter. ⊹ Run time. 4.3k ⊹ Note. I found this in my drafts from 2022 and decided to polish it up for his birthday! I thought I had posted it! Silly me, I hope you enjoy <3 Happy birthday Ajax!
❝Tensions grow between you and the harbinger you inadvertently befriended as you invite him into your teapot for the first time, your home.❞
Tumblr media
It’s quiet, that is the first thing Ajax notices when he enters the teapot, the second is a strange bird-like creature that perks up at your presence, perched at the entrance of the mansion you called home. It sits large and out of place amongst the swaying palm trees and salty ocean breeze, much too big for one person to call home but he supposed you were not alone, not really. There was Tubby the teapot spirit whom he’d learn the name of in passing, and Paimon your travelling companion, and whoever else you decided should be so lucky to become acquainted with your private dwellings. Surely he hadn’t been the first and he likely would not be the last.
“For an adventurer, you sure have a knack for design,” he says while idly skimming his fingertips across one of the many bookshelves in your home. He’s poked around more than he should, pulling out books and touching whatever he could get his hands on, “If I didn’t know any better I might question your merits.”
“It’s all thanks to Tubby.”
You seem to take no offence to his gross implications, rather curling up in front of the large fireplace that is sat in the centre of the room. Despite the fresh summer air and bright beaming sun, the fire crackles loudly within the office the two of you found your way into. It isn’t uncomfortably hot nor does it seem out of place. The warmth is pleasant as is the smile you sport, reminding him of home.
“And a bit of Adepti magic,” you mutter as you sprawl out on the floor. The plush emerald green carpet swishes with your movement, comfortable looking. Ajax can’t help but want to sink to the ground with you, but he remains, opting to stand across the room, “I don’t think I could have pulled all this off by myself.”
Tearing his gaze away from you, Ajax inspects the photographs scattered along the wall, there's a collection from the city of freedom; Mondstadt, well worn and frayed around the edges but they’re still hung with pride, even some from Liyue with traces of him in the background. He felt out of place standing amongst your precious memories of people who helped guide you on your travels. Guilt bubbles up in his chest, he didn’t understand why you’d bring him here when all he ever seemed to do is bring trouble wherever he travels. The pictures which captured the time before, before he betrayed you before he dared to sink the city of contracts. There was no joy to be found in that memory and yet you asked him for assistance once more, a desperate plea for someone of his standing to help find you a way back to the faraway land you hailed from.
“You helped save not one but two great nations, I wouldn’t sell myself short if I were you, comrade.”
Your nose crinkled up at the word, “I saved one of them from you,” it's a joke, you’re making a joke but he doesn’t laugh. He shouldn’t laugh, it was a failed mission and reflected poorly on him. The other harbingers already looked down upon him and this was just another reason to shun him, “Though you are forgetting Inazuma so if anyone is selling me short, it’s you.”
His body seizes up, his shoulders and jaw tense.
Ajax often boasted how great he was, how skillful he was with a myriad of weapons, and how powerful he became once being given a vision but in all his time with you, he had not given you praise. At least, not one that didn’t in some way insinuating that you were still the slightest bit inferior to him. He wondered, did you take his words to heart? A part of him felt regret though he couldn’t help but be prideful of himself. There truly was no one in the world like he, still, Ajax valued your strength and company even if his manner of expression was odd.
“Thank you for inviting me in but I’m afraid I must be going now.”
“You’ve only just got here!” You frown, stumbling forward on your knees to get closer to him, “You can’t leave now,” your eyes grown round and wobbly as something, perhaps insecurity or doubt flashes amongst them, “You once told me if given the chance you’d walk away from the Fatui and travel across Tevyat with me so why now when I’ve offered you a place free of responsibility are you trying to leave.”
It all tumbles out faster than you intend for it to, slapping your hands over your mouth to bottle up any lingering words that might jump out.
Ajax runs his fingers through his hair, ruffling his copper locks, “When I said that stuff, well I forgot myself,” he says, his lips curling up with distaste, “I’m kind of a bad guy and you know this,” sighing, he shakes his head, “You don’t want my company, it’ll only slow you down.”
“If I cared about any of that, do you truly think I’d have tried to make a connection with you?”
Patting the floor beside you, you give Ajax your best pleading eyes so rather than run away, maybe he’d talk to you. So he sits, all arms and legs, lanky. His jacket opened even further to expose more of his stomach, his vision clinking against his belt.
“I’ve never had friends before, not really.”
It’s true.
His fellow harbingers were his coworkers and nothing more, close relationships in his line of work were nonexistent. At fourteen he left home, he’d changed and no one wanted him. Friends weren’t hard to come by for someone like him.
“There's a first time for everything,” you say turning back to the fire, “And you have me and Zhongli, kind of, and Xinyan too.”
Ajax frowns, there’s something more he wants to say but he can’t. It’d be cruel, unnecessary so he lets it sit in his mind. He doesn’t have friends in the way you do, no one who’d have his back through thick and thin. Ajax doesn't expect you to be that for him, and he isn’t sure he wants you to.
“Maybe.”
He doesn’t want to just be your friend.
The thought strikes him when he finds himself admiring the wistful look in your eyes. A friend didn’t admire their friends, or that’s what he thought, Ajax couldn’t be sure what friends were supposed to do with one another. It made him feel pathetic. He was in his twenties, the youngest person to ever become a harbinger, adept in all forms of battles sans the bow, he still needed to work on that, and yet he didn’t know what this thing between you and he was.
We’re friends supposed to want to kiss their friend?
“Don’t sell yourself short, there’s a lot to like once you get past the exterior,” you smile to yourself, twisting the fur of the rug between your fingers, “There’s a lot that I like.”
“There is?”
The admission draws him closer, like a magnet desperate to cling to the nearest surface.
You nod your head, your bottom lip catching between your teeth, “Oh yeah, lots,” it doesn’t feel like a joke when you say it and his heart dares to jump in his chest, “For starters, you’re a good cook.”
“Oh yeah?”
You nod with a laugh.
“What else?” Ajax needs to hear more, he can’t live without hearing more praise from you, “Do you think I have dashing good looks? Or perhaps do you admire my exceptional battle stance?”
He regrets those words as soon as they leave him, but he’s lacking something, something that stopped him from making an ass out of himself in front of you.
With your finger pressed to your chin, you pretend to be lost in thought. His words don’t bother you nor does his demeanour, “Of course I do,” surprisingly, there’s no hint of sarcasm, “But actually, I was thinking that the things I like about you are far greater than the things that scare me about you.”
There’s a hint of bashful embarrassment behind your voice, coating your words and leaving you covered in a heat far more powerful than the dwindling fire before you. It doesn’t disappoint him though, it excites him, the knowledge that the good outweighs the bad, that you see him and not the masquerade of the man who presented himself to you so long ago.
“I don’t scare you?”
Ajax inches closer, strangely embolden to close the space he put between the two of you out of fear. It’s comfortable in the air between you, he isn’t afraid to breathe it in and share it. He never thought you were delicate, he knew you could handle yourself— you’d slain your fair share of dragons, he just wondered if he’d do something wrong. A stray comment could crush someone like a flower beneath the heavy sole of a foot. Ajax could be cruel even if he didn’t intend to.
“No.”
He wants to laugh, his own parents could not handle him. Though, in his younger days fresh out of the Abyss, he’d admit he was a tad more unrestrained. Either way, Ajax has always been a handful, his lust for chaos and bloodshed not exactly the trademark for a hero or even a likeable man. If it wasn’t fear that his presence caused, it was discomfort, even disdain.
“Though, I suppose that those are my personal feelings blindsiding me.”
It catches him off guard, the notion that you harbour personal feelings for him, “Care to elaborate?”
That’s all he can muster up, a cool few words.
“Well,” you start, nervously picking at the, “I simply mean that I’m able to look past all the things you’ve done and see the person underneath.”
“And your feelings? They are…?”
“Childe-“
“Ajax,” he mutters, turning his head to the side, “My name is Ajax.”
With a slight nod you sputter, “Ajax, let’s not,” his true name on your lips is perhaps the most satisfying thing he’s ever experienced, “Let’s just enjoy each other’s company.”
He feels the need to push, prod, and poke until you break and ‘fess up to whatever it is you’re keeping from him.
Ajax inches closer, his hands settling on either side of you. Dull blue eyes bore into yours, leaning in so close his breath fans across your face. He can smell the faint aroma of glaze lilies and apples. You’d taste of them, he’s sure of it, he caught you snacking on them just before you roped him into visiting your abode.
“I don’t think I can do that, not until you’re honest with me.”
Pressing your hand to his chest, you laugh, “You’re terrible,” it’s without malice though he notices how your breath catches ever so slightly, “Being so presumptuous and demanding when I wouldn’t dare to do the same.”
He raises a brow at you but doesn’t falter.
“I’ve taken notice,” you grit, “Of the way you stare when you think I’m paying no mind,” there's a moment of pause that overtakes you but you press your lips firmly in a line, “So let’s just forget feelings and complicated emotions and just enjoy a moment of peace.”
Something comes over him, a surge of adrenaline or maybe it was desperation; whatever it was, it filled him with the overwhelming need to kiss you. So he did, cupping your cheeks with a depraved fever, all the air in his lungs disappearing the moment your lips met his. They’re slightly chapped, warm as is the rest of your face, whether from your own flushed skin or the roaring fire dwindling away behind you. The small squeak you let out dies on your tongue, your tensed body melting into his grasp, your own two hands taking hold of his shoulders, twisting the fabric of his coat between your fingers. Ajax nearly collapses into you, inching himself as close as he possibly can to you.
Pulling away from him, your head hangs low between your two bodies. “Ajax,” you pant, furling his coat in your fists, “That is the exact opposite of what I said.”
“I want you.”
The admission is truthful, it weighed so heavily on his chest that just uttering those three words filled him with such relief. So, he said it again, mumbling against your lips and he desperately curled against you. Sighing into his mouth, you melted against him, your own desperation dwarfing whatever lingering apprehension you may have had. He wasn’t any ordinary member of the Fatui and you knew him well enough to know when he was being genuine.
It felt immensely better to succumb to the calling of your heart than to deny yourself the wealth of bliss that lay ahead.
The fire crackles to life, growing so hot that the clothing you wear is unbearable.
“Do you want me, too?” Ajax asks, his lips chapped and crackled, though slick with saliva, “Because, I’ve been thinking about this for so long … Dreaming of it.”
His eyes, however brilliant of a blue had always looked so pallid and devoid of life, blazed with something startling as he peered at you through his lashes.
“I don’t think I could go on if this is all I could have of you.”
You suck in a sharp breath, your eyes flickering between his face and the carpet. His words sent butterflies fluttering amongst your rib cage, your stomach growing heavy and twisted as his gaze seared holes into your skin. Wisps of copper-coloured hair brush against your forehead, his breath hot on your face as he rests his head on yours.
“Shut up,” you mutter, tossing aside the caution you used as an excuse to push away whatever it is that you felt for him, “Shut up and kiss me, Ajax.”
Ajax laughed against your lips, his entire body practically vibrating with need and something scarily close to desire. He’s never desired much, not in the way one ought to and he’s never desired another person. The closest thing he could compare to such an overwhelming desire was his drive, it was so powerful it too often overshadowed his morals. Sometimes he wished he never felt any emotion like that but now, he didn’t. It only took a split second for him to press against you, his lips greedily claiming yours and his hands finding your body.
And he kissed you for all the times he thought of kissing you, desperately praying to the Tsaritza and even Celestia that none of this was some sort of cruel mirage, that you were really there, your fingers toying with his hair, his name hot on your lips when he pressed his hands against your rib cage, giving your torso a small squeeze to remind him that you really were there.
“There anything else I can do for you?” He mutters against your mouth, nipping at your bottom lip when you chuckle, “Because I’d do anything for you.”
Your heart feels like it’s about to leap straight from your chest and splatter out onto the floor before you. The apples of your cheeks grew warm as blood blotted the surface of your skin– he was just so cute, it made you melt.
“You’re eager, I like that.”
Tightly gripping the lapel of his jacket you couldn’t stop the laughter that bubbled in your chest.
“I prefer perfectionist.”
Ajax grins, a bit smug and you know he enjoys the way you playfully roll his eyes. It was true, he was a perfectionist. He could fight with just about any weapon you threw at him like he’d been using it for years and he was enough of a masochist to use a bow and arrow every day until he mastered it. You wondered what that might mean for you– if he’d be good– if he knew what he was doing. He had to have been because a pit had begun to form in your stomach and your breath grew laboured as his teeth grazed against the supple skin of your neck.
Plucking the Fatui mask off the side of his head you hum, “Gonna show me what that means?” you ask, a gasp cutting you off as he pulls your shirt off you.
“You’re beautiful,” is all he says, his mouth working down your body with a flurry of sloppy, open-mouthed kisses in tow. His teeth and bottom lip drag against the smooth expanse of your chest and down to your belly. The blunt edge of his teeth digs into the fat of your hip as he takes a playful bite, threading your fingers into his hair and you roughly tug them, “Ouch!”
“That’s what you get!” You chuckle, pouting down at him, “If I see teeth marks you’re gonna be in big trouble!”
Ajax rolls the waistband of your bottoms further down your hips and your thighs. You kick your legs out to aid in his undressing, chuckling to yourself at the garish display that unfolds before you as he slowly peels off your socks. The weight of his gaze on your near-naked body doesn’t feel as heavy as you thought it should. Your shoulders ease and the pinpricks of nerves that spark off your skin roll into waves of excitement.
Your adventures and escapades while thrilling had long since worn your spirit; the feel of his calloused hands and chapped lips on your body gave your spirit new life.
For too long you danced around the adoration you felt for Ajax, afraid of all the labyrinthine complexities that shrouded him like an endless smog. It might have been love, you realise this now that you’ve dove head first into the pool of desire that too often filled your thoughts. Ajax filled up your life in a similar way, slinking between the nooks and crannies, popping up when you least expected it. A Fatui Harbinger wasn’t much of a travelling companion, not by any conventional standards, they were much too busy to be anything more than a passing ship in the night.
But even so, Ajax has always been a man of his word.
When he confessed to you that there was nothing more he longed for than to be your travelling companion, he did everything in his power to bring that wish to live. You had thought him foolish, said as much to his face and yet here the two of you were together in the one place you could call home in Teyvat. Years of late-night chatter and heated exchanges coming to fruition. It left your skin tingling, heat bubbling across the surface as you watched him take in the sight of you.
Now as he cups your cheeks, you’re starting to regret not allowing him entry into your sacred space sooner.
“Can I tell you how stunning you are, or are you going to pull my hair again?”
The cheeky smile he sports does little to disguise his flushed cheeks or the way his eyes remain widened and glued to your bare figure.
“You can say it,” you say in a small, bashful voice.
“You are absolutely breathtaking.”
There’s adoration in his eyes, it pools so strongly in his irises that you have to turn away. Your skin burns pleasantly with want. But his raw emotion makes you shy.
“Thank you, Ajax,” you whisper, ducking your head down.
His calloused fingers graze your chin in an instant, tipping your head upward until your gaze meets his, “Can I touch you?” He murmurs with such sincerity it makes you whimper, “Please?”
“Yes,” you pant, your eyes lidded.
Ajax tentatively drags his other hand down the length of your spine before settling between your thighs. Gently, he strokes your pelvis, his fingers lost amongst the thatch of curls that leads him to your cunt. Your hips twitch eagerly as he brushes against your clit.
“There,” you whisper, “Touch me there, Ajax.”
He nods, his mouth slightly agape, a moan slipping out. Your sensitive sex can hardly handle how he circles his fingers around your clit even for a moment before he dips into your hole to collect some of your arousal on his digits.
You sigh lowly, digging your fingers into the meat of his muscular shoulders, your head daring to tip back. His thumb keeps your head firmly in place as he darts between watching your expression unfold upon your visage and your needy cunt. Your slick folds swallow up his hand as he languidly strokes you, taking note of what you seem to enjoy. Blood prickles around your nails. His freckled skin breaks and bleeds from your rough treatment but it makes Ajax moan even louder. You keen at his obscene sounds, your own mixing in. You can see his cock straining through his slacks, the grey fabric dampening.
“Please,” you whimper, pressing your bottom lip between your teeth, “Keep touching me like that … I’m going to-”
“Can I kiss you? I want to kiss you down there?” Ajax asks needily, his skin flushed a pinky hue and gleaming with sweat.
“Please, please, please.”
Your back is pressed flat against the floor before Ajax has settled between your thighs. His chapped lips leave balmy kisses between your breasts, down the expanse of your round tummy, and amongst your pubes. You shiver when his hot breath fans against your wet cunt, your clit twitching in anticipation. Your fingers find his way into his tousled locks with ease, the blunt edge of your nails scraping against his scalp as he drags his tongue through your folds.
“You taste like heaven,” he groans, wrapping his arms around your thighs, “I swear to you that I’m not exaggerating.”
A giggle bubbles up in your throat, “I already like you, there's no need to flatter,” you joke, drawing in a sharp breath when he sucks on your clit, “Archons above… Please do that again.”
Ajax obliges you, obedient like a dog but twice as loyal. Your pleasure is his sole focus as he lavishes your pussy with licks and kisses, his grip bruising but evidently filled with tender devotion. You come undone on his tongue with dizzying ease. Your head swirls and swims in search of purchase and reprieve but leaves you stranded as your vision spots. The only thing that keeps you grounded in reality is the burn of his skin on yours.
Your cunt gushes and wets your thighs, and his chin but Ajax doesn’t seem to mind. He’s too eager to have his lips on yours again. You taste yourself on him and it fills you with a turbulent pool of lava. His erection pressed against your pussy, eliciting a moan that you swallow.
“I want you inside of me.”
“Yeah?” Ajax preens into your mouth.
You nod your head before you’re able to form words, “Yes,” you pant, “Now.”
His belt clicks and clunks haphazardly as he rushes to undress himself. You watch with a small smile and laugh. His eagerness made your stomach flutter and your heart jump. Your rib cage rattled with each new summersault. You wondered if he could hear it.
The sight of his flushed, dripping cock makes your cunt clench and twitch with need. A sharp breath passes between the two of you as he drags the fat, engorged head between your folds to gather your arousal. The wooden floorboards creak as you claw at them, your chest heaving with haggard breaths.
“I’ll go slow,” Ajax promises, tenderly caressing your cheek.
A muffled noise of agreement passes through you and reaches his ears, but in all honesty you didn’t much mind if he didn’t.
His cock stretches you out deliciously, slowly filling you to the brim. Ajax braces himself on the ground, his arms caging you in. Your hands wrap around his wrists, your thumbs pressing against this pulse point. His blood pumps erratically through his veins. Your heart matches his and that thrills you to no end.
Ajax presses his forehead against yours when he’s fully sheathed inside of you, his chest flush with yours.
“Are you okay, Ajax?”
He hums, his chest rumbling, “Yes,” he whispers, his nose brushing against yours, “But if I move … I’ll finish.”
He doesn't want to finish.
Something about that pleases you.
“It’s okay,” you assure, “It’s okay if you do because we can do this again.”
“Yeah?”
His hips rock into yours, his cock slowly rubbing against your snug, slick walls. The head of his cock stretches out your entrance before Ajax slides him back inside of you. Your breath trembles and you shake with need. You can feel him twitching inside of you.
“Yeah.”
Ajax nuzzles his nose into the side of your neck, his sweat damp hair tickling your cheek, “Fuck, I love you.”
Ajax’s hips stutter as he thrusts languidly into you, his pace inconsistent as he contemplates savouring you and indulging in his own ravenous appetite.
“I love you too,” tears prickle at your eyes as you’re overcome with emotion.
Warmth spreads throughout your cunt as he spills his spend in you with a final thrust. Throwing your hands over his shoulders, you burrow your face into his shoulder, hiding away your expression. You’re sure he can feel it pressed against his skin but you placate yourself with the knowledge that he can’t see you unravel before him. Though, you wet him with your tears that spill past your lash line.
Your heart pangs, with sadness, with adoration, with contentment. The current sweeps you up, your consciousness lost amongst your emotions. You loved him. You well and truly loved him, Ajax. Not even his status as a Harbinger could change that. And, you weren’t sure you wanted it to.

