La città è sorprendente vista dall’alto delle montagne, ma lo è anche dalla sommità delle sue torri: quest’estate cittadini e turisti potranno ammirare non solo il verde panorama del Monte Bondone, ma anche la bellezza del centro storico in compagnia del conte Matteo Thun. Da venerdì 7 luglio a domenica 3 settembre, con nuovi orari dedicati al periodo estivo, torna a Cappella Vantini il progetto di realtà virtuale, un insolito tour che va dalle stanze di palazzo Thun fin dentro le mura di Torre Civica, Torre Vanga e Torre della Tromba. La Cappella sarà aperta da martedì a giovedì dalle ore 17 alle ore 21, mentre il venerdì, sabato e domenica dalle ore 16 alle ore 22, con chiusura il lunedì. Il progetto, un “tesoro” appezzato da residenti e turisti, si inserisce all’interno del percorso di valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale perseguito dall’Amministrazione, che in questa esperienza ha voluto non solo unire la meraviglia artistico-architettonica dei secoli passati alle più moderne tecnologie, ma permettere la fruizione di luoghi di interesse culturale difficilmente o per nulla agibili. Ingresso gratuito. La fruizione è sconsigliata ai minori di otto anni e a persone con deficit sensoriali. Bertrand Lejoly – Pragmatism and passion

Bertrand Lejoly (born 1980) grew up in the Eastern part of Belgium, at the junction of the German and French culture. After studying at the École supérieure des arts Saint-Luc in Liège, he gained his first work experience as an industrial designer in Germany. He then went to Milan for seven years to collaborate with Matteo Thun. In 2013 he became Head of Product Design with the Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen. In 2018 Bertrand Lejoly started his own design studio in Antwerp. For his design work, he can draw on his many years of experience as a designer for architecture and design studios and use his profound understanding of architecture and interior design to create the entire interior design for major brands: furniture, lighting, sanitary and tableware products.

Bertrand Lejoly describes his own style as ‘refined simplicity’. His objects walk the boundary between an expressive yet subtle design language. This balance is also reflected in how well his objects fit in their surrounding space. He especially likes to play with elements that engraved in the collective memory to create timeless items for everyday use. For Duravit, Bertrand Lejoly designed the new series D-Neo, consisting of ceramics, bathroom furniture, tubs and faucets.
