Inspired from the simple idea that one of my Greek friends, @/konstantinos_palamidas on Instagram recommended to me of “the god of war, Ares in a modern swimsuit wearing his helmet at the same time, while Aphrodite has the ancient haircut and jewels wearing that iconic golden bikini”

Also this one below here is for @mcsiggy ’s modern-day Aphrodite as a gift to them, because I have been enamored with their version of the goddess for a long time and finally put my thoughts and ideas into it. (Moschino dress from Spring Summer 2022 collection; designed by Jeremy Scott with a few pearl necklaces + Chanel shell bag, here we go!!!) I actually thinking beside their fits compliment each other; our versions of goddesses of love would also get along very well like white pearls and Tahitian black pearls; because beauty, passion, desire and love never discriminate.

Mcsiggy actually made a comic about they myth of Ariadne and Dionysus first meeting each other, it's super sweet!

i saw it, but didnt it end pretty tragic at the end and thats all? it was nice but..

tbh my brain is making up a version pretty differenly and its not as "sweet" but also not ending with simple death of Ariadne as well sooo *shrugs*

I just couldnt get off my head the idea to do this. I just stumbled across the comic and since i've been quite invested on it, I thought some good ol fanart to hype it up wouldn't be a bad idea! Kept most of the original color scheme except for some adjustements :3

The comic, story and designs are made by @mcsiggy (Their art is so unique, give em a shot if you enjoy mythology and other sillyness!)

Lil note for the comic author: I didn't want to use the original "Evoe comic" and "Evoe" tags so I didn't clog up where you host your og work! I made an "Evoe fanart" tag instead! ^^

As a side note I realized the covers are Episodes 2-3 instead of 1-2, forgot the chapter where Ariadne has a nightmare, If i get some more free time I'll definitely do it! (And hope I dont butcher the minotauress(?) Ari, I gotta improve at drawing bovines so BAD)
