DEBUTING AT TCAF 2020: Roxy Doom by Martha Agostini & Olivia Agostini

Roxy Doom and The Great CK. They are the couple everyone talks about. He is Generation X Ambassador. She is the Alternative Rock Queen, leader of Noseband, a band that is going to be on everyone’s map. One way or another. 

And then, along comes the year 1995. Noseband bassist dies in a fire just weeks after the release of their second and most famous album ominously entitled "Don't Ever Tell Anybody Anything". And the Great CK's car is found in the Los Angeles River, leaving no body behind. The dream is over. The myth begins.

Fast forward to the year 2015: Music journalist Travis Travis receives an unexpected offer. Former Rock Queen turned celeb Roxy Doom wants him to help her pen her memoirs. 

 The only problem is that Roxy doesn’t seem too keen on revealing things, and Travis has a fervent imagination … 

 The graphic novel comes with its original soundtrack as digital download code.

Roxy doom, album (OST) 2020

Martha ed Olivia Agostini sono due graphic novelist con l'abitudine di comporre delle OST per accompagnare l'inchiostro. Poi mettono insieme le due cose e confezionano un "casscomics", il che è già piuttosto sorprendente. In primo luogo perché le musicassette esistono ancora (sono solo in via d'estinzione). Se poi dentro ci trovi un'intera scena alternative-rock ambientata nei '90 (non un musical sui '90, proprio una scena col suo sound parallelo), c'è di che stupirsi.

GB - Martha and Olivia Agostini are two graphic novelists with the habit of composing OSTs to accompany the ink. Then they put them together and pack a "casscomics", which is a pretty amazing thing. Firstly, because the cassette tapes still exist (they are only on the verge of extinction). And if inside you find an entire alternative-rock scene inspired by the 90s (i mean, not a musical about the 90s, just the scene), there is something to be surprised about.
