Premier League: Rodgers uncovers genuine motivation behind why Raheem Sterling left Liverpool
Raheem Sterling's large cash move from Liverpool to Manchester City wasn't persuaded by accounts, as per ex-Anfield supervisor Brendan Rodgers. Premier League fans can book Manchester City Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
The England star made tremendous features in 2015 when making a disputable £49million change from Merseyside to Manchester, an at that point record expense for an English player.
Sterling, only 20 at that point, was truly beginning to bloom under the tutelage of Rodgers and had been a key figure nearby Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge and Steven Gerrard as Liverpool went so near title greatness in 2014.
At the point when the Merseysiders lost Suarez to Barcelona after the 2014 World Cup, Liverpool fans thought Sterling's rise could help fill the hole yet the Jamaican-conceived star, who made his Reds debut under Rodgers at 17 years old, chose to proceed onward as well.
The choice offended the home help and Sterling was impacted for being ravenous, a serenade they despite everything strike up when he comes back to Anfield in City hues. Be that as it may, Rodgers has an alternate take, accepting the move was down to footballing reasons. Premier League fans can book Liverpool Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.
"For Raheem, it was never about cash, if it was about cash, he could have remained at Liverpool. It was tied in with being as well as can be expected be. At that time, there was a chance to go to where they had top-class players. He's gone in there and created and turn into a victor, which is obvious to see now in his game."
"I see Pep (Guardiola's) group and it's not the equivalent if he's not in it. What a confirmation that is to a youthful English player. What I adored about Raheem was that, for a little fellow, he recognized what he needed to be."
Sterling was a conflicting finisher at Liverpool, overseeing only 23 objectives in 129 appearances. In any case, for City, he's flourished before objective, stowing 25 objectives last season and scoring 23 so far this term.

Fantasy Premier League tips: Game Week 11
Raheem Sterling
When back-to-back Premier League champions play a team, who has just equated the top flight's record victory, its invocations fantasy points. Football fans can book Premier League Tickets on our website with discounted prices.
Sterling is the noticeable choice, having missed the EFL Cup success over Southampton in midweek and with three attacking returns in his last four matches.
Trent Alexander-Arnold
Alexander-Arnold continues to impress, with seven chances created against Tottenham, but they are yet to translate into reliable fantasy points. That could fine transformation at Villa Park on Saturday. Dean Smith's side has held its own since promotion has looked defensively weak to crosses at times.
Neal Maupay
Neal Maupay was Brighton's major summer signing and has four goals to his name to date, though he will be confident of one or two more this weekend. Norwich City appears to have the top-flight's leaking defense by some distance and Daniel Farke's side visit the Amex having passed five goals in the last five games.
Andriy Yarmolenko
The mini-spell of form Yarmolenko enjoyed between game weeks four and seven have dried out of late but could easily be recharged on Saturday. The Ukrainian seems to enjoy himself when playing at the London Stadium, with an average of seven points-per-game there and fraught Newcastle visit this weekend.
Joao Cancelo
After being progressively improved in by Pep Guardiola, Cancelo has started their last three Premier League matches and played the full 90 minutes each time. For those who have the unpredictable Otamendi in their team, Joao Cancelo comes in at £0.2m cheaper and brings a superior attacking plus from full-back.
Mohamed Korain
My best GW this season with a total point of 106 points thanks to Chilwell, Vardy, and Willian, who got me 51 points combined. Captain Sterling also paid off and I think the WC after 2 GWs is treating me good. My rank also took a huge green arrow from 360K to 16K in general.

