Metamorphic: this rock is classified by grade. Low grade (like shale) means it was under a little pressure or only under pressure for a short time. High grade (like gneiss) was under a lot of pressure for a long time. When it's high grade the minerals can start to sort and rearrange themselves. High grade pressure can also take the minerals in its rock and make new gems out of it.
Break it
Melt it

I’ve handled a lot of Indiana river rock recently. These are a few I saved. I have a life long fascination with geology, Indiana has much to explore. The last two rocks give me comfort when I hold them. I don’t know why but I aim to find out!

Rocks are naturally occurring solid aggregates of minerals or mineraloids. They are classified into three main types based on their formation processes: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks.

i think about how log 11 is kaycee being sad she will never get to show off her mod and having daydreams about being praised and recognized for her work, but in the end her one and only witness to her pride and joy was leshy, and the memory of what she has done and contributed to the game died with him

Metamorphic: this rock is harder than the rock it was made from. When put under enough pressure metamorphic rocks can make new gems or structures.
Break it
Melt it
