Celebrating Eid al-Fitr, Vocabulary Used in Writing Books!
Tumblr media
Eid Mubarak! Celebrating the Joy of Eid al-Fitr
Tumblr media
Eid al-Fitr, also known as the "Festival of Breaking Fast," is a joyous occasion that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan for Muslims worldwide. It's a time for celebration, reflection, and giving thanks. But what exactly does Eid al-Fitr involve? Let's dive into the traditions and festivities that make this holiday so special!
The Spirit of Eid
Tumblr media
Imagine a vibrant explosion of colors, delicious smells wafting through the air, and the sound of happy chatter filling the streets. That's the essence of Eid al-Fitr! After a month of fasting and spiritual focus, Eid brings a sense of accomplishment and renewal. It's a time to reconnect with loved ones, share blessings, and express gratitude for Allah's (God's) mercy.
Preparing for the Celebration
Tumblr media
The days leading up to Eid are filled with excitement and preparation. Homes are cleaned and decorated with beautiful lights and colorful streamers. New clothes, often in bright colors and traditional designs, are purchased for the occasion. Families also prepare special Eid delicacies, like sweet treats like baklava and savory dishes like biryani.
Eid Day!
Tumblr media
The festivities begin on the first day of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan. Muslims wake up early for Eid prayers, typically held in large congregations at mosques or open prayer grounds. The atmosphere is filled with a sense of unity and brotherhood (or sisterhood!). People greet each other with warm wishes of "Eid Mubarak," which translates to "Blessed Eid."

Family Gatherings and Feasts
Tumblr media
After prayers, the real fun begins! Families and friends gather for joyous celebrations. Children receive gifts (sometimes money in small decorated envelopes called Eidi), and everyone shares a delicious Eid feast. The aroma of freshly cooked food fills the air, and tables are laden with an array of sweet and savory dishes. It's a time for laughter, stories, and strengthening family bonds.
Charity and Giving Back
Tumblr media
An important aspect of Eid is remembering those less fortunate. Muslims are encouraged to give Zakat, a form of obligatory charity, to help the poor and needy. Sharing food and gifts with neighbors and loved ones is also a cherished tradition. This spirit of giving embodies the true essence of Eid – spreading joy and helping others.
Traditional Activities
Eid celebrations can vary depending on the region, but some common traditions include:
Mehndi (Henna): Women and girls often adorn their hands and feet with intricate henna designs.
Visiting family and friends: It's a time to reconnect with loved ones, exchange gifts, and strengthen bonds.
Eid Greetings: Sending warm wishes and messages to loved ones who might be far away.
The Vocabulary of Celebration
Now, let's explore some vocabulary related to Eid al-Fitr that you might encounter in books:
Ramadan: The holy month of fasting that precedes Eid al-Fitr.
Fasting: Abstaining from food and drink from dawn to dusk during Ramadan.
Zakat: Obligatory charity given to the poor and needy.
Eid Mubarak: A greeting used during Eid, meaning "Blessed Eid."
Shawwal: The Islamic month in which Eid al-Fitr falls.
Mosque: A place of worship for Muslims.
Biryani: A fragrant rice dish with meat, vegetables, and spices.
Baklava: A layered pastry dessert made with phyllo dough, nuts, and syrup.
Mehndi (Henna): A temporary body art using a paste made from the henna plant.
Eid al-Fitr in Books
The vibrant traditions and joyous spirit of Eid al-Fitr often find their way into books. Stories can depict the excitement of preparing for the celebration, the importance of family gatherings, and the act of giving back to the community. Reading these stories can be a wonderful way to learn about different cultures and traditions, even if you don't celebrate Eid yourself.
The Enduring Message of Eid
Eid al-Fitr is a beautiful celebration that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. It reminds us of the importance of faith, family, and compassion. Whether you're Muslim or not, the message of Eid - spreading joy, giving thanks, and helping others - is a universal one that we can all embrace. So, the next time you hear someone say "Eid Mubarak," remember the spirit of this joyous occasion and celebrate the beauty of cultural diversity in our world!

Waterproof temporary tattoos in India
In the diverse and vibrant landscape of India, self-expression knows no bounds. From traditional henna designs to contemporary body art, Indians have always embraced various forms of temporary tattoos. However, a recent trend has taken the country by storm – waterproof temporary tattoos. In this article, we'll explore the growing popularity of waterproof temporary tattoos in India, delving into the reasons behind their surge in demand and the impact they are making on the country's body art scene.
The Appeal of Waterproof Temporary Tattoos In India:
Waterproof temporary tattoos in India have become a fashion statement and a means of personal expression for people of all ages. These innovative body art creations offer a unique blend of durability and style, making them an ideal choice for those looking to make a lasting impression. The versatility of these tattoos allows individuals to showcase their personality without the commitment of a permanent ink design.
The Evolution of Body Art in India:
The rich cultural tapestry of India has always embraced various forms of body art. From the intricate mehndi designs during festivals and weddings to the contemporary tattoos inspired by global trends, Indians have a deep-rooted appreciation for self-expression through body adornment. The emergence of waterproof temporary tattoos has added a new dimension to this age-old tradition, providing a temporary yet resilient canvas for creativity.
