WiP Wednesday - more BBAU

Look it’s on the brain now, have something.

You promised blood. The monster in her chest sulked.

“And,” Catra grunted as she shoved a man back by his wooden shield, “you will get it.”

It was almost like an overlay, she could see the scenario of a full transformation where she shredded through one and all with claws and teeth. It was distracting more for the unintended cruelty. If she could do that, everything would be solved. She’d have no more fear, no more rage, just instinct forcing her along like these half humans she fought. But she was not a beast fully yet, and thus the world it forced was nothing more than a fantasy.

Apparently unhappy with the reminder, her eternal guest somehow gave the impression of turning its back on her.

Catra relaxed her arm again, only using what was needed to swing the deadly blades about to shred most effectively. “See? Blood.”

It is not the same.
