Namjoon hinting at a Taekook unit? «Let's feel what we feel»
So, Hybe just released this interview to promote Namjoon's latest release. Jimin went to Namjoon's very nice and fancy apt to listen to his new songs and talked over it a bit --super interesting interview on his own btw. It really comes through how much being the leader of BTS became such a burden to Namjoon. It was fun watching Jm's stunned reactions on Nj's songs. I really enjoyed this. Jimin just looked super-cute with his amazed expressions and painted nails:
Enfants riches déprimés -ha
Now, it got a bit more serious and emotional after the listening thing. I wanted to comment on this excerpt here around 26 min. mark (nearly at the end of their meeting). Namjoon wasn't singling out a Taekook subunit; however, he was heavily implying a change in that direction, about their need to change things around a bit, to avoid things from becoming a burden again or having too much pressure, to keep their work lighter than before.
Namjoon says: In the end when we’re all back together –after having different experiences [in the military]– I think each of our experiences will be really helpful.
Jm: I’m really excited about that –I think It’ll be fun. But when 2025 comes around, you’ll feel the pressure of being a team again, will you be okay with that?
Nj: No [jimin laughs], but I think I’ll be a little stronger after releasing this album.
Jm: Now that I’ve heard what you’ve been going through for the past year, I understand what you’re trying to say, but I also think it’s because you’re so special (...).
Nj: We have to do some concerts. Jimin says You and me should do a song together.
Nj: Let's do that. Let’s release unit albums... We can keep mixing up different units within BTS .
Jm: That sounds fun.
Nj: Jungkook, V, Jimin, RM [Looking forward to different futures, remarks the editing staff] Suga, Jin, Hope.
Jm: I want to do it with all the members. Let's feel what we feel and then focus on our stuff again. I think that’s the most important thing.
While Namjoon just noods.
I feel like Jimin's thinking here about how these possibilities will affect his outlook, his career. Then these subunits are just necessary things to take care of their friendship, relationships, as well as themselves as indivuals. I found interesting the way Namjoon glanced back at Jimin while saying this, and the staff remarking «different futures».
Namjoon hinted at the possibility of other subunits, that should imply Taekook as well. He stated more clearly while doing their music there was this need for being authentic, genuine: Now, when we make our own content, I think being normal is the worst possible thing we can do. There has to be a reason for doing it and our own originality has to go into it. That’s what I think.
Plus, the acknowledgment, even blessing by the company, that got Taekook through their staged reconciliation in In The Soup. Suga's vigorous words of support towards them lately. Jimin distancing himself from his ship and the Daeun rumour running high these days as well. I think things are heading in a pretty clear direction right now.

𝗕𝗨𝗧 we were born to be alone 𝗕𝗨𝗧 why we still looking 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞?
(kang seulgi, cisgênero feminino, ela/dela) PREPARE TO GET STARSTRUCK!
Nome: Choi Eunhye. Nome ocidental/nome de palco: Henley. Idade: 24 (vinte e quatro) anos. Data de nascimento: 06/01/1999. Ocupação: Rapper do Pinkish. Sexualidade: Bissexual. Altura: 1,61m. Nacionalidade: Coreana.
PROJETOS
2016: Mentor de Pesadelos (Paródia de: Professor de Pesadelos). Interpretou Kang Yerim.
2020: Goedam. Interpretou Min Young.
2020: O Telefonema (Paródia de: A Ligação). Interpretou Oh Youngsook
HEADCANONS

Did you give Sang Hoon your number? No, I didn't. What does it matter to you? You should've given him your number. Do you want me to give you his number? Forget it. What is this? Is he that bad? You're so guarded. Why are you acting like Wang Ja Rim? How annoying.
Hey. I'm sorry about what I said earlier. But if you're not interested in him, you're not. Why did you get so mad?

my god i am holleringgggg on the damn floorrrrrr!!!!! (pleaseeeee someone make a gifset of shockeed! heedo in the men's bathroom, heard it lengthens life expectancy) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 writers really said let's give them a respite before the real breakup arc begins. ok i am ok with that, i am super okay actually that i get to see some really fluffy moments in this ep, some good tension that can lead to something more significant (👀) in the future, and yes....some sad yet relatable moments...you know...as a member of the proletariat.
