If everyone is a photographer, what does it mean to be a photographer today?

Being a photographer is not that easy nowadays. All people can capture their friend by their phone and an infinite number of pictures are taken every year, but BEING a photographer is totally different.  Although many people can buy cameras, not everyone can be called a “Photographer”. It is hard to do their work. A lot of work is required from the photographers in order to get a perfect picture. As we saw in the video, they were capturing in very cold conditions. It was said by the person who was speaking: “All of this activity, for a single photograph.” Photographers main aim is to shot a “perfect moment” as mentioned by the photographer Gregory Crewdson. After watching the video, I understood that, everyone is a photographer as we can see things differently and analyze them differently too. the main problem is that to succeed, you have to make a lot of effort. Bids put on photographs is not simple. Professional photographers only are the ones who can make their photos being bid on. Specific Criteria should be followed in order to be a photographer, as mentioned by “ Michael Mathews” a collector. It means a lot to be a photographer. A lot of work should be done, like we saw in the video. Some arts and snapshots reach two million six hundred thousands. This is what a successful photograph explains. To make your photography have many bidders and they can pay more and more money to have this piece of art. “Being a photographer nowadays is being able to combine several details and find the final composition” this was mentioned by Gurski at the end of the program. Being a photographer nowadays means that you are creating a business to yourself. You are trying to being reached by all people after working a lot alone by yourself in order to be known by people.  It takes photographers nowadays a lot of work and time to produce what they want. nowadays, it is hard to be a photographer and it means a lot. One of the reason behind that is technology. Photographers will start combining their creative pictures with the technology and having a great art in order to be liked by people. Photographers should start being very creative in order to grab attention and that is not easy. It needs a lot of time. Photography is interesting, but it is not that easy.