Premier League - Why Man City should need Liverpool to won title
We should avoid mincing words about it: On the substance of how the Premier League season has gone for Manchester City this year, it wouldn't be horrendous on the off chance that it was. Premier League fans can book Manchester City vs Liverpool Tickets on our website on discounted prices.
They would stay ruling bosses, from the 2018/19 season, and they would have another opportunity at safeguarding that title in 2020/21 – accepting that football would be capable.
It also opens up the huge opportunities for stoking that rivalry that’s developed with Liverpool… you can already see how it would go: “We would have won the league.”/”But you didn’t win the league.”
But, digging a little deeper, it’s worth more to City to finish this current season – again, whenever possible – than to abandon it entirely. Remember: An abandoned season means the last seven (ish) months, as far as the sport and the record books are concerned, just didn’t happen. Data would run from 2018/19 straight into 2020/21, with nothing in between. A void. A nothing.
And, as underwhelming as this season has been at times, City have a lot to lose. The most obvious, initially, is that they would go back to only being two-time defending League Cup winners. And this is a funny one because recently City fans have taken to the League Cup more than any other club (possibly because the team keeps winning it).
With solid groups from Pep Guardiola all through all rounds of the opposition, he's given himself the most obvious opportunity with regards to winning the trophy each spring – and the fans, while now and again disillusioned not to see more youth players highlight, have all things considered bolstered the transition to find a good pace February.
Other clubs don’t get that. It’s at these points Manchester City can’t win, if they put out a debilitating side and they’re not taking it seriously, if they put out a strong team then they’re disrespecting lower-league opposition by winning big. Premier League fans can book Manchester City Tickets on our website on discounted prices.
Yet the anger is always forgotten and City lifts the trophy again the following spring. Having won five of the last seven, City has made the competition their own over the last few years – and to lose it would be like the fans losing a little bit of themselves. Forget the Champions League, the League Cup is where it’s at.
Equally, all of the goals that City scored this season would no longer exist. While the 68 strikes the club has made in the Premier League this season might not immediately stand out as a reason to keep the campaign alive, the 16 netted in the competition by Sergio Aguero are.
Without those, which incorporated a capping stunt at Aston Villa, the striker would dive over into the second spot in the rundown of outside goalscorers in the Premier League. Champions League fans can book Liverpool Tickets on our website on discounted prices.
Worse as yet, erasing that cap stunt would likewise grant the record for the most cap deceives in the Premier League back to Alan Shearer – who Aguero was sharing the crown with. He'd be back on 11, equivalent to the previous England striker oversaw in the opposition.
Even worse, for fans of the more macabre records at the club, it would take away City’s claim at being the only team in Premier League history to have scored eight times in a game and also conceded eight times in a game. You probably never thought that would happen when Jeremie Aliadiere slotted Middlesbrough’s eighth past Andreas Isaksson in Sven Goran Eriksson’s final match in charge, but here we are.
And it gets worse, too. As it stands, City is one Premier League missed penalty away from the record for consecutive failures from the spot. Their last miss was their fourth in succession – as Aguero lightened his lines when confronting Leicester's Kasper Schmeichel – following on from Ilkay Gundogan discovering Hugo Lloris' gloves at Tottenham, Gabriel Jesus being denied by Dean Henderson at Sheffield United, and Raheem Sterling not ready to change over against Rui Patricio at Wolves.
As it stands, if City misses their next spot-kick, then they draw level with Arsenal’s record of five-in-a-row (Lee Dixon, Paul Merson and Ian Wright (x3) are all now looking over their shoulders).
There are more losers, too: Kyle Walker’s cameo in goal at Atalanta would be consigned to folklore rather than record, while Tommy Doyle and Taylor Harwood-Bellis would still be waiting for the first appearances for the senior team. That latter would also no longer have scored in the FA Cup, either.
It might be the case that City haven’t been top of the Premier League table since about 6.30 pm on Saturday 17 August 2019, but City fans have spent years trying to explain the difference between history and success – in the face of criticism from clubs that won trophies in the 1980s and 1990s. Success, while fun at the time, is just data and a list of trophies.
History, while it might be a living nightmare sometimes, is very interesting. History is holding the ball by the corner flag to get relegated. History is being the only reigning champions to go down the following season. And history is being the only team to score and concede eight in a game in the Premier League and to have the most consecutive missed penalties.

