Summary:

Mike Danwood is a Soul Medic, a medical professional in a fantasy world specializing in matters of the soul. He spends his days projecting a piece of his soul into the souls of his patients so he can heal them of various ailments ranging from demonic possession to psychosis as well as many others. In the first story of the series, his patient is Amelia Bennet, a 17-year-old girl who is plagued by a stage five demonic possession. He must enter her soul and find the root of the possession and remove it. Along the way he will encounter figments of the girl's subconscious which will either aid or hinder him in his quest. Ultimately how will Mike remove the demon possessing Amelia? Will he be able to do so without damaging his own soul in the process?

In the second story of the series, he treats a man who has been attacked by a soul sucker. After having been bitten by the creature a few times he's devolved into psychosis and needs emergency intervention. When Mike steps foot into the man's subconscious everything is on fire, how will Mike put the fires out? How will he heal this man's soul from his bite wounds?