A/N: Soooo I had another Roy fanfic written completely in the drafts…and I hated it 💀. So I rewrote it and here it is. It’s a wee bit longer than my normal fanfics and I wanted to add more fluff and more descriptive detail instead of just smut. Please leave me some comments if you like this or if you don’t lol. Thank you.
A/N: I got my own ginger so it makes me wanna write about my second favorite ginger since I hardly see writing for him outside of him being a throuple with Jason. Roy Harper is just as hot as Jason because man’s literally got himself out of a bad place just for his daughter 😭🥹. Our responsibility king. Also Lian is aged up to 7 years old in this.

Roy Harper was a hardworking man. He slaves over his small mercenary missions with the occasional events of saving the city in the mix of raising a 4 foot ball of energy all on his own. He felt exhausted most the time, but that exhaustion keeps him out of trouble. It also gets him out of any venture for a personal life.
Sure, Roy had the Outlaws who would swing by after missions just to hangout and drink, and the Titans make a rare appearance to visit their favorite niece. Even Ollie and Dinah would occasionally come by to visit. But, after Jade came and left him high and dry, his heart was hollow…
Lian was his whole world and stars. He never thought he could love someone as much as he loved his little girl. He dragged himself out of his drug addiction just so he can take care of her, and she should be enough to make the backbreaking labor enough.
However, he notices how the doodled Mother’s Day cards that used to litter the fridge for Jade began to dwindle as her eyes began to look longingly at the other parents who had two parents and a pair or two of siblings. Lian says she’s happy to live with her Dad, who was her bestest friend in the world, but the occasional crayon drawings say otherwise.
The stick figures of Lian and Roy with a faceless woman and another stick figure child making it very clear that Lian wanted a mother figure, or at least a sibling.
Maybe one day Roy can give it to her…but right now he was too tired.
Tumblr media
“What do you mean you forgot??” Roy yells into the phone as he speed walks back to his apartment complex.
He should have known better than to ask Garfield to wait at his apartment for Lian to come home and babysit for a couple of hours while he went grocery shopping. This week has been hell on him. He’s been dealing with some of Black Mask’s crew trying to expand to Star City and when he would try to get some sleep, the noise of some new neighbors moving in woke him up constantly. This was really his only chance to go do anything and Beast Boy forgot to come.
“I asked you to do one thing, Gar! Be here and watch Lian until I got back. How can forget to watch a 7 year old girl?” Roy seethes as he walks into the main lobby and bolting up the stairs.
His heart was pounding with all the possible scenarios. He knows he’s overreacting, that she was just probably sitting by the locked door either entertaining herself or crying. But he also couldn’t help but be paranoid that she strayed off to go find him or someone snatched her up.
His worst fear coming to reality as he walks onto his floor and sees no one. He quickly gets to his door and jiggles the nob, feeling the secured lock.
Just as Roy was about to scream at Garfield again to relieve the unrelenting anxiety, the sound of a door opening behind him catches his attention as a familiar ring fills the static.
“Daddy!” Lian yells as Roy turns around, relief filling his body as he kneels down to greet the girl.
“Oh fuck, you scared me.” He says, as he sighs in relief. His strong arms holding the small girl tight to his chest.
“I’m sorry,” the girl mumbles with sympathy pooling in her dark eyes. “I was walking Wren and she wanted me to see her new room.”
‘Wren? Who’s Wren?’ Roy thought as he quirks his eyebrow just as movement catches his eyes again to the door.
Another little girl was standing in the door way to the apartment. She looked the same age as Lian with colorful ribbons in her hair and the matching Star Academy uniform on as Lian.
‘Another Star Academy student? There isn’t any other student living here…’
Then the realization that this was one of the new neighbors hits him as a taller figure appears behind Wren. Her voice throwing Roy in a trance as she scolds the girl.
“Wren, I told you to not stare. Especially at strangers.” Her voice gently but protective as she kept her eyes on Roy. Her hand already on her daughter’s shoulder as her daughter apologizes.
“I’m sorry, Mama. I wanted to see Lian’s Dad and see if I can come over…”
The woman was the same age as him from what he can tell. Healthy, glowing skin despite the dark bags under her eyes. Her hair glowed like a halo in the fluorescent light of the hallway despite the messy frizz of what he thought used to be a protective hairstyle that her work day destroyed. Her boxy scrubs doing noting to hide her figure as the familiar logo of Star City General Hospital shined brightly.
“Dad.” Lian’s inpatient voice cuts through his daze as he looks to his daughter.
“Huh?” He says as his daughter giggles.
“I said, can I show Wren my room? I wanna show her all my Bluey toys.” She says excitedly.
His eyes briefly flickering over to the other excited little girl before stating gently, “I have no problem with it, but did you ask Wren’s mom if she can.”
“Yea! Miss (L/N) said it was alright.” She says happily.
‘Miss? I guess she’s not married…’ he thought as he handed Lian his keys with a joking quip, “Don’r throw a party while I’m over here talking to Miss (L/N).”
The girls giggle before running over to Roy’s apartment and entering. Roy stands up to his full height as he gives the mother a smile. She returns it with her own as she says,
“Normally Wren is pretty shy, so I was happy to see she made friends with a good kid.” She says as she pushes some stray hair out of her face before offering him her hand. “I’m (Y/N) by the way.”
“Roy. Roy Harper.” He introduces himself as he shakes her hand. He couldn’t help but smile brighter as they pulled their hands away, proud that his daughter helped out a new kid.
“Lian doesn’t have much of a shy side to her. I blame it on her mom’s genetics.” He jokes with a soft chuckle.
“You and your wife must be proud.” She says softly as she props her hip against the doorframe.
“Oh no, I’m not married.” He corrects her as he nervously stuffs his hands in his pocket as he felt a pang of gloom over his heart. “It’s just me and Lian.”
Her eyes dropped as she crosses her arms over her chest as she mumbles, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to assume…”
“No, youre alright.” He assures her with a shrug. “Honestly, I should be apologizing for your first impression of me being my kid locked out of my apartment.”
She giggles as she waves him off as she says, “Lian told me that her normal babysitters weren’t in town and that ‘Uncle Gar’ was suppose to be here.”
“Yeaaa.” He groans as he defends himself. “I promise that i’m normally on top of the babysitting situation since I normally work nights.”
She nods as she says, “I understand. I have to find my own babysitter now that I moved across the country. I work days at the hospital.”
The idea seeming to strike them at the same time as both their little girls scream in delight as they play in the apartment over.
A compromise between two single parents.
Tumblr media
The deal was easy and benefited both of them. Since she had to work 12 hour shifts on a 3 on, two off basis, (Y/N) would drop the girls off at school on her way to work, and Roy adjusted his “work” time so he can be home when they come home from school and babysit until Wren’s mom gets off from work.
When (Y/N) was off and Roy is working, She will keep both girls at her apartment and gets them ready for school in the mornings before they tag off.
During the rare occurrence that Roy had to go away on a “business trip”, the girls would just be with (Y/N) full time with Roy’s promise that it will only be a week and he will watch them when the weekend comes so she can rest.
This has been the routine for three months, and Roy enjoyed it more than he should. It felt great knowing that Lian was in capable, non vigilante hands when he was away and she had a female role model to who doesn’t fight crime in spandex.
Roy also adored Wren. She took a minute to break out of her shell, but she reminded him a lot of Jason. A quiet type who surprised him with her temper and mischief. He can see why (Y/N) is the kind of parent she is and how she easily keeps Wren and Lian in line.
Over the weeks, Wren and Lian became the dynamic duo of Star Academy. They did everything together and would cry if they couldn’t. The two even begged their respective parents for matching Bluey backpacks and sparkly shoes so they can match all the time. They even developed a cute habit of leaving colored drawings under the apartment doors for the other to find. The friendship was very heart warming and helped form the bond between their parents.
The two had a lot in common too. More than they expected.
Tumblr media
“Wanna beer?” Roy offered as he stood up from the couch.
“No thank you.” She answers as she focuses on wrapping the present infront of her.
Tomorrow was Wren’s birthday, and while the girls are having a sleep over in Lian’s room, Roy and (Y/N) prepped for her birthday party.
“You sure, doll?” He says as he grabs a couple beers. He sits beside her and holds his open bottle near her as he jokes. “You gonna let me drink alone, and make me look depressed?”
Her eyes darken as she scoots away from him. The air turning cold as she snaps on him. “I said No, Roy.”
Roy immediately freezes before frowning in concern. He puts the beer on the coffee table as he whispers to her. “Hey, I’m sorry…”
Her eyes relax as her shoulders slump. She sighs softly as she mumbles. “No, I’m sorry…”
She reaches into her pocket a pulls out a familiar looking token and hands it to him. A 5 year sobriety coin. His brows shoot up as he looks at her in shock.
She giggles somberly as she says, “it’s not mine. It’s my Dad’s.”
She pulls her knees to her chest as she looks to the wall around the muted tv. Pictures lining the wall of Lian and Roy with some of just them or with friends. She smiles softly as she recounts.
“My dad was a bad alcoholic, but a good dad. He would take me with him everywhere he could and it would be like everyday was a good day. I was too young to realize he drank too much or he yelled at my mom a little too harshly.” She says as she picks at the material of her socked covered feet.
“It wasn’t until I got pregnant with Wren that he realized he had to sober up. He managed to stay clean for almost 6 years until a drunk driver hit him.” She chuckles sadly as she sees the irony in her dad’s death. “He even help me leave my ex who was also a bad drinker. I guess seeing my dad doing it my whole life, I thought it was normal…”
Her arms wrapping around herself before finally looking back at Roy. Her eyes meeting his green ones, her gaze watery as she wipes the tears away.
“I’m sorry, that was too much to put on you..” she said as her voice wavers a bit. “You can drink though I don’t-“
Roy gets up and takes his beers to the kitchen. Confused by his abruptness, she follows him, only to see him dumping out his open beer and starting to dump out the other one. She looks at him confused as he finishes dumping the liquid out before he pulls out his wallet and pulls out a coin.
He hands both coins to her as she reads the one he pulled out of his wallet. 7 years sobriety.
“You were…?” She mumbles is disbelief before he answers.
“Yep, former heroine addict…” he says as he leans back against the counter. His arms flexing as he crosses his arms over his chest. His eyes shining with seriousness as he says,
“I understand why your dad got help. I did the same thing when I found out about Lian, and I don’t ever wanna do anything that can jeopardize giving her a better life than I had…”
An emotion crosses his face that makes her nervous but excited as he admits.
“And I don’t want to do anything that would drive you out of mine.”
Tumblr media
“Please, (Y/N)!” Lian begs as Wren stands behind her with her puppy dog eyes shining behind her.
Those were the famous last words that were said when Lian and Wren convinced her to allow them to go to a slumber party while Roy was out of town. (Y/N) didn’t see the harm since it was Friday night and the girls had been good. Besides, Roy was supposed to be home late tonight so he can enjoy his Saturday morning resting.
It was a good idea. Or at least that’s what she thought before she got mugged on her way home from dropping off the girls.
The woman didn’t see it coming when she was snatched off the street and pinned to an alley wall as a disgust voice coos at her.
“Easy, Babygirl.” The masked man purrs as his dirty finger nails digged into her arms. “Just give me your purse and we can both walk away happy.”
“Fuck off!” She says as she tries to yank away from him .
“Now don’t be such a-!” His growl interrupted as the swoop of air shoots between them. She looks to where it lands and sees a red arrow buried into the wall behind them. The mugger was the first to look back to where it came from before gasping,
“Arsenal? What’s he doing here?” He curses as he pulls (Y/N) in front of him, making the struggling woman a human shield. “I’m armed, and I’m not afraid to hurt the bitch!” He says as he pulls out a knife and holds it to her neck.
(Y/N) only heard about the vigilante through the news. Apparently he used to be Green Arrow’s sidekick before he went solo for some reason and he was a rough guy. He works with the Red Hood who was known for killing criminals so she understood why the man was scared as a figure dropped down from a rooftop with his bow ready to shoot.
Her panic setting in as the bite of the blade was pressed hard to her neck, the anxious blade knicking her. Her panic eyes were set on the archer as she watches him slowly approach.
He looked…familiar. His height and built was impressive despite him being more on the leaner side and his features not obstructed by his sunglasses and hat reminded her of Roy…
“Let the girl go.” Arsenal warns the burglar. His voice was deep, but it didn’t sound natural. It was like he was trying to make his voice sound different. “You’re just pissing me off more and I’m gonna end up breaking your eye socket in.”
The criminal trembles before deciding the best escape plan. He grabs ahold of her purse before throwing her in Arsenal’s direction. Unprepared to the violent shove, (Y/N) falls to the ground before the vigilante can catch her. Her yelp filling space as the hero kneels down beside her to make sure she wasn’t stabbed.
“Hey, you alright?” He says as he scans her body for any serious injury.
She pushes herself up, cringes as her wrist throbs. His large gloved hands on her back and shoulder as he helps her stand when she notices his exposed arm. A familiar faded green tattoo visible on his bicep as the pieces fall together.
“Roy?…” She asks as she looks up Arsenal. Despite his eyes being covered, she can tell he was looking at her in a panic that she figured him out.
“Yea…” He confirms before looking behind her as he realizes the motherfucker stole her purse. He pulls his aviators down to the bridge of his nose, his eyes shining in concern as he mumbles to her.
“Go home. I’ll meet you there so we can talk about it.”
The look in his eyes and the pounding adrenaline makes her fear melt away as she nods her head.
“Okay.”
Tumblr media
The throbbing pain in her wrist didn’t stop when she finally made it back to her apartment building, acting as her anchor as the revelation that Roy’s secret night job was him being a Robin Hood copycat.
Thinking back on it, she should have figured he wasn’t a normal guy. Constant bruises, noticeable limps, and stolen ibuprofen were a routine in their life.
The thought made her stop for a second in the stair way.
Their life. The one they shared for months basically together. At first it was just two single parents helping each other out while their daughters bonded. Then her and Roy began to get close, close enough to where they were constant in each other’s apartments as the other child was.
Now he saved her life…maybe he already did that the first day in the city and she babysat a kid she didn’t know…
As she reaches the arch way between the two apartments, her hands searches her pockets for her keys when disappointment answers her.
The keys were in her purse.
With a sigh, she decides to sit on the ground besides Roy’s door as she waits. (Y/N) curls herself into a ball with her knees to her chest as she felt the familiar feeling of exhaustion nipping her eyelashes.
(Y/N) was a hard working woman. When she wasn’t working herself like a dog in the Emergency Room, she was handling a 4 foot ball of attitude. She didn’t have time for any ventures outside of that. She loves Wren with all her heart, but that doesn’t help the hollow part of her heart from throbbing…maybe someday she can give Wren a father who’s worth something. But right now, she was too damn tired.
The door opens behind her as she jumps awake. The woman didn’t even realize she almost fell asleep, but a warm hand opens in front of her as she looks up.
Roy was standing in front of her now. A grey zip up was pulled over his shoulders to cover his costume as her purse hanged on his arm. His soft smile made her stomach flutter as he breaks the silence.
“I guess I got some explaining to do…”
She doesn’t respond right away. Instead she gives him her hand and stands up with his help. Her injured wrist cradled to her chest as they enter the apartment. The movement still felt natural despite the circumstances. Roy didn’t even have to ask about her arm to know she needed first aid on her wrist.
He tended to her sprained wrist as he tells her his life story. She already knew about the general events of his childhood and his life with Oliver Queen, but didn’t know he was a sidekick turned mercenary. The whole story made her head spin as she thought about the man tending to her as a boy wearing yellow and red spandex and managing to attract a female assassin who was Lian’s actual mother…
“So…” Roy says as he expects some sort of reaction out of her.
“So… You are a vigilante…Ollie and Dinah are too.” She recounts as she rubs her bandaged wrists. “And your ex is an assassin…”
(Y/N) sighs before looking at the nervous ginger fidgeting in his seat. His nerves were haywire.
‘What if she leaves?’
‘What if she doesn’t want anything to do with me or Lian anymore?”
‘Is she gonna keep Wren from Lian and Me?’
“Okay”
The phrase makes Roy’s neck snap was he blinks wildly at her. His heart pounding as he scans her completely calm face with a soft smile on her face as she giggles at his baffled expression.
“Okay? That’s all you gotta say?”
“I mean sure I’m not a fan of the whole putting yourself in danger shtick, but if that’s the only downside to you, then I’m okay with it.” She says calmly before giving him a serious glare. “Just as long as the girls are never endangered.”
Roy couldn’t help but fall out of his chair and on his knees infront of her as he laughs. His hands pulling her into his lap as he enjoys the chill of relief as his body yearns for the reassurance of her touch. It wasn’t until he cupped her face that he realized just how intimate their position was.
Definitely not something friends should be doing….
But are they just friends?
“Roy…” She mumbles. Her eyes speaking to his soul as the exhaustion and months of connecting and yearning reach the apex. Or maybe it was the reflection of his own feelings bubbling up as he moves her hair away from her face.
“I promise I’ll never let anything happen to you or our girls…I can’t afford to lose them…or us.”
The first move wasn’t clear. The blur of teeth and tongue distracting him as their hands held the pair close. His hands adjusting her to straddle his lap as hers ran through his hair and over his strong shoulders. His mouth trailing down her jawline and caresses her throat as her hips began to grind into his.
“Aw, poor thing…” Roy coos as his hips rolled to meet hers. His eyes shining with adoration as he marks her smooth skin. “How long has it been since anyone took care of you?”
She rolls her eyes at his teasing before pulling his head back by his hair. “When was the last time you got took care of, Red?”
He glares playfully with a smirk as he says, “Don’t call me Red.”
She giggles as she presses a soft kiss to his cheek before trailing along his jawline. Her breath burning his soul as she whispers, “Then how about…baby?”
He rips her back away by her nape before crashing his lips onto hers. The desperation dewing the walls around them as their soft moans and movement of clothes made their company.
His hands hungry as he finally pulls away from her long enough to push off her sweatshirt. A groan of appreciation fills the space as he admires her body. Every visible scar, freckle, mole, stretch mark, and roll made him want to explore every story that lead her to his arms. But that’s for another time.
His mouth watered as he looks back up at her.
“So pretty, Ma…”
His prayer is followed by his mouth devouring her skin as he kisses her collarbone. Her feathery moans filling the space while his hands caresses her exposed torso. He trails down to the valley of her breasts before pushing the offending bra up so they spill out. Roy couldn’t resist kissing around her sensitive skin, teasing her as her hands tangle in the mess of ginger on his head.
“Baby please…” she whines as her hips roll impulsively on his.
Her underwear was impossibly uncomfortable. Her body burning like iron as her intimate parts tried to cool down. The friction of her jean covered core against the rough tackle gear of his suit did not help as his hand began to grope her other breast.
His chuckle vibrates against the globe of fat as his fingers pinch the stiffening nub.
“Can’t wait to get me in bed? My, you certainly are a romantic.”
Before she can shoot back at him, he withdraws completely from her chest and his hands roughly cup her thighs. In a swift motion, Roy picks her up as he stands up from the floor. The pair share a soft laugh as her brief shock and his amusement leads them to his bedroom.
Once he places her on the bed, (Y/N) sheds off her sweatshirt and bra as Roy whistles in appreciation.
“I love when you strip for me.” He jokes as lust clouded his vision. “Can you do that again but slower?”
She glares at him as she leans back onto her hands as she tilts her head. Mischief fills her eyes as she examines him up and down with her lip between her teeth.
“Then how about you put a show on for me since you want one?” She teases.
His smirk widens as he decides to follow her suggestion. Roy rolls his shoulders back before reaching to slowly unzip the jacket covering his suit. Making a show of pulling it off his arms before twirling it over his head and tossing it.
Laughing follows his movements as he slowly strips off his gear as her hungry and amused eyes followed every rolling muscle exposed to her.
“Damn…” She whispers as a nearly nude Roy begins to crawl on the bed towards her. His prominent bones straining against his boxers as she continues. “And I wondered why you didn’t have a girlfriend…”
He laughs as he cages her in his arms. His ginger hair acting as a curtain over his forehead as he shrugs above her. “Maybe I was waiting on the right one.”
Their lips meet again as their hands began to map out each other. Soon all the rest of the clothes joined the floor.
His erection bobbing between them as his eyes remains trained on hers. His fingers trailing down to her exposed sex, groaning as he runs a finger between her folds.
“Already wet? And without foreplay?” He asks as faux sympathy plays on his face. “My darling clearly neglected that she gets wet from a few kisses…”
“I’m not neglected…” She protests before she whimpers as the bite from his finger entering her unused cunt hits her.
“I wasn’t talking body you directly, baby.” He corrects as his finger thrusts softly along her fleshy walls. The lewd sounds of her moans mixed with her wet sex made him melt as she begs,
“Fuck…quit teasing already, you bastard…”
He decides to oblige by adding another finger to speed up his pace. The thumb on the other hand joining the fun as it rubbed patterns into her puffy clit.
“I got get you all nice and ready..” Roy mumbles as he leans down to press soft kisses on her stomach up to her breasts. The mixture of gentle pecks mixed with the harsh stimulation below driving his lover insane as her hips arched to meet his hands.
“You deserve all that I can give for being such a good mom .” He praises her as he feels her walls clench around his knuckles when he finds the spongy mass he was searching for.
He contradicts himself by abusing that with archer like precision as the coil roughly tightens in her gut. (Y/N)’s gasps and cries desperate for the climax as she grips the hard flesh of his back. Just as she was reaching the peak, he stops.
“Asshole!” She curses at him as he pulls out of her. He chuckles before licking the tip of his soiled finger. Her eyes burning onto his mouth as he groans at the taste.
“Sweet as I thought..” he praises as he uses the hand to pump his cock. He climbs on top of her as he continues. “I’m gonna have to have a better taste next time, but I need you too bad right now…”
She calms her raging breaths as she smiles softly. “Next time?”
Roy pulls her legs up to her chest as he hooks her ankles on his shoulders. His red hot tip played with her clit as he rubs it through her soaked folds. He chuckles at her hopeful voice as he leans down to press a soft peck to her lips.
“Of course,” Roy whispers as his tip catches the entrance. “I don’t think I can go back to being friends after this..”
He slowly pushes into her as her hands shoot onto him as best she could. With her legs pinned to her chest, she can only grasp his bicep and his lower back as she is forced to endure the painful stretch of her neglected cunt welcoming him.
A groan ripping in his throat as he finally seats himself fully into her before peppering kisses on her face.
“Was gonna ask you out on a nice date without the kids around…gonna see if we would be a good fit.” He mutters as his mind seems to run on blanks. His hips rolling to gain some friction in the tight confines of her walls.
Her little breathless moans encouraging him as Roy begins to thrust shallowly to work her open before he pulls out almost completely. He slams back into her befor continuing his non coherent comment.
“But fuck…I don’t regret this. God, if I knew you would look so fucking hot in my bed…” He groans as his head dips to bite along her neck. “And your pussy is so tight…It’s driving me crazy. I wonder how a sweet thing like you could like me…”
His cock messaging all the right nerves in her as (Y/N)’s nails clawed into him. Her moans turning to incoherent shrieks as his tip abuses her spot, remembering exactly where it was when he found it earlier. Her guts twisting at both the words and his abusing pace. The denied orgasm from earlier building back up as her desperation grew wilder.
“God, Roy…So full…so good.”
Fuck she looked pretty. Her lips wet with tears and sip as she cries. Her eyes blown out in addictive lust and watery tears. Roy couldn’t help but cup her jaw in his hand and kisses her. The now familiar taste of mint and nicotine making her more addicted as his tongue claimed every inch of hers. He pulls away as his groans start matching her whines as his hand snakes between them to rub her clit.
“Honey, I may have to fuck a baby into you…” He mumbles as he buries his face in her neck. Her walls responding in a vice grip as he roughens his pace to meet their impending climax. “You like that, pretty girl? Want me to knock you up and give Wren and Lian a little sibling? Give you a nice big family with a white picket fence? God, you’re such a sweet thing that I wouldn’t mind keeping you as my pretty little girlfriend…”
“Roy!” She whines as her body shakes. Her walls closing in on him as she finally reaches her peak. Her eyes rolling back as stars cross her vision before Roy slams into her one more time as his hot cum fills her welcoming womb.
The pair remain still for a moment as soft pecks were exchange. Roy gently pulls out before he helps his love stretch back out. His hands massaging her thighs before grabbing his abandoned jacket to wipe her thighs and himself clean.
“You wanna go out tomorrow?” Her cracked voice catching the archer off guard before he smiles.
“With or without children?”
“Without. They are at a sleep over and gonna go to the zoo tomorrow with their friends.”
“Then it’s a date.”