Champions League - Man City's battle with Real Madrid is going forward as intentional
UEFA and Manchester council chiefs say they are the 'monitoring' the situation ahead of Champion the s League game at the Etihad next week. There are currently no plans for Manchester City's huge Champions League clash with Real Madrid to be played behind closed doors. Champions League fans can book Manchester City Vs Real Madrid Tickets on our website on discounted prices.
Pep Guardiola's men face the Spanish giants in the second leg of their last 16 ties at the Etihad next Tuesday night, March 17 in what is the biggest game of the season so far. A sell-out crowd of around 55,000 fans are expected including an allocation of around 2,000 travelling Madrid fans.
However, it has already been announced fans will be locked out of several games across the continent in both the Europa League and Champions League including United's clash with LASK in the Austrian city of Linz this Thursday in a bid to halt the spread of the virus.
Madrid has seen a big spike in cases of the virus, also known as Covid-19, this week with the number of confirmed patients jumping from 17 to 782, with 21 people had died. Champions League fans can book MANCHESTER CITY TICKETS on our website on discounted prices.
Schools and universities in and around the capital area have been ordered to close and authorities are carrying out daily disinfection of the metro network. All matches in Spain's top two divisions including La Liga will be played behind closed doors for at least the next two weeks it was announced earlier today (Tues).
Barcelona's Champions League clash with Napoli at the Nou Camp next Wednesday will have no fans present. However, at the moment it appears the game in Manchester will be able to go ahead as normal. Champions League fans can book REAL MADRID TICKETS on our website on discounted prices.
The British government are not advocating the cancellation of any sporting events or other mass gatherings. The UK's Deputy chief medical officer Dr Jenny Harries said cancelling big outdoor events like football matches would not necessarily be a decision supported by science.
"The virus will not survive very long outside," she said. "Many outdoor events, particularly, are relatively safe."
A spokeswoman for the Department of Health today said that remained the advice. The city has two home matches before then, against Arsenal on Wednesday and Burnley on Saturday and both are set to go ahead as planned.
And both European football's governing body UEFA and Manchester City Council have told the Manchester Evening News that as it stands the Real Madrid match is also expected to go ahead as normal with fans allowed in.
However, both say they are in constant dialogue with the clubs and are closely monitoring the situation, stressing the outbreak is a fast-moving situation and things could change by next week.
UEFA said there were currently no specific plans for the game, but a spokesman said: "UEFA takes the situation linked to the coronavirus very seriously.
"We are closely monitoring the situation and are in contact with the World Health Organisation and national authorities regarding Covid-19 and its development.UEFA is also monitoring decisions by local authorities that may have an impact on matches in its competitions. And we are in contact with all the clubs concerning this.”
A Manchester City Council spokesperson said: "We are currently working with government, Public Health England, local health partners and parties involved in organising mass events, and at this stage, the government advice is that cancelling large gatherings is not necessary.
"If the situation regarding Covid-19 or the Public Health England advice changes, then we will work with partners and businesses to understand the impact of that."
"We will continue to monitor the situation in Spain but this is a fast-changing situation and the Spanish Government will also be advising their residents regarding travel. At this stage good infection control advice is crucial."
A City the source said they had followed government advice throughout and would continue to do so.
The M.E.N has contacted Real Madrid for comment.
However Madrid-based paper Marca says "it is likely that it will be held with fans."
And it is understood no advice has been given to their fans not to travel. On Tuesday, the UK's Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said that while holding sporting fixtures behind closed doors is an option, it is “premature” to take such steps or to cancel events now.
He told BBC Breakfast: “At the moment, the advice is clear from the chief medical officer, there isn’t a need to cancel such events.”

