proseka isn't actually the first vocaloid gacha game; mikucolle was also one. so it isn't new for vocaloid-associated things to have gacha mechanics unfortunately. (feel free to delete this if you knew or don't want to respond, i just wasn't sure if you were aware of this.)

i never claimed it was the first, it's just on a much larger scale than mikucolle ever was and pretty much impossible to avoid as a vocaloid fan. (the pj/sk fandom isn't doing itself any favors for making me hate it less either. mikucolle didn't have that same energy or even close) that being said i'm also not a fan of mikucolle would would prefer gacha mechanics to not be involved with vocaloid at all, it's just not uh... relevant anymore really since it shut down LOL (lighthearted)