🖋️ one your stories that sticks to me the most was the (im)perfect ending. I really wish to see how you visualize their lives after. will Joon ever find out about the baby? will they reunite again? what happens when they do🤭? will Joon finally get his head out of his a** and end his marriage and be true to his feelings 🧐 or will OC has her own happy ending with someone else🤔?
💌 I think other people have said this before, but you are an admirable person that I've ever met online. You've worked hard on your stories and have always given us a lot. even now, you choose to spread positivity and share gifts for others to celebrate your birthday and I think that's the sweetest thing anyone could ever do. happy belated birthday, Dia. You deserve so much happiness and a lot more. I hope your coffee is always hot and your pillow always warm. wishing you and all your precious kitties an abundance of health and joy 💝💝
omg I've been getting the same questions sent to me for this couple, so I guess this might be a good chance to provide some answers for those who have been waiting for it lol
I know that the last letter mentioned in the fic didn't specify how much OC shared about her baby, so I guess this is where we get to see what other things she sent with the letter for Namjoon. I hope you enjoy the snippet and the visualisation below!!

“Don’t forget that you need to pick up Sunny early Saturday morning for her class camping trip.”
Hearing her voice on the phone, clipped with orders, used to make Namjoon wince. Now he is used to it. Always so business-like, even when talking about their only child.
“Did you get that?”
Her voice returns when he doesn’t answer. He holds back from rolling his eyes and calmly answers. “Yeah, I got that. Saturday morning. Early.”
His reaction isn’t the only thing he is holding back. Asking why six-year-olds would go on a camping trip might only end up with him getting a long lecture through the phone. He doesn’t have that much time to endure that. And having his ear burning from it is really the last thing he needs right now.
“Right. I’ll text you the details.” A sigh, then, “Sunny also wants you to be the one to drive her to school Monday. So I’m packing up extra clothes for her to stay with you another night. Is that good?”
Namjoon closes his eyes. As much as he loves having extra time with his daughter, having the child’s mother schedule their time for him without consulting him first rubs him the wrong way. If he doesn’t know any better, he would have thought that she keeps doing this as a payback. Causing trouble and brushing his ego for choosing to step out of their marriage—the marriage that she had worked so hard to paint as perfect for the world to see.
But Namjoon knows better.
He knows that she has always been this way.
Even when they were still together, she always had to be the one running the show, while Namjoon would have to follow. She was the one holding the pen, writing the story for them through her rose-coloured glasses, while forcing him into a role that he never felt like he could fit into.
At one point, it caused him to lose himself.
Only that he realised it too late. Far too late, because it hadn’t just started when they got married, but long before—when they grew up together and being fed their parents’ beliefs that they would end up together once they turned adults; when they became teenagers and she insisted that it would only be right if they started dating to make their parents’ dreams come true and when she started planning their wedding day just when Namjoon was starting to find a chance to write his own story, to walk a different path, with a completely different person.
It wasn’t until he was able to find his old self and feel like himself again through the mistakes he made when he finally found the courage to leave that life. Yet, once again, he was too late.
Far too late.
“Namjoon? Do you—”
Her voice breaks him out of his wandering thoughts, only for her words to get drowned by the sound of the announcement blaring through the speakers above his head.
“Attention, passengers on Flight 345 with service to Sydney. We are now beginning our boarding process at Gate 12B. Please…”
The voice fades as passengers rush in front of him to find the departure gate, and Namjoon waits until the announcement stops before taking his palm off his phone.
“Where are you? Are you on another business trip?”
Namjoon almost laughs. He finds it hard to believe that after spending an entire fifteen minutes on call with him, she never thought about asking him where he was or where he was up to.
Business as usual. Even when it’s about our new arrangement.
“Australia. I just landed. That’s why I couldn’t take your call until now.”
“Oh…”
“You do realise the longer you’re on this call, the more expensive it will be, don’t you?”
Silence, then her bitter voice is heard. “How was I supposed to know where you were?”
You could have asked.
Sighing, Namjoon shakes his head. “Look, just text or email me all the details about Sunny’s trip. I’ll be back in Seoul Friday afternoon. Okay?”
“Okay.” Her voice softens. “Take care, Namjoon.”
The call ends, and Namjoon breathes a heavy sigh. Feeling exhaustion after speaking to her is one thing, but once it wanes, guilt always seems to take root. It doesn’t matter if he had fallen out of love a long time ago. He cannot deny that he has made too many mistakes that he is still trying hard to make up for. His decision to stay in the marriage for Sunny, using her as an excuse to hang on to the final threads that were offered to him instead of stepping away from that fallen marriage, was his last, yet probably most detrimental for his own mental health and any chance he ever had to make things right for everyone.
Including you.
Hoisting his duffle bag on his shoulder, Namjoon walks across the airport’s lot to find his ride. There is a reason why he is here, and he isn’t going to stop until he finds what he is searching for.
It takes him nearly an hour to reach his destination.
The small coffee shop looks quite inconspicuous as it stands between various other shops downtown, yet it still catches Namjoon’s eyes the moment he arrives.
Quaint and delicate, with natural wooden colours chosen as the accents at the front side of the shop and dark window frames, it reminds him so much of you.
The sound of the bell chimes above his head as he steps in, immediately welcomed by the fresh scent of coffee beans, chocolate, and a bit of cinnamon. Spicy and sweet and pleasantly warm. A young boy with a thick Australian accent welcomes him from the cashier, yet his eyes travel across the room, where the figure that has been filling his dreams at night appears.
Smiling at the young barista, he walks up towards you instead. You have yet to notice him in the room. Your eyes are locked on the small child sitting on the sofa by the corner, swinging his legs as he receives a small sip cup from your hands.
His eyes find him first, looking over your shoulder while you still have your back facing Namjoon and the front door.
“Now you sit tight right here until Mommy finishes work, okay? And don’t—”
“Mama?” the boy cuts you off before you can finish speaking, his chubby finger pointing towards Namjoon, “Da..?”
Your body freezes. Namjoon hears a soft gasp before you straighten up and slowly turn to face him. The moment you see him standing there, your eyes grow wide and you quickly move to hide your son behind you. Only the child is quick, as he hops off the sofa to stand right behind you, clinging onto your legs as he peeks at Namjoon.
A line which he read from your letter echoes in his mind as he returns the boy’s curious gaze, just as it does many nights after you were gone—
“I have a boy. He’s here. He might have a dimple on his cheek too that might show up once he’s grown a bit older. His name is…”
Namjoon bends down. “Sammy, is it?”
The boy, Sammy, slowly nods. Namjoon smiles. “You look handsome. You’re being a good boy to your Mommy now?”
“Yea…”
Chuckling softly, Namjoon straightens up to face you. Your eyes are covered with tears as you look back at him. “How—” you gasp, “What are you doing here?”
Because I’ll chase you to the end of the world if I could.
Those are the words that Namjoon has always wanted to say to you. A promise that he never got a chance to say before you left him. It was a mistake that he had been dreading the most when he first received your letter, along with a copy of your sonogram and your final word of goodbye.
“Keeping a promise,” he merely says. “I think we have a lot to talk about.”
A deep sigh escapes your lips. The sound pains him. But the sight of every tension being lifted from your shoulders gives him a sense of calm.
“I guess we do,” you whisper to him with a broken smile.
A lot of them.
He can almost hear those words coming from you. Just like he almost says out loud,
I have all the time in the world to talk and listen now. For you.