Innovative Designs Reflecting Indian Culture:
One of the reasons behind the growing popularity of waterproof temporary tattoos in India is the availability of designs that resonate with the diverse cultural heritage of the country. From traditional motifs inspired by Indian folklore to modern interpretations of iconic symbols, these tattoos allow individuals to celebrate their identity in a unique and temporary way. The incorporation of Indian elements in the designs ensures that wearers can connect with their roots while staying on-trend.
Quality and Longevity – The Winning Combination:
Waterproof temporary tattoos have gained a reputation for their exceptional quality and longevity. In a country where festivals, celebrations, and rituals involve a significant amount of water exposure, having a tattoo that withstands such conditions is a game-changer. Whether it's dancing in the rain during the monsoon or participating in water-based festivities, individuals can now confidently showcase their body art without worrying about it fading away.
The Role of Simply Inked in the Waterproof Temporary Tattoo Revolution:
Amidst the rising demand for waterproof temporary tattoos in India, Simply Inked has emerged as a prominent player, offering a diverse range of designs that cater to the unique tastes of Indian consumers. Their commitment to quality and innovation has positioned them as a leader in the market, providing individuals with a reliable source for trendy and durable temporary tattoos.
Fashion Forward: Waterproof Temporary Tattoos in Urban India:
Urban India has witnessed a surge in the adoption of waterproof temporary tattoos as a fashion statement. Whether it's young professionals experimenting with bold designs or college students expressing their individuality, these tattoos have become an integral part of the urban fashion landscape. The keyword "Waterproof temporary tattoos In India" seamlessly integrates into the narrative, emphasizing the relevance of this trend in the Indian context.
Inclusive Trends: Waterproof Temporary Tattoos for All Ages:
One notable aspect of the waterproof temporary tattoo trend in India is its inclusivity across age groups. From children exploring their creativity to older individuals embracing body art for the first time, these tattoos appeal to a broad audience. The keyword placement strategically emphasizes the trend's widespread acceptance, making it clear that waterproof temporary tattoos are not confined to a specific demographic.
DIY Culture: Personalized Waterproof Temporary Tattoos:
The do-it-yourself (DIY) culture has gained significant traction in India, with individuals seeking ways to personalize their belongings. Waterproof temporary tattoos have become a canvas for self-expression in this cultural shift. Whether it's creating custom designs or adapting existing ones to suit personal preferences, the temporary nature of these tattoos aligns perfectly with the evolving DIY ethos in the country.
Environmental Considerations: The Sustainability of Temporary Tattoos:
As environmental consciousness grows, consumers are increasingly opting for sustainable and eco-friendly choices. Waterproof temporary tattoos in India, being temporary and easily removable, align with this eco-conscious mindset. The keyword placement underscores the importance of this trend in the Indian market, highlighting the synergy between fashion and environmental responsibility.
Challenges and Opportunities in the Market:
While the market for waterproof temporary tattoos in India is on the rise, it is not without its challenges. Competition, consumer education, and the need for continuous innovation pose hurdles for both existing and emerging players. However, these challenges also present opportunities for growth, fostering creativity and pushing brands to stay ahead in this dynamic and evolving industry.
Conclusion:
The surge in popularity of waterproof temporary tattoos in India signifies a shift in the way individuals perceive and embrace body art. Simply Inked's role in providing quality and stylish options has contributed to this trend, making waterproof temporary tattoos a staple in the Indian fashion landscape. As the market continues to evolve, the keyword "Waterproof temporary tattoos In India" will undoubtedly remain at the forefront of conversations, reflecting the enduring appeal and cultural significance of this unique form of self-expression.

JUZ 15 - LESSONS
➖SURAH BANI ISRAEL/AL-ISRA
"Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable..." (17:9)
We will slip but if we are connected with the Qur'an, we will be able to get back on track. If we let go of the Qur'an, then Shaytan will become our GPS.
- "Man supplicates for evil as he supplicates for good, and man is ever hasty." (17:11)
Sometimes because of the intensity of our trials, we ask Allah SWT for the wrong things. Do not be hasty. Watch your words and feelings when making a du'a. Express your brokenness and weakness to Him but be patient in your trials.
Du'a is a way to show-I believe in Allah SWT, I believe that He has the Power to fix my matters and grant me what I desire and what is better for me, therefore, I am asking Him.
When you feel disconnected or broken inside, it might be a sign that you have distanced away from Allah SWT. Connect with Him and feel complete again.
Whoever desires Akhirah should exert themselves. We cannot get Jannah merely by "wishing" for it.
- Make Du'a for your parents (even if they have passed away)
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small." (17:24)
- "Give the relative his right, and the poor and the traveler, and do not spend wastefully."
How do we waste wealth? When people in the world are dying of famine and wars, but we want to buy designer handbags and shoes or hold an extravagant wedding or party. If you have a lot of money, spend in the way of Allah SWT. Spend on your poor relatives, feed the poor and help the travelers so that this becomes a shield for you against the punishment of Hellfire.
