Is it right that Richard didn't know he had a son until 2001?
Hi 👋🏻
I honestly don't have the sources to prove this as facts, but it is implied that Richard didn't know Merlin was his son until the boy was about 10 years old. I also heard that since this was during the era where Richard lived mainly in New York City, Till apparently took care of Merlin a bit. Again, I don't know to what extent this is true.
Merlin's mom, Tatjana Besson, was an active part of the DDR punk music scene (she played for example in 'Die Firma' together with Richard), as well as worked as an IM (informeller Mitarbeiter, meaning an unofficial informant/collaborator) for the Ministry of State Security ('Stasi'). Many musicians in her circle naturally took offense in that after it came out. She is brought up in the book 'Mix mir einen Drink', where Flake mentions her being present at the first ever Rammstein concert at the NATO in Leipzig on the 14th of April, 1994:
Tatjana stood in the first row, everyone had a strained relationship with her, because she had the talent to give everyone around a guilty feeling [meaning: guilty conscience]. You'd feel lousy when she'd look at you. She stood in the front row, really wanting to see for herself: "Alright, guys, you fools, you dads, show me what you’re up to these days." Till absolutely didn’t want her looking at him and making him feel embarrassed. (Page 377).
Merlin was about 1,5 years old on that point (being born in the 10th of December, 1992), and it was most likely known that Tatjana had a child. So either Richard didn’t consider the possibility that this child might be his to begin with, or Tatjana was in a relationship or dating multiple people at the time Merlin was conceived, making the thought that he could be the father not at all obvious to Richard. So why it took another 7 years, I have no idea. But I don't have to know, since it's none of my business and not my family, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Richard openly acknowledged him as his son in interviews soon after, talking about "my children" (plural!) or "my son and daughter" openly.
#rammstein#richard kruspe#merlin besson#tatjana besson#ddr#ask#why the hell am i always rambling so much. a simpel “seems like it” would've sufficed but no#maria has to go unnecessarily deep again#Kruspe chronicles#rammstein family

Is it true that Richard's son Merlin voices over movies in German? That would be such a cool job!
Hi! Not sure actually, i know he acted in a couple of movies and also did some modelling work, but i haven't heard news lately, so i googled a bit and didn't come up with any news either...then i stumbled upon a site that i *think* is a list where you can find bother actors and voice actors ('synchronsprecher'); Merlin isn't on that...but not sure how complete it is..

That said, i think in Germany lots of non-german-language movies (and tvshows) are still dubbed in german, so i could imagine they use loads and loads of voices and it can be quite a decent job to do 🌺

Merlin on pic nr3 :)
A funny program, Till Lindemann's friend Sven Martinek reads lyrics from the collection "In the quiet night". It's a pity that there is no way to find it online.A little effort and I find a fragment of this program on the YouTube page of the most popular rocker and biker in Germany, Fred Gantenberg, known as Freddy, who is the owner of the club for all metal lovers Blackland. It was in this club in June 2021 that the reading of Till Lindemann's lyrics was recorded by his friend Sven Martinek - a popular film actor in Germany and a close person to the Thomalla family (by the way, there is an opinion that it was he who introduced Till and Sofia, he could even become the bridesman at their wedding. The video features the poem "Alles ist Nass", the main idea is that everything is wet, even Barbara's panties. More Lindemann poems read by Steve Martinek.

The fantasy in modern Arthuriana (2)
This is a loose translation of Claire Jardillier’s article “Les enfants de Merlin: le merveilleux médiéval revisité” (The children of Merlin: Medieval magic revisited), for Anne Besson’s study-compilation.
II/ Wizards and witches
The fantastical elements within modern rewrites are often embodied in the most visible way by a few key characters. First and foremost among this magical cast is, of course, Merlin the enchanter, but also regularly the bard Taliesin, despite his lesser presence within the Matter of Britain. Taliesin indeed only appears obviously tied to Arthur within the Welsh sources, especially “Preiddu Annwn”, where he is part of the expedition led by Arthur to steal away the cauldron of resurrection from the Otherworld. We can make the hypothesis that is it because of the historical rewrites of the Arthurian legends that the character of Taliesin gained such an importance, since it is in the Welsh sources that he is most frequently seen, sources that modern rewriters especially love due to judging them more ancient and thus more “authentic” and more Celtic than the chivalry romances and knighthood romans of France and England. Since Wales resisted more strongly to the Saxon invader, then to the Normand influence, modern novelists like to use the “Mabinogion” and the Welsh poems to historicize their Arthur. Taliesin usually stays within his traditional role of bard, in accord to the historical and bibliographical information we have about him. While quite brief, these information naturally designate him as the symbol of the Arthurian legend within a “realistic” rewriting, as a character between the history and the myth.
