Twin blades and pinstripe pants

After a year of DMing, my players and I have finally wrapped up our first arc! So to celebrate I drew the party (+ two NPCs who’ve tagged along and may or may not be intertwined with a variety of cosmic fates). I wanted to experiment with shape language and composition, and I think these turned out wonderfully!

From the top: 
- Nimbus, tiefling/drow moon druid 
- Mercer, orc/drow swashbuckler
 - Finnél, high/dark elf bladesinger 
- Zale, tiefling/sea elf tempest cleric 
- Karoz, tiefling/orc bear totem warrior 
- Favian, wood elf (?) rogue (?)
 - Providence, aasimar-orc storm herald

Flashback to the very first session in which Mercer found some gold down in a mineshaft

My dad passed away very recently. Something he did for my brother and me was take us to book stores and load up on whatever we'd added on our tbr lists. He really couldn't afford it, but he liked to foster a passion he shared with us whenever he could.

Consider this a tribute. It's easily a snapshot from my own childhood.
