This is all based on a dream I had that woke me up coughing my lungs out (not related to the dream, I've just been sick the past few days)

Hawks quirk (from mha if it wasn’t clear) being Robyn's quirk

Her apartment is in the sky (like actually I'm not even joking, it's just hanging there by pure magic) and right across from the lecture hall she takes notes from with her super vision (part of the quirk ig)

Steve becomes her roommate

Before she meets steve she's known nancy for a while now

Nancy think steve might not know Robyn's a lesbian but Robyn let's her know that "no yeha I told him everything we've been talking about this hot girl that literally everyone in town knows and how her nose is so perfect and how she's so graceful and-"

"Yes Robyn I get the point" Nancy says.

Steve up until this point just thought they were making conversation and was getting to know his potential date. His world view comes crashing down after only hearing Robyn's side of the conversation with Nancy on the phone.

Steve has a mental quirk so it doesn't outwardly show that much except for the little details around his body. Robyn doesn't know what the quirk is (neither do i honestly) and doesn’t remember to ask. Steve appreciates this and is large bonus to having Robyn as his roommate/friend(?).

Most people don't like going to Robyn's apartment because you need to activate your quirk to get there and you need to be synced up with her security feed, which takes a lot of patience and time to do. Steve feels conflicted about hearing this. On one hand it's good because that guarantees almost no one will be able to get to him here but he has to use his quirk everytime he wants to go home.

Now the rest of the Hawkins gang have all been synced up to the security monitor just in case, except for the quirkless and mutation type quirks but they still have a system for that. Almost everyone asks Robyn once in a while if she can just fly them there instead of them activating probably dangerous or embarrassing or not easily accessible quirks. No one else except robyn in the Hawkins gang has a transmutation quirk until Eddie comes along with bat wings on his back at all times. Robyn are the same in that sense, that they can both fly but Eddie can't exactly fly over large bodies of water and he's not as fast as her. No one is as fast as Robyn everyone in the party has agreed.

Robyn knows what she's capable of. She knows she could easily cheat during tests or quizzes at her university without getting caught but she just. Doesn't want to. She wants to prove to herself that she can accomplish something without resorting to taking the easy way out. If she has to bomb 3/4 of tests she takes than so be it as long as she doesn't get thrown put of the university she doesn't care. She'll work double shifts if it means getting to prove that she can do things herself. (This might or might not lead to her slowly neglecting herself and her needs, needing someone to make her understand spreading herself so thin she can barely hold her wings up in the sky is not proving anything to anyone, especially herself(Steve says all this yall, maybe less eloquently but the point gets across)). Maybe this all started from a young age when her parents expected a lot from her, expected her to solve all their problems for them (maybe financial? Idk) and it just made her more convinced to not do anything for themn, but for herself. And although, at the time, this kind of thinking was healthy, it was not sustainable in the long run after separating herself from them in the future.

Oh uhhh heros and villains don't exist, quirks and criminals exist. There is technology created that stuns a persons quirk factor and makes them immobile (paralyzed) temporarily. This technology was used on Steve as a child to make him more "docile".

I like to give as much angst to characters that I think would look hot being pathetic wet dogs-

Robyn and Nancy end up together obvi (if you didn't catch it up there, Nancy was a little jealous of Robyn talking about someone she might be interested in like that that isn't her (that was literally her who Robyn described but whatever)).

And literally anyone else you want to ship I'm a big elmax or elumax supporter and Dustin being steddie's kid basically

Also why the fuck is nobody talking about the sass potential with Dustin and Erica friendship?? They're like copy paste stobyn but with a different font that makes them roast everyone else instead of each other

Anyway don't take any of this too seriously it only took like 30 minutes (that's a lot fo time holy shit 💀😭😭 I'm a slow writer) and no brain power because, again, I just woke up with a coughing fit that probably made me lose a lung. I should probably check on that.