[In the “Hanes Taliesin” mainly, translated by Lady Charlotte Guest and which follows her “Mabinogion” translations, we discover the two births of Gwyon Bach/Taliesin, is exploits as a bard within the court of prince Elphin, and some of his poems. The historical Taliesin seems to have been a bard at the court of Urien Rheged during the 6th century, and the poems attributed to him were preserved within the “Llyfr Taliesin” (The Book of Taliesin). It notably contains the famous “Cat Godeu” (Battle of the Trees) and the previously mentioned “Preiddu Annwn”. These Welsh poems, like many others, were translated and published by William F. Skene within his “Four Ancient Books of Wales”]
As such, within Fay Sampson’s “Daughter of Tintagel” cycle he becomes one of the five narrators that relate the life of Morgan. A first-person narration that give a voice to a secondary character of the medieval corpus is a fundamental trait of modern Arthurian literature : as such, we can hear Kai, Pelleas, Bohort, Rhys or Bedwyr, characters whose point of view is rarely given in legends, alongside the manifestation of more novel characters, such as Derfel, a shadowy warrior turned saint in the 6th century who narrates Bernard Cornwell’s “Warlord Chronicles”. [Respectively, Kai is heard within Phyllis Ann Karr’s The Idylls of the Queen and John Gloag’s Artorius Rex ; Pelleas within Stephen R. Lawhead’s Arthur and Courtway Jones’ In the Shadow of the Oak King ; Bohort within Dorothy Jane Roberts’ Launcelot my Brother ; Rhys within Gillian Bradshaw’s Kingdom of Summer ; Bedwyr within Catherine Christian’s The Sword and the Flame and Stephen R. Lawhead’s Arthur.]
Within Stephen Lawhead’s works, the role of Taliesin is more developed since he becomes the father, and so the precursor of Merlin (within Marion Zimmer Bradley’s, he is Merlin’s first incarnation). In his trilogy, the bard Talesin paves the way for Merlin, who will surpass his father in his role as the companion of the major hero, Arthur king of Britain. It is precisely this dimension that is often used by modern Arthurianists. [Stephen R. Lawhead wrote in reality five novels, the last two being a flash-back to episodes from between book 2 and 3. This Arthurian cycle is especially concerned with the questions of filiation, legitimacy and predestination. As such, Taliesin announces and foreshadow the coming of his son, a sort of messiah for the Britons, but Merlin himself works for the coming of Arthur, the savior of Britain as much on a spiritual level (the writings of Lawhead are distinctly Christian in tone) as on a political level. It is probably why we also see here a weird and exceptional element introduced, as Arthur is made the posthumous son of Aurelius, and not the bastard of Uther. Here Arthur is the product of an union blessed by the Church, and as such he descends from the first High-King, not from his replacement out of a “side-branch” of the family.]
