Sooraj Pancholi has debuted about four years ago with the movie Hero alongside Athiya Shetty. Following to a long gap, he is coming with his second movie and it comes with the title Satellite Shankar. In this movie, Sooraj Pancholi is playing the role of an army officer. Trailer of the movie has been revealed recently. Sooraj seems like happy-go-lucky person here and he is favored by his troupe on most occasions. Interestingly, Sooraj keeps a figurine of Lord Shiva with him wherever he goes.

In the movie, he is going to travel from his army base in Kashmir to his hometown Pollachi. Shooting for the movie has been done in 10 different places which includes Himachal Pradesh and also Agra. Through the trailer, you may able to get a sneak peek of the Megha Akash also who is playing the female lead. She is making her Bollywood debut through this movie. Satellite Shankar is a movie which will show how a soldier can unify an entire country. In the same time, he is on the way of self discovery.

Irfan Kamal is the director of the movie Satellite Shankar while it has been produced by Ashwin Varde, SCIPL and Murad Khetani. Regarding the movie, Sooraj has said “I have always wanted to play a soldier in a classic war or an action film. But this is not a war film, it’s not an action film, it’s a drama. The movie is about the life of every soldier – of what they see and feel in personal life.”

Later on, Sooraj has added “It’s not about a soldier’s life at the base camp. It is about a soldier, who is on leave and is going to meet his mother. It’s what he faces through the journey while travelling through India. So, it is looking at India from a soldier’s point of view.”

Release of the movie is scheduled on 15th November, 2018.

Megha Akash signs a love story - The actress has been roped in to act opposite Shiva Kandukuri in his next film, titled Manu Charitra. Producer Raj Kandukuri’s son Shiva Kandukuri happens to have launched his second film even before the release of his debut project. Top actress Kajal Aggarwal graced the film’s launch as its chief guest. Reportedly, Kajal’s manager Ronnson will be co-producing the movie (along with Srinivas), and Kajal will be presenting the film. Titled Manu Charitra, the movie is going to be P. Bharath Kumar’s debut directorial. Interestingly, Megha Akash, who went out of sight for a long time after her two Telugu films, has been roped in to play the female lead role in the forthcoming romantic entertainer.
