Hellooo
I dont wanna bother you, but would you wappen to know what that concept art of old marc was for?
Also i love your blog, makes me happy to read the tags too
Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by; I’m glad you’re enjoying this blog! :D And please, never wonder about bothering me, as I always love having a reason to go down a Moon Knight-related research rabbit hole hahaha
Nonetheless,,,,I know y’all can’t see me, so just imagine some vaguely human-shaped entity, head in hands. When I tell you I spent hours going through my posts and spinning up some increasingly bonkers boolean searches for this 🤣 and don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely a labor of love, but I’m still not entirely sure I found the exact concept art you’re referring to.
Closest thing I could find was the concept art for an aged Marc Spector in Battleworld: Secret Wars Journal (Vol. 1/2015), #1 by Luca Pizzari (which objectively I think is dope as all get out and I’m glad I found it, but I’m still not sure exactly if it’s what you’re looking for).
Hope this is of some use to someone out there! Sorry if I’m off-base; I completely respect the desire to remain anonymous, so please feel free to send another ask or perhaps a DM with any more possible details or the exact image you would like to learn more about (as again, I don’t need much of a reason to keep researching Moon Knight things :D).
#Knight Mail#Marvel 51910#Battleworld: Secret Wars Journal#Moon Knight#Marc Spector#thanks again for sending in an ask! it was just the kick in the pants I needed hahaha#I’m not sure I can properly express how hilariously ironic this situation is without giving too much away on the freely-accessible internet#but choose to believe me or not (as just some person on the internet I have no legit credibility whatsoever)#I have….spent considerable money acquiring the skills to and been /given/ considerable money due to my ability to straight up#find things on the internet with the vaguest client requests/suggested search parameters possible#so for this to be the search to return without unmitigated success has me ROLLING hahaha thanks for the reality check#I guess I was getting just a BIT too prideful in my skills 🤣 and it’s always great to learn that there’s room to improve#(or maybe I’ve just become too specialized in digging up info on uuuuuuuh certain unsavory groups)#me white-knuckling the bathroom sink: I can find it I swear I can find I just need more search terms or an approx time period or art style#also me: bro for once in your life just take the L#hahaha but thanks again this truly was a lot of fun! :D

Moon Knight Ladies (Adjacent???)
Baroness Khonshu of Earth-51910
She's a tyrant who enslaves mutants and turns people into werewolves, but dang, look at this design.
(Secret Wars Journal #1)
This iteration of Khonshu was created by Matthew Rosenberg and Luca Pizzari and appears in Secret Wars (Vol. 2/2015), #2 and #6, as well as Secret Wars Journal (Vol. 1/2015), #1.
Honestly there's not much to say, except she's as criminally condescending as 616!Khonshu and carries out the sort of vision that probably would have been the end result of the "Age of Khonshu." But again...she’s got some cool looks.

Sue Storm deserves better????#all I know for sure is that I wish 1610!Reed Richards would come with a jumpscare warning#and that countless realities may or may not have been saved by two Spider-Men and one 3-week old burger

Punisher (and Moon Knight???) of Earth-51910
Remember that time in Vengeance of the Moon Knight (Vol. 1/2009), #5 when Khonshu was kvetching about why Marc couldn't be more like the Punisher, who's god probably didn't need to beg for blood constantly (to which Marc astutely replied that Frank Castle had no god)? Well, looks like Baroness Khonshu of Earth-51910 lucked out.
Created by Mike Benson and Laura Braga for Secret Wars Journal (Vol. 1/2015), #4, this Frank confirms his connection to Khonshu (if the bird skull wasn't evidence enough) by occasionally swearing in her name. I wonder though if this Moon Knight is a werewolf as well, like the rest of the Cult of Khonshu in this reality is implied to be??? But honestly, I'm just a big fan of how, even as an ancient deity's Fist of Vengeance, Frank still manages to carry a very large firearm.
As well as some other exciting but far less explosive weaponry.
(Bird skulls on the knees also seems to be a common Earth-51910 theme)
#Benson#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 51910#Secret Wars#Secret Wars Journal#Moon Knight comics#The Punisher#Frank Castle#if the author's last name rings any bells it might be because Mike Benson wrote the second half of Moon Knight (vol. 5/2006)#after Huston's departure#interestingly enough Benson's stint on Moon Knight did involve another team-up with the Punisher#huh#anyway I’m trying not to get too far afield but I just thought that this was a neat connection#to that one issue of Vengeance of the Moon Knight

#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 51910#Secret Wars Journal#Moon Knight comics#Moon Knight#Marc Spector#while that sure is an interesting design choice for Marc#there are several points I like here#firstly that this tone of disillusionment really lines up well with where 616!Marc was in his own comic at the time#(AKA Cullen Bunn’s stint during Moon Knight volume 7)#and secondly…I just find it fun that Moon Knight debuted in a Werewolf-by-Night comic and now werewolves are just kind of his Thing#(someday I’ll watch the Blade TV show where Marc is apparently name-dropped as an expert on werewolves hahaha)