Bad Bad Bad

Overwhelming pain and darkness was what greeted Yaysu Endo as the hero woke from their sleep. The pro-hero felt ropes hugging around their chest and arms, their hands and feet firmly tied up. The darkness kept Yaysu swallowed up and caged, unable to see anything that could assist them. A sudden wave of pain washed over Yaysu - all of them. Every centimeter of their body tensed up with agonizing pain. They even let out a scream. When the wave was over, they slumped against the floor on their side, twitching here and there.

“Good morning, Redlight.” A smooth voice called from somewhere in the darkness. The hero felt scared, but none of that showed on their dazed face. The voice chuckled a bit. “Oh, why the long face?”

Yaysu glared with all the fury they could manage. Another wave of pain made them scream once more, twisting and contorting, trying to make it stop. It was so quick, yet it always felt like it lasted for eternity. 

“Tsk tsk tsk…” The voice said. Yaysu imagined them smiling. “I really don’t like those nasty looks being tossed my way. Good way to get a bone or two broke.”

The hero didn’t reply, feeling their eyes go heavy. Another painful wave occurred.

“We must keep you awake, dear, can’t have the nanobites shock your systems completely.” Another wave. “How else will you be able to call for help from your Devil?”

Silence. Yaysu felt the most pain in their chest as continuous pain greeted them. They shook violently now, like a seizure. When the pain was shut off, a hand was set on the back of Yaysu’s head. Their head was lifted to meet someone they couldn’t see. Then, they were dropped and their nose took the impact. Yaysu felt blood start to fall down their face. The voice only laughed at their misfortune.

“Let’s give your Devil a call, why don’t we?” 

A large screen suddenly lit up, probably an entire wall was just the screen. It buzzed to life - first just as static, then camera footage appeared. It was footage inside someone’s bedroom. Someone was lying on the floor, a shattered teacup by their hand. The image was black and white, yet Yaysu stared, and their face gave them away. Recognition. 

“Mizu…” They whispered.

“I poisoned the Devil.” The voice cackled madly. 

Yaysu managed to sit up, ripping up their exposed wrists trying to tear the ropes off. The owner of the voice grabbed the ropes and threw them back onto the floor, as if they were a mere dog and not a pro hero. Laughing at their misfortune, Yaysu could finally see - at least the silhouette - of the person responsible. Their eyes widened a bit, adjusting to see in the dark and new light, recognizing the person instantly.

A smile graced the twisted lips of Shade Chaos. The villain had been everywhere as of late. The recent subway bombing incident was organized by him, as were the several bank robberies, even a small mugging was a practical commission from him. He’s most recognized by his simplistic, skull shaped mask with the crown attached on the left tilt. But here he was, without his mask, wearing his typical black trenchcoat with the white cuffs. His eyes were narrow, and the red irises were snake-like.and cruel. He was a pale man, with dark birthmarks around his mouth and eyes - splattered like paint splotches.

“You…” Yaysu couldn’t comprehend words. Their eyes focused on Shade Chaos’s raised hand, more importantly, what was in it. A button, shiny and red and slightly glowing in the dark. He pressed and held it. Yaysu cried out in pain that wouldn’t stop. Shade Chaos started pressing the button, over and over again, demonstrating his power over their pain. 

His smile grew wider. “Your quirk can be seen as useless.”

Yaysu writhed on the floor, struggling once more. Why was he talking about their quirk? Villains like serviceable quirks, offensive quirks, their quirk was anything but. 

“Redlight. Quirk: Stoplight - you’re not quite creative with names, hm?” Yaysu managed to untuck a knot. “The wielder of Stoplight has big red circles on their palms and the pads of their feet, yes? If the wielder has them glow, they glow like a flashlight, but fancier, yes?”

Shade Chaos slammed Yaysu’s shoulder into the floor when they didn’t answer. They merely nodded when the question was repeated.

“And whatever, or whoever, is in this light… they cannot move, ever… yes?”

Another nod.

