MasterDEX Rolls Out Most Awaited Airdrop for $MDEX Tokens
In a landmark move, MasterDEX has unveiled its much-anticipated “First Loyalty Package”, marking its inaugural airdrop designed to foster community cohesion and reward its dedicated members. This program is meticulously tailored for the LCX Community, with holders of LCX tokens being on the receiving end of $MDEX tokens. $MDEX is destined to serve as the quintessential ecosystem utility token, pivotal to the operations of MasterDEX. An initial minting of 300 million $MDEX is set at genesis, with a structured release over a 5-year timeline. A notable 51% of the total tokens, translating to 153,000,000 $MDEX (153 million $MDEX), are allocated for the community’s benefit. The First Loyalty Package is allocated 17% of the total supply, amounting to a substantial 51,000,000 $MDEX tokens (51 million $MDEX).
The eligibility criteria for this exclusive Loyalty Package are clear and concise. LCX token holders, as of 10th October 2023, are earmarked to benefit from this airdrop. The holdings can be in a non-custodial wallet or directly on the LCX platform, which is also spearheading the distribution of $MDEX tokens to all eligible LCX token holders.
As per the official announcement, the distribution of $MDEX tokens is slated for 12th December 2023. On this milestone date, the Community Allocation will be available for claim, in line with the vesting schedules attributed to each allocation. MasterDEX’s ambition transcends mere distribution; it is eyeing a synchronized listing of $MDEX on a variety of centralized and decentralized exchanges on the distribution day. This initiative is in concert with several ecosystem partners and market makers to ensure a seamless listing on multiple trading venues immediately following the distribution.
The distribution mechanism is orchestrated to be conducted on-chain, wherein all eligible LCX token holders will receive $MDEX tokens as rewards on a pro-rata basis, in harmony with the token economics.
Here’s a delineation of how to qualify and claim your $MDEX tokens:
● Eligibility: Retain LCX tokens on or before 10/10/2023 in a non-custodial wallet or on the LCX platform. It’s crucial to note that currently, other centralized platforms like Coinbase and Kraken are not supporting this Airdrop, although dialogues are ongoing to secure their support.
● Claiming $MDEX Tokens:
● For LCX token holders on the LCX platform: On 12/12/2023, $MDEX tokens will automatically materialize in your main wallet, with no further actions required.
● For LCX token holders at Non-Custodial Wallets: Users are necessitated to visit the claim page at MasterDEX.xyz on or after 12/12/2023 to receive their $MDEX tokens on-chain, pro-rata in alignment with the token economics.
To mitigate the risk of scams or phishing endeavors, holders are urged to ensure they are connecting their wallets exclusively to https://masterdex.xyz/ and to remain vigilant against any fraudulent or cloned websites.
Additionally, MasterDEX has engineered an $MDEX airdrop calculator to illuminate the amount of $MDEX tokens one would receive. For instance, holding 0.1% of LCX tokens (950,000 LCX) would entitle you to 51,000 $MDEX. Further details about the Airdrop are expounded here.
This airdrop exemplifies MasterDEX’s unwavering commitment to cultivating a robust community and reciprocating the early supporters and believers of the LCX and MasterDEX ecosystem. Master Dex Challenge Gen VII Overview:
Gen VII took 4 weeks, overlapping with Gen VI (Week 42)
In the first graphic, the grey stats reflect the overall total. The Sun/Moon colored graphics reflect the weekly totals. Keep in mind, the reason the complete number is 117 is the challenge includes all gender variants and forme differences.
The second graphic lists the party members for Gen VII in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, complete with the levels at which they were transferred. This completed the Master Dex Challenge.
Highlights:
Last pokémon in the entire challenge was Silvally! Male Venusaur was the first.
I actually super wish they’d had some subtle gender differences again, but I know how much work that can be. I just think it would be neat.
I love Ultra Beasts. I would ADORE some sort of allusion to them in Gen VIII. I know it’s unlikely, but, like, just one pleasseesesseeeee maybe a mythical?
I shiny hunted Mewtwo and Guzzlord, got Mewtwo after 74 SR and Guzzlord after 4593 SR!!!!! *cries* not part of the challenge, but more of a cherry on top.
This was my first time using Wishiwashi. I liked it a lot, it was a really unsuspectingly powerful addition to my team. Helped me beat Kiawe.
Honestly, the only forms I had to hunt in Gen VII was Minior! Which wasn’t so bad.
This is one of the most consistent generations, where I completed about 30% of the pokédex each week until the last week!
I have NO SHAME in using the ultra beasts in my HoF! None!
I think until SWSH comes out I’m going to play Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask cause I’ve never played those, but severely need to.
I’m soooooo happy to tell you guys what’s co ming next! I’m going to set it up and write the blurb for it really soon!

