River Rafting in Kullu Manali guidelines: Book Best Price & Packages 2024 with Arctic Adventure
Arctic Adventure provides river rafting trips around Kullu Manali. Your Safety and Enjoyment are our priority. We have almost 10 years of commercial experience and a stellar track record. Only the rivers we raft on present the kinds of situations for which our guides are qualified and experienced. You may relax knowing that you have located a reliable rafting company.
If you've never experienced the excitement and spills of a river before but think rafting would be fun, try these easy white water rafting guidelines to make your first trip enjoyable. We've gathered some important advice on what to pack, dress, and anticipate on your next rafting trip from our knowledgeable river experts and guides on the Beas River.
Put on appropriate clothing
Even if you plan to spend the entire journey in the boat, you might not keep dry. Wear clothing that will act as a barrier between you and the raft and be waterproof and anti-chafing if you plan on getting wet on your trip.
Steer clear of cotton, which absorbs heat from the body and takes a long time to dry. Instead, because they dry quickly, synthetic textiles are excellent.
Wear your helmet
On all of our rafting trips, your safety is our top priority, thus you must always wear safety gear, including helmets. We want to avoid having you fall into one of the many underwater rocks, logs, or branches that are hidden from view when you're sitting in the boat and banging your head on them. Reduce your chance of harm by always wearing your helmet.
Keep your valuables safe
The basic principle of thumb for boating trips is that you carry nothing that you would rather not get lost or wet. Leave your gems, including rings, neckbands, studs, and wristbands at home.
Understand the procedure if someone else falls out of the raft
Our aides are prepared to guarantee a protected ride and will assist any clients who with winding up in the water startlingly. You can rely on our guides, but if you see someone fall from the raft, it's worth knowing how to help. The following are two or three things you can do. Assuming the individual has figured out how to clutch the external well-being line, maneuver them into the pontoon by clutching the shoulder lashes and raising them in. On the off chance that the individual has not arrived at the external wellbeing line: Give them an oar to hold to and carry them nearer to the pontoon Toss them the toss sack and pull them back to the pontoon.

Lapis Manalis and Reaper Lore
In the mountains to the east of Garlemald, inside the cavern of Lapis Manalis, there is an abandoned village where Garleans once practiced the Reaper arts.
The Reapers were skilled warriors who carried out missions for the senate and played an invaluable role in the Garlean military. However, they fell out of favor as Emperor Solus devoted more resources to magitek. When some rose as insurrectionists, the order was outlawed.
The Galateae, masterfully crafted dolls, were crucial in the Reaper's training. Only those who have successfully forged a pact with an avatar may spar with the Galatea Parva, and the Galatea Magna is reserved for those who can serve as a host to their avatar.
The Dollmaster's Memorandum reveals that the art of making Galateae has been lost, making repairs difficult and reproduction impossible. The knowledge was kept secret and passed down to those who would inherit the position of master dollmaker.
Trivia:
In the Latin language, a "lapis manalis" referred to two sacred stones used in the Roman religion. One of these stones covered the gate to the realm of the Underworld, preventing the souls of the dead, or the "Manes," from wandering the Earth. A ceremony was held three times a year to remove the stone and allow the dead to communicate with the living. The other stone was used to make rain and may not have a direct relationship with the Manes. It is instead derived from the verb "manare”, meaning "to flow" and it is known as the "stone that throws water." The first stone could be related to how reapers are able to communicate with otherworldly souls, their voidsent avatar. The second stone could be related to the abundant Ceruleum spring that flows inside the cavern and blends well with Cagnazzo being the archfiend of water.

Currently reading: The Story of a Goat, by Perumal Murugan (first approach to Tamil literature, I'm quite liking it.
Last movie: The latest Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan. I quite quite liked it, finally a Porthos that's not a caricature!
Last show: ... Supernatural... (My mom is living her SuperWhoLock phase and I'm an unwilling victim, I'm there for Castiel.)
Craving: Ice cream. Lots of ice cream. But I overdid it with lactose the last days, so it's a forbidden craving for now T_T
What are you wearing right now: Green leggings, rainbow socks, a blue shirt and an oversize dark blue sweater.
How tall are you: Around 166cm? I can't do imperial measurements, sorry!
Piercings: Three in my ears, but I never wear earrings so most people think I don't have any, LOL.

Last drink: Tap water.
Last thing you ate: A plain tortilla because again, lactose intolerance brings for very, very sad snacks. :(
Favorite color: Purple! The dark Perywinkle that's the background of the picture on my pinned post. Also the deep emerald green in my profile picture. Any phthalo colour. ... I love jewel colours and hate pastels.
Current obsession: As if anyone hasn't noticed. I'll go for something non-fandom and non-Dragon Age, but food. covid medication fucked me up with intolerances, so I'm cooking a lot of indian vegan food following the recipes of a blog (thank you ms Manali!). I'm obsessed with Baingan Bharta served on top of some Jeera Pulao.
Any pets: Sadly none, at the moment. :(
Favorite fictional character: Only one? Oh damn.
Zuko from ATLA. Boromir from LOTR (and Sam of course). Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing. SIR GAWAIN. Javert and Enjolras from Les Mis (musical. I'll read the book, eventually). Margarita from Master and Margarita.