hi! Hope you’re doing well! I was wondering if I could request a Harvey fic where Harvey gets jealous once reader gets some male attention. Harvey was always used to the reader falling at his feet, watching him with her doughy eyes, always finding an excuse to talk to him. But then he noticed her getting distant with him, almost not acknowledging his existence. Then he noticed flowers get delivered to her office, a guy coming by her office to take her out for lunch, etc. and poor little Harvey getting upset that she’s not at his mercy anymore lol & he confronts her about it :)
Happy New Year and I hope all of you people had a great holidays!
This one is for my friend @marjorie189! Thank you so much for the request and hopefully you like this.
Enjoy!!
Winner Takes It All
She walked briskly out of the elevator. Her bag was on her right shoulder while she tried to balance the two cups of coffee she carried and a few files she also carried at the crook of her arm. She made sure the one on her right hand was Harvey's coffee. Since Donna became COO, it wasn't unusual for her to see that Harvey had forgotten his coffee. Since then, she has made it her mission to bring Harvey his morning coffee. She was relieved to see the door to Harvey's office open. She invited herself in. "Hey, good morning," she said in a chirpy voice. "Morning," Harvey answered shortly. "I brought you coffee. Just how you like it," she hoped that Harvey would look up at her. But instead, his eyes were glued to the laptop in front of him. "Great, just put it here," Harvey signed with his head to the place around his desk. She shuffled around, trying to balance everything as she placed his coffee just beside his pen. "So, how was your morning?" She waited expectantly for Harvey to look up at her and probably finally realized the new dress she put on. Harvey finally looked up at her after a split second, but the expression on his face wasn't what she expected. There was annoyance in his face. "It was good and productive before you came in and decided that today would be a great day to just sit around and talk." She smiled curtly at his response. "Alright, I'll get back to work. Enjoy your coffee," she said as she waved at Harvey and walked out of his office.
She giggled to herself as she read the reports in the library. Harvey would like it, she thought. Scratch that; Harvey would love this. A huge help to his case. Even though she wasn't assigned to this case with him, she always secretly kept track of his cases. When she knew he was in trouble, she took extra time to help Harvey, aside from doing her own cases. She always ran to Harvey's office with her findings. "Harvey!" She barged into his office. Harvey's face was a mix of confusion and irritation. "I found this," she said, handing Harvey the papers she had photocopied earlier. "This is good," Harvey said, giving her a small smile as he nodded. She almost jumped in joy upon hearing that this would help Harvey. "Just good?" she teased. "I don't know, Harvey. I think this is brilliant!" Harvey sighed. "If you need praise and flowers, go to Louis. This is good, but get back to work. What are you doing anyway with my case?" Harvey questioned her. "I'm helping you, of course," she said as she giggled. "Thank you. Now, can you please go so I can call my client?" Harvey said as he picked up the telephone. "Bye, Harvey!" she said as she left his office, closing the door behind her.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was just like any other morning. Every partner had a meeting before the day started to touch base on everyone's cases. Harvey was assigning some new cases to every other partner. It wasn't long before the meeting finished. She stayed longer than everyone else, as she saw Harvey also stay longer. She looked like she was about to leave but stopped at the end of the table. Stopped exactly beside Harvey. "Do you need help with that?" Harvey, who was flipping some documents in front of him, stopped and looked up at the woman smiling down at him. "Actually, yes." She nodded excitedly. "Can you deliver this to the DA office?" She doesn't even ask questions. "Consider it done," she said, bowed, and left the room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the past few days, Harvey didn't realize anything different until one morning he saw his newest and youngest partner. She just walked by his office. He remembered how, in the past few weeks, she never stopped by his office to deliver him his morning coffee. He stood up, trying to catch a glimpse of her. She brought with her a cup of coffee. A cup, as in a singular cup. Harvey's brows knitted, but he just shrugged and got back to whatever he was doing before.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey," Harvey said, entering her office after knocking. "Hey, Harvey," she greeted him, eyes never leaving the paper in front of her. Harvey noticed the unnecessarily big flower arrangement on a credenza behind her. She caught him staring at her freshly delivered flowers. "Are you going to tell me why you're here, or are you just going to stare at my flowers?" Harvey straightened himself; he seemed caught red-handed. She watched him impatiently. "I was wondering if you could help me with the deposition tomorrow." She shook her head. "I'm taking the rest of the week off ," she informed the clueless Harvey. "In the middle of the week?" Harvey folded both his arms in front of him. "Yes, I've asked Donna since 1 week ago. I've taken care of everything." Harvey looked at her as if she had two heads. "Where are you going?" She laughed. Harvey smiled at the sound he hadn't heard in the past few weeks. "Why is it your business?" Harvey was about to answer when she interrupted him. "I'll get someone else to help you, okay? Don't worry. Now, if you excuse me, I think my client just entered the conference room." Harvey stood there, flabbergasted.
Harvey was talking with Donna as they waited for the elevator. Harvey heard a familiar laugh approaching, but the voice was accompanied by a deeper laugh. Harvey whipped his body around and tried to locate the laughter. There, she was laughing with a man Harvey had never seen before in his life. They approached closer, seemingly wanting to leave the building as well. "Hi!" she greeted Donna and Harvey. "Oh, where are you two going? A lunch date?" Donna teased them. "Maybe," the stranger answered as she smirked at Donna. Okay, Harvey thought. This person knew Donna. "We haven't had the pleasure of an introduction," Harvey straightened himself. "Jonathan Seymour," the man said, smiling and extending his hand for Harvey to shake. Harvey took a quick second to look at his hand and chose to ignore it. "Harvey Specter, but you must've seen my name before seeing me," Harvey signed to the wall behind them with the name of the firm etched. "I need to see you before you go home," Harvey pointed his eyes directly at her. Before everyone could say anything, Harvey stepped inside the full elevator, leaving the three of them.
"Harvey, I'm about to leave. You need to see me?" Harvey moved his head, and she got inside his office. "Since you will take the rest of the week off, I need your help with those files." Harvey pointed at some folders stacked upon one another. She wanted to say no, but she felt bad now that she was taking the rest of the week off. "Okay, sure," she smiled. "What should we do?" she asked as she took off the coat she just put on.
Harvey watched her work. The fact that this was just a little over midnight, the fact that now her hair was in a high bun, and the fact that she looked very beautiful as she pouted, concentrating on the task at hand. He missed this. He missed her presence. Her chirpy voice. Her smile. Her scent is one of amber and rose. "Are you going to tell me where you are going for the rest of the week?" Harvey started the conversation. "I'm going to accompany Jonathan. His cousin is getting married in Aspen. But he said he wanted to show me around," she smiled. "Are you happy?" Harvey asked abruptly. She was taken aback by his question. The man he had been trying to get close to for almost a year was now asking personal questions. "I'm happy, Harvey. Any reason why I shouldn't?" Instead of answering her question, he asked her another question. "So you can positively say that you are happy with this Jonathan?" She sighed. "Where is this going, Harvey?" She put her pen down, giving Harvey her full intention. Harvey was quiet for some time; she raised her eyebrows at him and demanded that he continue. As she saw Harvey struggle to find words, she picked her pen back up and got back to work. "I like you," he blurted after a full five minutes of silence enveloping the room. "You what?" she asked, her voice higher than usual. "I like you. I don't like seeing you with Jonathan. I like you, and I never realized it before." She looked at him, and confusion marked her face. "Don't go with Jonathan. Go with me. I want to show you how sorry I am for treating you badly for the past couple of months, and I want to show you how much you mean to me," Harvey said as he kneeled in front of her, hands intertwined. She looked down at their hands. "You have to win me over, Harvey." But everyone knew, Harvey always won.

Childe
Spicy romance novels were your guilty pleasure. After a rough week at work, you deserved to sit back at Yanshang Teahouse and let the flow of words on the pages guide your imagination. You held your newest purchase in your hand and pondered if the cover art was a coincidence. Perhaps deep down, you subconsciously picked the book with a pretty ginger boy on the cover.
Tartagalia hadn’t visited Liyue in a while... and maybe there was a part of you that missed the tall handsome Snezhnayan boy just a tiny bit. You were a tad totally heartbroken when your friend departed from the harbor. He would come by your work quite often just to chat and whenever he had time to kill. Eventually, his company and charming words just became a part of your routine. It was impossible not to be dazzled by the boy’s abundant attention. But as time passed and you felt confident that you were completely over your little crush. You shook your head of those thoughts, it wasn’t important why you chose the book you did. You were here to enjoy yourself and you were hell bound to do just that.
The orange haired protagonist finds himself swept up in trouble much bigger than himself. To protect what’s dearest to him, he becomes a spy to an organization he holds no loyalty to. While behind enemy lines, he meets a girl who sees right through the mask he puts on. She not only figures out he’s a spy, but also sees his bleeding heart that has the ability to turn for the better. Your heart ached for the boy. The way he was stuck between his duties and who he loved made you feel endless sympathy for the protag. He had to betray one in the end to accomplish the other.
His mission was going to be completed in the morning. After that, he would never see the girl again. The handsome ginger spilled his feeling, laying himself out bare to the girl he loved. She knows, she always did, and she wanted to show him now on their last night. Emotions flood forward as their bodies tangle with one another. He wants her to feel his earnest passion.  He wants to bring her joy, to bring her the happiness she deserved, to bring her pleasure...  A low familiar whistle pulled your mind from the scene. No way...
“Huh, so this is what you do while I’m away...” A cheeky voice teased. You whipped your head to look at the widest shit eating grin that you’ve ever seen since.... well since he left.
“Tartagalia? What- When did you?” You were reeling and sputtered in surprise and embarrassment. You attempted redirect his attention and tuck the novel behind you as a last ditch effort to save your pride. But alas, Ajax was not known to be a merciful guy.
“Ah ah ah Y/N, I hadn’t got a good look at that last page. I just have to know about those ‘rippling abs’ mentioned.” Childe playfully reached behind you and snagged the book from your grip. You tried to swipe it back but his reflexes were too fast. “You don’t mind sharing right?”
“I’m serious give it back Childe!”  You threatened, but it only spurred him further. He had a whole head up on you, and was talking full advantage of it. Childe held the book open above you and dramatically cleared his throat before reciting naughty lines from the passages. Your felt your face burn red in both embarrassment and now absolute fury.
This kid was so dead!

Albedo
There was urgency in your steps while you trekked through the snowy path. You visited Dragonspine enough times to know the beaten trail even when covered in fresh snow, but it was still your least favorite part of coming to the lab. If you had to list your favorite part, well...... your friend Albedo wasn’t exactly terrible to look at. You were glad to see him again so soon. Typically, you purposely spaced out your visits up the mountain, but when you received a letter asking for your assistance in a research matter you really couldn’t say no.
As junior librarian of the knights, you were tasked with dropping off books and other study material to Albedo’s lab. It’s a grueling task but the two of you got along very well so you were always happy to do it. That being said, you weren’t exactly a person of science and opted reading into history and arts most times. Through years of knowing Albedo, you had to set a clear cut boundary on being a test rat for the alchemist. So far he has respected your wishes, so you didn’t assume it was why he’d call you out here. The curiosity was almost as bad as the blistering cold hitting your nose. As soon as the light illuminating from the lab was in view, you rushed forward desperate for warmth.
“Y/N, I’ve been awaiting you.” Albedo greeted you kindly.
“Hey Albe-” The words died in your throat when you caught sight of your friend. The blond’s hair was free from its usual up-do, messy locks framed the boys handsome features and flowed over his shoulders. Albedo’s neat attire was now lax, his knightly accessories nowhere to be seen. What could be seen was the expanse of the alchemist’s collarbone since two additional buttons were undone on his dress shirt. Somehow even while fully clothed, it felt indecent to witness him like this. “Is... everything alright Albedo?” You asked, averting your eyes to keep from ogling your friend.
“Of course.” Albedo answered easily, his voice was low and sultry. “Please take a seat Y/N. I have something urgent that needs your eyes.” He directed you, cocking his head towards the small table. Your brain was short circuiting and all you could think to do was obediently sit. You had never seen the serious and calculated man like this but you weren’t exactly complaining either. Albedo served you a cup of hot tea and opted to lean against the table instead of sitting.
“So... um what did you need me to look at.” You asked awkwardly, unsure what to do with yourself.
“Well obviously I want you to look at me Y/N” A light smirk formed across Albedo’s lips and he smoothly leaned over your chair. Your eyes followed every single movement while your face quickly began to heat up. Where was all of this coming from? Should you be concerned?
“W- what do you mean by that?” You blurted out, mind racing a mile a minute.
“I want you to-” Everything came to a screeching halt when your chair, that Albedo had been leaning on, began to tilt backwards. Both you and blond were sent crashing to the ground, ruining any kind of mood that was building. Your head ached from where you bumped it but Albedo intentionally took the brunt of it, completely face-planting into the hard floor.
“Albedo are you alright??” You hovered over him. The boy simply turned to you and blinked. His stoic expression was more akin to what you typically were used to.
“I apologize Y/N. It seems I didn’t fully grasp the concepts in the experiment before executing it. Are you hurt?” He stood up and carefully helped you to your feet. He examined you for any signs of injury, regardless of his obviously bleeding nose.
“Im good, the chair broke most of my fall. You on the other hand...” You grabbed a handkerchief and try to assist him. “Wait... experiment? Is that what this is all about?” You accused, slightly irked.
“Yes, I saw a fascinating book among the study material you left behind recently. I assumed that it was a new subject you had recommended for me.” Albedo stated simply. “Its contents was um... quite intimate at times, but I thought it was a interesting perspective on forming human connections.” You felt froze, but this time not from the blistering cold.
“Did the book have um.... did it have a pair of cuffs on the front?” You asked, praying to the archons that you were mistaken.
“Yes, I studied it extensively.” Albedo replied without a hint of shame on his features.  You replayed his interactions and what had just transpired in your head and looked back over to your friend.
“Okay two things. One, don’t you dare breathe a word to anyone about that book or else I’ll be very upset with you. And two, that was fucking hilarious.” You bursted out in laughter at the absurdity of the whole happenstance. Albedo gazed back at you confused, but your amusement was undeniably infectious. He smiled fondly back at you. Although the experiment couldn’t be labeled a success, the outcome was still one he found pleasing.

Alhaitham
It was grueling working in the Akademiya recently. The overthrow of power left everyone with plenty to do. You would go mad from attending meeting after meeting if you didn’t have some sort of stress outlet. Writing was a way you liked to ease your mind, like an escape of sorts. You loved writing loose plots for light novels and dreamed to one day send an entry to the “Wow This Novel is Amazing!” contest in Inazuma. You were far from a finished manuscript, but it’s days like these that gave you inspiration. After working through piles of paperwork, you earned yourself a moment of indulgence. Especially when stress was eating you alive, your scenes tended to take a turn for the... suggestive.
The scene opened to the main character pondering why their mentor kept themselves at arms length. She respected him immensely and strives to uphold his reputation by improving her skill. He was young and handsome, skilled far beyond his years. They held a close bond, closer than either of them have ever experienced. Now it was unclear why he was giving her such a cold shoulder. She confronts her mentor about the reasons behind his actions. He expresses his pride in her, how she has come far in the their time together. But for her to achieve new highs, she must leave him behind. His feelings for her would only be a hindrance now.
She felt the tension between them for some time now. It was lingered in soft bushes between fingers, meaningful glances over meals, and caring gestures done without thinking. She’s fallen for the beautiful man, to a point that it wasn’t logical. No words need to be exchanged, only body heat. Arms hold onto the other in yearning desperation. Lips hungrily meet, as if they’ll never to be sated. Her want clouds all her senses and she could feel his willingness to give her everything, all of him. Hot needy breaths trail down her body, discarding any clothes that stood barrier, until he finally put his mouth directly on-
“Busy Y/N?” The amused man asked from the doorway. You jump in response, quickly pushing aside the parchment that you were writing on.
“Alhaitham! What are you doing here?” You pipe up, surprised to see your friend for more than one reason. Alhaitham had been promoted to acting grand sage while the rest was still settling, he had to be incredibly busy.
“I see you’re not very excited to see me,” Alhaitham teased, strolling casually into your office anyway. “Even after I went through the trouble of coming to grab the data reports myself and pay you a visit.” He tsked.
“You came to see me? Ah, so you need a favor.” You playfully jabbed back, easily finding comfort in the other’s company. It really had been quite a while. If it weren’t for the man’s inflated ego, you might have told him that you’ve missed him.
“You wound me. It’s not an oddity for colleagues reconnect reminisce while also carrying out an errand for the acting great sage.” Alhaitham replied smoothly, not bothering to go through the motions and pretend to act hurt.
“Yikes, already pulling the ‘acting great sage’ card.” You chuckle. Alhaitham and you have worked closely together for years, so you didn’t mind going out of your way to do him a favor. But maybe one day he would learn that all he had to do was ask nicely.
“It would be foolish to not use the assets as they are presented to me.” The former scribe shrugged. He opened his mouth as if to continue the witty banter, but a beep from on his person alerted him of something. “I’ll have to brief you later. I’ll just take the data reports and be on my way.”
“Right, here it goes.” You handed him the prepared stack of papers on your desk and just like that Alhaitham was gone, off to his next endeavor. Wow he really is swamped now a days. You thought, ready to get back into your writing. Ideas kept flowing through you as you looked for the parchment you just had.... Wait it was just right here. Oh no.
-
“ALHAITHAM! I NEED THE DATA REPOR-” You barged into acting grand sage’s office, which was no easy feat. You were stopped again and again by all the matra crawling about. Your mouth ran dry when spotted the parchment in the smirking man’s hands. You wished the floor would just open up and swallow you whole so that you wouldn’t have to look at that cocky handsome face.
“The data report? Certainly, it’s right over there on the desk.” Alhaitham stated, not bothering to take his eyes off your handwriting. “I’m still going over some of it now and I have to say, it’s quite in depth.” He went on.
“You are such a jerk! Give it!” You resorted to trying to snatch it, but the former scribe easily turned away without sparing you even a single glance. You knew what he wanted and damn did it feel like making a deal with the devil. “I’ll owe you a favor, no questions asked. Just hand it over and keep your mouth shut.”
“Two favors.” He bargained without batting an eye.
“You’re pushing it-”
“One is for my silence and the other for the safe return of your... passion project.” Alhaitham interjected, finally tearing his eyes from your writing to shoot you a glance above the paper. You willed a stern expression onto your face, even while a furious blush bloomed cross your cheeks. A curt nod sealed the agreement and the man casually returned the parchment to you as promised. You snatched the paper from him and averted your gaze.
“Y/N you have quite the knack for imagery.” Alhaitham added slyly. You expected he would tease you a little longer, so you braced yourself for the worst. What you did’t expect was the tall man to lean over you with his hand braced on the desk. Your eyes shot up to his in surprise. “If you’re ever in need for another peer review, I’d be happy to offer my services.” He winked.