We also have to note that modern rewrites love to tell what happened during the life of characters in the form of prequels – in this case, the youth of Merlin, which is rarely detailed in the Middle-Ages outside of his birth and his encounter with Vortigern. It was the case within Mary Stewart, the first author who was concerned with the wizard’s youth, and who sems to have deeply marked modern Arthurianists, since the same pattern can be found in other novels, including those of Stephen Lawhead. This concern with “what happened before” is not exclusively Arthurian, and can be seen within other contemporary sagas – Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Blueberry… It is a tradition as old as the various “Childhoods” texts of the Middle-Ages. [Mary Stewart wrote “The Crystal Cave”, “The Hollow Hills” and “The Last Enchantment”. As a proof of the intertextuality of Arthurian novels, “the last enchantment” is an expression reused and exploited by Bernard Cornwell in the last part of his trilogy, where a dying Merlin, entirely devoured by his own student Nimue, preserves a “last enchantment” to allow Arthur and a few others to escape the battle of Camlan]
Be it Taliesin or Merlin, the first way the question of the magic implants itself within the narrative device is about the relationship between the king and his wizard. The magical element is thus tied to the political power, weighed down by a reality which, if not historical, is at least coherent. This heirloom is directly tied to the medieval sources, even if it is not obvious at first. The idea of an Arthur raised as a boy by Merlin owes much more to T.H. White’s “The Once and Future King” than to the medieval texts, where only a slow and complex evolution allowed the association of those two characters now seen as undividable. [White’s work is a set of five novels, first published separately, then compiled as one work in the 50s, and to which the last novel, The Book of Merlin, was added in 1977. This work is a precursor of all the rewrites that happened from the 60s onward, especially the first book that tells of Arthur’s childhood and his education by Merlin. It was a best-seller, and the adaptation of this first novel into an animated movie by Disney (63’s The Sword in the Stone) amplified its impact]. Indeed, within Geoffroy of Monmouth, Merlin and Arthur follow each other in the text… but never meet. It was within later rewrites, Wave, Lawamon, and in the French “Lancelot-Graal”, that the king and the enchanter will develop a more intimate relationship, culminating within Malory’s Morte Darthur. [In Geoffroy’s tale, the two characters at least never meet within the context of the tale. A doubt is allowed since in most of the manuscripts, Merlin makes a brief apparition at the very end of the “Historia”, where an “angelic voice” talks to Cadwallader, telling him that “God wishes that the Britons stop ruling within Britain until the moment that Merlin prophesized to Arthur” ; this sentence implies that Merlin might have been the king’s prophet, a role that will become more and more obvious in later rewrites]
This is due to the two characters, Merlin and Arthur, originally belonging to two distinct traditions. Once they became connected thanks to Geoffroy’s Historia Regum Britaniae, the two characters got closer and closer, and gained many interactions, just as Merlin’s interventions became more and more fantastical. This is very clear when we look at an episode shared by all the medieval Merlinian tales: the moving of the stones of Ireland to create Stonehenge. Within Geoffroy’s, it is a mechanical process. Within Wace, an unexplained way. Finally, within Lawamon, it becomes a powerful spell that makes the stone “as light as feathers”. Modern authors follow this tradition and often reuse this episode, or a similar one, in what we can call “the motif of the dancing stones”. In the same way, within Lawhead’s novel, a child Merlin proves his powers to an assembly of druids by making the stones of a cromlech levitate. Stonehenge plays an important role for Cornwell: it becomes the place of a ghost-filled ceremony during which Merlin gives Excalibur to Arthur. Even among comic books, Merlin makes stones dance before amazed mortals. [It is within the first volume of the BD series “Merlin” by Jean-Luc Istin and Eric Lambert, “La colère d’Ahès” (The Wrath of Ahès). The dancing stones of Istin and Lambert are quite similar to the ones described by Lawhead, and the scenarist confessed having read the “Pendragon Cycle”. We find in this “Merlin” the same habt of syncretizing religions as within Lawhead’s works (father Blaise is a former druid, and offers Merlin as a symbol of the union of religions).]
We find back here what we said before: the historicized Arthurian literature of the 60s-80s greatly deprived the medieval text of their fantasy, and since the 80s-90s we have a slow re-appropriation of the medieval magic within novels that still, however, wish to be historical. In other terms – the stones are dancing again, but they are always dancing in a mentioned 6th century.
Before Lawamon, Merlin only acted during the lifetime of Aurelius and Uther, before disappearing for no reason after Arthur’s birth. However, the encounter between those two historical characters was too tempting to be avoided, and we can see a true shift between Geoffroy and Malory (for example), which today leads to the many tales in which Merlin acts as the teacher, tutor, or even adoptive father of Arthur. This filiation is helped by two elements. On one side, that is an elliptic moment covering Arthur’s childhood in medieval texts, and we go from him as a baby to him as a young fifteen-year old king. [We find within Lawamon the beginning of an explication: child-Arthur was raised by elves at Avalon. This idea was reused by Parke Godwin within the novel “Firelord”.] On the other hand, we can see that all of his next of kin die around the same time. In front of this absence of parents, it is very tempting to remove Ector (the father of Kay and the tutor of the royal child in the tradition) and put in his place a more familiar and impressive character, Merlin the wizard.
