Soundscape 011: Hotel Radio Paris (France)

MusicMap’s ‘Soundscape’ series is the easiest way to keep up with local music scenes and global trends. Every few weeks we visit a different country and ask a local scenester to serve up a mix of the finest sounds from that area.

For the 11th Soundscape we got in touch with our favourite Parisian tour guide, Jean-Charles Leuvrey. As the founder of France’s freshest internet radio station, Hotel Radio Paris, who better to showcase the sounds currently heating up the Parisian airwaves?

“French productions are currently influenced by many currents coming from the South and the North of Europe”, Jean-Charles reveals. “Our musical heritage and the arrival of new production techniques are one, and expand the eclecticism of the new French wave. This mix represents a small part of current music in France. My tracklist blends emerging artists with more established artists, to hatch a sweet and romantic journey. I hope you enjoy it!”
