I have the tag blocked tbh, it’s uncomfortable to me- but I get it? I think enemies to lovers is cool, it has all the pieces to be something good- but I think that any chance of me enjoying it was lost when I started seeing it watered down to ‘hot angsty gays’, and I saw people really undermine/ignore Cassandra in a way I hated. Also, I only enjoy it as a ‘this was a past possibility that we lost when we both chose our own paths’ more than an actual ship dynamic.

This is the bread and butter of the fandom. It’s fine, just boring. I think it’s cool Darryl had a queer awakening, I think it’s cool Henry is bi, but at its best it’s two married men in a completely healthy and normal relationship- at its worst it’s villianizing Carol and ignoring Mercedes. There’s really nothing to say on this one. If you like plain fluff its good, not my thing tho.

So I want to have one of those cool ship names for Henry x Mercedes x Darryl because A) who doesn’t love saying ‘Yeah I ship {ship but with a cool name that makes you go DUDE!}’ and B) I feel like there has to be a pun to be made somewhere here that would be suitable for our dad joke making boys

But it’s also very surface level and despite my tired brain thinking it’s funny it’s probably actually not very amusing at all