We talked before of the habit of “prequels”: the cyclical temptation of modern novels, which in a way mimics the Arthurian medieval tradition of a condensed and fractioned writing of the whole Arthurian legend (usually in three volumes), favorizes the writing of the origins, of the “before Arthur”. The introduction of Merlin, but also of Taliesin, proves this attraction for what Anne Besson calls an “Arthurian prehistory”. For Stephen Lawhead, the link between the various generations (Taliesin, father of Merlin, Merlin spiritual father of Arthur) insists upon the greatness and the predestination of the king of the Britons, the bearer of Light. Even when the Arthurian tale is limited to a single novel, it is not unusual to see it begin with the generation before Arthur: it was the case with Victor Canning’s “The Crimson Chalice”, where a third of the novel follows the events that led to Arthur’s birth (even though here Arthur’s parents are named Tia and Baradoc, and bear no resemblance to Igraine or Uther).
To all the reasons described above, we must add the fictional temptation of having characters coexisting to allow a powerful confrontation. But this temptation also bears a prevalent trait of the modern Arthurian fiction, and of its dialogue with the sources. Indeed, it is not uncommon to see a rearrangement, to various degrees, of the links that traditionally unite the characters. As such, in most sources Ygerne is the wife of Gorlois and the mother of Arthur, but she can be his half-sister and the mother of Medraud within Rosemary Sutcliff’s “Sword at Sunset”. The same Ygerne becomes Gorlois’ daughter, not his wife, in Stephen Lawhead’s work, as the author plays with the writing of the myth, has his Merlin-narrator laugh about the mad rumors that circulated about the siege of Tintagel “I have even heard it said that Ygerna was Gorlas’ wife – Imagine that!”). The marvelous does not escape this kind of more-or-less extreme shifts: the case of the female characters, of their relationship to magic, and of their role within history is especially revealing.

I thought Khira was Richard's twin but Merlin is his copy. The more photos I see of him, the more he looks like his dad. Not only heavy Kruspe facial features but also the body and expressions. That picture with Khira and Emil, he looks so much like this picture. Even the hips!

Hi 👋🏻
The comparison picture is this one, I assume:
I must admit, I'm still torn on this one. Sometimes I do see some similarities between Richard and Merlin, other times I see barely any resemblance. Maybe here it's the posture and the attitude, since sometimes Merlin's demeanour in pictures reminds me of Richard. Regarding facial features I'd say he inherited the strong eyebrow bone structure of his father, and maybe his jawline. Some more pictures for comparison:

But then again, I still can't estimate which of Richard's kids looks the most like him 😅

I too forgot Merlin existed! 😂 Are him and Khira full siblings? Also, since we're here, how many kids Oli has? And I saw somewhere that Till has 2 sons and I was like what since when??
Merlin is Khira’s and Maxime’s half brother; his mother is Tatiana Besson(she was in Die Firma with Richard. Also a Stasi informant, but that’s a whole other tale). I don’t know anything about Oli’s kids, though. And I have heard that Till has two sons, but other than that, I know nothing about them..

Secret Mission
Chapter 3
Read it on AO3 or FFN
M for language and innuendos. (No graphic smut though. Not on this one... So maybe T? I'm still learning. Feel free to comment or message me what you think, I'm saying M to be safe 🤷🏾♀️)
----
Hermione lay back on the bed and smiled up at the ceiling, thinking back to those early weeks of the mission. Merlin, her and Ron fought daily...several times a day if she was being honest. He wasn't exactly an arse; on the contrary Hermione found him to be quite humble and he even seemed to question himself and his Captain's overall faith in him as a competent leader for the team. But he contradicted and questioned everything she said. When she tried to inform him and his team on normal Parisian culture, he teased her and cracked jokes in an insultingly awful French accent. When she suggested locations where the gang of wizards they were to track down may frequent, he implied that a fair British-turned-French maiden such as herself couldn't possibly know where the rugged and dark population would frequent. When she suggested reading material for Ron and the team, he used the books as a pillow for a kip.