➖WE WILL BE QUESTIONED ABOUT OUR WEALTH.
FIVE QUESTIONS WE WILL BE ASKED:
- Our life and how we spent it
- Our youth and how he used it
- Our wealth and how we earned it and how we spent it
- How we acted upon the knowledge we acquired it.
If you do not have money, it is okay. You do not have to yell at people, push them or be rude in any other way. Excuse yourself politely. Watch your words.
➖Do not kill your children fearing poverty-NO ABORTIONS
- Do not walk arrogantly on the earth. It knows everything about us -the places that we go to, the people that we meet, the actions of obedience or disobedience that we do. On the Day of Judgment, it will reveal everything that we used to do. Be conscious. Be humble.
Everything around us glorifies Allah SWT, then why does man love to talk about himself or his children or his possessions much but remembers Allah SWT little? Remember Him when you are sitting, standing, commuting, doing your chores, alone and in a gathering.
- Shaytan induces dissension. Because when people are drowned in negative thoughts and plotting against each other they cannot focus on their ibadah or good deeds.
Strive to get closer to Allah SWT. We strive in this world to get a better college degree, a better job, a better home, why don't we strive for the Hereafter to get permanent blessings?
- We believe in the mercy of Allah SWT that He will forgive our sins but we should not be so relaxed that we do not make an effort. Allah SWT will overlook our shortcomings when there some good deeds in our records. Do not be negligent.
- Say no to music and singing. Check your phone's ringtone. Is it a song or something musical? They are the voices of Shaytan. (Do not put Athan or Qur'an recitation as your ringtone that's disrespect.)
- Instead of indulging in haram forms of entertainment, be grateful for the blessings and increase your good deeds. Being busy in entertainment (movies, dramas, music, mehndi ceremonies that involve singing and dancing, birthdays, baby showers and what have you) shows you have too much free time available on your hand.
If you have time, why not use it in worship, earning Halal so that you can do more sadaqah, gaining knowledge so that your Ibadah would improve and you get closer to Allah SWT?
➖Imagine reading your record (Book of Deeds) on the Day of Judgment.
- How many missed prayers?
- How many missed fasts that we never bothered to make up? -How many sins of the tongue? Rude comments? - Little zakat? Little sadaqah? No Zakat? No sadaqah?
Are you eager to read it?. So what are we doing RIGHT NOW?
➖Read the Qur'an at Fajr time - in the prayer and outside prayer because Allah SWT says:
"Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed." (17:78)
Recite a longer Surah in Fajr prayer. If you have developed the habit of Tahajjud, do not leave it after Ramadan.
- DU'A TO MAKE WHEN ENTERING A NEW CITY, A NEW JOB, BRIDE MOVING TO HUSBAND'S
HOME
"My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority." (17:80)
- Do not go through the Qur'an in speed. It was revealed over a period of 23 years - a prolonged period. It was sent down progressively.
"And [it is] a Qur'an which We have separated [by intervals] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively." (17:106)
➖Two words
1. The Qur'an was revealed over a period of 23 years and not in one night or one year. It means we should go slow with the Qur'an when studying the meaning.
It also means stay connected with the Qur'an for your entire life like Rasoolullah SA.
2. One command at a time. We too should implement one command at a time and to gradually progress in Deen.
Not staying at an average level despite being born in a Muslim home. Progress in Deen I as you compete to progress in Dunya.
- Those who have knowledge of the Qur'an, they cry when reading its Ayaat and fall down in prostration. Are we among them? If not, then this is a sign that our hearts have become hard.
➖SURAH AL-KAHF
- We find the virtues of memorizing Surah Al-Kahf in Ahadith:
"Whoever memorizes the ten beginning ayaat of Surah al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal." (Muslim)
"Whoever memorizes the ten ending ayaat of Surah al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal. [Abu Daw'oud]
- Dunya has been beautified for us to test who among us is the best in good deeds. Become an ascetic
- When you feel you are alone and everyone is against you because of your emaan then recite this du'a:
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا
"Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance." (18:10)
- When we leave something (haram) for the sake of Allah SWT, His mercy descends on us and our tasks become easy. If our provision is restricted or life becomes difficult for us then we should look at the haram or disobedience that we are indulged in.
- Do not ask unnecessary questions in Deen especially when there is no benefit in knowing them (such as the number of the young men in the cave)
- When you decide to do a matter then say: In sha Allah (if Allah wills)
- Do not seek Fatwa from the people who lack knowledge and do not fear Allah SWT
- If you suffer from forgetfulness, then increase your Thikr of Allah SWT
- Stick with the people who remember Allah SWT a lot - they will only guide you to the best
- Do not follow/admire someone who has forgotten Allah SWT and is lost in Dunya
- Wealth and children are the adornments of this world - do not get too busy with them. The Lenduring good deeds are better.

What is Mehndi? Mehndi is a form of body art originating from the Indian subcontinent, in which decorative designs are created on the skin using a paste made from the powdered dry leaves of the henna plant. The word mehndi is derived from Hindi, and means “to color” or “to paint”. Mehndi is typically applied during weddings and festivals.