i went into this episode with the assumption that i would be kind of awkward when yijin fucking licked that ice cream in front of highschooler heedo lol but what the hell the countless times i pulled my hair because of the giddiness i felt for the YiDo moments ahhhhhhhhh (i can't get behind YiHe sorry 😞😂) heedo's cuteness is out of this world!!!! she is having a crush!!!! and she is conflicted!!!!! and it's making her insane!!!!(more than her usual amount of insanity to be specific) but i have to admire heedo's determination in crossing out every face in daeun's section just to see daeun's face who unfortunately for heedo is inspireed by sadako. we need to protect this cinnamon roll!!!! and yijin really sees her as his personal entertainer, huh? i meant the good kind, the kind where you say shit like "i DoNt nEeD a rAiNb0w" (me continuing that statement: "bEcAuSE u ArE mY rAinB0W...) good goddd i am crazy over these two fools!!!!! i am losing my mind over heedo losing her mind in the next episodeeeeee ahhhhhhhh ahahhahahahshhahahhahaha. however, on a serious note, i think that heedo's the only one crushing hard...good...good...good..... (wow icb im saying these things when ive done some crazier shit when i was 19 🤡)
*sighs like a grandma* the hair ruffle....the fireman carry just to get her feet to safety....the face wiping..... the always on hand stickers that is JUST IN CASE THEY MET OH MY GOD VERY MUCH LIKE HOW HE CARRIES AROUND FULL HOUSE VOLUME 15 *sighs deeply, took my heart out and placed it in the refrigerator (can't have too much fluff or it'll malfunction* (.....if they really didn't end up in the present timeline i think that yijin's carrying in his person some personal memento from heedo or maybe from both of them....you know....just in case......pain)
heedo's mom is insufferable and maybe that's an understatement still. how is she like that???? how does she sleep at night knowing she hurts her daughter's feelings often and once crushed her friend's heart? and she kicked yijin???? but later told heedo that that was a good call?!!!!! maam????!!! we need to get you to a mental hospital, i think. my god the parents of boomers' (omg heedo and yijin can pass as a boomer today lolllll. i mean probably they are generation x but still 🤣) today really have it hard to be doing shits like that. correcting the mistakes of your subordinates is okay but physically assaulting them is not. jeezusssss. she's probably the character i don't like the most in this show. great acting but i hate what her character largely represents.
anyway, i reallllllllllly love seungwan's character. i think she's my most favorite sans the leads. maybe i see myself in her. we have several similarities after all. keep doing u girl! i hope she gets to have some BAMF moment in the future like dismantling capitalism. oh too big? maybe advocating for the compulsory therapy of mothers and mothers-to-be instead lollllll
literally net zero information about min chae's father. it's not like i expected her to say "im so glad father took mother's side" because that would end the intrigueeee. im also here for the intrigue ngl 😭 but like can they give us hintssss to work withhhh? her father quarantining is a solid one but we need moreeeee. or did they alreadyyy.... and i am too dumb to realize it? 💀
.....i think that something really bad would happen to yurim's mom.....
i believe that the majority of this episode is for our sword-wielding bisexuals to expand their rivals-to-lovers dynamic and i am always here for ittttttt like crazy ahhhhhh ahahhahah that tension! man.... kissing is a nice resolution, actually
and the meeting up???? insanity! 🤣 glorious insanity!!!
so when yijin told yurim that he will assess if the person she will be meeting is safe or not, i imagine feral heedo with rabies and yijin have to restrain herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
and as i've said i am hollering over the majority of this episode! great contrast to yesterday's situation. especially when heedo walked decisively to yijin and saying "i have to have you" ah aha hahahh hahhahahahahha hajhdjhagsdjhgajsdjahjkhjkahhjhaks heedooooooooo😭😭😭😭 what do you mean😭 like as a pet? as a clown? as a professional life coach? as your uhhh.....boyfriend????!!!! she really keeps yijin on his toes and keeps his mind sharp because of the thinking he is doing to get heedo out of tricky situations pr even just to understand her actions lolllllll
thank god for fluff i can sleep peacefully now
#2521#ramblings at dawn#spoilers under cut#lots of yido moments and i cant get to all of them bcs my brain would explode#twenty five twenty one

Since I'm posting 'EttU' tomorrow, I'll go over the characters a little since there are a few changes, and I made their full names recently (other than Kerchek and Kamina's).
The reason that the kids younger than Vidalia don't have two surnames is because Namseon and Ennui never got the chance to officially marry. Kamina and Kerchek only have one middle name because they were raised on earth and didn't have a lot of connection to Golesh culture. Kamina also has only one surname because that's just how Kerchek wanted it at the time.
Everyone else has two middle names, each parent chooses one themselves.
🛑 Namseon Analiah Sari Itarih-Min: 9ft 11, 36yrs
-Single mom at the moment, trying to raise kids that she hardly knows, because she had to separate all of them from herself for protection.
☠️ Kerchek Ve'ondré Willis: 10ft 2, 20yrs
-Single dad at the moment, running away from his past and his grief.
👹 Vashti Soraya Reisse Hitami-Min: 10ft 6, 17yrs
-The Lylu of her generation. She struggles to connect with people and comes off as cold, especially towards Seojun.
😼 Vileah Chaeyong Izumi Hitami-Min: 10ft 8, 17yrs
-She doesn't have that much story, she's mostly the bubbly kind of airheaded sister who has a giant sweet tooth. Good at giving sound advice, but doesn't always practice what she preaches.
😇 Vitanya Malik Kalu Hitami-Min: 11ft 0
-Very big on dancing and procrastinates on every project. They prefer not to think about his life on Arsinia.
🌚 Vidalia Eunji Kaiya Hitami-Min: 9ft 7, 17yrs
-The quietest quadruplet, prefers to wear her hair in finger waves or to attach braided ponytails to it.
🐕 Seojun Ikem Abeo Min: 10ft 9, 14yrs
-Didn't like earth when he first ended up here and Griffin Rock is the third place he's lived, he doesn't want to get attached to it because he's terrified of what the future holds. He wants to build a better relationship with Vashti, but she just won't let him in.