He had horrendous table manners, talked with his mouth full, his language was appalling, his hair was too long and always unkempt, he brandished his wand with an utter lack of finesse, and he did it all with a silly slanted grin that made Hermione feel infuriatingly flustered.
There was no denying it; Hermione fancied Ron Weasley.
After a few days of staying in the Ministry's secret bunker, Ron's team was moved discreetly to Le Chateau Cache, "The Hidden Castle", in the south of France. It was secured by the French Ministry's Unspeakables, and thus the only ones who knew about the castle, where it was located and who was being housed there were the two Unspeakables, the nine British Aurors, Hermione, and Head Auror Besson.
It was a beautiful spacious home with room for the seven men and three women (Hermione and the two female British aurors "Dora" Tonks - who refused to give her full name and demanded to be simply called Tonks - and Padma Patil). Tonks and Patil bunked together, so Hermione took a room to herself that she soon realized shared the small, cozy sitting room with the bedroom Auror Weasley claimed for himself.
It was on a quiet evening, three weeks since the start of the mission, that Hermione found herself in the sitting room reading by the fireplace, when Auror Weasley strolled into the sitting room from his bedroom.
"Granger, what are you still doing up?"
"Reading up to reacquaint myself with -" Hermione looked up as she spoke and her voice caught in her throat. Weasley was fresh from the shower. He had a towel wrapped low on his waist, gripped only by his large left hand at the hip, while he used his right hand to dry his hair with his wand. His muscular shoulders and chest were glistening in the light from the fireplace and her eyes took a second to follow a thin line of ginger hair that trailed down from his belly button only to disappear behind the white towel. He was stunning. "uh...erm," Hermione cleared her throat and shook her head.
"With Nice?" he offered. The team was scouting locations in Nice where they thought some of the dark French Wizards may be hiding out. Hermione nodded as she averted her eyes. She tried to gather her thoughts and steady her breathing. Merlin will he go and put some clothes on! Weasley came over by her perch on a chaise and peered over her shoulder at the books. "These are all in French," he scowled.
"Did you expect them to be in Russian?" she scoffed. He rolled his eyes, giving Hermione a moment to glance over his chest once more. He's standing so close. Mon dieu...he smells delicious. Delicious? Pull yourself together Granger!
"Obviously not but maybe some English would be nice. How are we," he motioned to himself and his team, "supposed to get anything from your ruddy books if they're all in French?"
"I think you're forgetting, Auror Weasley, that's what I'm for. I'm your team's translator. For French language, culture and geography."
"Well, yeah, but what about when you're not with us?"
"I'll always be with you," she sat up straighter and tensed. She knew where this was going.
"The hell you will. You're not going anywhere near these dark wizards we're rounding up. Especially not if they're auror trained. I have to look out for my team, I can't look out for you too!"
"I am highly capable of taking of myself Weasley, I will have you know. I received top marks in my defense classes at Beauxbatons and have been trained specially by Monsieur Besson himself." Hermione was standing now and her voice was raised and getting higher with each word. Hermione noticed him cast a wordless spell on the room she could only assume was a silencing charm. She squared her shoulders and stood to her full height, ready for tonight's row.
Unfortunately, Weasley's full height towered over hers. And he used that to his advantage as he stepped closer and literally talked down to her. "You think that good grades in sodding school classes or a week of 'specialized' so-called training is going to help you when one of those bastards pulls his wand on you? Or worse?! No, Granger. You are to stay here, out of harm's way," he practically growled through his teeth. "I will not be held responsible for a Ministry intern getting injured or...not on my watch." He emphasized the word intern, Hermione noticed, as an attempt to belittle her. She would not have that.
"I am a paid employee of the Ministry of Magical Affairs of France who happens to hold the respect and complete faith of the Minister himself as well as the Head Auror and the Head of the entire Magical Law Enforcement office! They would not have sent me otherwise!" Ron scoffed. "Do you expect to keep me locked up here? Like a-a little French damsel in distress locked away in your tower?"
"If I have to, yes!" he bellowed. "You're not an auror, Granger! You're not trained for combat and you will not go scouting with us!"
