They don’t choose, they’re born with it. Orline doesn't even like being a mother sometimes.

If you ever think about rehashing/revamping old OCs for your current projects, I think Fisfie would make a fine addition to being a child or Orline and an elder sister to Emory!

Is there a reason why lord orlene goes by lord and not lady?

Also, is Emory a type 1 child? If type 5 children (milk angels I think?) Look like huge birds with masks, what do the rest look like?

Lady, Lord, Mother, Queen, Goddess, she likes to go by all of them. Emory is a category 1 milk angel. The ones with the wings are category 2. Category 5 are the rarest ones since they’re nearly powerful enough for godhood & their gestation can take up to 11 years. I do plan on drawing a layout of Orline’s reproductive system & what all categories of her children look like.

In a previous piece Orline mentions a pregnancy-free year. Pardon me asking questions but I’m really obsessed with your ocs…

Can she only produce milk when pregnant/shortly after giving birth?

Would hormone supplements be able to help her keep producing so she doesn’t have to keep having babies if she doesn’t want to? Or does that not work because of her deity status? (Or perhaps it’s implausible because of her size?)

Being a literal goddess of milk, no. Orline can lactate even without pregnancy. But it’s not enough for an entire colony which doesn’t earn her enough money. Since most women aren’t built for war & not all of Orline’s children want to fight, she invents high technology/steam powered machines to fight instead (like the iron virgins from ER). But she needs a lot of taxes to do so. Orline could use natural hormone supplements but when she’s pregnant she produces enough milk for the entire world. & thank you so much! I’m happy to make you feel that way with my art! 💙