The use of mehndi is mentioned in the earliest Hindu Vedic texts. It was originally used for only women’s hands and feet, but has since spread to include men and children as well. Mehndi is often applied in intricate designs on the palms and feet, where the natural warmth of the body helps release the dye from the paste. Mehndi designs can be simple or complex, and can range from floral and geometric patterns to pictorial representations of deities or animals.
Some believe that applying mehndi can bring good luck and fortune. In India, it is common for women to apply mehndi before festivals and special occasions such as weddings. Traditionally, the Mehndi Sangeet takes place a few days before the wedding, but it can also be held on the same day as the wedding. It is usually followed by a Haldi ceremony, in which turmeric paste is applied to the skin of the bride and groom to bless them with good health and prosperity.

My True Story
Tumblr media
I was born in a lower middle class family. My grandfather migrated from interior Sindh to Karachi in late seventy. He had some ancestral land, which he sold and bought a 3 room flat in the heart of the city.
Whereas, he started a mini cloth shop to run the bread and butter of the home.
Before he could establish his new business, just after a year of his migration, he got a cardiac arrest and could not succumb.
As my father was the only child of my grandfather. At that time he just completed his matriculation. He tried to take over o
my grandfather’s business. However, within two years he gave all the shop to borrowers. As he was a teenager, he had no experience in business. Now my father has had only the earnings of grandpa i.e one flat.
My father and my grandma were in tension over how to earn the bread and butter. In that time of hardship, my maternal uncle came forward and helped my father to get enrolled in the education department as a junior school teacher. My grandma thanked God that now they had some arrangements for daily meals.
The time was going on. After a few years of my father's job, grandma decided to marry my father. For this she selected her niece. My father accepted his mother’s decision and married my maternal uncle’s daughter.
The day nights were passing like a dream. After fifteen years of my parents' marriage, they have 5 daughters and 2 sons. My number is third in sisters. Whereas, my both brothers are little from us.
With the passage of time my father’s income decreased. Whereas, the expenses raised manifolds. As my mother was a typical housewife, he had no contribution to the household economy. On the other hand my father had only a 14 scale government teacher job, which was insufficient for 9 members of the family. Out of which all the children were school going.
As we were growing, we were becoming a source of worry for our parents. Because they had very few income resources. My two older sisters completed matriculation at the same time.
My parents decided to send only one girl to the college on a regular basis. Whereas the other one will do a private FA. Therefore, my oldest sister sat at home and the little one joined the government college for FSc in biology.
Now it was a worrying situation for me. At that time I was reading in ninth class. My dream was to become a software engineer. But my father's pocket was not permitting me to do that.
I decided to do something myself. So I can contribute not only to the bread and butter of my home but also to make my dream practical.
In this regard I started searching for some kind of work that I can do after school time. At the same time I was also consulting with my friends and classmates. One of my friends advised me to learn some beauty parlor work. She also told me that her aunty (Khala) has a nice beauty parlor in the Gulshan area. Which was a few km away from home, so I can easily manage the outback. I liked the idea and decided to get permission from my parents. But getting permission was not an easy task. So I involved my older sister Mehwish in the plan, and requested her to seek permission for me.
One day after the dinner, checking the mood of my parents, my sister Mehwish told my parents that Anmol wanted to join a parlor. On this my father showed a strict reaction and said there is no need for this, and went to the bedroom.
After a few days we requested again, and that day my mother also supported us. Finally my father agreed on one condition that I and Mehwish can both join the parlor. Initially Mehwish was not interested, but after my insistence she surrendered.
Now the day has come, my friend was at our home to take us to the sad parlor. After walking for half an hour, we reached the said parlor. My friend’s aunty was a quite aged woman. She offered us the chairs, and asked whether we had any ideas about parlor work. We both replied that we are unaware about this work like a plain paper. However, she didn't mind as we went their with our friend. After serving us tea, she asked us to check all the parlor work and select the job you have to do. After seeing the girls who were already working there I have decided to learn Mehndi design or Henna design work. As I had good grip on drawing work. Whereas, my sister Mehwish chose to learn hair cutting work, because she loves the hairs.
After choosing our jobs, the parlor owner asked us to learn these jobs for at least three months, for that she will never pay us a penny. We both agreed on the terms and came home.
Next day after school I came home, after finishing my lunch hurriedly, we both arrived at the parlor.
In the Henna design section Iqra was my teacher, from whom I had to learn stylish mehndi designs. On the first day my teacher taught me how to grip a Henna cone. It was quite interesting for me to draw rough mehandi lines on a plain paper.
On the next day she gave some kids mehndi design patterns, and asked me to rehearsal on these designs. I was putting my whole heart into learning these as soon as possible. So I can help out my father with my monthly income. On the other hand, my sister was also working hard to learn something.
Due to my hard work and passion I start making simple mehndi designs in just one month. The parlor owner appreciated me and asked me to draw kids mehndi designs on a regular basis.