Champions League: Barcelona Targeting Four Key Transfers in 2020 summer
Barcelona is reportedly looking to strengthen in four key positions during this summer's transfer window, with the Blaugrana, said to be seeking reinforcements in all areas of the squad. Quique Setien's side led La Liga by two points before Spanish football organizers decided to suspend the season for two matchdays in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Champions League enthusiasts from all over the world are invited to book Champions League tickets from our online ticketing platform. Barcelona followers can book Barcelona Tickets from our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Lluis Miguelsanz of Sport wrote Barca President Josep Maria Bartomeu met with the club's sporting directors in February after they were given emergency clearance to sign striker Martin Braithwaite from Leganes. Barcelona is understood to be in the hunt for a center-back, a goalscoring striker, an anchoring midfielder and a full-back, preferably a right-back.
Setien is said to have approved of the targets compiled by technical secretary Eric Abidal and his assistant, Ramon Planes. The Catalan giants announced in January 2020 that a €31 million deal had been struck to sign 20-year-old winger Trincao from Braga, but the youngster isn't set to join from Braga until July.
Nelson Semedo joined Barcelona from Benfica in 2017 and has exchanged playing time this season with Sergi Roberto. The latter—a graduate of La Masia—has a little more than two years left on his contract, and Eurosport's Siavoush Fallahi suggested he's not an essential component.
BT Sport remembered Roberto's most famous moment in Barcelona colors, though the 28-year-old isn't certain to remain a long-term fixture at the club. Recruiting a striker remains a priority despite Braithwaite's winter arrival, with Setien having to deal without frontman Luis Suarez since he underwent knee surgery in January.
Miguelsanz also mentioned Barcelona's apparent interest in Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, who received praise from Lionel Messi in an interview with Mundo Deportivo. It's also natural the Blaugrana will have one eye on the future of Sergio Busquets, though the 31-year-old's contract doesn't expire until 2023.
He's spectacular. He's got a lot of impressive qualities. I can see he's going to become a great player, he's exploded onto the scene now and is showing what he's capable of. He's very strong, beats his man and scores goals. He'll fight with anyone in the box, holds onto the ball, and can produce moments by himself. He's got a lot of quality and is a very complete player.
The type of midfielder said to be a priority this summer fits the mold of an heir to the Spain star, with none of the club's current options offering the same physicality and presence in the role. Yaya Toure is cited as a comparable player to the target they're seeking, which will encourage many at the Camp Nou. Football writer Muhammad Butt commented on the club's misuse of Frenkie de Jong since he joined from Ajax in July 2019.
It's also mentioned that the club's preference is to sign a left-footed center-back, though it could be one of Clement Lenglet or Samuel Umtiti is sold by the club to raise funds before that can happen. Bartomeu is expected to make strong moves in the summer transfer market with presidential elections approaching at the Camp Nou in June 2021.

Manchester City youngsters have been given another Premier League boost
Three teenagers started for Manchester City during their win over Southampton this week. Manchester City fans were given an indication of the future on Tuesday night as the Blues heaped more gloom on Ralph Hasenhuttl's Southampton at the Etihad. Football fans can book Premier League Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
A Nicolas Otamendi header led Sergio Aguero brace in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup but two more strikes from the Blues all-time record goal scorer is not what the game will be remembered for. Blues fans have become familiar with seeing Argentine forward find the net with regularity over the previous eight-and-a-half years.
Although they will never tire of seeing Aguero wheel away in celebration having added another goal to his count, they will have found the introduction of a few new faces of late inspirational.
Tommy Doyle, the 18-year-old local guy, showcased at the base of midfield on his senior debut against Saints. Tommy Doyle played so well for the first game in a position that is not natural for him. I saw him playing there for a few days when normally he plays in front but he played really well.
Tommy Doyle is Manchester City through and through. His granddad the late Mike Doyle, is a bona fide City great having got his hands on eight pieces of silverware during the 60s and 70s. As Guardiola noted, holding midfield is not Doyle's primary place but he cleared himself well there against Premier League opposition.
A calm young defender with technical features polished in La Masia, he could be vital for Manchester City in the coming months as Pep Guardiola continues to struggle with Aymeric Laporte's knee injury.
Phil Foden has been in and around the first team for a couple of years now but he is yet to turn 20 and Tuesday's game was just his 16th start for Manchester City.
The chances of him being involved in any of the seven Premier League matches before the Oxford United draw are slim, and if he features in any of Manchester City remaining three Champions League group matches it will likely be because a place in the last 16 has already been available.
Guardiola is more likely to give his young players further game time against a team of Premier League One standard than Manchester United or Liverpool.

