when we were 14, this ludicrous tv series started on bbc called Rentaghost, in which Mr Mumford, a recently dead ghost, starts a business renting ghosts out to humans to help with difficult situations - anyway we mainly watched it for the poltergeist character, Timothy Claypole, an absolutely queer ghost minstrel who we as a closet queer trans teen loved with a fiery passion

he was played by Michael Staniforth, a gay actor who died of aids in 1987, breaking our heart when he did - anyway look at this absolute sweetheart in the first ep in 1976

Favorite Actor(s): Michael Staniforth, Micahel Ebborall, Hans Johansson, Jeremy Kocal, Oliver Rhoe Thornton

Favorite Song/Scenes: What scene of his don't I love. He's so cute in Freight I love seeing him interact with the others. There's Me is SO IMPORTANT as a moment for both him and Dinah. And then of course Wide Smile, High Style is one of the best songs in the entire show go white boy go.

Favorite Costume(s): 80s-90s toy soldier Caboose goes SO HARD and they got the proportions so good. Early London CB also has a huge place in my heart. The headphones, the radio belt, the silver pants........ banger.

Favorite Ships/Friendships: Fav ship is ofc Electraboose those freaks are made for each other. His bestest friend ever is Dinah and he's also close with Dustin and the freight in general!! I love the freight being a little family :)

Headcanons: CB was genuinely trying to help Electra win the race. He was originally helping Greaseball but decided to turn against him out of defensiveness of Dinah. The big crash was an accident as Rusty pulled into the lead and Greaseball got more aggressive.

Unpopular Opinion: If they ever bring CB back I don't want them to bring back toy soldier CB (as much as I adore him). I want them to bring back grimy little trucker CB. For fun.

Headcanons?

Pre-2018 Caboose: I believe Dinah and Dustin are his closest friends! He often defends Dustin, and I think one reason CB turned against Greaseball was due to how he treated Dinah.

Post 2018 Caboose: Pre-2018 Caboose is his brother. Although they faced challenges in their relationship during childhood, they managed to mend their bond as adults.

Unpopular Opinion?

Both are just as good as each other. I love them both so much and I can't choose a favourite!

Does anyone remember draw your squad memes? Anyway, I'm cramming all three of these guys below the cut.

OLC! Caboose

Love this funky guy!

Favorite Songs/Moments: C.B. is hands down the funkiest song on the OLC! Album and Michael Staniforth was absolutely incredible!! I also love his verses in Freight, especially the way he says 'Hello!' He sounds like such a goober!

Favorite Costume: I think there's just the one, but I love it! You go Mr. Baseball-Playing-Trucker-Man!

Favorite Ships: I don't actively ship him with anyone but I don't mind OLC! Electraboose

Unpopular opinions: I don't think I have any

He's just a silly fun-time boy!

Favorite Songs/Moments: Wide Smile, the handshake bit with Electra during Wide Smile, taunting Rusty. There's one boot where he kicks Rusty in the face after crashing him and I don't know why but it's actually so funny (poor Rusty though!) Can we also get some appreciation for Todd Lester's splits! And Hans Johansson's dancing/acrobatics!

Favorite Costume: It's stayed pretty consistent, but why change it when it's already perfect!

Favorite Ships: I don't ship him with anyone, I actually hc him as aromantic (though I am partial to Idiot Sandwich purely for shits and giggles)

Unpopular opinions: I don't like the version of Wide Smile with the pop culture references at the beginning, it just kinda breaks my immersion