Now I have become an associate henna artis besides my teacher Iqra. Whenever a kid comes to the parlor with mother, I start making beautiful mehndi designs on their hands free of cost. It was a passion and keen interest which was forcing me to do such things. Many mothers gives me some money as a tip while leaving. Now I was able to bear my monthly personal expenses.
After three months the parlor owner came to us and asked that now you both have ample knowledge about your work. So from now I will pay you rupees ten thousand per month each and besides this I will also give ten percent as commission to each customer you will serve. She also advised me to learn some advanced designs like Arabic Mehndi Design. I promised her that I will learn every advance of Henna Mehndi designs.
On the way back home we both sisters were very happy. When we told this news to our parents they became very happy. My mother was very happy, like flying in the sky. As she knows that the extra income will help her to bear the additional expenses of house. Whereas she will also be able to make some drowery for her girls.
Life was passing very fast, as our hard days went off. After one year my mother has ample money. So she decided to marry my sister with his nephew who was working in a microfinance bank as a loan officer. My sister also liked that guy. So reaching upon the agreement both families decided to keep the marriage ceremony just after Eid.
We all sisters and brothers were very happy as my sister was going to be married. On the eve of Eid we all had new clothes, on Chand Raat I made beautiful Eid mehndi designs on all my sister’s hands.
On the same day, my father and mother were busy preparing for my sisters wedding. As they had fixed the wedding ceremony on the third day of Eid. My father booked a lighting arrangements service for whole week. A day before the wedding I had drawn some amazing bridal mehndi designs on my sister's hand. That was the first time I had draw any Mehndi designs for a bride. By the grace of Allah the marriage passed well. All the arrangements were very good. Everybody on the wedding were admiring us, specially my Dulhan Mehndi designs was also being liked.
After Mehwish’s wedding I rejoined my work alone. Mehwish's husband stopped her from doing any work.
On the other hand I was continuing to learn the latest mehndi designs coming into the market. For this I was using many online platforms like instagram, facebook and youtube etc to know the new trends in the field of Henna designs. This thing helped me to learn new and modern styles like Indian Mehndi Designs, Western Henna Tattoos and Arabic Henna Designs and other kind of mehndi ke design famous in the field.
It was a hot summer day, I was in college's library, when our college watchman came their in search of me and told that the principal is calling for me. I went hurriedly in principal's office, as soon as I entered she told me that my father has met an accident while he was coming from his duty now he is in ICU of city's major hospital. It was thunder like news for me, I ran from the principal's office in hesitation. Picking an auto rickshaw from the gate and reaching the hospital. When I reached the ICU I saw my mother, my little sisters and brothers were crying. Yes my father was no more with us. This was a heavy shock for all family members. I was feeling like I lost everything.
After the funeral of my father, everyone was talking that how will we survive. My sister Mehwish and brother-in-law have their own expenses. So they could not bear any other expenditures. My father has only monthly pay as an income, so after his death it will have to stope. Whereas, his pension and gratuity case was taking long to finalize. I was earning almost 25K per month, which was not enough for a family whose 90 percent members were school going. So I requested my parlor owner to increase my salary so I can cover the house expenses, but she replied that it is not possible now.
After a few months I decided to set up my own business of Henna designs. But I had not have enough money to set up any new business in a city like Karachi. In this regard I sought help from my brother-in-law as he was serving in a microfinance bank. He helped me to take an ample loan for opening up my own Mehndi design parlor. I selected a location for the parlor, which was nearby to my house.
Finally the day came when I inaugurated my own business. To meet the future requirements I took my little sister with me so she can learn the Mehndi art. First day I received only one order for full mehndi design. I charge rupees 2000 for my first project. I was very happy about that, because now no one will take a big share of my hard work.
As I introduced so many new mehndi designs myself. Thus the demand of my parlor was raising day by day
In 2019 I earned a lot of money during the wedding season, as I received many orders for Dulhan Mehndi designs.
I was inventing new mehndi designs in the field of body art with every passing day. So I have been booking a wedding for many days, and here girls demand to print some beautiful hand & foot mehndi designs. Therefore, I repaid my bank loan within one year, which was quite an amazing experience for bank staff too.
I have also bought a beautiful house in a posh area, where I am living with my family, cool and calm. My little brothers and sisters are reading in good schools. I am also doing my graduation degree from a well known University.
To promote my mehndi art I have made my own website. Where I place beautiful back hand mehndi designs and front hand mehndi designs. I have also made my own social media accounts, so people can know more and more about my business.
So this is my own motivational story for those who want to become something in life. At the end I will suggest you do not lose hope when something hard comes in life. If our Allah close a door, definitely he opens many new doors for us.

How you met: Shay x Death Doula! Reader
Info on the reader's profession: A Death Doula is a person who assists in the dying process, unlike a regular doula who offer assistance for women in labor, Death Doula's deal with well... death! But they don't deal exclusively with just children, they were like an early version of grief counselors mixed with hospice nurse and funeral director all rolled into one package, their service list would include: Giving emotional, social and Psychological support, creating death plans, helping with funeral and memorial planning, and guiding mourners to their rights and responsibilities.
