So... continuing my thoughts on crossover ideas again, I had this thought after seeing some fanart... Devil May Cry/Marvel/Shin Megami Tensei crossover. Maybe have it be something like Nero is contracted a mission to test the Nahobino similar to how his uncle was contracted to test the Demi-Fiend, all while a different force, I'm thinking from the Marvel side of the idea, is looking to stop the Nahobino and/or take the Throne.

One idea I had for the Marvel side of things is maybe making Loki a sort of behind-the-scenes mastermind, maybe not in a bid to take the Throne but to find someone who can. Maybe he shows up to Lucifer and is like "Hello, old friend. Say... How about a little wager?" I only posit this idea because something tells me, even though I have not gotten very far into SMTV Vengeance, that Lucifer kinda likes that the Nahobino have returned. And going with Marvel's Loki, the God of Mischief is not above making things into a spectacle. Who would Loki put his bets into? I like to think he would bet on multiple horses in this race, as while not always the brightest, Loki can be pretty crafty. The ideas I have for who Loki would put stake into, and in all honesty most of my choices are some of the semi-known and some of the semi-obscure favorites of mine.

So far, for Loki's "champions," to put it one way, I'm thinking: Daken, Eric Masterson, Ben Reilly, Luke Cage and/or Iron Fist. Or maybe instead of those last two, I'll go with Victor Alvarez, who has taken on Luke Cage's hero name of Power Man but has chi-based powers like Iron Fist.

I also did just have the idea while writing this of maybe some Marvel characters are also now workers of the in-universe Devil May Cry business, so maybe they would tag along with Nero. I'm thinking that two of those Marvel characters that would are Robbie Reyes and Laura Kinney. Both have some experience with fighting demons, and I think it could be a fun dynamic to write for Nero, Robbie, and Laura. Maybe I could have it that they start by testing the Protagonist but as things go along start having some doubts and maybe start doing their own thing. I also had this idea of making Laura the Knowledge of Amaterasu, using her connection to the Uni-Power as a bit of inspiration. Also, thinking about it, Nero having a teammate who, unknown to them all, has the potential to take the Throne is a fun idea.

Another idea I had while typing this out is say making Nico Minoru into a Panagia, a Goddess of Creation, as the protagonist, with two Nahobino as the ones to sway her in choosing Order or Chaos. I don't know why this popped in my head, but I think it could be be a pretty cool idea to try writing.

Thank you so much!! Yeah Ahti is going to be an honorary grandpa to an OC of mine for the Heaven Knows saga (which is the name of the series of this massive crossover) I have been tooling with since 2017. And I’ll give you a spoiler her dad’s adopted dad Cor (yes that Cor from Final Fantasy XV) is very suspicious of Ahti as is her vati (dad in German). In fact her dad wonders if his daughter telling her family about Ahti’s visits was a wise idea. I’m still working on incorporating the Remedyverse into the lore of Heaven Knows so it’ll be a while till the meeting occurs.

I just read your fic It Will Happen Again and I couldn’t help but snicker at your comment of Ahti being the unknowing cool uncle in the comments section. It’s funny because I’m actually writing a big crossover fanfic which will contain elements from the Remedyverse and Ahti will appear in it. I’m a bit nervous of posting the entire saga online because I’m still working on it and I can get anxious about if my work is up to a high quality but I would like to be as well loved as your work is.

First of all, thanks for the wonderful compliment on my fanfic. ‘It Will Happen Again’, and by extension the TZE AU series of Zaneling fics, is something that’s fun for me to write, and I’ve got a doozy of a next entry coming up.

And it’s cool you’re writing your own fanfic and including Ahti. I am ALSO be doing an Ahti shipping fic with him and Director Ash Sr (don’t ask how or why, it’s becoming a rather bittersweet tale). I feel like Ahti is super under-appreciated in fanfics for how universally loved he is by fans, and I intend to fix that slowly but surely.

As for your nervousness, don’t be! My best advice is to not compare yourself to other stories. You just need to make something you feel is good enough, because fanfics are inherently super self indulgent, and if you try and go by metrics you will end up in a vicious loop (or a spiral, if you will XD). That being said, if you’re passionate about this project, people will find it. Passion finds passion on the internet, I find. And when that story comes out, please do let me know! I’d love to see what you’ve come up with

I think the idea that Vergil would hate Trish comes from Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ultimate. Because in that game, if Trish and Vergil fight against each other, Vergil says something like "How disgusting."

Still it doesn't really make sense after the events of DMC 5.

I don't know it's just "You saved my life when I was in a fragile position and that meant a lot to me but now I'm going to be a bitch to you because you look like my mom" and "I showed no hostility to you before and even decided to save your life despite what you did because I understand wanting to make amends but now I'm going to be a bitch to you" just both feel really weird to me.

I found out that there were mods for UMVC3 that adds a green screen and removes the hyper combo backgrounds so you know what means... >:^) Anyways, this was the first thing I imagined and the first clash I wanted to see so I got the footage of these moves and did my best to edit them, together in a way that looked cool.