Within the bustling corridors of SHIELD, Y/N navigated the ebb and flow of her new life. The camaraderie among her colleagues provided a sense of belonging, yet there were moments when the shadows of her past cast a subtle veil over her determination.
One evening, after a demanding mission, Bucky approached her with a reassuring smile. "You held your ground out there, Y/N. Impressive."
A grateful smile graced her lips. "Thanks, Bucky. But sometimes, it feels like my past is a shadow I can't escape."
Understanding flickered in Bucky's eyes. "I've been down that road. You're not alone now. We're a team."
Days turned into weeks, and Y/N faced challenges that tested her resilience. Bucky, a steadfast presence, offered encouragement and shared his own experiences of triumph over inner demons. He reminded her that strength flourished in vulnerability.
Strolling through the helicarrier's corridors one day, Y/N confessed, "Finding someone who gets it is rare."
Bucky chuckled warmly. "Life surprises you, and you're one of the good surprises, Y/N."
Rooftop conversations became a haven where words flowed freely, carried away by the night breeze. It was during one of these moments that Y/N, vulnerability in her gaze, expressed gratitude.
"You make the load feel lighter," she admitted.
Bucky's response was a reassuring smile. "We're in this together, Y/N."
Struggles persisted, and Y/N found herself wrestling with the demons of her past in moments of solitude. Despite her efforts, the haunting echoes threatened to undermine her progress. Bucky, keenly observant, noticed the subtle changes in her demeanor.
In the helicarrier's kitchen, shared meals became a ritual of companionship. Bucky, sensing her struggles, became an unwavering pillar of support.
However, the weight of her past sometimes proved too heavy, and Y/N's attempts to articulate her pain often ended in frustrated silences.
"You're trying too hard to carry it all alone," Bucky gently remarked one evening, his eyes reflecting concern.
Y/N sighed, her shoulders slumping. "I just don't want to burden anyone."
Bucky shook his head, "We're a team, remember? You're not a burden, Y/N. Let us help carry the load."
Despite her efforts to make it work, Y/N found herself grappling with feelings of inadequacy. In the face of mission failures or personal setbacks, she retreated into a self-imposed isolation, convinced that her struggles were a testament to her perceived shortcomings.
One day, as they walked through the helicarrier's corridors, Bucky gently nudged her shoulder. "You're not defined by your mistakes, Y/N. You're defined by how you rise from them."
His words lingered, sinking into the recesses of her heart. Y/N realized that her journey toward healing wasn't a straight path. It was a maze of ups and downs, and Bucky was there, a guiding presence in the labyrinth of her uncertainties.
As they faced new challenges, Y/N's struggles persisted, but so did Bucky's unwavering support. In moments of doubt, he became the anchor that steadied her, the voice of reason that countered the whispers of self-criticism.
One evening, after a particularly trying mission, Y/N again found herself on the rooftop. Instead of bearing the weight alone this time, she turned to Bucky with a vulnerability that transcended words.
He listened, not with judgment but with a genuine understanding that only someone who had walked a similar path could provide.
"You don't have to have it all figured out, Y/N," Bucky reassured her. "We're all works in progress. And you're doing better than you think."
As the helicarrier hummed with activity around them, Y/N felt a shift within herself. Bucky's support, coupled with the realization that she didn't have to navigate the journey alone, infused her with a renewed sense of resilience.
Their friendship, born amidst struggles, became a testament to the transformative power of genuine connection. Y/N's path, once marked by solitary footsteps, now had the imprint of a companion who shared both the highs and lows.
In their shared moments, amidst laughter and shared vulnerabilities, Y/N discovered that the journey toward healing wasn't a destination to reach but a continual growth process.
With Bucky by her side, the echoes of her past became softer, replaced by the harmonious notes of a friendship that thrived in the face of adversity.
And so, within the heart of SHIELD, where the complexities of duty met the warmth of camaraderie, Y/N and Bucky continued navigating life's intricacies.
Their friendship, a symphony of shared struggles and unwavering support, played on a melody that resonated with the promise of brighter tomorrows.

Want some omegaverse GhostSoap baby drama?
Ghost (alpha) dumps Soap before the omega could tell him he's pregnant. Soap was devastated from the break up, but couldn't get it over his heart to terminate. So, he decided to retire - effective immediately, without honours. The only person on base who knew was the dedicated omega doctor who could only cover for him so long before he couldn't hide it anymore.
He slips out in the night.
But he didn't realize someone was following...
Price had gone to his office at 2am looking for his favorite lighter when he found the letter under the door from Soap about his immediate resignation and retirement. He rushes out in time to catch Soap sneaking off base with just his bag.
He was suspicious that Soap had maybe crossed them, that he was deflecting. He overhears 'the airport' between Soap and the driver who just pulled in. In a mad rush he runs to his room to grab a backpack then set out to follow the man from a distance.
Soap had been distant for the past few months, increasingly so. His doctor had him booked off active duty, only allowing office work and recruit training but even then he was withdrawn. It didn't help his suspicions.
He follows Soap all the way to Scotland to a small town.
He watches from afar as a very nervous Soap knocks on the door of a cozy family home and is greeted in joy. An hour later he watches Soap fling the door open and leave again, screaming and cursing can be heard from inside. His face stained with tears, a red bruise on his cheek.
Had he gotten in trouble with an informant? Was his superiors not happy with his report or performance? He'll wait till he calls Laswell. He needs more Intel first.
He quickly sends Ghost a text that said 'till I'm back you're in charge'.
He follows as Soap takes the late train to the next town and checks into a small motel. Over the next few weeks he mostly stays in, sometimes visits the hospital. Is that where he meets his contacts? Is the motel a front? Slowly Price's suspicion turns to concern, and worry.
Then an ambulance is called to the motel. Price spots Soap being loaded in.
He can't fake the local accent to blend in so he stays outside the small-town hospital for a day and a half before Soap appears again...
... carrying a small bundle in his arms.
But something doesn't add up, something is off.
Soap seems devastated in a way that breaks Price's heart. He smiles through the tears at the little one in his arms as he slowly walks down the street into the night air.
A few blocks down he stops in front of the small orphanage next to the church. He places the warmly swaddled little one at the orphanage's steps, knocks and quickly leaves sobbing.
Before the door can even be answered, however, Price finds his body moving. He dashes out of his hiding spot and swoops the wee one into his arms, quickly walking away as he hears the door being answered to nothing and no one.
A block down, once he's sure it's safe, he peeks down at the curious little face.
And sees blue eyes like Soap...and pale skin and blond hair - like Simon.
It doesn't take much to deduce what happened. He had noticed Ghost had also been withdrawn and taking riskier solo missions since he and Soap stopped being each other's shadow suddenly. In fact, he'd been so busy trying to stop Ghost from getting himself killed or killing a recruit who happened to catch him on a bad day - that he'd not realised this probably had something to do with Soap's withdrawal too. Too busy and distracted to put two and two together.
They were both hurting. Soap clearly felt he couldn't take care of the wee one, but wanted it to have a chance. Even if it meant leaving the army.
As he walks he pulls out his phone to make a call. Laswell pulls some strings and files, and before he gets to the hotel the Captain's official records included that of his newborn son: 'John Simon Price'.
Till his boys are ready, he'll keep their little one safe and happy. Grandpa Price will make sure of it.

This one's for @pirateaangel, who requested a feelings realisation fic based in Stalag Luft III, with Gale in denial, Bucky acting out, and a chase into the night.
I hope you like it! Read under the cut.
I do accept fic requests if you have them, though feeling a bit of the midweek blues so would particularly welcome something upbeat this week!
After the men were seen to, and Gale had personally checked they had all the meagre offerings a desperate place like Stalag Luft III could possibly offer - blankets, one pillow, and a bunk to put ‘em on, medical attention (if not intervention), and some barely passable food and water - perhaps John Egan should not have been the first thing on his mind.
But there he was, as large and demanding and present in Gale’s head as he ever was in person. That had been the way of it ever since Bucky had wormed his way into Gale’s affections, into his friendship: whenever the responsibilities of leadership waned, and Gale was left with a few moments of quiet, his thoughts invariably turned to John, at least for a moment.
What trouble is he gettin’ into?
He better not have forgotten to eat again.
He’s gotta stop pissin’ off the Colonel. For a guy so affable, he sure did have a problem with Colonels.
Gale wasn’t some obsessive dame or nothin’. Just, someone had to look out for John whilst he looked out for everyone else, and Gale got the job.
Gale liked the job. Whenever anyone jokingly offered to take the other Major off his hands for a while, Gale would smile with the rest of them, but managed to keep John as his, well, as his somethin’.
And here in Poland, now that the quiet had descended and the men were all privately coming to terms with their new lot in this war, Gale wondered who’s job it was now.
Who told him that Gale went down? It was chaos, and he wasn’t convinced anyone would have observed any chutes. John would have sat there, fresh faced and relaxed after enjoying his leave in London, and have to hear 'No record', about where his buddy went down.
Gale wondered if it was vanity that made his assume John would be at least a little cut up about it. Lord, he hoped John didn’t drink over him.
If there was a way for him to write John, let him know he was okay, he would have done it. He woulda done anything, to spare his friend the grief.
Because if it were the other way around? If he’d had to find out that John had gone down, with no record, whilst he’d been yucking it up in London? Gale woulda drowned in that kind of guilt. Only the responsbility towards the other men in the plane with him the next time he took to the air would stop him from doing something reckless and final in the name of John Egan, KIA.
And in the relative privacy of his bunk, in the dark, Gale let himself wonder if that was normal? If it was something other men felt about bonds forged and severed by war.
And like always, he pushed the thought away. Course it was normal. It was known. There was no Buck without Bucky. And vice versa. Which gave him hope of a future out of this POW camp. So long as John was out there fighting the good fight, Buck could still exist.
It was also why he was equal amounts elated and devastated to see Brady two days after their internment at Stalag Luft III.
After Gale had secured them a bunk, and the fellas left to give Brady and Murph their space to settle, Brady had grabbed Gale’s wrist as he went to walk away.
“You have no idea how happy I am to see you alive, Major,” Brady said, though there was no trace of joy on his face. Only something grim and sad.
“What is it, Brady?”
It took the pilot a few moments to gather his courage but he tugged on Gale’s wrist and he sat on the edge of Brady's bunk and listened.
“John was the commanding pilot on the mission.”
And Brady, for his part, got the front hand seat to both Egan and Cleven's grief at hearing the other went down. He watched the breath leave Major Cleven, watched something shutter behind his eyes, watched him swallow convulsively around words he didn’t want to ask but desperately wanted to know.
“Is he—do you know if—?”
“He bailed. I made sure of it, Major,” and Brady grabbed him with a mad sort of desperation, trying to make Gale understand in a way he couldn’t with John. “We were right behind each other, but we got seperated on the way down and the German’s were shooting at us as we fell…”
No record. More or less.
So that’s what it felt like. Cold, icy panic stabbing at his belly. Roiling nausea sparking up his throat. A floaty, buzzing sense that blinded him to Brady, and the fellas, and the bunk house, and landed him in a flak-ridden freefall with John Egan.
Had it been a hard landing? The kind that killed you on impact? Had it been soft and now he was all alone in enemy territory? Had he died before he hit the ground, or had German guns put one through his head and he fell to earth limp and gone, like a doll?
“..jor? Major!”
Brady looked at him concerned. The other fellas had returned and were shooting looks their way. Gale wasn’t sure how much they heard. Digging down to find that steel core John liked to tease him about, he stood from Brady’s bunk.
“Brady’s just informed me he’s missing one from his crew. Major Egan might still be out there.”
An excited chatter erupted amongst the boys. Benny grinned and slung his arm around Crank. The effect John had on people was astounding. In the middle of this miserable goddamned place, he still brought cheer and hope.
He let them have it, even if Gale wouldn’t allow it for himself.
Then, after a few more days, when the men were getting more and more despondent at the lack of familiar faces staggering into the camp, he heard it.
“Bucky! John!”
“Murph? Crank?!”
“Do any of you know if Buck made it? Do any—”
And of all the things swirling in his head as he stumbled towards the barbed wire fence, he found himself shouting, raspy and loud, “John Egan! Your two o’clock!”
He’d seen the back of John, grubby and dirty and greasy like the rest of ‘em when they'd came here. But when John whirled round on hearing his voice, and Gale saw the blood and the bruises and the sticky, rotten evidence of everything that had tried to keep John from stumbling into their camp - from coming back to him - and he saw John lighting up with relief and joy aimed at the sight of Gale, that fierce feeling he kept in his chest for John flared and caught and burned, and damn near choked him with the horror of it.
Because when John all but collapsed into his arms, and Gale couldn’t stop himself from clutching him right back until the tips of his fingers were white, he knew. He knew he loved him in ways he didn’t love the rest of their men, and he loved their men from the 100th. But Gale loved John in ways that kept him up at night. He loved him in ways that had him knowing just how many freckles John got in the sun, especially over his eyes. He loved him in ways that hurt with worry when John wasn’t there, and with a fury whenever John put himself in danger.
Gale loved John in a way that was dangerous here. And as he led John back to their hut, and got him squared up with a bunk next to his and called for a medic and got him clothes and bedding and water and food, he vowed to himself that he wouldn’t let his love endanger John.
Not here, not now, not ever.
And he tried, but he struggled.
It was ingrained into him, taking care of John. John was the mama hen of the 100th, don’t be fooled. He’d joked once about making a nest for the dodos when he was shipped off to England ahead of them all, but it wasn’t really a joke. He got the boys little things to make them more comfortable, made sure they got the chance to blow off steam to keep them sane, went toe-to-toe with the higher ups to defend the boys as best he could, and was the hand at their back when they stumbled.
Gale wasn’t like that. John liked to rib him and tell him he was the 100th’s poster boy, but in one of his more serious moments, he'd expanded:
“I’m serious, Buck. I don’t just mean all this,” he’d gestured all over Gale with a lopsided grin. “The boys look up to you. They copy you, try to emulate you. When they see you calm and steady, that’s what they do. When they see you thinking all careful, they give a little more thought, too. Ain’t no bad thing.”
But with John, caretakin’ came natural to Gale. And in the camp, it was no different. And that was the problem.
Whenever John winced, Gale was at his side propping him up, hands soothing over his back. But as soon as he righted himself, Gale abandoned him again for space and distance.
When John started coughing Gale gave him his own ration of hot water and helped him drink it down through the spluttering, but when John tried to touch his hands, in thanks or comfort, Gale snatched them away.
One night when Gale let his guard down and was telling John about how they got there, his eyes were far away and he didn’t see John’s hand reach out. But he felt the shock of John’s finger tips tracing the scar on his cheek.
Gale had frozen, words stuck in his throat and muscles locked as John rubbed his thumb back and forward.
And God, did it burn. It burned and tingled so good and Gale wanted to sob and drop his head into John’s hand but he couldn’t. He’d get them killed. He had to get them out of here in one piece and get back to Marge and marry her to keep both him and John safe from Gale’s love.
So when John opened his mouth to speak, Gale snatched up John’s wrist in a tight grip, and said firm and fierce, “Don’t.”
Things changed after that.
The distance that suddenly sprang up between the Majors became painfully clear to the rest of the 100th stuck with them in Stalag Luft III. Hell, it became clear to folks outside of the 100th, who had listened to heroic, humanising stories about the Buckies - the famed leaders of the Bloody Hundredth.
Gale avoided John at all costs. He still tried to do little things for him, he couldn’t help that compulsion, but when he left a biscuit from his Red Cross package on John’s pillow just before lights out, he felt it hit the back of his head as soon as dark hit. When he tried to give John easier jobs as he and the rest of the boys built up their strength, John would glare at him and take himself off to the tree stumps or the races the boys set up out of spite.
And if John hated him, that would have been easier. But when Gale overheard someone bitching about his orders, he also overheard a smack and a curse and caught sight of John stalking away from a young man clutching the back of his head. When Gale tried to give his food away just to cheer someone up, he felt John’s glare on the back of his head and more than one fellow had refused Gale’s offer, stammering and glancing between Gale and wherever John glowered behind him.
Gale just couldn’t stop loving him.
It came to a head when they tried to rebuild the radio.
Something in Gale had crumbled when the goons found the first one, and he threw himself into building a new one. And John, temporarily forgetting his righteous fury with Gale, constantly dropped bits and pieces he remembered they needed from the last one in front of Buck.
And one night, after everyone had gone to sleep and by the barely-there light of one dull candle, Gale thought he finally finished it. He let out a stunned breath, the cold billowing it in front of him, and fell against the back of his seat.
“Hey,” Bucky whispered from his bunk before scrambling from under the thin and ratty blanket. “You okay? What is it?”
Gale eyed the radio warily before flicking his eyes to Bucky. “I think - I think it’s finished.”
John’s eyes lit up with delight and pride and Gale flushed but couldn’t look away.
“Alright then,” he smiled. “Never doubted you. You wanna give it a try?”
The notion filled Gale with terror, but also with a desperate sort of eagerness and he couldn’t have said no if he tried. So he didn’t say anything, and only nodded.
With trembling fingers, and John by his side hurrying into the chair next to him and dragging himself as close as he could get, Gale tried to bring the radio to life.
Nothing.
But it was alright. The last one took a couple of tries, too.
But again, nothing.
And nothing.
And nothing.
Gale’s eyes burned and his throat tightened and the disappointment felt like lead shot right in his belly.
“Fuck,” Bucky cursed softly in his ear. One of those large, heavy hands came up to Gale’s neck and squeezed. “I’m sorry, Buck.”
And it was too much. It was too much because that hand was the only thing grounding him and Gale wanted to grab on to it and never let go. He wanted to bring it to his mouth and press his lips against the callouses and the veins and the heartbeat underneath. He wanted to trust it to muffle the cries of frustration he was choking on.
He slapped John’s hand away and the sound cracked in the silence. The hurt cutting through the softness Bucky somehow still retained for him hit him louder though, and Gale dragged in a breath so ragged, he hoped it sounded like anger.
Anger he could nurture right now. Not love.
But so could John. Oh, so could John.
Those dark blue eyes sparked angry in the dull light and he muttered low and spiteful, “The fuck is wrong with you, Buck, huh? What’s your problem?”
He couldn’t tell him. He couldn’t tell him. He couldn’t tell him despite the words thumping against his chest, beat after beat after beat.
“I ain’t got no problem,” Gale hissed, jaw tense and somehow, miraculously, managing to hold John’s angry gaze with his own. “If you hadn’t been such a child lately, I’d have been able to focus on this properly instead of keeping an eye on you—”
John’s eyebrows met his hairline. “You gotta be fucking kidding me.”
And before Gale could snipe back John barrelled over him. “Whose the one that’s scrounged up most of your materials for both radios, huh? Do you have any idea what I head to do to get all that? Twice? No. Because youv’e had your head up your ass about something, avoiding me. Keeping an eye on me? Gale? You can barely stand to fuckin’ look at me.”
Gale bit the inside of his cheek bloody trying to ignore the crack of John’s voice, which the older man coughed away with a sneer and a grit of his teeth.
Through the blood and saliva, Gale said, “You’ve been impossible to be around, John.”
Impossible. Because every moment Gale spent near him, it was harder and harder to control himself and remind himself why he couldn’t just have what we wanted, who he wanted, the love he wanted, just this once.
“Like you would know?! What - what did I do, Buck? Huh? What did I do? ‘Cause I’ve been spiralling here, barely holding it together, and the one goddamn thing that has me holding it together is you, and now it feels like I don’t even have that.”
“John-” Gale pleaded. He pleaded, to John, to whatever force, heavenly or otherwise that might listen and bless him this repreieve.
And John reared back in his seat and Gale saw the worst thing he might have seen in this war: defeat settle in the eyes of Major John Egan.
John who whispered thick and sorrowful, like loved ones at a bedside vigil, “That’s it, huh? I did go and lose you to this war after all?” And in the protection darkness offered, Gale saw that John let his eyes fill with grief he wouldn’t quite let spill.
“Why did you go, Buck? What did I do?”
In violent contrast to the softness of John’s grief, Gale sprang from his chair, the wood screeching against the floorboards and grabbed him a tangled, gnarled fistful of John’s shirt. John didn’t fight back; he only reared back in shock and his legs sprawled open to try and keep his balance as Gale stepped into the space between and bent Bucky back at a painful angle over the back of his chair and snarled in his face,
“You made me love you, you goddamn sunnuva bitch.”
And Gale took a full, harsh, selfish kiss all his own. He breathed in sharp at the drag of dry lips which told him that they might be down but they were fightin’ and alive, and he pushed into the heat of Bucky’s mouth and let himself claim one hungry taste of John Egan, before he made his hands, which had somehow come to clutch Bucky by the throat, push him away.
“That’s why.”
And Gale stalked out into the night. Curfew be damned.
He got maybe, half way down the side of their hut, heading for the shadows that would hide him from the goons, before he heard footsteps he would know blind come running after him.
Well. If Bucky was going to retaliate, may as well be now in the dark, in one of the few hidden spaces they had, instead of in front of their men in broad daylight.
John had never been a violent man, but maybe if he decided to smack some sense into Gale, he could knock this feeling out of him.
So when a hand grabbed Gale’s bicep so hard it pinched the skin and he knew there’s be bruises like fingerpaints there tomorrow, he didn’t fight it. He let John drag him further down the gaps between the huts and shove him against the cold and damp wood. He let John grab his neck and the back of his hair, and he didn’t say anything even as the man faltered when he got a look of Gale’s face. What did he see? Defeat? Desperation? The grief that in a few short moments, Buck and Bucky, the most important, defining, greatest relationship of his life would be over, all because he let his control slip just once-
“Then we’re even, you stupid, stupid bastard.”
John slid his hand around the back of Gale’s neck, tightened his hold on the back of his head and hauled Gale up until he was damn near on his toes, and he wasn’t even that much shorter than Bucky, and swept Gale up in his scent, his presence, and his taste.
John kissed him. Out there in the dark, on the precipice where Gale thought he would be expelled from John’s orbit altogether, John kissed him. It weren’t sweet like he imagined John kissed the dames, and it weren’t rough like Gale had kissed him.
John kissed like he was hungry. He pressed full and heavy and kiss after kiss onto Gale’s lips; sucking on his bottom lip, nipping at its plumpness, and when Gale sobbed when John angled his head just so and pulled Gale in even further, John slid his tongue against Gale’s and the shock, the vibrancy, the life it sent thrumming through him had him weak. And John continued to devour. The hand at Gale’s head came under his chin and tilted his head up so John could lick all the way down Gale’s tongue, caress him on the way back up, only to do it all again. Gale’s breaths were short and panting. Was this what is was like to come back to life? When they restarted your heart? He felt his heartbeat, their pulse, in his mouth and it guided him to yank John down and give as good as he got. He swallowed John’s groan down his throat. He finally, oh finally, got a handful of those curls and pulled, and John whined high and pretty and got his hands under Gale’s thighs and hauled him up, just off the ground, so the only thing keeping him upright was John’s body pressing him against the back of the hut and one of John’s thighs which slid between Gale’s own legs-
And Gale had no choice but to break off the kiss with a curse and another tug on John’s hair. “Fuck, Bucky.”
Pressed chest to chest, their heartbeats felt like rapid fire.
And Bucky’s hands, holding onto his waist, and the breaths Bucky huffed into Gale’s ear, and the solidity of his presence slowly lowered Gale back down to earth until his feet touched the ground.
Bucky dropped his head to Buck’s.
Gently, sweetly, he kissed Buck’s crown. “Next time, Buck, save a girl some heartache and just buy me some flowers.”
A little hysterical, Gale snickered into Bucky’s neck. “M’sorry,” he mumbled against the skin. “I just don’t know how—”
John hummed and pulled Gale back by the scruff and dropped his head so they were forehead to forehead. “Me either. But you’re the smartest person I know - when I’m there to get’cha outta your head, at least.”
Gale kicked his shin half-heartedly.
“You and me, Buck,” John said. “Just like I told you.”
And for now, Gale let himself believe.