===================================
Shay was assigned by Haytham to investigate the rumor that a previous dead member was apparently alive and well. They were dismissed as just so... until, Thomas Hickey appeared before the grand master claiming to have seen the man, a one Robert Bancroft a former banker and tradesman wandering the New York market district, now that wouldn't be strange except Robert had dead for three months now! And what's more, apparently the late Mr. Bancroft has also gone on to calling himself Philip McCray not much info on that name though.
Haytham sent Shay to figure out this mystery, To start him off the grand master directed the former assassin to the home of an Undertaker: Father's name [l/n] seems there been a disturbance at his place of business that might just give them a lead to this mystery.
Shay was wary at approaching the large manor-like funeral home he heard whispers and accusations of the undertaker being a demon butcher who cut up bodies and ate their livers, others that he'd chop the limbs off and sew them to other bodies and used dark arts on them. Though Mr. Franklin who was an old friend of Mr. L/n assured Shay that those rumors were hogwash; what the experiments undertaker does with the deceased was simply a misunderstood science that will one day change the way everyone looks at life and death.
That didn't do much to calm the Irishman's nerves as the smell of Incense invaded his nose the closer he got closer the the mortuary, Shy paused for a moment to admire the birdcage shaped censers hanging by the door he thought them they were lanterns, but duty calls Shay walked inside where smell of lavender potpourri lingered in the air and the sound of arguing invaded his ears Shay followed where the voices were coming from and found himself in a large sitting room, where a y/ht y/hc woman in a black and purple dress around his age was arguing with older man.
"Well someone has to do something about this, The man's wife thinks we're hiding him!"
"I said no! No interrogations, no investigations, no bloody mystery solving! This will blow over soon."
"Yes and meantime Mr.Cray's wife is telling everyone under the sun, about how I'm some husband stealing harlot, While at the same time some ne'er-do-well going around pretending to the man!"
"The woman is grieving Y/n, you've been trained to recognize such delusions, she saw him die, their friend saw him die and...and..."
The man's voice trailed off finally noticing Shay watching them, he straightened himself up and cleared his throat, while the woman whip her head around to see what got his attention."Oh, a customer, Y/n go make some tea for... um" The Templar held his hand out. "Shay Cormac, and that won't be necessary... I'm here regarding a break-in three months ago?" the undertaker looked uncomfortable as he look at Y/n who this knowing smirk on her face.
“Yes we.. Well my daughter's office was broken into..." He led Shay to back of the manor to Y/n's office now that the Irishman could get a good look at her noting some resemblance between her and the undertaker they both had the same eye/hair color, they got to the office as Y/n spoke up as the assassin hunter looked around.
Soon Mr. L/n left and Y/n took over "Thieves weren't after any trinkets or valuables." She directed him to a large row of cabinets with a broken locks, "they were only after papers & records of the recently deceased, and was very careful at who he was selecting." She showed him an old file with details of that person's life. {Identification papers, birthplace place and cause of death etc.] and sketches of the deceased persons face she explained they used them for an "in case" scenario of multiple funerals in one day and if the families have the same or similar sounding names.
"Here's the man whose papers were stolen" she said handing the Templar the sketch he took out a small painting of Bancroft and compared the two "This is very well done." Shay commented taking in the sketch's detail right down to the scars and birthmarks. "Uh, thank you?" Y/n said incredulously not used to hearing her work be complimented especially from a man, Shay wasn't joking when he said it was good this McCray could be Bancroft's twin, Except...
Shay checked the death record McCray had black hair, Bancroft was blond, his first thought was a wig but the way Hickey had described the bloke his hair looked too natural to be a wig, nor did it look like soot and grease as Lee had suggested, was he using ink? his dark eyes glance over at a Y/n  looking out the window shaking her head at something.
"Is there way darken one's hair color, without wigs or ink?" the assassin hunter asked not being familiar with cosmetics, Y/n cocked a brow as she thought. "Yes through henna and katam." Shay gave her a confused look Y/n sighed and took off her gloves and pulled up her sleeve to reveal a very impressive tattoo on her hand.
Shay took her hand her to get a better look, if it wasn't fading he'd almost mistaken another glove, the lotus design was delicate the way the ink ringed around her fingers like lace was almost fairy-like. "This is mehndi art made with henna it's a type of dye made from tree dyes from India, it can also be used to change hair color...if mix with the right components." She explained the as the Irish man flipped her hand over to stare at the moon design on her wrist.
"How long does this usually last for?" He asked giving her hand back. "Well depending on type and quality three weeks? applying oils is a good way to extend it." Y/n stated as she put her gloves back on. *who'd thought that wedding tribute for my friend in India would come in handy?* She thought not noticing Shay's attention suddenly shifted to the window, in a split second the large man suddenly yanked Y/n towards him using his body to shield her from her window exploding; glass shards flew everywhere as rocks were thrown through the window!
Followed by a woman screaming "PHILIP KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE!?" then there was some struggling Shay pulled away from Y/n the two went the window to see what happened, the Irishman kept her behind him just in case. as they watched a hysterical woman throwing rocks at the funeral home, as a man and two women and adolescent boy struggled to control her.