👁️ Jiwoo Illianna Eunjeong Min: 10ft 0, 13yrs
-Was bullied in school because her skin was darker than what was desirable in South Korea. Straightens her hair regularly because of her insecurities.
😤 Kyree Darius Amon Min: 8ft 11, 13yrs
-A little small for his age and he hates it. He's secretly jealous of Seojun because he's tall and powerful, but he doesn't know the toll that comes with that power. He resents Kerchek because he got to grow up with a family, but he doesn't know what really happened to him there.
🙉 Lee Karim Hiroshi Min: 6ft 2, 11yrs
-A big troublemaker who likes steal Alena's costume skirts to wear over his running shorts. Always covered in bandaids. He hardly remembers anything before they were separated and he actively refused to dig deeper.
🥶 Alena Rumi Daeun Min: 5ft 11, 11yrs
-Sheltered and terrified of everything. She clings to Lee.
💫 Elodie Dominique Akira Min: 5ft 4, 8yrs
💫 Eloho Adeleide Nakia Min: ⬆️
💫 Estelle Miriam Sonya Min: ⬆️⬆️
-These three stayed with Namseon in hiding because they were only babies. They don't understand why most of their siblings are so cold and distant when it comes to her.
♾️ Kamina Janae Liu: 3ft 7, 2yrs
-Just a baby. Got attached to Graham at some point and earned a bonus dad. Doesn't understand what happened to her bio dad. It seems like one day, he just disappeared.

Mobile Sims 4 CC KPOP/JPOP/CPOP List
This is the full list of KPOP/Jpop/Cpop cc for people using mobile. If you want to see a list of my CC that isn't meant for this list you can go here. I will update both lists as CC gets released. If you want to see the full list of cc I plan on releasing and to see what I am currently working on go here
If the group name is linked it means clicking on it will lead you to the group cc.
If the idol's name is linked that means the link will lead you to the bias cc.
People in disbanded groups and are not active as a soloist will be listed under the last group they where in.
If they are currently in a group that is still actively promoting then they are under that group name.
If someone has been a soloist their whole career they will be listed under soloists.
If someone was apart of a disbanded group and is active as a they will still be listed under the last group they where in.
Project groups/Temp groups will not be included on this list because most if not all have main groups or are/were active soloists.
Because there is over 4659 individual idol names active and inactive the groups might be added before the biases are.
Bold mean’s it’s been done and maybe needs a update.
Slash through a person name means cc has been released and is the last update of that set because of a jail or a scandal that was too severe to continue to support that person.
Slash through a group name means the cc has been updated for the last time for that group(usually because of disbandment) and will not be updated unless the group releases a new album.
Italics means that it’s in a huge group/bias set because the group/person didn't/doesn't promote a lot.
✞ means that the person the cc was done for died and will no longer be updated after it's initial release, or will only be updated to include their final promotions.
[xxx]means clicking on it will lead you to the group or bias cc depending on which you click the idol name or the group name.
CC is listed under the cut

Summary: Seokjin returns to his small hometown after a decade, hoping for a Hallmark holiday romance. He learns he didn’t have to go so far from home for it.
A/N: Sorry for the lack of a header image on these chapters; Tumblr has decided to rename itself Karen and get a shitty dye job - it will only let the post appear in tags if I don’t have an image.
Jin did his best to push aside the lingering ache after Jimin’s departure. The news had gone around town quite quickly; it was almost eerie how fast it spread, and while folks weren’t too happy that he’d managed to succeed in the ‘evil city business plan’ they were all decidedly happy that he hadn’t stayed longer than necessary. Jin’s father had made a passing comment about it over dinner that Monday, though he decided not to respond; and when his mother asked after he returned home he gave a polite – albeit vague response that things just… Didn’t work out. Not a match, he’d said. Not exactly a lie, but not the entire truth.
Taehyung had been markedly more upset when Jin told him what had happened, both at how it happened and how Jin likely felt about it. He offered to come and get Jin from the town, return when the car was fixed, but Jin declined. Christmas was that following Saturday, and his mother had a lot of preparation to do, which allowed Jin to throw himself into working on that and try to forget his thoughts for a while. Realistically, he knew the city would do no better for him than the town was.
That Tuesday, Jin’s mother received a call from Mr. Min; the part was scheduled to arrive the Monday following Christmas, and Mr. Min could have it installed and ready to go by that Wednesday. Only one more week in town, it seemed.
Jin’s days were filled with crafts and planning, organization and putting together holiday boxes and other treats for the town. Though his mother often had a small group of individuals helping her with things, she was always the ring leader, which gave Jin ample work to complete.
On the morning of Christmas eve, Jin’s mother informed them over breakfast that the Lees had invited them to dinner that evening. Though Minsu seemed less than excited about the prospect, Jin was eager to see his old friends again, and finally meet Jia.
They drove out the Lee’s farm that evening. Jin hated the ache that formed in his chest when they pulled up to the driveway. He could clearly visualize himself and Jimin standing there. He pushed the surge of emotion aside and entered, grinning brightly at the family. Daeun was just as he’d remembered, tall and lean – a stunning woman both in looks and personality. She rushed up and hugged him without hesitation, planting a kiss on his cheek.
Jin laughed as she did, and Jinki approached, clapping him on the shoulder. “Lucky I know you, otherwise I’d think you’re trying to steal her,” he joked.