a/n: did I mention that I love writing angst? Seriously, I'm a fan of a good drama. This one has been sitting in drafts for a while, it's small, but it's worth it.
Heartache
Trafalgar Law x F!Reader
warnings: angst with no happy ending. Unrequited feelings on both sides.
Tumblr media
"Captain, I'm leaving the crew."
The words that came out of your mouth were enough to open an abyss beneath Law's feet. What do you mean, you were leaving the crew? What do you mean you were leaving him behind?
The bitter taste still lingered in his mouth when he met his crewmates again after a mission. The bitter taste referred to finding yourself locked in the arms of another man.
Not that Law could charge you anything. One drunken night you even tried to steal his kisses and thoughts for yourself, but you were pushed away by his tattooed hands, an apology combined with a we can't do this came from him. After that, all you had to do was bury your feelings or at least hide them from your field of vision.
However, it was not possible to hide the small kindnesses coming from Law, the woody perfume that emanated from him, the sound of his laughter - even if it was not frequent, when it appeared it was a comfort to your troubled soul.
Until someone new appears, physically beautiful, the jokes not as good as the ones you shared with your captain, but with this man there seemed to be a promise to mitigate those feelings that accumulated in the form of tears on your pillow every night.
Just like a wound in the healing process, some days it hurt more, others less, when your captain came across you, it was as if the wound opened again.
However, it was still difficult to put it into words.
"Why you say that?" Law's voice hit you like a bullet, aimed and named at you.
You had known him for years and knew very well how he hid his feelings with every action. It was possible to name this time as heartache.
"Hiro asked me to stay with him, it seems like a good proposal." yes, it was inevitable that the hurt wouldn't be in your voice either.
"And you will accept?" Your silence answered the question. "Why not the other way around? Why doesn't he join the crew?" the words came out like a waterfall from Law. Intense, and almost impossible to contain.
"Are you really serious?" your face lit up, much to Law's unhappiness.
It wasn't that he didn't want to see it there, he just wanted that joy to be directed towards him and not about another man being part of the crew. On the other hand, you just wanted Law to take action and put an end to your crazy idea of leaving everything behind for a guy.
"I'm serious, of course, if he wants. Talk to Bepo, find him some tasks and we'll talk again later."
Your smile seemed to light up the entire room - even though the sunlight was already shining on the grass below your feet. You wanted to be able to hug him, to be able to thank him for something you weren't sure you wanted. You wanted to feel Law against your fingers, sink against his skin. That was something that didn't belong to you and apparently wouldn't never belong. You just thanked him and left your captain alone - and that was just what he would be.
The world around him seemed to lose some of its brightness when Law saw you jump away, your fruity smell getting further and further away.
It would hurt. He would be cynical if he said no.
It would hurt like little razors cutting into his skin, like little cuts that wouldn't bleed as much, but would be there to remind him of the pain or rather to remind him of how good it was when such pain didn't exist.
The feeling of your lips against his would remain like a ghost, a distant memory of his regret. Why had he denied you such affection? Why had he denied himself such affection? Fear seemed like the perfect answer, fitting any source he could list.
Fear of getting hurt, fear of hurting you, fear of putting a target on you as soon as someone saw you with your arms tied to him, fear of what such a feeling could bring - and look what an ironic feeling, after all, all fear had now been replaced by pain.
At least he would still have you there, an arm's length away, no longer a hug away or a night contemplating the sky above the submarine that broke the weak waves of some night you spent awake and talking.
Now it would be with someone else that you would stay there, lost in daydreams throughout the night, sharing sips of drinks that are so awful that even with the division, there would still be full glasses and laughter for you and your new companion.
It would be someone else who would feel your soft skin, who would capture your lips, kisses and moans. And he - Law - would continue there, being his captain, captain of a new guy who for now he wouldn't want to bother knowing the name of.
But Law would still have you there, he would have small fragments of you, small fragments of your attention, a constant memory of the chance he missed to have you whole, just for him, the girl who was supposed to be just his.
The feelings would remain hidden within him for who knows how long. In the same way, your photo hugging Law would remain hidden on your pillow, a vague memory of the nights you shared and now would no longer share.

he hoped to one day come back with you by his side
when he opens the door, he calls your name loudly... but sweetly, expecting to show you what he brought back with him
however, he is met with silence. he looks around the room to see you sleeping on the couch wrapped in a warm cozy blanket
well, you were asleep before a certain pirate practically slammed the door open and yelled your name
you rub the sleep out of your eyes and look at the doorframe, happy to see him
luffy sets aside the souvenirs and joins you on the couch, showering your sleepy face in kisses
between kisses, he apologizes for waking you up. but how can you even be upset with him when he shows you the souvenirs he brought back because many of them reminded him of you?
he wants to tell you all about his journey, but he also wants you to rest well. so he saves his stories for after your nap
this time he joins you under the blanket, entangling his limbs with yours before falling asleep faster than you expected
maybe he was tired after all
Tumblr media Tumblr media
there were...ups and downs on said mission. likely more downs than ups. the redhead grumbling to himself as he stomped his way home
he was just ready to be in your arms again
still groaning under his breath, he opened the door and stepped inside
he expected to be immediately greeted and comforted by you, as you always had done when he returned home from a mission
he finally found you sprawled out on the couch fast asleep
the downs of the missions have already left his mind as he sees you sleeping peacefully. there is just something about you that always calms him
in your presence, he knows that he is both loved and protected, that you have his back no matter what
in him trying to get comfortable, he ends up waking you up. before you could apologize for not being awake, he tells you not to worry about it
he flops down on the couch right next to you without another word, looking at you from the corner of his eye, though he had looked away when you caught him
you knew exactly what he wanted
you threw the blanket over the both of you, snuggling into his side, laying a gentle peck on his cheek
maybe one of these days he’d learn to say he wanted to cuddle out loud
Tumblr media Tumblr media
it’s not too often that law leaves you to go on a mission. oftentimes, he takes you with him as you are his partner in crime.
this time it was different, something regarding his past that he didn’t want you to get involved with
reluctantly, you agreed to stay behind and wait for him
when he returned home and opened the door, he didn’t expect to find you asleep on the couch cuddled into a pillow in one of his shirts
guilt washes over him. were you really waiting up for him?
he slips off his shoes, grabbing a blanket, and tucks you in gently
your sleeping face, makes him smile. watching your chest slowly rise and fall as you sleep peacefully brings him a deep joy
he sits on the couch next to you, trying his best not to wake you
in your sleep, you flip around, your head resting in his lap.
he wondered if you were even asleep at all or if you could just feel his presence in your sleep. but nevertheless, law feels everything that is troubling him melting away
his hand finds your back, rubbing soothing circles on your skin
he’s home

Finding Peace
domestic stuff with konig <3
vv comforting
Tumblr media
The crisp morning air filled the quaint little cottage as the sun began to rise, casting a warm golden glow through the windows. Konig and you had managed to find a small sanctuary away from the chaos of the world—a place where you could be together and revel in the quiet moments of domestic bliss.
As Konig emerged from the bedroom, his hair tousled and his eyes still filled with sleep, he found you in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingled with the scent of sizzling bacon, creating a comforting atmosphere that filled the room.
He approached you, wrapping his arms around your waist, and rested his chin on your shoulder. "Good morning," he murmured, his voice still husky with sleep.
You leaned back against his chest, relishing in his warmth. "Good morning," you replied, a smile playing on your lips. "Breakfast will be ready soon."
Together, you enjoyed a leisurely meal, savoring each bite and stealing glances filled with love. It was in these simple moments that you found solace—a respite from the dangers and uncertainties that awaited you in the outside world.
After breakfast, Konig suggested a walk by the nearby lake. Holding hands, you strolled along the tranquil path, the sound of your footsteps echoing in harmony. The sunlight danced on the water's surface, casting a mesmerizing reflection that mirrored the love you shared.
As you reached the edge of the lake, Konig pulled you into his embrace, his arms encircling you protectively. You rested your head against his chest, the rhythmic beat of his heart providing a comforting melody.
"I never imagined a life like this," Konig admitted, his voice laced with gratitude. "A life filled with moments of peace and love."
You tilted your head up, meeting his gaze, and smiled. "We deserve this, Konig. We've faced the darkness together, and now it's time to embrace the light."
His lips found yours in a gentle kiss, a silent affirmation of the love you both shared. In that moment, all the worries and troubles of the world melted away, leaving only the two of you in a world where love and happiness prevailed.
As the day wore on, you found joy in the simplest of activities—reading together by the fire, sharing laughter as you cooked together, and even engaging in playful arguments over who was better at video games. These moments, seemingly insignificant to the world, held immense significance to both of you. They were a testament to your love—a love that flourished beyond the battlefields and secret missions.
As the night drew near, you found yourselves snuggled up on the couch, a soft blanket draped over your bodies. The glow of the fireplace illuminated the room, casting a warm and intimate ambiance.
Konig traced circles on your hand with his thumb, his touch a gentle caress. "I never thought I would find peace," he confessed, his voice filled with vulnerability. "But with you, I have found my sanctuary."
You squeezed his hand, your eyes filled with unwavering love. "And with you, I have found a love that brings me solace," you replied, your voice filled with tenderness. "Together, we can weather any storm."
In that moment, surrounded by the coziness of your little haven, you both knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, you would face them together. Your love was a beacon of hope—a light that guided you through the darkness, providing strength and reassurance.