"PHILIP COME OUT!" The man finally got a hold of her. "Stop this right now Sarah, Philip is dead!" the Sarah shook her head not believing him as the women pleaded with her to listen to her brother, she gasped seeing Y/n and Shay watching her "GIVE HIM BACK YOU WHORE!?!?" Sarah screeched ready to throw a another rock as her brother dragged her away.
the boy walked over over to the shattered window. "I...I'm sorry for my mother Miss Y/n, My aunt says they'll pay for the window..." The y/hc woman the boy off. "Don't worry about it I know it's not your mother's fault." She assured as they watched his aunts and uncle load his mother into a carriage. the boy then looked around making sure his mother couldn't hear.
"Is it true?"
"Absolutely not, I'm not hiding your father..."
"No, not that I know fathers gone, I meant...I heard things about you being able to speak to the dead, solving murders?"
"I don't speak to dead, I speak for the dead and I swear on your father's resting soul, I will find out whose behind this and bring peace to your mother."
The boy thanked her and went to join his family, Y/n winced hears Mrs. McCray scream at the top of her lungs "I WON'T LET YOU HAVE MY BOY!?" before being restrained by her sisters-in law as her brother shook his head clearly at loss and tired of his sister fits, as they rode away...
"Speak for the dead, eh?" Shay queried sounding amused and intrigued as Y/n averted her eyes embarrassed /face red from embarrassment as she thought he'd gone to find her father once Mrs. McCray was whisked away, "Well being a death doula, that is what I do in a way..." they were suddenly interrupted by her father entering the study, wooden planks under one arm hammer and nails in the other "Except most death doulas don't go on path of Derring-do just because they think someones a killer." Y/n looked offended at her father's words.
"Well I wasn't wrong before!" she huffed agitating her father more. "Stay out of it." he warned boarding her window up, he then turned to their visitor. "And you've got your evidence Cormac, Now I suggest you take you leave." Shay bid the last name's farewell, but before he reached the door he was stopped by Y/n grabbing his arm "Mr. Cormac, when you find this man." She made her father wasn't listening; he'd blow a gasket if he found out she was meddling.
"If possible I would like you to return him here," Shay's brows furrowed at this request, "Here, why?" he asked confused over why she would want the thief whose caused her so much disarray in her house. "I think it might help if Mrs. McCray saw "Philip" for herself." Irishman nodded seemly understanding what the y/nat woman was planning. "I'll see if can keep him in one piece." He noted Y/n hadn't let go of his arm. "Is there something else you wanted" The y/ht woman fidgeted for a moment.
"Erm...Yes, if it doesn't trouble you, perhaps I could help you again?" Shay blinked wondering if he heard right? meanwhile Y/n inner thoughts were going haywire. "You idiot, why would you ask him? no man wants the creepy undertaker’s daughter especially someone as handsome as-" Shay's broke through her pity party. "That wouldn't trouble me at all." Y/n up at Shay who looked equally startled by his words.
Cue an awkward starring contest before Y/n realized she was still holding his arm, letting him go the y/hc shyly averted her eyes to the floor/cheeks went pink, Shay was thankful for that she couldn't see the tips of his ears were red, he calmed himself before walking out of the funeral home. "I'll see you again." he promised before heading back to Haytham with his findings.

June 2nd is the second day of USA Pride and highlights the beautifully sapphic lesbian community. I️ve done my best to highlight and make this cast as diverse as possible while also trying to broaden my own horizons and educate myself.
In this AU, Parvati and Padma Patil are of the Hindi religion, and they participate in the traditional body artistry of mehndi and henna tattoos. While primarily used in wedding ceremonies, henna can be applied for other occasions and each design has a specific meaning and significance to them, as does the placement. Parvati has henna vines along her feet, as the feet are the one way to connect the body and earth, and vibes symbolize longevity, perseverance and vitality- of which are important in long lasting relationships. The non-crescent moon on her hand symbolizes the positive power of change, as well as protection and health. The reason it’s not as crescent moon, is because crescents indicate a new baby on the way, which is something that these girls don’t need at the moment. Finally, the lotus holds many virtues such as creativity, Grace, femininity, beauty and many more. Both the moon and lotus are on her hands to strengthen the protections applied.
Lavender mostly identifies as a lipstick lesbian and she also bought a fluffy white kitten to coparent with Parvati. They will most likely adopt children, rather than have their own via surrogate. Lavender has one request in their relationship and it’s that wherever Parvati goes, she is allowed to follow, and that has been their ticket to happiness thus far.
As for the second Slytherin, Pansy is the last of the primary Slytherin trio to have gotten her Gryffindor. With Hermione’s extremely tight schedule and lack of a social life, it was hard to find time to spend with her, but once she made her intentions clear to Hermione’s “brothers”- Harry and Ron, they moved to help push Hermione towards Pansy, to help them develope a real friendships first. Hermione requires a bond before she can rationalize a relationship, so it took the better half of a year before she admitted her feelings to Pansy and agreed to take it slow with their relationship. It was another two months before they came out to their friends and Pansy was 100% supportive of it and still continually supports Hermione finding herself. It doesn’t stop Pansy from bragging about her amazingly smart and wonderful girlfriend.

