NewsJReview (NJR) President Obama gave his farewell address to the American people last night, January 10, 2017.  He returned to Chicago to do so, where his political career began. By now everyone knows the story, his story, a story which he often said could only have happened in America. NO drama Obama delivered a speech, which left few eyes dry in the audience there, or wherever seen around the world...a consequential President, who did so many good things; first and foremost he set to save  our economic system from cratering, without bluster and in many cases without support of those shocked by his very presence...the first African American President. What an example... He’d be the first to say his Presidency was not perfect, but it was great...he leaves with a foundation to build on, not to dig out from under...facts are one thing, slogans are another. Thank you President Obama for finding that way out of no way and making the mark high for what true success looks like, and before the revisionists do what they do. Thank you and the First Lady Michelle Obama...and your entire administration for doing the impossible; against all odds leading by example, leading well and leading with distinction. It’s a good thing to Hope!

Then it was Vice President Biden's turn to speak from the heart, but what the VP didn't know  he was about to have yet another rare-earth experience that only three others in history can claim. President Obama calls his distinguish Vice President, "brother."  Chris Mathews in his closing commentary said of the Irishman, Vice President Biden became the "apostrophe" in O'bama. President Obama made the best decision when he selected  him as Vice President. Biden made the best decision when he accepted.