Grim Fantasy and Brandon Sanderson
MasterDex: I love every book of yours I've read. However, I'm a sucker for grim, dark and/or mature fantasy tales (Malazan, Black Company, The First Law, etc). Have you ever considered going right down that route? Have you any stories that you think would fall into more mature/darker territory? Or do you feel that you have no need to go there? (obviously, Stormlight Archive has some quite dark and mature moments but not quite to the level of the aforementioned series)
If you're answer is No, could you explain why?
Brandon Sanderson: The Threnody novel, if I find time with it, would probably be the closest you'll see from me. I've read and enjoyed each of the authors you listed above, though my own writing tends to not lean that direction. One reason is that I tried (when trying to break in) to make my style more gritty to see, since GRRM-like was what everyone was searching for. It just didn't feel true to my own voice.

Master Dex Update Log:
Happy Halloween!!! It’s time for something REALLY scary! LARGE AMOUNTS OF LABOR TRANSPOSED INTO MORE-THAN-NECESSARY AMOUNTS OF DATA!!! OoOOoOOOOoooOO. In other words I successfully logged every one of my pokémon into a spreadsheet!

The reason I did this is because let’s say you were curious about a specific pokémon I caught during the challenge, well, now you’ll be able to check on that exact one! Why do you want this?? No idea! This spreadsheet also provides you with a (very) detailed log of my entire pokémon bank! Why!
Highlights:
You’ll notice that despite the fact Vivillon all have my OT, there’re a lot of OT IDs for Vivillon and that’s because there’re a number (not all) of the patterns you can achieve simply by restarting the game and changing the location.
I found that I caught 4 pokémon with notable IVs (5+ @ 31), all from the Virtual Console, where they’re naturally better anyway, 1 Event pokémon with notable IVs, and hatched 3 Vivillon eggs with notable IVs, likely bred so on purpose.
I caught pokérus two separate times, once in Platinum and once in one of my Y resets for Vivillon
I encountered 7 shiny pokémon. One of these is not on the spreadsheet, not because I failed it, but simply because I can’t find it! I thought it was in my Omega Ruby File, but my husband’s 80% sure he cleared that data... which... i’m totally fine with and not at all upset about whatsoever... bye Linoone... Among these is Elekid (Crystal Odd Egg), Gyarados (duh), Lombre, Swanna, Quagsire (ultra wormholes), and the one not on the sheet, Linoone (encountered normally! and promptly destroyed. RIP)
You’ll notice there’re some odd stats that may seem like discrepancies on the sheet, such as french pokémon with my OT, but that’s because my friend Clémy (@clemy-sensei) traded me some eggs and I hatched them and thought it would be cool to include them in the roster.
You’ll notice a great number of pokémon in my Non-MDC inventory that’re clearly MDC pokémon with the En OT name. This is because they were rare or I kept them but didn’t need them for the challenge because they were in the wrong region, so they’re not THE MDC pokémon. You’ll notice this too if you look at my MDC Party Members- a good example is my use of Magmortar in Ultra Sun.
Speaking of, that was the hardest part of this spreadsheet believe it or not, the team members section! Really happy with how that turned out.
Yes I really beat black with only Emboar. Yes it sucked. I only needed Reshiram and I think one of the forces of nature, so I pulled up a speedrun strat on YouTube and s u f f e r e d.
All of the MDC event pokémon are legit except the Japanese Shaymin COULD be fake (I have reason to believe it’s real, though) and the Pokéball Pattern Vivillon, I’m PRETTY SURE is a clone, but I’m also not certain.
Plans for next week:
I caught a shiny Mewtwo after only 74 SR last night!!!!! WHAT! I haven’t added them to the spreadsheet yet, but, neato. I named them Oz because like... the Emerald City... Green... anyway. Also got a Wormhole Shiny Drapion and Grumpig
Currently SR for Guzzlord, would be extra cool to catch them on Halloween!
I’m going to make a point to go ahead and create all of the generation overview posts and post them across this week. That way next week I can start some fun new stuffs.