45+ Easy and Trending Beautiful Mehndi Designs For All Occassions
How To Get The Most Out Of Mehndi Design: Things You Should Know.
Mehndi, the traditional Indian art of Henna body art, is growing in popularity. This ancient tradition used to be reserved for weddings and other celebratory events, but has become a popular form of self- expression for both men and women. From its origins in India to its place in modern society, here are some ideas on how to get the most out of Mehndi Design: Things You Should Know.
  What is Mehndi Design?
Mehndi is the traditional Indian art of Henna body art. It was originally reserved for weddings and other celebratory events, but it has become a popular form of self-expression for both men and women.
The word "mehndi" can be translated as "henna." Henna is actually the name of the flowering plant that gives the dye that colors mehndi designs.
  Origin and History of Mehndi
The roots of Mehndi Design can be traced back to ancient India. To this day, some people think Mehndi is only for special occasions like weddings and religious ceremonies. But its popularity has grown in recent years; you'll find casual Mehndi enthusiasts who use it for both aesthetic and therapeutic purposes.
The word "mehndi" comes from the Hindi word "henna," which refers to the henna plant. The plant's leaves are ground into a paste, mixed with lemon juice, and applied on the skin to create intricate patterns.
Mehndi has been around for centuries, but is becoming more popular in Western culture due to its unique appearance and benefits.
  Mehndi in Modern Society
Shimmery, vibrant colors are what most people think of when they hear the word "mehndi." It's traditionally worn by Indian women, but it's gaining in popularity among men in the United States.
It's becoming popular in modern society because it's a very safe form of tattoo—it doesn't involve any needles or permanent commitment. Plus, it has a rich cultural tradition that anyone can enjoy.
There are lots of ways to get into mehndi design. From the traditional henna paste made from ground leaves and flowers to modern skin care products that offer temporary mehndi-like color, there are many options for you!
  Types of Art
Mehndi is an art form that originated in India. The word Mehndi means "decorating with henna." It's often called the "art of beauty."
There are two main types of Mehndi:
-  Henna Design
 -  Arabic
What to Do if You Don't Know What To Do
If you're interested in Mehndi, but feel insecure about designing your own Mehndi design, there are a number of different avenues you can explore.
  Hire a professional
While this may seem like the most expensive option out of the three listed, it does have its advantages. Professional Mehndi artists have experience painting designs at all skill levels. They have created intricate Mehndi designs for brides to more basic ones for children's birthday parties. If you hire a professional, they will be able to recommend which design is best suited for your event, skill level, and preferred style.
Join a class
Mehndi is not just an art form that involves paint on palms and feet. There are many other forms of Mehndi artistry that one can try their hand at including henna tattoos, mehndi lace work, and mehndi sculpture art among them! While classes are typically more expensive than hiring a professional artist to do the job for you, they provide another outlet for creativity through Mehndi. You get to play around with new designs while learning from experts in the field!
  DIY
The cheapest option of the three listed here is DIY! All you need are
  Conclusion
Mehndi Design is a form of body art originating in the Indian subcontinent. It is typically applied on women for cosmetic purposes, but can also be worn by men. Mehndi is thought to have originated in Ancient India, but it has become popular throughout the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, North Africa, and the Horn of Africa. The design can be elaborate and time consuming to apply.

How Bollywood Movies Inspire Weddings? - WMI
No wonder Bollywood inspires weddings not only in India but people all over the world. For many years, it has been a true source of inspiration. Bollywood movies have it all: drama, euphoric songs, dance, fabulous costumes, opulent décor, never-ending ceremonies, full entertainment, and a splash of colour.
Brides and grooms taking inspiration from Bollywood movies is a known fact, be it their designer lehengas or sherwani, jewellery or accessories, everyone wants to recreate their favourite actors look. Bollywood has no doubt been setting the trends for brides and grooms for years now. Remember Aishwarya Rai’s jewellery in Jodha Akbar which became overnight rage or Anushka Sharma’s lehenga in Ae Dil hai Muskhil designed by Manish Malhotra and for boys Ranbir Kapoor’s sequence kurta in” Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani”.
Recently Bollywood movies have not been just inspiring the looks but also celebrations at weddings. Be it the rituals, exotic locations, dance performances, bachelor/bachelorette parties, themes, and sets. Remember the game of  Antakshri from Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, everyone wanted to do that at their weddings at that time.  After Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara the trend for bachelor's trips increased drastically. And how can you forget the beautiful temple wedding in the last scene of 2 States?
Not just weddings, Bollywood has been inspiring people to celebrate their landmark occasions like Anniversaries Bollywood style. Remember Dil Dhakadne Do!!
So let us take you back to these 10 amazing Bollywood films inspired by celebrations, grab your tub of buttered popcorn and have an amazing time watching these. Meanwhile don’t forget to take note of some ideas for the upcoming wedding season too!
