I was able to get Pigment’s colour palet in a game that a play, altho I could have tried better for the colours but I made Pigment :3 (Ill do the other mewtwos and Mew when ill find the peurple color palet properly ;;Skull;;)

On the subject of favorite tropes, give me more resigned/unhappy characters who use “I guess I don’t have a choice” with HIDDEN RELIEF. The angsty loner who has been forcibly adopted by a smol child who loves him despite his efforts to push her away, and finally he gives in to being her guardian (dad) with “I guess I don’t have a choice.” The warrior who has resigned herself to being the person who will keep this hyperactive optimistic sunshine hero from getting himself killed because he insists on being friends with her and seeing the best in her. “I guess I don’t have a choice.”

But you can see so clearly, everyone can see so clearly, that while they think they don’t want or deserve this position, or maybe they are too proud to admit it to others or just to themselves, that “I guess I don’t have a choice” is just a way to maintain their stoic or cool guy or pessimistic identity they feel safe/comfortable in while AT THE SAME TIME giving in to something good their heart craves. Because they DO have a choice—they COULD be an utterly cold monster and break the other person’s heart. The only thing “forcing” them into this situation is love given and love recieved. It’s a begrudging admission of defeat to save face, but deep down, they want this.

It’s the opposite of a coersion trope, where someone is forced to do something they don’t want to their detriment. It’s a person taking a little, begrudging step towards love and their own healing. And I think that’s a little bit funny while also being so warm and good.

I have an announcement. (I know it's kind of long, just stay with me, please.)

I have been trying to become a fanfiction writer for many years. But something always held me back. At first I thought it was my mental illness. But over time I realized that whenever I pictured my stories, I would literally picture them visually. I have always been more focused on dialouge and visuals rather than all out prose. But the biggest problem I faced was that I simply could not draw.

Or so I thought.

I did go through a stage in my childhood where I obsessively drew Pokemon. And I thought they turned out really well at the time. I didn't trace the images, I just did my best to imitate the image as best as I could with my free hand, line by line. But later on in life I convinced myself that I wasn't truly drawing because I was essentially copying what was already in front of me. So I came to the conclusion that I cannot draw, and forgot about it.

Years later I find a wonderful little website called tumblr, and started following a few tumblrs of the Mew and Mewtwo comics community. I loved the stories, I loved the characters, and it just inspired me so much. I kept imagining my Pokemon OCs in comic form. What little shenigans would they get up too? And what if I coverted all of my other unwritten ideas as comics too? Suddenly I was flooded with ideas and I hadn't felt this way in years.

So one day I woke up and decided I needed to learn how to draw. So I started with a few pokemon. I did my practise drawings where I'd copy the lines, and then without looking at the image, I'd redraw it freehand from memory. And somehow, by some miracle, they turned out better that I ever imagined they would. I realized now that the "copying" stage was just me teaching myself how to draw.

So today, I wanted to celebrate the birth of a new Mew character that I hope will be welcome in the little community that inspired me so much.

Her name is Poppy. And she's an albino Mew. I don't know how her story is going to unfold, but I'm looking forward to finding out!