Premier League: The worst player to win the title in every season from 2015-2019
The Premier League is going to be held soon this year. The English Premier League is the top level of the English football league system, Contested by 20 clubs. Premier League fans can book Chelsea Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
2014/15: Filipe Luis | Chelsea
A dubious one considering Luis was beyond question outstanding amongst other left-backs of the previous decade. In any case, things didn't work out for the Brazilian at Stamford Bridge and he kept going only one season before coming back to Atletico Madrid.
Cesar Azpilicueta was Jose Mourinho's favoured decision at left-back, with Luis constrained to only nine beginnings in the alliance. Andre Schurrle, who played in 14 games, more likely than not been in the Mirror's reasoning when they thought of the rundown.
2015/16: Gokhan Inler | Leicester City
Having played in the Champions League with Napoli and two World Cups for Switzerland, Leicester City fans more likely than not been humming when they marked Gokhan Inler in the mid-year of 2015. Be that as it may, he endured only one season at the club - although it ended up being the best season in their history.
Inler played in only five games as Claudio Ranieri's side finished a supernatural occurrence. He left for Besiktas toward the finish of the battle. Premier League fans can book Leicester City Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
2016/17: Nathaniel Chalobah | Chelsea
Nathaniel Chalobah has formed into a fine player at Watford, yet his commitments in Chelsea's effective 2016/17 season were insignificant. He showed up and 9 came as a substitute. In a rundown of the noticeably awful players to win the class, its impossible Chalobah would be on it. However, 1 Chelsea player must be on it.
2017/18: Eliaquim Mangala | Manchester City
Man City's 2017/18 crew didn't have numerous terrible players in it. Any group that completes with 100 focuses is quite acceptable. Be that as it may focus back Eliaquim Mangala, marked for £32 million of every 2014, stood apart as a feeble connection and was restricted to only nine games under Pep Guardiola.
2018/19: Danilo | Manchester City
Once more, it's difficult to reprimand any individual who played for a group on a par with Man City have been under Guardiola. Be that as it may, excepting an objective in a 3-0 win over Huddersfield, Danilo didn't have a vital influence in City's noteworthy season and joined Juventus in the mid-year of 2019.

Premier League: The most dreadful player to win the title season from 2010-14
The Premier League is going to be held soon this year. The English Premier League is the top level of the English football league system, Contested by 20 clubs. Premier League fans can book Chelsea Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
2009/10: Yuri Zhirkov | Chelsea
Russian left-back Yuri Zhrikov played in 17 games as Carlo Ancelotti's side won the title in 2009/10. He was marked as Ashley Cole's reinforcement, so didn't get numerous changes.
2010/11: Darron Gibson | Manchester United
Man United's crew in 2010/11 incorporated any semblance of Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes, and Darron Gibson wasn't exactly at their level. The Irishman played in 12 games - 6 of those from off the seat so he fits the bill for the rundown. Gabriel Obertan and Federico Macheda simply passed up the necessities.
2011/12: Stefan Savic | Manchester City
Stefan Savic has formed into a fine safeguard at Atletico Madrid, winning the Europa League in 2018, yet he wasn't too a Man City. Montenegro worldwide sufficiently did to get a decoration, playing in 11 games under Roberto Mancini.
2012/13: Alexander Buttner | Manchester United
Alexander Buttner was stuck behind Patrice Evra in the hierarchy in his first season at Old Trafford yet he figured out how to show up, turning into the principal recipient of the new standard presented toward the beginning of the 2012/13 season.
Brazilian midfielder Anderson could have made the rundown as he played in 17 games, yet the Mirror decided on Buttner. Premier League fans can book Manchester United on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
2013/14: Costel Pantilimon | Manchester City
Romanian goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon earned seven appearances in City's title-winning 2013/14 crusade, in which they pipped Liverpool at the demise. He stayed in England after leaving City toward the finish of the period and at present ends up on credit at Cypriot side Omonia from Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United insiders trust Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams is only the beginning of the club's foundation stars getting through to the main group. Manchester United supervisor Solskjaer gave Greenwood his introduction last season, with the 18-year-old falling off the seat in the club's 3-1 Champions League prevail upon PSG. Williams, in the meantime, showed up for the Red Devils in the limited EFL Cup prevail upon Rochdale.
The two players have intrigued this season, helping United recuperate from a flimsy begin to transform them into potential Premier League top four finishers. What's more, the Evening Standard state the inclination inside the club is that the pair's normal appearances are only the beginning.
Joined have consistently had youth at the focal point of their activity, beginning route back when Sir Matt Busby wore the pants. Busby changed the way of life of the club and his group of youthful players, nicknamed the Busby Babes, shimmered all through the 1950s.

