I've realised that, because of how Tertiary ends, the fourth chapter to Heartbeat Program lets me screw around with Raidraptor anatomy. Sometimes the spirit form of a bird will nibble at you as a scanning mechanism because of a beak-contained sensor.
#marwospeaking#'Marwo what' I put a life sensor in Rise's beak and she likes checking in on Shun's Important People by preening them#She also thinks Yuuto is a perma-downy feathered Fuzzy Lanius but that's not hugely important.#Semi related; I kind of want to amp up how eldritch Yuuto and Dark Rebellion look to the other monsters in Heartland. Surely they are..#.. at least a little fucked up and concerning to look at? How is something branded by the dimension it lives in NOT fucked up looking#Visually fine but you Know something is Badly Wrong type stuff I mean. Same goes for Walking Floodgate (Ruri's En Birds. and also Ruri)#but that is connected to how I see dimensions working when you aren't Zarc or Ray related on a soul level. maybe it'll get covered#Marwo Heartbeat Project

Might write up a new chapter for Heartbeat Program. maybe
#marwospeaking#My reasoning is entirely 'I didn't actually explore the side effects of that program's existence in Heartland'. because chapter 1 and 2 are#the same incident from two points of view (Yuuto and Reb)#I hope I don't have writer's block bad enough that I can't. but who knows#He's died once. came back pretty much the same. but the wrongness has to take time to show through basically. He's been alive again..#.. for what? 20 hours maybe? not enough time#Marwo Heartbeat Project

Chapter 6 is finished, but at the same time I'm not that satisfied with the ending part of the chapter,
so it's staying in the drafts until I can figure out how to fix that - or until I get some sleep and look at it again (it might actually be fine)

The start of chapter 6 felt too awkwardly forwards (especially for a work that leaves its main character in the dark as to why he gets revived), so that got rewritten, but as a result the chapter changed direction ;v; damn it

last post was a week ago. Marwo update: I am working (slowly) on Heartbeat (which doesn't like being written when its not a chapter rewritten from a different pov), and oc stuff in the background (I am still stuck on naming a single archetype - brain refuses to let me move on from the main group until that's done,,,)

I realise the idea of the Heartbeat Project actually allows Shark and Rio to be around in arc v, just not alive by way of reincarnated barian emperors. Problem is how their personalities would go from then on because it's not guaranteed that they would've been the same as the emperors

(if it didn't put an awkward wrench into Heartbeat Program, I would've added the Heartland Nobility stuff in from the back of my head, but then that means Shun Might Know instead of He's Clueless But Suspicious. I'd rather he found out like everyone else might; purely on accident)

Rio. Dumon. Mizael. Alito. Girag. and Vector from Xyz. alongside Don. Astral. and Eliphas.#and. I could be so incredibly wrong. doesn't Astral not being there mean that Yuma also can't be there. or are they not directly connected?#(Okok yes Shark and Rio aren't actually deleted.