“Mhmhm… perfect.” Shade Chaos knelt down to Yaysu, just as the hero managed to slip another knot. Yaysu glared at Shade Chaos, subtly letting the rope fall loose off their hands. “Now, say, Redlight, that someone offered you a little deal. Something you can’t refuse, dear-”

Yaysu, quickly, brought up their foot and kicked Shade Chaos away. The hero scrambled to their feet, trying to activate their quirk - but wobbling with hazy vision made their aim lackluster. Shade Chaos managed to punch Yaysu in their jaw before the hero managed to trap him. Yaysu ended up back on the floor, sitting up to see the villain stuck in their light by the arm. 

The hero took time to collect themselves, to take a step back and breathe.  Their nose stopped bleeding, and the feeling of being sore invaded them instead. Yaysu could almost hear their heart beating as their breaths, shakingly, left their body and reentered just as bitterly. Yaysu saw the button far away from themself or the villain... then the hero looked at the screen, at Devil, once more. Their red eyes were followed by Shade Chaos’s own.

“You know,” Honey soaked and dripped from Shade Chaos’s words. “I called for support. I called the agency and that agency called me a prankster, a joker, some random kid looking to make the place look like fools… I don’t like talking, I truly don’t - Heaven knows you’re rare to talk too. Any other hero would’ve engaged with a battle of quips.”

Yaysu continued to stare at the screen. Annoyed, Shade Chaos continued: “I have a proposal for you, Redlight.”

Silently, the hero tore their eyes away to look at the villain.

“If I, perhaps, had a means to bring our little friend back… what would you do to gain that ability?”

Yaysu glared. “No.”

“That- what? That, dear, doesn’t make sense.”

“No.”

“Now you’re doing this to spite me.”

Yaysu shook their head, themselves annoyed. 

“Now, dear, answer my question properly.” Yaysu nearly choked up with laughter. They compared the villain to a scorning father, frustrated with their child. Perhaps, Yaysu will admit, looking back at this moment, he was. “If I found a way to cure the poison… what would you do for it?”

“The Devil is dead.”

“Comatose.”

“How-” Yaysu paused. “You need my quirk…?”

“And you need the Devil alive.”

Yaysu looked towards the screen once more. The odds weren’t in their favor. On one hand, they could deny. But, if they denied, would the Devil be permanently asleep? Would he be killed? And if they agreed… who was going to get hurt? 

“Tik tok.” Shade Chaos said. “Tik. Tok.”

Yaysu scrunched up their face, pained. They sucked in a breath. It would just be a little while, the villain couldn’t possibly need their quirk for long… right?

“Drop the light.”

Yaysu switched off their quirk. Shade Chaos stumbled, but collected himself elegantly - or as elegantly as possible. 

“Good.” The villain said. “We have work to do.”

You and the League of Villains meet someone with a quirk that can show people alternate life paths if things had turned out differently.

Everyone’s a little “ehhh idk” about trying it, so Shigaraki, being the leader, is willing to go first.

He sees himself growing up, getting away from his abusive household, and leading a normal life.

Shigaraki is like, this is pretty mundane.

Until he starts seeing images of himself with someone else— you. He sees you kiss him and he’s in complete disbelief.

The images fade away and he’s already demanding another go, “Show me another path.”

In the next one he has the decay quirk, but he’s a rescue hero. He works alongside another hero— you, again. He sees you holding his hand and he’s still in disbelief.

“Okay, that’s enough.”

Afterwards, Shigaraki knows that everything he saw is unattainable—

His eyes drift over to you and he keeps replaying the intimate moments in his head.

Except you.

"i'm jealous"

you casually drop a bomb on touya, who was currently in the kitchen eating piping hot udon.

touya's eyes widens, ultimately choking on his food. like you just didn't witness him knocking on death's door, you casually slid to the seat next to him, watching him just choke there

"being jealous is one thing, but not helping your poor boyfriend who's choking? that's a little overkill don't you think?!" touya exclaims, after regaining his own composure

instead of answering, you shrug, staring at the now pouting boy beside you

"i'm not a mind reader you know?" touya points out, catching your gaze. it's making him a little uncomfortable being put on the spot like this. last time he checked, he didn't even look at another girls direction! so what could have made you jealous?

