In 2016, Subham Charan grabbed the entrepreneurial plunge by quitting his employment to launch Varistor Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru and later joined by his friends Aman Jain and Akshaya Gupta (used to be classmates during college days).

“We started the venture in 2016 and launched it (solarclue.com) officially in 2019. Selling solar energy products online to support our Eco-system, we are witnessing annual revenues of up to Rs. 10 Cr. This year, we are eying the solar market with an expectation to generate revenue of INR 350 Million.”

A leap of faith when the thought struck him

After graduating from the National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, in the beginning, Subham worked in an MNC- Hewlett for a year, but then, he started a conglomerate company – Varistor Technologies Pvt. Ltd. that is today known as India’s fastest-growing startup.

Subham says, “Since my schooling day’s one thing has always stroked in my mind is executing something for the betterment of society and comfort of the general public. Therefore after completing my studies B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, I started my venture with a motto to strengthening the social, environmental, and economic profitability of the entire human race. Though it took a big leap of faith to decide to try something new.”
