क्रिश द्वारा निर्देशित इस फिल्म का पोस्टर जारी करते हुए ट्रेड एनालिस्ट तरण आदर्श ने ट्विटर पर लिखा,’ सामने आया ‘मणिकर्णिका : द क्वीन ऑफ झांसी’ का पहला पोस्टर। कंगना दिखी रानी लक्ष्मीबाई के किरदार में, क्रिश द्वारा निर्देशित ये फिल्म 25 जनवरी 2019 को रिलीज होगी।’

बता दें हाल में कंगना ने फिल्म को लेकर बातचीत की। उन्होंने कहा, ‘यह एक प्रतिष्ठित भूमिका है। मैंने इसके लिए तलवारबाजी और घुड़सवारी का काफी अभ्यास किया। घुड़सवारी करने के दो दिन बाद मुझे बुखार भी हो गया।’ उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं केवल उनकी ताकत की कल्पना कर सकती हूं। मैंने उनकी बहादुरी की कहानियों को दर्शाने के लिए अपनी पूरी कोशिश की है।’ गौरतलब है कि ‘मणिकर्णिका : द क्वीन ऑफ झांसी’ फिल्म का निर्माण कमल जैन और निशांत पिट्टी के सहयोग से ‘जी स्टूडियो’ कर रहा है।