"..."

the way you were just staring at him in silence is making him uneasy. it's almost like you were making him admit to something he didn't even do

touya racks his brain for any close encounter he had with any female today during class. maybe he accidentally brushed hands with a classmate earlier today, maybe he bumped shoulders with a third year student back at lunch rush, maybe he made eye contact with another girl for a split second on accident when he was scanning the hallways for you

his mind ends up dating back at lunch where you two were having lunch with your two other friends being keigo and rumi

wait a second.. could it be rumi?

"is it rumi? but i thought you two were best friends so you were cool with us messing around with chicken little back there at the cafeteria? if it is rumi then i'll try not to interact with her that much if it makes you jealous, i'm sorry, doll. forgive me" touya rambles, suddenly getting on his knees and bowing down to (almost) kiss your feet

your eyebrows shot up at the mention of your best friend

"what are you rambling about? of course not! i'm not jealous over her, dummy" you finally break your silence. "i'm talking about your eyelashes"

touya's eyes widened once again. he slowly rises from your feet to shoot you a dirty look. did you really just make him kneel and kiss your feet over the thought of you being jealous over someone else when you were just jealous of his eyelashes all along?

"run that by me one more time?" touya puts his hands on his hips

you let out a fit of giggles watching his now irritated face.

"i'm jealous of your long eyelashes, touya" you grin, standing up to reach his face, cupping his cheeks as you run your thumb against his eyes

touya's eyes flutters shut, letting you touch his face this up close and personal. he won't admit it out loud but it tickles when your thumbs run through his long lower lashes

but the way his face scrunches says otherwise

"it tickles, doesn't it?" you giggle

"no? who said that?" touya denies, turning his head away to hide the impending blush that's rapidly spreading across his cheek

you can feel the cuteness aggression rushing in. you turn his head to force him to look at you. you squeeze his cheeks as you lean in until..

"if you're gonna suck faces could you guys at least do it in the privacy of your dorm rooms? ever heard of that?" keigo casually walks in with rumi on tow

"yuck" rumi gags, skipping past the two of you to get a carrot from the fridge

"i suggest you two get the fuck out of here unless you want roasted chicken and rabbit for dinner" touya growls, (softly) prying your hands off his face as he glares at his two best friends who were now running away while laughing

"so, doll.. where were we?" touya smiles softly, acting like he didn't just threaten his friends just a second ago

Everyday, without fail, your husband would come home from another tiresome day at work, take the quickest shower known to man, and lay himself down ontop of your smaller figure.

He loved wrapping his beefy arms around your slim waist and rest his cheek limp against you to feel the calm rise and fall of your chest. He loved when you ran your gentle fingers through his hair, lulling him into a nap. He loved your warm, soft voice asking him about his day, and telling him how much you missed him, how you're glad he's bad home safe.

Sure, he was an absolute giant compared to you, easily towering over you, with your head not even meeting his shoulder. And yet he had never once heard you even mutter a complaint or even attempt to shove him off you.

And he appreciated it, your total willingness to endure his heavy weight ontop of your small body. He was never too good at expressing his feeling for you vocally, but he always displayed his affections for you, like it came to him naturally.

Being surround by your calming scent, your beautiful voice, and loving touch, it was all enough to put him into a deep, comfortable sleep.

And the next morning, he would wake up with his own drool dried onto the corners of his mouth, with your arms enclosing him in a hug.

My Hero Academia AU: Road Trip

An Ambush Simulation Prequel

I am a little ashamed that this one was in progress for so long and I have only three pages to show for it, but I got so burned out with it that I just thought, "Damn, I'm done." So sadly I'm wrapping up Road Trip as a slice-of-life brief.

I bit off a little more than I could chew and found out I have zero interest in drawing vehicles the hard way. Still, I'm happy with how Shimura's motorcycle turned out.