Premier League: The job Billy Gilmour could play in Chelsea and Manchester United's Declan Rice move fight
Declan Rice of West Ham United has been linked with a transfer move away from the Hammers and both Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked. Premier League fans can book Manchester United Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Declan Rice has been subject of interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea, The West Ham United midfielder only signed a new contract at the London Stadium. Premier League fans can book West Ham United Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Rice has been an ever-present figure in the Hammers’ team this season, making 35 appearances across all competitions. The 21-year-old could be an ideal long-term replacement for Nemanja Matic, who has reportedly been offered a new two-year deal at Old Trafford.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed earlier this month that the 31-year-old would stay at the Manchester club but an official deal is yet to be announced. Matic has been an integral part of United's midfield over the years and Rice could be the younger option to replace the Serbian.
As it stands, Solskjaer has Fred, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba and Matic to choose from for his central midfield options. Pogba’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain and Rice could be the perfect candidate to play alongside Fred or McTominay.
However, a move to Chelsea would see him join the likes of Jorginho and Billy Gilmour, who both can play in Rice’s position. Jorginho has enjoyed a very strong season for the Blues and has become more of a fan favourite with each passing game.
Gilmour, 18, has featured in Frank Lampard’s side’s last two games – picking up Man of the Match in both – and he looks like he could be the future of Chelsea’s midfield. Premier League fans can book Chelsea Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
With Lampard’s growing reputation of bringing youngsters through the academy, despite Chelsea’s interest, it could be difficult to fit Rice into the system. Despite Matic’s resurgence in form recently, it is unrealistic for him to play every game of the season, and having competition in Rice, could bring out the best in both options.

Premier League: Adama Traore aims bizarre dig at Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Zaha
The Manchester City star Raheem Sterling and the Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha have both been split a bizarre dig by Wolves forward Adama Traore, who sued that he isn't like them, but they are both like him. Premier League fans can book Manchester City Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
The Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling and Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha are two of the Premier League's finest wide players. But, developing talent Adama Traore of Wolves has claimed that he doesn't play in the same style as either player. But they play in the same style as him.
Traore has had an excellent season for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, as Wolves once again look to battle for a European place. The Midlands side is currently sixth in the Premier League, and the Spaniard has been a key part of their success. Premier League fans can book Manchester City Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
He's scored crucial goals over Tottenham and Manchester City this season, while also providing seven assists for team-mates in the Premier League. Traore has now dished out an extraordinary dig on league rivals Sterling and Zaha. The winger was asked which Premier League footballer was closest to him in playing style.
Adama Traore told the club's official website.
"I am not like them But Wilfried Zaha and Raheem Sterling maybe more like; both are like me."
Adama Traore does have a similar style to both players, although you'd often find Sterling and Zaha playing on the left-hand side of attack. Traore, meanwhile, is more often spotted running down the right flank. The three players tend to have the same strengths and weaknesses.
All three players are excellent dribblers and are all lightning fast. But, their finishing has room for improvement, while they could also be slightly less selfish in front of goal. Traore and Sterling, in particular, need to work on their final passes. Premier League fans can book Manchester City Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Traore started his career in Barcelona's famous La Masia academy, and first entered the Catalan's ranks when he was just eight years old. But, after failing to break into the first team, Traore was sold to Aston Villa for £9million ahead of the 2015-2016 season.
Two years later, he moved on to Middlesbrough, where he would make 71 appearances for the club, scoring just five goals. After showing signs of something special in the northeast, Santo decided to sign Traore for £18m in 2018. He arrived at Wolves onward of their first season back in the Premier League.
He spent most of his first season coming off the bench as an influential player for Wolves. But, this season he's been a firm favourite of the Wolves boss. He was named in the starting XI on 22 occasions in the Premier League, out of a possible 29.

Premier League: Daniel James Says He Bargains 'More than Goals' After Ending Man United Drought
Winger of Manchester United Daniel James said he carries "more than goals" to the team after ending his scoring drought on Thursday. Premier League fans can book Manchester United Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
The Wales international was on the scorecard against LASK, helping United to secure a 5-0 win away from home in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie. Odion Ighalo, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira also netted.
Speaking after the game, James spoke to MUTV about his relief at breaking his goalless run but said he thinks there are other positive traits he brings to the side:
"Maybe I haven't slashed as many goals as I wanted to recently. I got off to a good start but recently it has not been at the standards that I have wanted to be. Thanks to all of the coaches, the manager for trusting in me, working with me every day. I had that chance in the first half and I was a bit gutted about it.”
“But it was just about going out there and if I got the chance, they said to drive and have shots. That's what I ensured and gratefully it went in. You can slash in every match, you can recover and look back on what you can do more. As a player, I give a lot more than goals, I try to create them and work hard for the team, but was about getting off the mark and now I can capitalise to get more now."
The winger made a huge impact at United earlier in the campaign, netting on his debut against Chelsea as a substitute and establishing himself in the side thereafter. Premier League fans can book Manchester United Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
James continued his strong start to life in the Premier League with goals against Crystal Palace and Southampton before the end of August, but he's since found it more difficult to take opportunities. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope Thursday's effort can restore the Welshman's confidence when he does get into dangerous positions.

