Menchie’s, 3808 W Verdugo Ave, Burbank, CA 91505
Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s moved within the same shopping center and opened at the new spot on February 11, 2023. It took over a year for the build out. They built it themselves and kept the tiled wall and other elements of the previous location. The shop looks great – cute and cheerful with lots of images of Menchie and his friends, the green circular tile wall, and Menchie’s green and pink all over.
There are 14 self-serve flavors a day. Froyo and toppings are $0.65/oz. They also have froyo cakes and sell some Menchie’s merchandise. Sample cups were left out on a big circular tray. I didn’t see any waffle bowls (many Menchie’s locations make waffle bowls). They have sauces (chocolate shell), candy, cookies, cereal, coconut, fruit, cheesecake, nuts, chocolate chips, marshmallows, popping boba, etc.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Low carb German chocolate cake
I dream of cookies & cream
Creamy peanut butter: creamy and smooth, lots of pb flavor
Cold brew coffee
Dole pineapple
Dreamy dulce de leche
Live from NY cheesecake
NSA strawberry
Original tart
Pure chocolate
Takes the cake batter
Vanilla snow
Vegan mint chocolate chip: not bad, tasted like mint chocolate chip, dark brown in color, not too icy but not as creamy as regular froyo
Unavailable
This is definitely one of the better Menchie’s locations. The texture of the yogurt is better. They actually update their flavors (you can see them on the Menchie’s website and app). Service is better too. There are a few tables inside and a nice outdoor patio. Sign up for the rewards program and earn $5 in Menchie’s money when you collect 50 smiles.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.

Menchie’s, 3800 W Verdugo Ave, Burbank, CA 91505
Fro-yo girl here. Menchie’s Burbank is a smaller, older location located in a non-descript strip mall with easy parking. It may not be the most impressive looking Menchie’s but it’s very busy. They have 12 self-serve flavors a day, toppings (candy, coconut, cookies, graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon streusel, cereal, sprinkles, chips, mini malt balls, nuts, fruit – 5 kinds that were fresh, cookie dough, mochi, brownies, cheesecake, popping boba), and syrups (some are warm) for 43 cents an ounce (this review is old and I’m sure the price must have gone up since it was written). Sample cups were available on a tray by the register.
Froyo flavors of the day:
Blueberry
Snickerdoodle: rich, creamy, very sweet with a lot of cinnamon flavor, too sweet for me
Green apple sorbet
Fruit punch sorbet
Dole pineapple
Wild berry tart
Purely tart
Vanilla snow
Pumpkin: pretty nice, thick, creamy, smooth, not too sweet, has pumpkin flavor that isn’t overwhelmed by too many spices
Irish mint
Pure chocolate
Maple nut: Bland, little flavor
You can also buy froyo pints and Menchie’s merchandise. Waffle bowls are available but the place didn’t smell like freshly made waffles. I’ve come here twice looking for certain froyo spoons and they didn’t have them (probably because it’s a busy location). The regular Menchie’s spoons are very cute, so I wasn’t too disappointed. Earn free froyo with the My Smileage card.
You know you love me. X0 X0, fro-yo girl.