Simon was a private man, always keeping to himself and not speaking about his personal life outside of the military. Whenever the team asked if he had anyone back at home he’d simply ignore their question, changing the topic and focusing back on the mission. Imagine their surprise when his team finds out that Simon is not only married but with children too.
His husband was a single father with twins when they first met, having a daughter and a son to raise on his own wasn’t easy. The two met when the twins randomly appeared in front of Simons porch, playing with the stray cat that He’s been feeding for some time and perhaps had gotten attached to the feline. The twins were both six years old when they first saw Simon, instead of running away in fright or crying due to his large structure it was the young girl who had stood up and pointed at him while shouting. “Wow! You’re so tall!!” Simon was surprised by the child’s reaction, expecting the total opposite. It was the boy who coward away and hid behind his sister as he whimpered in fear by simons appearance but his sister acted tough and kept him safe.
It wasn’t long until Simon met Y/n. The single father would come around everyday to collect his children who continued to sneak out of the house without notice in order to play outside. Due to him being a single father he can’t help but worry for the two only to continue finding them at Simons place. Simon didn’t mind the twins coming around everyday, he mainly worked outside minding his own business but also keeping a close eye on the twins and making sure that they didn’t cause trouble or get hurt. As the two adults continued to interact their conversations grew deeper and meaningful to the point where they started dating until they finally got married.
Four years married. Simon never thought he’d feel warm in his heart again after everything he’s been through. He’d taken care of his family and loved the twins, even though they weren’t his by blood he still cared for them deeply. When simon finally got a break and was able to return back home he didn’t think that he’d see his husband and kids waiting for him close to the base. His husband had close connections to Laswell and allowed the family to wait outside the base.
The team was shocked when they saw two teenagers run up to Simon and tackle him, clinging onto his legs and arms as they cried in joy, happy to be reunited again. Everyone stares with wide eyes as Simon holds both twins up, chuckling softly at the two before his husband approached him. “Welcome home.” Y/n whispers, also pulling him into a hug and kissing the side of his balacava while Simon gives a faint smile underneath. “It’s good to be back.”
“Hey, hey! Stop hogging him!” His daughter, Briar shouts, her arms around his torso and her legs wrapped around his waist. “You’re hogging!” His son, Ren shouts back. He too, is wrapped around his arm and legs, the two holding on tight. Simon huffs a laugh, glancing at the two teens who argued with each other.
“You all forget that he married me, right?” Y/n raises a brow but the twins ignore them and continue to fight. “They never change.” He sighs out deeply. “I expected them to change after being gone for so long.” Simon is able to shake the twins off, finally free from their grip as hovering close to Y/n’s side.
It doesn’t take long for Y/n to approach his team and introduce himself to them, giving them a warm smile and a thank you from protecting his husbands back during his hard and dangerous missions. He finally meets Soap in person after hearing about him for days from Simons short calls or whenever he spent a few days back home. He already knew that Simon wouldn’t be staying for long before he’s sent out on another mission again.
After Y/n speaks with the team and gets to know them, it’s the twins who ask the most questions, especially his daughter.
“Why is your hair like that? How many people did you kill? What does your code name mean? How did you get it?”
It took Ren to drag his sister away from the men, apologizing quietly with a hint of embarrassment as he drags her away from the group and to the kitchen in order to help their father with cooking and keeping her away from talking their ears off.
“You have some kids.” Said Alejandro with a cheeky grin on his face as Simon friend under his mask. “There twins and are opposite from each other, Ren rarely does conversation but Briar can talk your ear off all day.” He didn’t know why he was telling them this but it felt nice too, letting them know a little about his family.
Ren enters the living room and asks everyone. “Does anyone have allergies? We want to make sure so that no one dies on us.” He said softly, causing Simon to release a chuckle while the others let the teen know that they don’t have any allergies before rushing back into the kitchen to continue helping.
His team and family are together and held many conversations, his husband asking about Simon and the things he did during his work while the twins sat in front of soap, asking him many questions, stroking his ego a bit whenever the twins said something that brought him pride.
The first day went by fast, everyone ate, met with each other and then left to see their own families. Simon finally felt at peace to be back home, interacting with the twins and catching up with their lives. He’d found out that Ren had made it into the fencing team at school, becoming the top of the team while Briar still continued to cause chaos, showing him a record of her detention time at school for the amount of pranks she’s caused. Y/n wasn’t too happy about the record but at long as his daughter was passing her classes that’s all that mattered to him. Which was true, even though briar caused trouble she still had good grades in all of her classes.
“ I have report due on Monday. I have to write about someone important and can’t think of anyone. It’s either between you or dad.” Briar grumbled, tapping her pencil on her notebook as she thinks while Ren plays chess with Y/n. “What about Soap? He was interesting.” Said Ren.
“Fuckin hell, you ain’t writing a report about Johnny.” Said Simon with a frown on his face while Briar laughs. “But he’s interesting and his code name ‘soap’.” She air quotes. “Has an interesting story too.”
“Do whatever you want, kid.” Y/n mumbled, focusing on the game as he hums to himself. “As long as you get the report done.” He added, making his next move and letting Ren focus back on his own side of the game. “Besides, you have all week to get the report done. Don’t stress yourself out.” Said Y/n smiling at Briar and reassuring his daughter.
“Well—“ she slams her notebook shut and tossed it aside. “I’ll deal with it later!” She jumps up from her seated spot with a smile on her face, turning to Simon. “Tell us about your work! Did you get someone important?”
“That’s classified.”
Briar pouts. “That’s stupid.”
The four of them enjoyed their time together. Simon could only enjoy their time together until it was cut short again. After being back home for a month he was being sent out again on another mission which caused him to sigh deeply. As much as he hates leaving his family behind he still had a duty to complete.
He stood in his and Y/n’s bedroom, packing up his things while Y/n sat on their bed watching him pack with sad eyes. “It’s sucks how you have to leave again.” He murmured while Simon sighs, setting his shirt inside his bag and rounding the bed to stand in front of his husband. “M’sorry my love.” He leans down to place a kiss on his forehead and then his lips, holding his husband close as the two hold each other. “Good luck on telling the twins.”
Simon groans, knowing the hell the two teens will bring once he tells them that he is leaving again. The two have grown attached to Simon as children, following him around like lost ducklings and always sticking to his side. Y/n was happy to know that his kids loved Simon and quickly accepted him as a parent when they started dating, when they announced their marriage the twins went crazy, throwing themselves on Simon as they cheered happily and were excited to have another dad in their family.
“I’ll make sure they don’t go to crazy.” Said Y/n but also smirked. “But, I can’t promise that it’ll go well.” Simon rolls his eyes, giving him another kiss and getting back to packing. “Soap will pick me up and will head out together.” He zips up his bag after and looks down at his wedding band, taking a chain out of his pocket as he slips off the ring, placing it on the chain and putting the necklace around his neck for safe keeping.
Y/n stands from the bed, walking over and sighing to himself before patting his chest. “Anyways—good luck with the kids!” His sudden mood changing to a mischievous one before leaving their room, heading downstairs to where the twins sat in the kitchen eating breakfast.
Simon had made his way downstairs with bag in hand, setting it by the door. The loud thump gets Rens attention, looking over to eye the bag and then look up to Simon before going back to the bag. His tired eyes suddenly widen in realization. “You’re leaving again?”
Briar chokes on her breakfast, coughing as she shot up from her seat. “Again?!”
“Yes, again.” Simon confirms to the twins as they stumble out of their seats and race to his side. “But you just got here!” Ren exclaimed, upset that Simon had to leave again. Simon gives Ren a sad smile, tussling his hair. “I know, but I have a duty and have to go.” He always had a warm spot for Ren, even though he was a quiet kid he also showed emotion towards current things.
The knock on their front door gets their attention, Simon reached over to unlock the door and pulling it open to see Soap on the other end, giving the Riley family and wave. “It’s time.” He tells Simon who nods in understanding.
“Wait, wait, come here.” Y/n approached his husband and kissed him again. “Be safe and don’t die.” His voice is stern and serious, he couldn’t lose someone important.
“I’ll be back.” Simon picks up his bag, but before he can follow soap out the twins cling onto him.
“I love you father!” Briar exclaimed, her legs wrapped around his waist and arms around his neck. “If you die imma write my report on Soap—no, if you die I’ll write my report about you.”
“I know, I have to go—“
“No wait, dad I changed my mind don’t go!” Ren climbs onto his arm, his legs wrapped around simons left leg as he holds himself up on his arm. Simon is strong enough to balance both twins as he tries to move. “Ren—!”
“Ghost, we have to go.” Said Soap, watching the chaos unveil.
“Don’t go! Who’s gonna walk me down the aisle on my wedding?!” Shouted Briar.
“I have so many unanswered questions what is sex—!” Ren says next as the two continued to go off.
“That’s enough!” Y/n tries to remove the kids from Simon but fails.
“Shake them off, ghost!”
“I’m trying!!”
“I don’t know what sex is!”
“I love you dad!”
Simon shakes his leg, but Briar doesn’t nor does Ren when he tries to remove his arm from his grip. The twins are strong as they hold onto him, soap on the other hand tries to pry the kids off but fails miserably while Y/n wasn’t much help.
The twins continue on until Simon finally snaps. “Enough!” He shouts, stopping the twins rambling as they froze in spot, soap stares with wide eyes until y/n steps forward and whines. “Please be safe Simon, don’t leave me with these freakin kids.”
The twins finally let him go and cling onto Y/n. Briar glaring at Simon while Ren turns to soap. “You better take care of my dad or else I’ll hunt you down the same way my father hunts down his prey.” He hissed out, pointing a finger at soap with intimidation.
Soap gives a stiff nod. “Will do.” He chuckles nervously before saying his farewell and rushing back to the car. Simon shakes his head, turning to Y/n and the twins. “Don’t cause trouble.”
“No promises!” Shouted Briar, who huffed and marched back to her breakfast. Y/n chuckled and gives Simon one last wave as he watched him take his things and enter the car with soap as the two drive away from the Riley residence.
“Uh—“ Soap clears his throat. “Ren was kidding right?”
“No.”
Soap paled.

So here's a little drabble that has been eating at my brain like a Geonosian brain worm so I had to get it out! Please like, reblog and tell me what you think!! I'm still trying to figure out how to make posts look really good like some of the others I see on here so any tips on that would be appreciated too! Hope you enjoy The Book as much as Tech and Echo!!
Tech and Echo discover a lending library on Ord Mantell and Echo shows Tech the joys of book borrowing. However, Tech discovers something unexpected and has trouble deciding how he feels about it. Big Bro Echo to the rescue!
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Tech had been delighted to find that Echo liked to read. It was one of Tech’s favorite activities, especially when between missions, if he wasn’t working on one of his many projects. There was a time when Crosshair would sit and read with him on the spare padd, the two of them sitting companionably in the cockpit en route to wherever and reading whatever was on their respective padds.
But Crosshair wasn’t there to sit with him anymore… and Tech had not realized how much he had missed that simple companionship until Echo had joined them. The first time Echo had hesitantly inquired about something he could read on, Tech had nearly jumped from the pilot’s chair in his excitement. When Echo had mentioned the existence of places where you could actually find books in flimsi form AND touch them and read them, Tech had been hooked. It was on his list of Things To Do When The War Is Over Or I Have A Chance To Try.
That was a particularly long list.
Unfortunately, they were never on any planet that A. wasn’t in a state of war and B. had enough time anyway to look for something like that. It wasn’t until they were on Ord Mantell and running from the Empire that it struck either of them that Echo had promised to take him to one someday. When it had come up in conversation, they had both paused before sharing identical looks. It was only the work of a moment before Tech had his padd in hand and coordinates to the nearest book lender to their ship marked out. They wound their way through the seedier streets of the city until coming to a slightly more reputable part of the town. Tech was afraid they might be a bit conspicuous in their armour in this nicer area but Echo assured him it would not be an issue. As they received no odd or curious glances, he could only assume Echo knew what he was speaking of and continued on til his HUD map showed them at the right place. It was a small, inconspicuous-looking building with only a sign beside a doorway declaring what it was. However, when they entered…
Oh, when they entered!
Tech was very glad he had his helmet on because he knew he was most likely gawking. There were flimsy books everywhere! Echo directed them to a side area where an older Rodian was sitting behind a desk. It wasn’t long before Echo, with fake chain codes in hand, had acquired them both lending numbers which they could use to pick out books to take with them. Tech had long since sliced the padds that they kept on the Havoc Marauder so that he could access other things on them besides just mission related information. He had access to as many things to read as he might want thru that but there was something about this riot of readable items surrounding him that made his insides feel like they were quivering in excitement and happiness. He followed Echo as he showed him how the areas were divided into general topics and how things were arranged. It wasn’t long before they were each browsing through their selected section. Tech was fascinated by the colorful graphics on the covers. He picked up one after the other, examining them and seeing how they were put together. It was all fascinating. He began to wander, trying to see how many sections and topics were available to chose from. It was then he saw it. An entire shelf of books of what looked like several different species in various states of dress and arousal. He glanced around and stepped closer, curiosity peaked. Upon further investigation, he realized these books all had a common theme of romantic, and rather sexual, overtones. He didn’t know how to quantify his thoughts on them. Why would beings wish to read about what he assumed was a largely private issue for most sentients? Granted, there were several species that were overtly sexual by nature but even so it didn’t strike him as a topic usually read about but something more of a participatory activity.
The artwork on the covers was quite fascinating however. It was as he was examining those a bit more in depth that he saw it.
There, right beside one depicting what appeared to be several Jedi in ridiculous poses with scantily clad Twi’lek females hanging over them, was one with what seemed to be a clone, in full armour, arms clasped about a quite curvy female human.
He tried to resist but his curiosity was too great.
He picked it up and turned it to read the blurb on the back.
It was indeed exactly what it appeared to be.
A clone romance.
He had never even imagined that nat-borns, of any species, could or would think of clones in this way. It had seemed that most sentient nat-borns in the galaxy, if they gave a single thought to clones at all, usually only had bad thoughts of them.
This was…intriguing.
He cast another glance around before flipping it open randomly and beginning to read.
He felt his face turning red.
Was that even possible?
He flipped to another area and began to read.
He could feel himself beginning to sweat.
He shut the book abruptly and, after a moment of deliberation, slid it to the bottom of the small set of books he already had in hand.
He left that book section before he could get caught and hurried to another. It wasn’t long before he was engrossed in another section. It didn’t take him long to hit the maximum amount of books he was allowed to check out at one time and he returned to the counter where the elderly Rodian sat and tried not to fidget as he ran his scanner over the bar codes on the spine of each book. As soon as he was done, Tech grabbed them up and stuffed them in the rucksack he had brought along just for this purpose. Echo had one as well and Tech was relieved since he didn’t want to risk getting The Book mixed in with Echo’s. Tech began to wander around, looking for Echo and it wasn’t long before he found him, a pile of books of his own in hand. Tech offered to carry them for him since balancing them in his scomp arm looked a little difficult. Echo accepted with a grateful nod and less than 30 minutes later they were headed back to the Marauder, respective goods in hand…or sack, as the case may be.
Echo went directly to the bunk that used to be Crosshairs and sat his sack down as he began to rummage. Tech headed for the cockpit with his. Thankfully, Hunter had gone for supplies and  Wrecker had taken Omega and headed to fulfill their after mission Mantell Mix tradition. Often they wandered around the outdoor markets as they enjoyed it so he knew they wouldn’t be back for a bit.
Enough time for research.
At least, that’s what he told himself as he pulled out The Book and began to read. Tech could read incredibly fast when he needed or wanted to. As he progressed through the first few chapters of the book he found himself slowing down a bit in order to catalogue the rather fascinating physiological responses he was having to the content.
His slow was still a lot faster than most people and he had completed reading the book by the time the others started coming back to the ship. It was a fortunate thing as he had found the contents to be exceptionally arousing, both physically and mentally. He had found it necessary to, as Hunter liked to say “take care of the problem”, caused by the very viscerally worded content and the imagery provoked by it. He had also been quite surprised to be so emotionally compromised by the storyline and he could not help but wonder if the writer had any personal experience they were drawing from as the way they had written and portrayed the clone protagonist of the story felt very real to him.  So much so in fact that he had found himself resonating in sympathy several times with his conflicted points of view.
He had also been surprised with his feelings regarding the female protagonist. Tech would be the first to admit his experience of the female of any species was lamentably limited. He was, after all, a clone, raised amongst other clones and spending the majority of his time on missions and in the battlefield. There were few females to be encountered in such scenarios and of the ones that were, the type of scenario set forth in the novel had certainly never occurred. Even so, he found himself, confusingly, echoing the feelings of the clone protagonist of the story toward the female.
Even now, having finished the book several hours earlier and hidden it away in his secret spot, he found himself ruminating on the story and feeling both satisfied that they had been able to escape to Wild Space together and simultaneously upset. It took him until several hours into the night cycle to conclude the reason for his upset. When it struck him, it was both so simple and so profound that he was somewhat shocked at the revelation.
He wanted that for himself.
He wanted to be noticed and fixated on, desired and dreamed about. He wanted someone to feel that depth of emotion for him that they would fight the galaxy and give up everything they knew just to keep him in their life. He wanted to experience that level of passion and sexual gratification and connection to someone who felt it for him as well.
When the revelation hit him, it felt rather like a strike to his solar plexus. It left him feeling winded and uncomfortable, more so when he realized that such a thing was highly unlikely to ever happen with the way he and his brothers lived their lives.
He couldn’t quite understand why it hurt as much as it did though.
He tried to put it out of his mind by immersing himself in the other books he had borrowed but the thought continued to pick at the edges of his mind until he felt unusually irritable.
It was inevitable that one of his brothers would call him out on his oddly bad mood. He was just extremely grateful that the one that eventually did was Echo as, of all of them, he was the most likely to be able to understand and have an idea of how to address the issue.
They were in hyperspace on their way to yet another job for Cid when Echo finally approached him late into a night cycle and asked him what was bothering him. He simply dug out the book and passed it to him and asked him to read it. Echo took it silently, his eyebrows rising ever higher as he surveyed the cover then flipped it to the blurb on the back. Tech did his best to ignore the curious and rather impish look his brother cast him before he nodded and agreed. He focused himself on his own book as Echo settled in beside him in the co-pilot’s chair to read. This was a familiar and comfortable scenario for Tech. Echo often found it as hard to sleep as Tech, with his always busy brain, did and frequently found his way to the cockpit to sit in quiet companionship with him as they read or occasionally talked.
Echo, for his part, was deeply intrigued by what Tech had passed to him. He’d never pegged Tech as the type to be interested in sex, much less a secret romantic. Tech had always tended to keep himself to himself, and while he could be physical if a brother was needing comfort, he wasn’t at all what Echo would call the cuddly type. Really, none of the batch were, with the notable exception of Wrecker who, for all his size, was much closer to what Echo was used to with the brothers he had known. It was Wrecker who had most often physically comforted him with hugs and cuddles when he was first with the batch and trying to adjust to, well… everything.
Echo settled in and began to read. He could see at first glance why Tech had been caught by the book. Clone/nat-born romance was, while technically banned by the Republic, still something that had happened quite often, if scuttlebutt was to be believed. Hell, Cut and Suu were proof that the idea wasn’t so far-fetched as the nat-born purists and politicians wanted everyone to believe. Clones were still technically fully-functional human males with fully functioning sex drives and, once they discovered the power of their own physical appeal to certain beings in the galaxy, they were as prone to sexual encounters as any nat-born. The GAR and Senate had recognized that early on and turned a selectively blind eye which in turn meant 79s had been a hotbed of hook-ups and the neighboring GAR sanctioned 69s pleasure house had done a banging business (Echo chuckled quietly at his own unintended pun). There had been much less care given to the occasional sexual encounter but the deeper feelings that could develop into a relationship? That was something else as it undermined the whole argument that clones didn’t count as sentient beings deserving of autonomy. So, while relationships did happen, it was kept much lower profile since they all knew the consequences it could hold for a brother caught or even accused.
As Echo read, he tried to see it thru his brother’s eyes. Why would this have upset Tech to the point of becoming so off-center they had all noticed? Echo had to admit, the sex scenes were pretty steamy and, had he still had all his parts intact, would probably have had him squirming in discomfort from some needs of his own. As it was, he could still mentally appreciate the details and, as the story progressed, could feel himself connecting with certain aspects. The idea of being loved so unconditionally as Tayla loved Jax was rather intoxicating. Echo had long since accepted the fact that such things were beyond him now, it was an old pain that occasionally pricked but no longer ached as it once did but connecting with these characters was causing that old pain of wanting love to rear its nasty head.
Echo paused.
Could this be why his brother was so out of sorts?
Could it be that Tech, the one who, out of all his now brothers seemed most unlikely to, actually wanted to have love? Wanted to have a relationship and a sexual one at that?
Echo took a deep breath and slanted a side-eyed look to his lanky brother draped sideways in the captain’s chair beside him as he considered the thought. While at first it had seemed rather absurd, the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. Tech was the most brilliant person he had ever met, of any species but, with that brilliance came differences too. Echo had been quick to take note when he had joined the Bad Batch. As an ARC, he was no fool himself and had applied himself to learning as much about his new batch as he possibly could as fast as he could and one of the glaringly big things he had noted was that Tech didn’t tick like the rest of them. He wondered if the others even noticed how they accommodated some of his more quirky traits. The longer he was with them the more he doubted that they did notice, it was just second nature to them. None more so than Crosshair though. It had actually not surprised him a bit to learn that they had been tube twins. They seemed to almost have another sense when it came to one another. Echo often noted Crosshair helping Tech to calm when he got agitated or taking him away before he had one of his shutdown episodes, something that had terrified Echo the first time it had happened until Hunter let him know it was just part of how Tech worked. Likewise, Tech always seemed to know when one of Cross’s migraines were incoming and would dim the shipboard lights which everyone knew was a sign to quieten down. They did the same for Hunter on the occasions his senses got overstimulated but it wasn’t as instinctual, often wasn’t until Hunter was showing clear signs. Wrecker had once told him that Tech and Crosshair had always used to sleep together until they got too big to fit in the bunks and even then, if one had a bad night, the other would find a way to fit in with them. It had struck Echo hard as he had already noted how much less prone to physical comfort the batch, and especially Tech, was with one another compared to every other clone batch he knew and made him wonder for the thousandth time what this group of brothers had been through to make them the way they were.
Now that Crosshair wasn’t with them, did Tech long for that comforting connection he no longer had? Was this a case of transference or had Tech always harbored these secret hopes and desires like so many other brothers had?
As he finished the story, he sat for a minute and contemplated how to approach the issue.
“Have you finished the book?” Echo couldn’t help the involuntary quirk of his lips at the question. He should have known even if Tech was doing 5 other things he would still be keeping watch and waiting to pounce as soon as he perceived he was finished.
“Yes I have.”
Tech fidgeted a bit and Echo let him stew til he could ask his question, “Well, what is your opinion?”
Echo looked over at him and cocked a brow, “Is it my opinion on the book you want or something else?”
Tech grimaced, “In truth I do not really know.”
Echo gave the book a little wave, “is it something to do with this that has had you in a, shall we say, less than pleasant mood lately?”
Tech stared out the front of the ship into the swirling blue of the hyperspace lane for a moment before turning back to Echo.
“I know that you are someone who could understand what it is to wish you could be someone other than who you are. You were once whole in body and now you must deal daily with what was done to you by the Techno Union. I can see that this has caused you much distress at times, and not just because of the pain associated with your cybernetics,” Tech paused a moment as he began to fidget restlessly, bouncing his leg and tapping his hands against his thighs. Sure signs of his discomfort with the topic, Echo knew, but he soldiered on, “But did you ever desire before that happened to be someone other than you are? To have a life other than the one you had? To want things that, as a clone, are by nature, denied to you?”
Echo had long since learned to look past the occasionally painfully blunt words Tech used to reach to the heart of what he was trying to say. And what he was saying now was what Echo had been suspecting. Now he had to find a way to say what Tech needed to hear in a way he could understand it. He considered for a moment before answering.
“I don’t think there are many brothers who haven’t, at some point, wondered what life could have been like if we weren’t soldiers, didn’t wonder what we could be if we had been given the opportunity to be free after the war. For myself, I…met someone, once. She,” Echo shifted uncomfortably, dredging up old memories was hard, “she made me want the chance to be something else. But I… couldn’t leave my brothers to do it. I couldn’t be like Cut and… she understood that. I had hoped after the war that clones might have a chance to live free like other sentients in the galaxy, that maybe I could go back and find her but then… the Citadel happened and… a lot of other things and I realized that that dream was just that, a dream.”
Echo looked over at Tech who was regarding him with wide eyes. Echo tried not to smile. Sometimes he forgot that he had not been with them forever, that there were parts of his story they didn’t know.
“Did you?”
“Did I what?”
Tech gave him a Look.
“Did you ever try to find this woman again?”
Echo gave an uncomfortable shrug before turning to look out the viewport, “It doesn’t matter. Sometimes its better to leave the past in the past and go forward. I’m a different person now and am on a different path.”
It was silent for a few moments before Tech spoke again.
“Do you ever wish to find something like that again?”
Echo shot his brother a sidelong look and quirked his lips at the question and the very nonchalant way Tech tried, and failed, to ask it. Echo turned and leaned his head back against the seat headrest.
“It would take an extraordinary woman to want me as I am now but, sometimes, I remember what it felt like to be with her and I… miss it.”
He watched from the corner of his eyes as his brother took and absorbed his words. He waited a bit more before he turned his head to look at his troubled vod.
“There is nothing wrong with wanting to love someone and be loved in return, even for clones, no matter what the Kaminoans, or Senate, or GAR or any other being says. We are just as human as any nat-born and have all the same wants and wishes. And there’s nothing wrong with not wanting that either. What is good for one person may not be the same as for another, everyone is different. But don’t ever feel like you don’t deserve something just because the galaxy makes you feel like you shouldn’t Tech.”
Tech gave him a faint smile before leaning back in his seat as well. They sat in companionable silence for a bit before Tech spoke again.
“I… know that I am at times somewhat… difficult to communicate with. I have never learned the knack of easy communication with other beings. I try but, something in me is just too…different. At times I know I even exasperate my batch, who have had since our decanting to learn to deal with me.”
Echo looked over, his heart clenching in compassion at Tech’s unusually halting speech. It hurt him to hear Tech speak of himself in this way. It wasn’t that it wasn’t true, it was just that Echo had never realized Tech was so aware of it, felt so keenly his differences. Echo had learned soon after joining his new batch that Tech loved to talk about the things that interested him, which seemed to be everything, and that the others often lost patience with his chatter. Not that they ever were intentionally cruel or indifferent to him but it was obvious that they often just considered it background noise. Echo made it his mission to engage Tech a bit by asking questions occasionally and was rewarded with surprise, shock and a painful amount of hesitation at first, and then, when Tech realized he was truly asking and not just messing around with him, unbridled enthusiasm and joy at having someone to engage with. That alone sealed Echo’s intent to make sure to listen to his younger vod. Maybe not always but often enough that he knew he was heard. And Echo found he quite often enjoyed listening to Tech and finding ways to try and trip him up on his knowledge or get him to debate his point on something. Soon, picking at his younger vod and getting him to reveal that sharp and biting wit and humor he had was a valued pastime. And he could tell that Tech enjoyed it too by the simple fact that he would seek him out to bounce his thoughts off of sometimes.
Echo paid attention now as his vod turned to him with a surprisingly vulnerable expression.
“I have worked to adjust my parameters so that this failing of mine is less intrusive than it used to be but I still have never been what one could consider an easy companion. I doubt that is something I will ever truly master,” he looked down, “I am grateful to have all of you as my brothers and companions but I have lately been struck with the desire for more and cannot help wondering if I am too different for anyone to…consider.” He ended, somewhat lamely, with a small, awkward hand gesture.
Echo’s heart clenched yet again for his vod. This, at least, was something he could address. He turned the chair so it was facing Tech and leaned forward til he could clap a hand on his brother’s knee. He knew Tech was iffy about physical gestures but he needed to get his undivided attention. Tech jumped and shot his gaze to Echo’s and Echo let go now that his mission was accomplished.
“Listen vod,” he began, making sure Tech was tuned in to him, “Every brother I know who has ever felt that way has, for lack of a better way to say it, felt that way as well,” Echo huffed a chuckle before continuing, “when you’re a clone though, the worry is often how can I make someone see I’m not exactly like all my other brothers? How do I make someone see me for me? We all have worried that there is either not enough special about us to stand out or, like you, if we are too different for anyone to want to see us and still want us. I have it on good authority of several nat-borns I’ve known that this is a problem they share and worry about as well. Everyone sometimes wonders if they are worthy of love and I’ll tell you what I was told when I posed that question myself.
You. Are. Worthy. No matter who you are or how you feel about yourself, you are worthy because you are a living being and every being that exists is made to give and receive love because love is the basis of the Force. Love is the greatest thing you can ever give or receive.”
Tech simply looked at him with his big eyes, so similar and yet not to his own. Echo looked back, hoping like everything that his little brother understood what he was trying to say. Finally, Tech slowly nodded and leaned back again into the capacious pilot’s seat.
“Thank you Echo. I… will have to think on what you have said. It is a difficult concept to… internalize.”
Echo smiled, “Just as long as you eventually do. I mean it vod,” Echo felt the need to lighten the mood a bit, “After all, I love your quirky shebs and if you can win me over, you can win anybody.”
Tech smirked over at him. “You are entirely too easy. The better descriptive would be, if I can get Crosshair to not threat me daily with death, I can win anybody.”
Echo laughed. It was true, Tech was about the only one Crosshair didn’t threaten to shoot daily. Whether that was because he actually did love him more or simply didn’t want to consider twin murder one couldn’t tell.
After a few moments of comradely silence, Echo looked over at Tech.
“So, you gonna show the others the book?”
“Absolutely kriffing not.”