Jin grinned. “She’d never have me. She’s got better taste.”
Daeun scoffed and smacked his chest. She turned. “There’s someone who wants to meet you. Jia.”
Jin glanced up. A tall, slender preteen came around the corner. She had shoulder length hair, cut in a stylish bob, and a round, soft face, indicative of her age. Though she had no real shape to her form yet, she held herself in a polite, feminine manner. She wore a pair of well-fitting jeans and a light pink top, and had a brushing of makeup across her face.
Jin grinned brightly. “Jia! It’s nice to finally meet you. Last time I saw you you were a fluffy little infant. You’ve grown up beautifully.”
Jia’s entire face lit up, a smile spreading across her cheeks. “Dad told me a lot about you, how you two were friends when you were a kid.”
“Your Mom and Dad kept me out of a lot of trouble. They were very dear friends to me,” Jin agreed. He stepped forward, offering his hand. “I’m glad to get to finally put a face to the name. Your Dad went on about you for an hour when I came last week.”
She giggled, shaking his hand lightly.
Jinki clapped Jin’s shoulder. “Dad’s in the kitchen, watching some of the last-minute things. How are you doing? I heard Jimin left…”
Jin smiled and shrugged. He glanced over, watching Daeun, Minsu, and Jihae disappear into the kitchen. “It’s no big deal,” he said. “This sort of thing happens in the city, it’s just how that culture is.”
Jinki made a noise that told Jin he didn’t quite believe him. Jin watched Jia go over to the couch, settling into the corner with her legs tucked under her. She opened a book, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Do my parents know?” Jin asked softly, walking a little further away so as not to embarrass the child. “About Jia?”
“Yes, they’re one of the only other families that know in the town. Your mother’s been a huge support. Your father…” He shrugged. “I won’t say he supports it, but he refrains from using the wrong name and pronouns, so – it’s something at least.”
Jin nodded. “Good. I didn’t want things to get awkward otherwise. How have you been? Are you comfortable with the land deal?”
“Yeah,” Jinki nodded. He led in over to the other loveseat across the small living room so they could talk without disturbing Jia. “Honestly it’s a relief. This property is far too big for my father to work on his own, even with our help. Daeun hates farm work, and while I’m glad to help, I can’t do it myself either. Jia abhors manual labor, not that I blame her, and if she has her way she’ll be on her way to the city as soon as she can so… Having less land will help us, I think. We can focus our efforts more on a concentrated area and probably get better results.”
Jin nodded. “Have you talked to the other owners? The ones that also sold?”
“Yeah, all of us got together shortly before they finalized their contracts to discuss it. They wanted to make sure all of us were getting a fair return on it.”
“And?”
Jinki shrugged. “You vouched for him that day, and you were right. He was true to his word. And frankly, the money he offered for the land is well above what we’d make in a lifetime working it ourselves. It’ll be a huge help for us and for the town. Despite their hatred of big city business… They won’t say no to that money.”
“God knows it’s needed,” Jin agreed. “Good though. I’m glad it worked out. And honestly – given Jia’s preferences to art – having a place like this nearby could be good for her. I know they’ll try to stay out of the town’s way but even casual interaction with managers or scouts, it could pay off.”
“She’s incredibly excited.” Jinki chuckled. “She asked if she could get her first job working there.”
Jin laughed a little. “She’s ambitious. It’s a good trait.”
“I agree. I wanted to talk to you, by the way. I haven’t had time to text – things have been crazy prepping for this dinner, as well as the finalization of the land sale… But I talked to Daeun about the camp. Your offer.”
Jin nodded.
Jinki sighed heavily, and Jin frowned a little, his shoulders sagging. “She doesn’t like the idea?” He asked carefully. He’d said it was their choice, and of course it was, but he’d become rather fond of the idea.
Jinki shook his head and chuckled. “That woman is going to be the absolute death of me. And if she’s not, Jia will be. How I got stuck with the two most bull-headed women on this continent… I must have been a grave robber in a past life.” He grinned. “She loves the idea, and she gave me a decent verbal beating for hesitating and trying to tell you no.”
Jin’s grin reappeared then. “Yeah? Did you tell Jia?”
“We haven’t yet. Not directly. We wanted to let her know about it in a less… Obvious way, see what she thought. So we brought it up as a thing we’d heard about. She was so excited and interested. She was desperate to know more… But a little upset that she’d probably never be able to go… Being in the city and expensive, and we don’t talk to our family there much so… And we wanted her to meet you, see how you two get along before dropping the decision in her lap. Honestly, we thought it might make a nice Christmas gift from you. So… If you’d like, you can tell her tonight. Over dinner, or after – whatever you’re more comfortable with. Offer, see what she says. Though I’m guessing I know the answer.”
Jin smiled and nodded. “I’d be glad to.”
“Seokjin?”
Jia’s voice was timid. Jin looked up, watching her approach. She placed her hands in front of her, biting her lip. “Um… Mom mentioned that you…”
Jin waited patiently, keeping his expression relaxed.
“Jia?” Jinki pressed softly.
Jia smiled nervously, huffing out a breath. “That you’re… That you’re gay.” Her cheeks brightened as she spoke, and Jin chuckled.