Taking a second to tell you all the CRAZIEST experience!
Toward the beginning of the Master Dex Challenge I purchased a copy of Pokémon Ranger because I thought you could transfer the Manaphy egg from it still. Turns out, you can only transfer the egg if it’s never been done before on that cartridge. I was a bit crestfallen and out like $13, but whatever, I have Manaphy and Phione from someone I just have no idea if they’re legit or not.
So, obviously, just wrapped up the challenge and thought I’d give it a shot and see if BY CHANCE the egg was still available on my cartridge.
I beat pokémon ranger today and.... it was. I transferred the Manaphy egg into Pokémon Diamond... I’m pretty shocked right now, 13 YEARS later. The amount of luck and chance that had to go into this! Regardless, Manaphy and Phione will now also be from SInnoh and have my OT!

Master Dex Challenge Gen IV Overview:
Gen IV took a total of 12 weeks overlapping with Gen V (week 31)
In the first graphic, the grey stats reflect the overall total. The pearly graphics reflect the weekly totals. Keep in mind, the reason the complete number is 149 is the challenge includes all gender variants and forme differences.
The second graphic lists the party members for Gen IV in Platinum, complete with the levels at which they were transferred. Week 30 was spent in Soul Silver to obtain ! and ? form Unown.
Gen IV Highlights:
Nope. Nope. Nothing, in the entire Pokémon world, nothing... was as thoroughly frustrating as catching Munchlax. I thought Gen I Tauros would never be outdone, but like... it was. It was outdone. You see that terrible gap?? That 6 week stretch is Munchlax! Only! Horrible. Very bad.
I actually never had to play Diamond or Pearl. I caught the pokémon I needed in them and sent them to Platinum to be bred and grinded for the OT, but never had to play through them entirely!
Spiritomb was the coolest experience. Nice to finally do that. When I was a kid it seemed impossible, but only because I didn’t understand it.
Distortion world was really cool, that was my first experience with that, and it’s a shame because Giratina has always been my fav legendary with Mewtwo, so I was shamefully late.
Sinnoh is also my favorite region. So perfect. It’s where I’d live in pokéearth.
I love all the new strange ways for pokémon to evolve that Gen IV introduced. It was extremely fun to play that aspect of these games.
Mamoswine and Porygon-Z are two of my all time favorite pokémon too, so adding them to the roster was awesome.
One more time. Munchlax was awful. Here’s the thing... while it was a terrible experience, it was really great to finally get. I took a phone photo of the time Munchlax slid on screen, it felt really special. I hope GameFreak doesn’t stop making pokémon that’re extremely hard to obtain. I don’t like an easy challenge! (I’ll talk more later on what type of challenge I DO NOT like... *cough* Vivillon... *cough*)
While the Gen IV games are my favorite, I really wish they’d fully explored the use of mythical side plots and used the azure flute too... please.

Master Dex Update Week 45:
This is the final Master Dex Weekly Update!! I’ve completed the entire pokédex, all forms and gender differences, all from their native regions, all with my OT! I’m so pleased to have this completed, it’s been an insane time. I’ll continue to post the generation overviews, with Gen V being next.
This week added 10 pokémon, completing the challenge at 117/117.
Highlights:
Finished! The last pokémon I obtained was Silvally (friendship evolution, are we surprised?)
Went to the reverse world to get Cosmog again, this time leaving it as Cosmog.
Kartana!!!! One of my Favorite pokémon!
Plans for future posts:
I’ve got a few projects I’m working on right now:
I’m working on logging the information (nat dex ID, species, nickname, region, level, gender, shiny, pkrs, nature, OT & ID, ability/hidden ability, origin marker, and IV spread) for EVERY pokémon in my bank. I finished my Normal Inventory (1,539 pokémon), and I still have to log my Competitive Team Members (34 pokémon) and the Master Dex (1034 pokémon minus Meltan/Melmetal). I wanted to do this so you guys can see the exact stats of every pokémon obtained for the challenge! This will also show off the behind-the-scenes part of the challenge, all of the spreadsheet work involved.
I’m planning the next year’s worth of content on this blog I’ll be going over what I’ll be doing next very soon.
I want to continue to post the Generation Overviews too.

Master Dex Update Week 39:
I was beating myself up because I tried so hard to get as many pokémon as possible, and was disappointed when I only got 7 pokémon but I realized: I played through the entirety of Black 2, beat the Hall of Fame (last night, in bed), AND played a massive amount of dream radar, SO. I’m not so disappointed. There’s not really a lot in B2 that I need, everything I need is in the post game. I’ll be almost entirely finished with Gen V next week- I’ll have to put it on hold and buy a copy of Black or White 2. I was also beating myself up over that, (the fact that I didn’t realize Reshiram wasn’t in Black 2) but then I realized I’d’ve had to have played through one of the sequels anyway, to get Therian Formes and Zoroark, so I don’t feel as stupid either. I have 152/170 (i miscalculated again, I think...)
Highlights:
I beat the elite four! No! I’m not upset with my shameless use of two legendary pokémon and N’s Zoroark. Why? CAUSE.
Got the Gothitelle line
Got the Therian Tornadus and Therian Thundurus (and some other cool pokémon from Dream Radar!)
Sidenote, it’s so weird playing through this game, cause my name is En, pronounced just like N’s and its just weird seeing N and En all over the place. Every Gen V video I watch on YouTube will mention N and i’m like 👀 every time.
Plans for Week 40:
I’ll be able to finish Gen V this week, I said so in the past, but I don’t think I understood what that entailed until now and it’s defs doable, oh- well, except for Reshiram.
I want to work on the Gen IV overview post soon. I’ll see what. can throw together today.