"And the nine of you are not trained on French culture and only two of your team know just the very basics of the language! They admitted themselves they can ask for the loo, order food, and, as they so eloquently put it, 'catch a few French birds'! You would give yourselves away immediately!"
"That's why you brief us before we leave!"
"Yes, I brief you before you leave." Weasley nodded at her, satisfied. But she wasn't done. "Then I accompany you - as Head Auror Besson assigned me to do!" Her voice rose again at the last words to cut off his attempt to interrupt in protest.
Weasley got close to Hermione once again, clearly exasperated, but this time he bent low to her face. "Fine. You want to tag along and play little French auror with the big boys, be my guest. But you're on your own. You think you can protect yourself so well, go right ahead!"
"Fine."
"I-we won't protect you."
"I don't need protecting."
"If you get hurt-"
"I won't get hurt.
"Fine."
"Fine."
Silence. Neither moved, their faces so close his long nose practically brushed against hers. She glanced at his full lips then looked back up at his eyes only to realize they were on her own mouth.
It happened in slow motion, but so quick she barely saw it coming all at the same time. His lips were on hers and she gasped in surprise. As if by instinct her eyes fluttered closed and her fingers found their way up his soft yet hard chest and shoulders to the back of his neck, sliding into his still damp hair. His right hand pressed against her back pulling her into him, his left hand still had to keep his towel at his waist. She swallowed his moan as she sighed against his mouth. The tension of the past three weeks had built up so quickly, Hermione felt as if she would burst.
They kissed for what felt like hours, but was only a minute before they finally pulled away. Hermione's chest rose and fell quickly at her stuttered breathing. Ron Weasley just kissed me, she thought to herself as she stared into his blue eyes. And now he's looking at me like he wants to devour me. Merlin I'm in trouble.
As Hermione dozed off to the memory of her and Ron's first kiss, she didn't hear the hotel room door quietly open and shut as the tall redhead let himself in then leaned against the door watching her sleeping form in their bed.
----
Merlin, she's so beautiful. Ron leaned against the door and took a moment to stare at his sleeping wife. Her long hair sprawled across both pillows in a mass of brown curls, her gorgeous little mouth slightly open as soft snores sounded through her lips (although she swears she does not snore), one hand tucked behind her ear, the other - her left - across her stomach. Her ring glittered in the bit of moonlight seeping through the windows and Ron was reminded of his own ring. He lifted his left hand and his wand in his right, tapped his third finger and wordlessly lifted the concealment charm from his matching wedding band.
He sighed and wondered if he should hope she would stay asleep when he crawled into bed. Being away from her all day meant he really wanted her to wake up. He wanted to talk to her, hear about her day, then treat his wife of just two weeks to a proper rogering. But, he knew that this meant telling her about his day...
And telling her that he did not, in fact, tell his mum or family about her yet.
Somehow Ron had the feeling this would lead to a lonely shower instead of bedding his wife, something he'd rather avoid if you asked him.
He sighed resolutely as he removed his trainers, socks, trousers and shirt, littering the floor as he made his way to the bed - she would fuss at him in the morning no doubt - and crawled onto the squeaky mattress in nothing but his pants. As she stirred to the motion in the bed, Ron took a deep breath. Here we go.
He moved in and put his arm over her as her eyes fluttered open. "Ron?"
"Were you expecting your other husband?" he teased as his lips brushed against her temple, her nose, her lips. She hummed in response, her arms snaking around his neck.
Suddenly she pulled back, clearly wide awake now. "You're very late," she said with a scowl.
"I know, Love, I'm so sorry. My dad walked me out to leave two hours ago," she raised her eyebrow at him, "but then at the last minute just had to pull me into his work shed to show me a new toy he was tinkering with. That led to an onslaught of him showing me all his newest muggle toys. I couldn't get away to come back to you fast enough." He moved in to kiss her again, hoping he could distract her. Perhaps get some action before the row. Although, our make-up sex is quite explosive too.
"Ron," she murmured against his lips. "Ron," she said his name again and more firmly as she pulled back. Shit... "Did you tell your family? Did you talk to them?"