“I am.”
Jia nodded. “And she said that… You came out while you were living here. I know it didn’t go well but… I… Mom suggested… I mean, I wanted…” She froze and sighed.
“You don’t need to be nervous,” Jin said softly. “What do you need?”
Jinki clapped Jin’s knee. “I’m going to go check on them in the kitchen. It’s eerily quiet and that’s concerning.”
Jin chuckled and nodded, watching him walk off.
Jia took the seat her father vacated, twisting her hands together on her lap. She sighed. “I want to start coming out,” she confessed in a voice barely above a whisper. “But I’m scared. I know how the town treated you and I know what they still say. I’m not ashamed of what I am, but…”
“But you know how cruel they can be,” Jin filled in, and Jia nodded.
“Yeah. I know it’s not the same thing, but… You’re the only person that might have any understanding of being… So different. My mom was talking about you and I asked if you might be able to talk to me or... Or listen or… I don’t know. She said she didn’t know, but… I could ask.”
Jia looked up, her face twisted in a bit of a grimace. “I know you don’t know me and I’m just a kid, but… I wanted to see if we could talk after dinner? Um… About stuff. Your growing up or… Or what advice you might have?”
Jin smiled softly. “Jia, I was there the day you were born. I don’t know how often I helped feed or change you when your Mom was at her wit’s end. I’m not around much, but you’re not a stranger to me, I care about you. I’d be glad to talk with you, whenever you want, okay?”
Jia seemed to relax completely, meeting Jin’s gaze. Her eyes were bright and intelligent, identical to her mother’s. She opened her mouth but hesitated once more and closed it. “I um… I think the next time I see my doctor… We’re gonna have to have the talk.”
“The talk?”
Jia nodded. “It’s been easy so far to just kinda… Be me. But as I’ve gotten older…”
“Ah. Puberty.”
Jia nodded. “My doctor and my parents always said it like it was some far-off thing, someday when I’m older, when puberty starts, we’ll discuss hormones, to… Help. As if it’d ever be a question of me wanting them, I always have.”
Jin nodded patiently, listening to her talk. She fiddled with the hem of her shirt. “I think… I mean, I—I know… That it’s starting.”
“Puberty?”
Jia nodded again. “Yeah. They don’t talk about it much in school, but I’m always lumped in with the stupid boys. They’re always going on about…” She wrinkled her nose dramatically and Jin chuckled.
“I get it – I remember how boys were at that age.”
Jia laughed a little, relaxing more as she spoke. “So I mean, I knew what to look for and what would happen, so… It’s started, I’m sure… Just this past month. And I have a checkup next month, so… I think it’ll be time.”
“Have you told your parents?”
Jia grimaced. “The idea of telling my Mom and Dad that I started having… Those dreams is… Horrifying.”
Jin laughed, nodding. “Okay, valid point. I think I might balk at that too. So you know you want to start the hormones then?”
“Definitely. I can’t imagine my voice getting deeper or… Hair or…” She paused. “No offense.”
“None taken. Women are absolutely amazing humans, I admire them greatly, even if I’m not interested in them. And men are gross as hell. Cute, but gross.” They both chuckled at that, and Jin sighed softly. “Your Dad told me about you, how you’ve managed, how it’s your choice when to come out, what to do. I think he’s doing the right thing. You know your body best. Personally, I can’t imagine going through what you are right now. I’ve got friends who’re transitioning, and their stories are just awe inspiring.”
“There’s more people like me in the city?” Jia pressed, perking up a little. “Like… Girls?”
Jin nodded. “Yeah, I have two girl friends who are trans, and one guy friend who is. A couple that aren’t boy or girl, just themselves.”
“Are they pretty?”
Jin smiled. “Stunning. One started hormones after puberty, so she’s a little more androgynous. The other started… About your age, if I recall. She’s gorgeous. Always has the men flirting with her.”
Jia grimaced again, and Jin chuckled. “Right, boys are icky,” he teased. “Actually, hold on, I think…” He pulled out his phone and opened his photos, flipping through them. “Here, I knew I had a picture.”
He passed the phone to Jia. It was from a year prior, of himself and his friends, Jungkook and his boyfriend Namjoon, as well as Yechan and their girlfriend Yubin.
“Wait, one of these people is… Like me?” Jia asked, looking up at Jin quickly. He nodded. He pointed to Yubin. “Her. She’s the one that start transitioning early in life. This is her partner, one of my nonbinary friends,” he pointed to Yechan, “and this is Jungkookie. He’s another of my trans friends.”
“He’s… A transguy? But … You can’t tell. I’ve always heard it’s…” She shrugged. “Obvious.”
Jin shook his head. “Where’d you hear that?”
“I’ve heard kids in school talk,” she admitted, handing his phone back. “They’re so mean about it, even though they don’t understand.”
“Kids can be. But they’re wrong. If you want to live a life without anyone knowing, it’s possible. It might take some time and work. Yubin’s had quite a few surgeries to make her body just right, but it’s entirely doable.”
Jia smiled. “I’d like to meet her. And your other friends.”
“Maybe you will someday,” Jin said.
Jia sat silently next to him a moment. Jin relaxed, letting her take her time. It was clear she wanted to say more, but likely hadn’t discussed this with many outside of her own family.