Master Dex Challenge Week 41:
This week I completed Gen V with 1 pokémon for the total of 170/170 (yes, I bought Black version like the day after I posted week 40...)
I added 39 pokémon to Gen VI for a total of 107/114 (had numbers wrong last week, shocking)
I need to give a special shoutout to @clemy-sensei who has been the most immensely wonderful support, not only this week, but all the way back to WEEK 6. Clémy traded me my first Vivillon an entire 6 YEARS after the hype had died. You’ll notice if you look here at Week 40 the pokémon are all in different positions on the chart, that’s because I added the whole 7 event partner hat pikachu’s to Gen I, instead of just one. I had 6/7 of them, only missing one. Clémy traded me the one I was missing, an immense burden lifted. I can’t thank you enough, Clémy, for everything you’ve done for me.
Highlights:
I’m already only missing 7 pokémon from Gen VI. I just have to play through X to get Clauncher, Clawitzer, Swirlix, Slurpuff, and Xerneas. That’ll complete Gen VI, because Zygarde 10% and Power Construct Zygarde are only in Gen VII.
Clémy also traded me a Tyrunt Egg, which was way helpful- eliminating two pokémon I needed to get from X.
Got every size difference of Gourgeist. It wasn’t actually that difficult, I was VERY lucky though, the super sizes didn’t take as long as you’d think.
Between US, and ORAS I had 4 Shiny Stones, so I was able to go ahead and obtain all the Florges forms, instead of putting it off for another week
Used the masterball for Zygarde, lol, normally wouldn’t even touch the masterball tbh.
SHAMELESSLY USED YVELTAL IN THE ELITE FOUR, FIGHT ME.
Got all the orange star pokémon removed from the list!
Plans for Week 42:
I want to move on to X, and finish up there. For Gen VII I’m going to be playing through Sun, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. The reason for Sun is because that’s the only way to obtain the Zygarde forms.
I didn’t count totem pokémon in my count for Gen VII either, do they keep thier totem-ness? Are they transferable to Pokémon Home? I’m not sure yet, if they are, I’ll go collect them later, but that’s not in the cards for this final 11 week stretch.

Master Dex Challenge Week 40:
Wow! I Just started Gen VI and I’m already 60% done. Yikes. It’s a small generation, sure, but you’ll also remember back in Week 6 I started the Vivillon hunt. I ended it on Week 8 or just thereafter. So those were there with the event pokémon. During that time, throughout the many resets I collected the majority of the starters.
This week adds 17 pokémon to Gen V for a total of 169/170 (only missing Reshiram)
It adds 68 pokémon for a total of 68/113 for Gen VI. I only have 12 weeks to complete this challenge before it’s a failure. I can’t let that happen!
Gen V Highlights:
Finished up the Weather Trio
Got Archen and Archeops!
Bred for Dewott and Oshawott
It was a thursday, so I got the stationary Mandibuzz on Route 4 Unova, which is cool cause it’s a lower level than should be possible for a Mandibuzz
Grinded for Hydriegon (kill me)
I have 12 weeks to purchase Pokémon Black D:
Gen VI Highlights:
All the Vivillon forms. I know that happened at the beginning of the challenge, but just for ceremony’s sake, I waited to get Continental Vivillon until this week, so I actually completed the butterfly collection this week. I’m really proud of this accomplishment because it comes with a lot of real-life hunting all over reddit and tumblr and I had so many helpful individuals dust off their pokémon X and Y copies that they hadn’t thought about for years, just to trade Vivillon to a perfect stranger. It was an especially difficult challenge cause they needed to come from Kalos, not Alola, and a lot of people had moved on from X and Y. Things are heating up, we’re in the last bit of this challenge. I need to purchase Black to get Reshiram
I want to get rid of the orange box, but Florges will be in there for a while
I want to simply continue to hit Gen VI hard and finish it quickly!