Hi, can i request HC platonic little sister (female reader she/her), who wants to make her 4 brothers happy?
Like she knows mikey wanted that famous rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and she comes up to him saying " hey mikey, close your eyes and give me your hands, i swear it's not a prank! " and when she gives him he gets so shocked he almost cry and scream of joy at the same time.
She do the same with her 3 older brothers because she loves going so far to make them happy.
( in case you couldn't find a thing that may make the brothers so happy may i suggest; a poster of leo with lou outfit back when he was fighting in BNC, for Donnie a rare computer chip, and for raph she sew a ghost bear - she hates him btw - teddy bear big size for raph).
If this request is too much then please feel free to ignore/delete it.
Okay that's honestly so cute, I love that idea ♡

Little presents
Tumblr media
• you never thought you'll find yourself considering four mutant turtles your older siblings
• but it did happened somehow
• and you were really grateful for that
• there wasn't any boring moment with them, always having some sort of fun activity going on like Mikey teaching you how to cook, Leo showing you his favorite Lou Jitsu scenes or doing tricks with his blue portals that you had no idea how they worked, Donnie explaining to you how he build his inventions even tho you didn't understand any word he said or Raph showing you the best ways to protect yourself in the dojo
• they cared for you deeply and you cared for them
• that's why you decided to repay them for their kindness, you really wanted to make them happy just like they made you
• it wasn't easy but being a really determined kid you went on a mission to get your brothers some presents (April helped you get some of them because she was a little concerned you could get in trouble doing this all on your own and almost got a heart attack more times she wanted to admit)
• when you achieved your task successfully it was time to deliver the items to each of the turtles
• first on your list was Mikey
• and when I tell you he was extremely happy I mean he was absolutely delighted when you handed him that super rare cooking book that got sold out years ago and no one was printing it anymore
• he definitely picked you up spinning around and giggling saying "thank you" repeatedly with the biggest grin you ever saw
• he did question tho were did you get that and you started to tell him a story about that cool old book shop you found somewhere in a weird alley where cashier looked like a big owl, how she was very nice too and helped you look for this book
• Mikey thought he would pass out because how the hell did you get into the Hidden city- oh, you ran off already
• the next turtle was Leo, who you were able to find doing tricks on a skateboard
• when he saw you he momentarily stopped and asked what's up and why you and Mikey were so loud earlier, he stopped when he saw you handing him something
• he thought he would cry when he realized it was a poster - with him AND Lou Jitsu
• that was, like, the coolest thing ever
• he didn't even asked where did you get that, just thanked you million times and went to the first person he saw (which was Mikey, going to kitchen with his new cooking book) to brag about him being your favorite brother because "have you seen what cool pesent she gave me? none of you got something this awesome-"
• your next stop was a lab, so you knocked in a irregular pattern - a code that Donnie taught you so he knew it was you
• when the doors opened you went straight to the chair he was sitting at, tinkering with things you did not recognize
• not wanting to interrupt him, you slowly slid a little square to him, finally catching Donnie's attention, he lifted his mismatched goggles and examined onject and upon recognising what it was he let out a verbal "gasp!"
• Donnie isn't very good at expressing his gratitude but the excited sparkle in his eyes resured you he really liked that computer chip that he tried to get a grasp on for quiet some time now and even though you may not understand what exactly was so special about it, seeing the turtle so happy was enough to make your efforts on getting it worth
• and speaking of that "I am grateful for this thoughtful gift but, uh, could you enlighten me on how did you get into a possession of something so-"
• you, again, decided to disappear into thin air
• finally, the last one on your list, the oldest big brother, Raph
• finding him was easy, it was the time of the day for his training, so you headed to the dojo, already hearing him from afar
• announcing your arrival, not wanting to accidentally get hit, he greeted you with a smile and pat on the head
• the gift you had for him was probably the only one you did yourself (okay, maybe not entirely by yourself but for the most part that was true) - a Ghost Bear plushie, almost as big agroun
• your heard that he liked him, you not so much after hearing about his evil doings, but if it's what would make your older brother happy then so be it
• maybe for you it was not perfect, in some parts steaches were visible, but for Raph it was indeed perfect and he couldn't dream of a better present, which was clearly indicated by the loud thumping of his tail repeatedly hitting the ground
• "it's really amazing! and it's detailed too, just like you have seen him while sewing!.. wait-"
• let's say, you did end up with you making your brothers extremely happy
• and extremely concerned at the same time
• good luck with explaining where did you get all those gifts ^^

It was like any normal evening with Yuji. He comes over to your dorm lays in bed with you, cuddled up against you surrounded with a bunch of his kids (Your hello kitty plushies) feeling loved and happy to be with you after a long mission. You of course were overly excited to see him again after a day or 12 hours of not seeing him with a big feeling of joy rushing through your veins as you held onto him like your life depended on it. Sometimes you think how lucky you are to be with someone like him? I mean, he’s so sweet, kind, generous…especially extremely patient with you. It warms your heart to think you’ve finally found someone who could handle your ADHD without getting upset or annoyed easily. You would fidget and squirm a lot which caused guys to stay away from you, it made you sad for awhile thinking you were a burden to everyone with your disorder but when Yuji appeared everything changed for your thoughts and feelings.
At first you were scared to tell him you had ADHD, afraid he would leave like everyone else but when you gathered enough courage to tell him- he didn’t mind it all. When you heard the sentence leave his mouth, “I don’t mind. It’s not like it’s your fault, plus i find your fidgeting cute.” You felt your heart explode, you always had trouble with your fidgeting so when you heard someone found it cute made your heart melt. Time skipping ahead. When you two started getting closer he learned more about you, you’re extremely obsessed with hello kitty, you two have a lot in common and both read the same Manga! When Yuji first saw your room he was surprised, he thought you were joking but when he seen it himself you weren’t.
Your bed was just plain (B/C) with a lot of Hello Kitty plushies and a Hello Kitty blanket, your wall covered with posters and pictures of you and your friends, a Hello Kitty theme vanity mirror, a theme lamp- you even have a theme toaster! Your room was amazing and pretty cute, it only made him more attracted to you, which moves forward to now. You and Yuji have been together for over 10 months now and you were the more happiest girl ever, when just seeing his faces makes you giddy inside. It made Sukuna absolutely sick to his stomach but you didn’t care! But from the happiest moments…you still have a feeling of doubt for all of this. Always had bad thoughts if Yuji was dating you out of pity, or because you were an easy shot? All these thoughts clouded your head you didn’t realize you were starting to day dream, fidgeting with his hand more than usual and squirming from the awful feeling.
Yuji sensed a mood change in the demeanor feeling your fingers fidget around his hand more and you squirming staring at nothing but the bed with a blank stare. You were day dreaming again. Yuji rubbed his thumb across your fidgety hands with furrowed eyebrows, “Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked softly snapping you out of your thoughts to look at him, his eyes read concerned as he looked at you, you looked back biting your lip looking away, sighing in response. Before you knew it you started rambling about what you were thinking, you rambled about how you thought he was dating you for the pity of it or because you were an easy shot etc etc.
Yuji didn’t intervene or interrupt you but just stayed there taking in your words as he caressed your hand with his thumb. He hummed as well as nodding his head paying attention to each word you’re saying, when you gotten done with your rambling you looked up at Yuji with furrow eyebrows. “So..yeah..t-that’s what i’ve been going through my head..I-I’m sorry It was just a lot and i started to ramble and I- mm!?” Your eyes went wide feeling Yuji’s lips ontop of yours practically telling you to shut up and listen, you relaxed into his kiss, kissing him back for a moment before he pulled away bringing you closer to him. “(Y/N) stop. The day we started dating remember when I told you I loved you for you? I’m not dating you out of the pity of it nor because you were an easy shot, I started liking you because you’re you and that’s what made me attracted. And the rambling? I don’t care, It’s better if you let it out than hold it in.” You felt your eyes start to water at the comfort he gave you, you remembered half that day when he said those words..due to bad memory you couldn’t remember it all but you remembered his words.
“I will always love you, I wouldn’t do anything to change you. You’re perfect the way you are.”
That’s right..he did say that. You bit your lip leaning your head into the crook of his neck hugging him close as his grip tightened around your waist pecking your shoulder blade, rubbing your hips. “You don’t need to be sorry either. It happens to the most of us, i hear you apologize again I’ll get Gojo sensei.” He teased chuckling at your groan, “Ugh..he’s gonna give me a lecture for two hours again.” You mumbled in between his neck as he laughed shrugging his shoulders, “it’s better to get more help that way. But that’s only if I hear you apologize again for nothing.” You rolled your eyes snuggling closer to him breathing in his comforting smell, “You’re really the best Yuji.” You said playing with the back of his hairs, get felt his heart speed up smiling at your words. “Only for you.”
“I’m always heree.”