“How mean were they?” She finally asked softly. “When you came out. My Mom and Dad have mentioned it... Vaguely but… Honestly?”
“Your Dad’s gonna strangle me if I scare you,” he said. Jia chuckled.
“I know it’s bad. Dad always looks like he’s about to cry when I press… So I know it must be awful.”
Jin sighed. “It was. It was…” He shook his head. “They would have killed me if I’d stayed, honestly,” he said softly. “Not everyone but… Well, this is your town too, you know how people are.”
She nodded, a sadness filling her face.
“But,” Jin reached over and set a hand on her shoulder. “It was also a decade ago. I know things have changed, even just a little, here. And I came out when I was nearly grown up, there was no adjustment period, I just… Blurted it out. And I didn’t have a ton of family support. My Mom tried. But my Dad was… Is… Awful. I had your family, and that was it. You, on the other hand, hopefully, will have more support. Not everyone in your school is backwards, I’m sure of it.”
Jia shook her head. “No, there’s a couple of kids who I think… They’re like us. You know, different. Not transgender but… I think one girl I know might be interested in girls too. And a boy I hang out with… He’s told me he wants to marry a boy.”
Jin nodded. “So, see? There’s some support. I’m not saying it’ll be easy, I’m not encouraging you to come out – that’s your own decision, but I don’t want you to base your choice entirely on my story. Because it’s very different. And I mean… I came out as gay. It’s easy to ignore the fact that I like boys until I’m kissing one. Coming out as transgender is very different.”
“It’s harder to ignore.”
“It shouldn’t be ignored. You should be allowed to grow up as the woman you are.”
Jia’s eyes shined a little at that, and Jin smiled softly. “By the way, did you do your own makeup?” He asked.
“Mom helped.”
“It’s stunning. You look just like some of the teen idols at my company.”
Jia’s entire face brightened then. “Really?”
Jin nodded.
“Dad said you worked with music and idols. I wanted to know more but he didn’t know.”
“My job isn’t nearly as fun as it sounds. I mostly pay bills.” He rolled his eyes dramatically. “Sit at a desk, the boring stuff.”
She giggled, pulling her legs up and resting her chin on her knees. “Have you ever met famous people?”
“Yeah, some. We all sort of work in the same building, and the practice studios are under where I work so, I run into them time to time, or when we have a group that has a bigger part in their music video production, I sit down, discuss budget, that sort of thing.”
“Who do you know?”
Jin shrugged. “Quite a few, I don’t know how many you’d know.”
“What company?”
Jin said it, and Jia’s eyes brightened visibly. “Have you ever met Solbi?”
Jin laughed. “Oh yeah. Jian and I are good friends.”
Jia nodded quickly. “I borrowed my name from hers. When my parents said I could pick one. I think she’s so beautiful and talented and brave. I know she doesn’t do much music anymore, but I love her art too. She’s my biggest inspiration.”
“She’s a good role model,” Jin agreed. He chuckled. “Actually, how we became friends is pretty funny.”
“How?” Jia asked, leaning forward a little.
“If I tell you this, you can’t tell anyone, okay? Jian would have my head if she heard me telling her secrets.”
“Promise.”
Jin nodded. “We had a holiday party a few years back, shortly after I started at the company. A lot of the singers, actors, and of course company people like me. Ends up they made the punch a little too strong. We were all a little tipsy,” he lowered his voice and mumbled dramatically, making Jia laugh. “So Jian and I were talking and she decided she wanted to dance. Now, gay or not, I won’t turn down a dance with a pretty singer.”
Jia laughed and nodded.
“So we’re dancing and in the middle of the song, this award winning singer kisses me square on the mouth. I had never been so stunned in my life.”
Jia gasped and covered her mouth, giggling wildly. Jin laughed as well, her energy contagious.
“What did you do?” She asked.
“Well I kissed her back, what was I supposed to do?” He laughed. “No, I pushed her away after a second and politely let her know I was gay. She promptly then realized she’d had too much to drink and was about to be sick.” He chuckled. “Second time in my life I’ve been in a women’s restroom. And it was holding her hair back. After she sobered up she was pretty embarrassed, but I didn’t mind. No harm done. But she still bought me coffee the next day and we hit off.”
“Oh my God, you kissed her though,” Jia gasped. “What a dream.”
Jin chuckled. “Yeah, it’s one of those embarrassing moments we both laugh about but… Never want to repeat.”
Jia giggled again, shaking her head. “I can’t believe it. What about Minho? The actor. And singer… But I love his acting.”
Jin nodded. “Yeah, I know him. Less well, but my friend Jungkook – the boy I pointed out in the picture, they work out together. Jungkook is a trainer at the company.”
“Minho doesn’t mind that he’s trans?”
Jin shook his head. “No. There’s quite a few folks like us at my company actually. We’re not super loud about it, but we’re welcoming. Yechan works at the company too, they do backing vocals and some song writing. And Yubin is a stylist for a couple of our groups. Jungkook’s boyfriend is one of our producers. And then my best friend is dating one of the other artists.”
“Which one?”
“Uh… Agust D?”
Jia’s eyes widened. “My best friend loves him,” she whispered. “He’s got posters of him all over his room and has the biggest crush on him.”