Premier League: Harry Kane wants a transfer to Manchester United
The clubs of Premier League are planning their squad for the future. Manchester United was loving an excellent victorious run of games. The hierarchy of the united board is planning to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with proper signings. Premier League fans can book Premier League Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Manchester United business boss Ed Woodward is all set to match it out with Daniel Levy to land Harry Kane at Old Trafford as soon as the transfer window reopens according to various media outlets. The prolific England striker is currently suffering from a long term injury in his hamstring.
His season was already over even before the uncertain stopping of football events across the country. However, Kane struggled throughout this season, first with Mauricio Pochetino, and afterwards with Jose Mourinho. Both tactical masterminds failed to bring out the very best of the England captain.
Tottenham struggled throughout this season. Premier League fans can book Tottenham Hotspur Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
And due to this poor form of a run, every rumour mill is convinced that Kane might leave the Mourinho side in the upcoming window and Manchester United will be next destination. The England striker prefers the Red Devils over their noisy neighbours according to reports.
The red devils signed Odion Ighalo on loan as an emergency striker in the last stages of the winter transfer window but the united squad needs a striker with world-class attributes and at this moment very few strikers are ahead of Harry Kane. The England skipper will feel much at a familiar place with the united squad as a lot of international teammates will meet him there too.
Manchester City on the hand has a striker like Sergio Aguero and it is quite rational of Kane not to select a team that already contains his counterpart in the scoring charts. Although, Kane fought in front of goal this period. With the change in management.
The arrival of Jose Mourinho made people thought that the Portuguese will weave his magic on Harry Kane as well but this time injuries have taken its toll on the England striker. Premier League fans can book Manchester United Tickets on our website on exclusively discounted prices.
Manchester United are already planning to land Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish as a part of their overhaul, which will ensure some quality crosses and passes to Kane and their chemistry can make United great again.
However, Daniel Levy has not been a man of good business with United in recent times. Woodward failed to land Toby Alderweirald as Levy blocked the move and this time also the move would not be easy at all.

UEFA to issue Champions League and Europa League request in a head meeting
UEFA plans to inform its members that they want the Champions League and Europa League finals to be completed by the end of August. UEFA will announce to its members today that they want the Champions League and Europa League finals to be settled by the end of August. On Wednesday, the governing body of European football will organize a video conference with the 55 member associations, to try to determine how its two main competitions will be organized this season.

Even though most of Europe is blocked by corona virus, UEFA is determined to finish both competitions this season and will resist calls for their removal. They are determined that the Champions League - which still has matches to play in the round of 16, and the Europa League, still at the same stage - to be completed.
Originally, UEFA wanted its season to end on June 30, but earlier this month postponed it. The decision will mean a truncated 2020-21 season, which was inevitable anyway, but Uefa will offer several options to make the schedule more flexible, such as the possible removal of two of the first preliminary rounds of the Europa League, cutting the winter breaks in the leagues that currently have them, and a reduction in the number of group matches in the next Champions League terms.
There are options for the quarterfinal stages of each competition to be played on one leg, the location being decided on the draw. And for the semi-finals and finals, it is proposed that each be played in a four-team tournament over four days at the current venues in Istanbul and Gdansk, with the semi-finals and finals on one leg. The Champions League final was originally scheduled to take place at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Turkey on May 30. While the Europa League final was to be held on May 27 at the Stadion Energa Gdansk in Poland.
Liverpool, the defending champion of the Champions League, was eliminated from the competition in the final phase before the end of the coronavirus epidemic. The game was controversial despite the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic. Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti recently revealed that Jurgen Klopp believed the match should not have taken place.
"I spoke with Klopp a few days ago, he told me that the decision to play Liverpool-Atletico was a criminal act and I think he's right," Ancelotti said.
