I’m going to add my heartfelt plea to this. Please don’t get in the habit of censoring yourself!

I’m actually deeply concerned with how self-censorship escapes the platform it formed on and infects the rest of the internet. I worry because the language we use informs our thinking as much as our thinking informs our language and this new rhyming slang we’re developing leaves us with some silly words for very important subjects. Like, I know Elon Musk is a joke, but calling what he did a Yahtzee salute makes it real hard to take seriously. And that’s a problem, because he’s the richest and arguably the most powerful person in the world right now, and, no matter how difficult he makes it to do so, we *must* take what he does seriously.

you're allowed to say "sex" on the internet. See? I just did it. Sex. Sex sex sex. You don't have to say s*x or smex or Adult Fun Times or s3x or "spice" any other variation of self-censorship on tumblr dot com you can just spell out the word SEX i am going to scream until the heat death of the universe