Ron sighed and sat up to lean back against the headboard. Hermione followed suit. "I couldn't Mione. There was just so much going on today with my return." Hermione tsk'd her disapproval. "I know! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry. But you don't understand, I can't just blurt it out to them. This is huge, my mum especially will likely be devastated she didn't see her youngest son married off. I really want to tell her first, and have her come meet you alone. Give her time to adjust and accept before the others find out."
Hermione watched him deep in thought, then actually nodded in understanding. "I think I get that. From what you've told me about your mum, she keeps you all close. You're right, this will be a big deal for her." She paused. "So, you'll tell your mum privately, bring us together to meet, then tell the rest of the family?" Ron winced and Hermione bristled. "What?" she groaned.
"Well...what I didn't realize...there's also the added issue of Harry."
"Your best friend?"
"Yes. And Ginny, my sister...his fiancee."
"Yes, I remember."
"Well...Step one is to tell my mom alone. But I think I need to add a step two - tell Harry and Ginny alone. I have to break it to them gently." He looked at Hermione's puzzled face and turned to face her. "Mione, Harry proposed to her a year and a half ago. They waited all this time, refusing to get married until I returned. He said he couldn't get married without me by his side." Ron looked at her pointedly until realization passed over her face.
"And yet you took the step without him at your side," she breathed out understanding the dilemma. "You're worried how he'll feel about that." Ron nodded sadly. "Do you think he'll be angry?"
"No...not necessarily? Gin might. She's a bit of a hot head."
"Wonder where she gets that from," Hermione mumbled.
Ron pushed her shoulder gently and scoffed. "Anyway, I know for sure Gin will feel put out. But it's harder to say with Harry. He'll be thrilled, not doubt, but he may act thrilled and try to hide his disappointment in me. Especially if he finds out with the whole lot. At least, if I can sit with him alone or just us and Gin, he'll be more honest about if he's hacked off about it or not and I can hopefully take a moment to smooth things over with him."
"Well...okay. Step one, you tell your mum, tomorrow, so she can be the first to know and meet me. Step two, you break the news gently to Harry and Ginny, so you can talk to them about your decision and make sure they don't feel left out from this major moment in your life. Then...am I okay to assume that step three will be the remainder of the family? Or is their an owl who needs to hear about us first?" Ron took her joke and chuckle as a really good sign.
"Well, yeah actually... Pig may feel a bit put out as well."
Hermione guffawed. "Ronald...your owl's name is...Pig? Really?"
Ron laughed. "Pigwidgeon actually." Hermione looked at him deeply puzzled by the name. "I know! Ruddy ridiculous name! Ginny named him after Sirius, Harry's godfather I told you about, gave him to me. Before I could consider an actual, proper name for him, that was all he would answer to! Silly little owl he is. So, I call him Pig for short."
By the end of his story Hermione was laughing. Ron joined in then tucked a curl behind her ear as their laughter subsided. "Merlin I love your laugh," he said quietly.
"Well it's a good thing you're relatively funny then," she said. She gave him 'the' smile as she sank back down to the pillows. Ron was so overjoyed that she was not upset with him that he almost missed it. He caught on as her fingers began to play with the ginger hairs that made a trail down into his pants and the bulge immediately began to grow.
"Why, Mrs. Weasley," he cooed softly as he rolled himself to hover over her, "I thought you were tired. You were already asleep when I came back." He ran his index finger softly over her eyebrow and down her cheek to trail along her jaw.
"Oh no, that was just a power nap Auror Weasley. You see," she tucked her chin and looked up at Ron through her lashes, "I have a special mission tonight."
"You do, do you?" She nodded with an almost inaudible 'mm-hmm'. Ron chuckled. She is going to be the death of me. "And what might that mission be?"
"Well," she lifted her leg to wrap around his muscular thigh, "I've only ever been bedded in France. I am quite looking forward to adding England to my list of countries where - umph!" Ron interrupted her with a deep, passionate kiss.

Oh do you have that interview with Merlin? Is he still a model?
It's an interview from 2015: https://m.bild.de/regional/berlin/gute-zeiten-schlechte-zeiten/rammstein-sohn-und-gzszs-star-beim-psychiater-41032488.bildMobile.html?t_ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F
He says: "My father is extremely proud of me. Especially because I found something in life which makes me happy."
Not sure what his current line of work is, from what I've known he is/was an actor and model.