Jin chuckled. “I’m sure Yoongi would be flattered.”
“I didn’t know he was dating someone.”
Jin nodded. “Yeah, he and my friend, Taehyung. They started dating a while back, they make a cute couple.”
He pulled his phone back out and found a photo of the three of them, showing it to her. She grinned brightly. “You have such a cool life in the city.”
Jin shrugged. “I enjoy it, mostly.”
“I can’t wait until I grow up... I’m gonna move out there and be a singer.”
“Your Dad mentioned you wanting to do that. It’s a tough business.”
She nodded. “I know. But I want to try. Even if I fail, at least I gave it a shot.”
Jin smiled softly. “That’s a mature mindset for a kid your age. Keep thinking like that and you’ll go far.”
Jia smiled softly.
“Hey guys,” Daeun stuck her head in. “Dinner’s on the table if you wanna join?”
Jin nodded. He rose with Jia, heading into the kitchen. She grabbed his wrist before they entered fully, stopping him. “Thank you,” she said when Jin looked at her.
“For what?”
“Talking to me… Making me feel heard, I guess… It’s nice to have it from someone besides my family.” She leaned up and hugging Jin tightly. His brows shot up, a little surprised for a moment. He returned the hug though, patting her back.
She released him and smiled awkwardly, rushing into the kitchen fully. Jin followed, catching Jinki’s eye. From where he was sitting, he’d been able to see the hug. He cocked a brow. Jin shrugged and smiled, taking a seat next to his mother.
Dinner was comfortable and easygoing. The two families talked freely about a variety of things. Jin noticed his father avoiding much discussion with both himself and Jia, but his lack of discussion was barely noticed, as Jihae eagerly included Jia in conversations.
As their plates emptied, Jinki glanced at Jin. “Did you want to…” He mumbled softly, just loud enough for Jin to hear. Jin nodded. “Dessert,” he whispered back.
Daeun and Jin cleared the main course and brought out the variety of dessert dishes, helping to serve everyone. As they ate, Jin wiped his mouth and cleared his throat. “Hey, Jia.”
She looked up from her plate, which happened to be overflowing with nearly ever dessert on the table.
“Your Mom and Dad mentioned my job, right? We talked about it.”
She nodded.
“And they also mentioned that… Camp. In the city.”
Jia nodded again. She pouted a little. “I love the idea,” she said, setting her fork down. “But I know that there’s really nobody in the city and… It’s expensive. They already pay for my dance classes here.”
“It is,” Jin agreed. “You know, it’s my company that hosts that camp.”
“Yeah?”
Jin nodded. “And because it’s my company… There’s certain… Luxuries that I get, as an employee. One of them is the ability to enroll a student in it. I don’t have kids, for obvious reasons.”
Jia giggled and Jihae chuckled. Jin smiled. “So, I’ve never had much to do with it. But it seems like I found a kid that benefit from an employee sponsorship, if she wanted.”
Jia blinked in surprise. She looked around the table and back at Jin when nobody spoke. “Me?” She asked softly.
Jin nodded. “Yeah, you.” He chuckled.
“But it’s… It’s in the city, who would I stay with? Mom and Dad can’t be away that long, and they could never afford to stay, even if my camp was paid for.”
“During the week you’d stay in a dorm with the other students. On the weekends, I have a spare bedroom in my apartment.” Jin said. “It’s not huge, and you’d be stuck with me, which probably isn’t much fun – I admit I don’t know many families with kids. But, it’d be a place to sleep and someone to take you around the city, and someone to be there if something happened at the camp.”
Jia remained silent, an unreadable expression on her face. Finally, she spoke. “I… I want to. The idea of it… But…” She glanced at Jin’s Mom and Dad before speaking softly. “My body. I mean… When they put me in camp here, I… Was with the boys.”
“You’d be enrolled as a girl,” Jin said. “We have a number of kids who aren’t on the traditional gender spectrum who do the camp every year. There’s no discrimination. You’d bunk with the other girls in your age group, and do their lessons. Choreography training, vocals, rap, anything you’re interested in. When we signed you up I’d have to notify the main head of the program, because the only difference in your time and the other girls would be showering, you’d be given an individual shower, for your own comfort. I heard that sometimes they have a group of trans kids, and if that’s the case that group will shower together, but it’s not guaranteed.”
“So I’d be… Treated normal?” She whispered. “Just like a normal girl?”
Jin nodded. “Yeah, pretty much.”
A soft smile crossed Jia’s face. She looked at her Mom and Dad, who were watching carefully. “Are you… I mean, I’d be in the city for a long time, without you…”
“We trust Jin,” Jinki said. “He was my best friend in school, and he’s a good man. If he’s willing to put up with a preteen girl for a month, we have no problems with it.”
“You’d let me go?” She asked again.
“If you want,” Daeun said. “I think it’s a great idea. You’ve got so much talent, and you’re forced to hide it because of how gendered the dance studio is here. This would be a way to see what you can really do.”
“And,” Jin said. “If you do like it, if it’s really your passion, this camp is a foot in the door for a lot of places. It gives you a look at what training might be like, how it might feel, how you respond. And you get to meet a lot of people who have done it already.”
“You’d really let me live with you for a month?” She asked. “You’re… I mean you’re young and in the photos we were looking at, you have friends and go out… I’d be impeding…”
“Not even a little,” Jin admitted. “I go out, but it’s because it’s expected. I’m perfectly happy sitting at home and playing video games or reading a book. Having you around for a month wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.”
Jia smiled brighter. She lowered her head, trying to hide it.
“Jia?” Daeun asked. “You okay? You don’t need to decide now, it’s not for a while—”
“I want to,” Jia said quickly. She looked up, having given up hiding her smile, which was blinding, nearly showing every tooth in her mouth. “I want to go—I’d do anything.”
“The only thing you have to do is make sure you do well in school the rest of the year,” Jinki said. “Get that Biology grade up a little.”
She nodded. “I can do that.”
“That’s my only stipulation at least.” He shrugged. Daeun smiled softly. “We’d talked about it before, when Jin first offered. But we wanted to make sure you felt comfortable with him. Based on the chatter we heard in there, I’m guessing so.”
Jia nodded, meeting Jin’s eyes. “Yeah. Yeah, I do… Thank you,” she said softly.
“I’m glad to do it,” Jin said. “I’ll keep in contact with your parents over the year, when it gets closer we’ll start making more definite plans.”
She nodded eagerly before going back to her dessert.
Jihae nudged Jin. “You never told me this.”
“I didn’t wanna say anything until I knew for sure it was a yes, they were thinking on it.”
“A teenager for a month, big responsibility, Seokjin.”
Jin grinned. “I’m sure I’ll be calling you regularly for advice,” he teased.
“You’re a good boy,” she said, patting his hand. “But you know, if you do this. You’ll need to bring her up and back. Means I get to see you more often.”
Jin’s grin widened. “Another benefit then, isn’t it?”
Dinner wound down and the seven made their way into the sitting room, chatting and laughing for a few more hours, until Jihae stifled the third yawn in a row. “I am afraid, that I have to end the party,” she said.
The group chuckled. “You have to be up early anyways,” Daeun said. “You’re doing the main work for the tree lighting tomorrow.”
“Jin’s helping quite a bit with that.”
“We’ll see you there then?” Jia asked.
Jin nodded. “Yeah, I’ll be helping out before and I’ll be there that night. I’m leaving this upcoming week.”
Jin and his parents rose, saying their goodbyes to each of the Lee family. Jia came forward, wrapping her arms around Jin’s middle in another crushing hug. “Thank you so much,” she whispered.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Jin said, hugging back.
“I do… For talking to me. And for doing this this summer… It’s a lot, I know. But it means a lot to me.”
“I’m happy to be able to do something,” Jin said. Jia let him go and he set his hand on her shoulder. “Keep your grades up, okay?”
“I’ll get to meet your friends? When I’m there?”
“I’ll make sure of it.”
She nodded. She still looked a little unsure, so Jin squeezed her shoulder gently. “Your Dad has my phone number now. I don’t know if you have a cell that texts—”
“I do, I just don’t use it much because the service is bad out here. But it works in town. I have it in case my practices finish early so they can get me.”
“Well, have your Dad give you my number.” He looked at Jinki who nodded in agreement. “If something comes up, just text me, okay? I might not be able to answer right away if I’m working, but I’ll respond as soon as I can. Like I said, I can’t speak for you, your situation, but I’m always happy to listen and try to help if I can, or if you want, okay?”
Jia’s shoulders seemed to relax a little and she nodded again. She hugged him once more before moving back into the sitting area. Jinki squeezed Jin’s shoulder. “I wish you’d come around earlier, man.”
“Me too,” Jin said. “But I won’t disappear on you guys again.”
“You can’t now,” he said, smirking. “You’ve got a little girl who may or may not absolutely adore you.”
Jin chuckled and shook his head. Jinki grunted. “I mean it,” he said. “She’s sullen, quiet. She doesn’t open up to adults much. Obvious reasons, of course. She took a shine to you. I remember when she was a baby we used to call you Uncle Jin… I think it’s about time that you took that title back.”
Jin smiled softly. “Well, I’ll do my best. If you guys need anything, or want to come visit… Just let me know, okay?”
“We will. We’ll see you tomorrow at the tree lighting.”
Jin nodded. “See you.”
He headed outside with his parents and climbed into the car.
“You made quite an impression on her,” Jihae said as they drove back to their house.
“Jia?”
“Yes. She’s a good kid.”
“She’s gonna have a long road ahead, but she seems like a tough kid. They’ve done a good job raising her.”
“They have,” she agreed. “Who knows. Once you have Jia for the month you might realize you’re good with kids. Maybe I’ll have my grandkids after all.”
Jin chuckled. “Jia’s a lot different than an infant, Mom. And I kind of need to find a partner first.”
“Nonsense, lots of single parents adopt these days,” she argued. Jin huffed and shook his head.
“Well, don’t get your hopes up. Give me a few years and we’ll see.”
Jihae smiled back at him and nodded. “I’ll be patient.”

Note
I know, I'm very basic, but when I read about a shy girl, I love her! I just hope Daeun won't suffer </3 I'm so curious about her first time with Tae though, they're different on so many levels
I don't think it's basic. We love it too. I mean, Min-seo is pretty universally loved and has her shy side.
