Ön Eleme aşamasını başarıyla geçen temsilcimiz için yol biraz daha uzadı ve şimdi gerçek turnuva içinde de yine iyi işler bekliyoruz. Bakken'in buralardaki tecrübesi daha fazla. Danimarka deplasmanındaki zorlu akşamda yürek dolusu başarılar dileriz ekibimize.

*İlk çeyreği temsilcimiz 21-20 üstün kapattı. Dengede başladı maç. Ardından Danimarka ekibi 16-11'le en büyük farkını yaptı. O noktadan sonra Manisa 10-4'lük güzel bir sekans çıkararak döndü.

*İlk devre 43-42 ile lehimize sonuçlandı. Kontrolü sağladık ve hep üstün oynadık bu bölümü. Şu an için bu görüntü iyi.

*Üçüncü periyotta 62-60 ile avantaj bizim oldu. Danimarka ekibi bu bölümde öne geçme anlarını yakaladı. İki taraf da sıkıca tutuyor.

*Manisa 82-76 kazandı ve gruba galibiyetle başladı. Son bölümde ayakta şahane kaldık ve kıymetli bir başlangıca imza attık. Helal hepinize. Teşekkür ederiz. Bakken Bears'ta Malik Parsons 21, Michel Diouf 17 sayı attı. Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor'da ise Emanuel Terry 21 sayı - 12 ribaund ile ikili çifte yaptı. Daron Russell ve James Anderson 14'er sayı sağladı.

Educating Ourselves – Commit to Reading Black (Muslim) Literature & Experience

The murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis following the deaths of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery (three names in a long line line of people who have been wrongfully killed or subjected to police (or other) brutality) has brought the lived realities of African Americans and racism to an important critical mass.

A lot of us who are nonBlack and admittedly live within our own privilege of not recognizing what our own biases may be and all we just do not know are working to learn and understand better. Asking Black people (who we may know or reach out to) to educate us, as many have pointed out, only adds to their emotional and mental trauma and exhaustion.

Many nonBlack Muslims are getting more on board with the #BlackLivesMatter movement, but Black Muslim youth still feel that too many don't "get it" and behave in ways that disrespect and discriminate against black Muslims.

As iterated in this Bklyner article, protest organizer Esraa Elzin says, "I get it, you're not racist. But how do we get you to hate racism the way Black people hate racism? ... We've moved on from the idea that solidarity is someone who has Black Lives Matter in their bio, to what are you doing, where are you donating ... and more importantly, what are the discussions you're having in your home?"

One of the ways we can move beyond posting and performative acts to a deeper base of learning and understanding is to invest in self-education about Black history, literature and experience. Bonjour Monsieur Mbacke,

Vous m'avez fait l'honneur de me recevoir mardi dernier alors que nous n'avions pas rendez-vous, je vous en remercie infiniment.

J'ai séjourné à l'automne 2018 au Sénégal, à Toubacouta, magnifique région du delta. Au cours de ce séjour, j'ai eu l'occasion de mener quelques petites actions utiles à la population locale et cela a débouché sur la création d'un réseau de correspondants avec qui je suis régulièrement en contact via WhatsApp. L'un d'eux, instituteur à Toubacouta, passera quelques jours chez moi cette année. pour assister à la rentrée des classes avec une de mes filles enseignantes également.

Avec ce réseau, nous avons créé DELTANEWS, un journal participatif qu'il est possible d'alimenter chacun librement via ses propres comptes Twitter et Instagram en exploitant des hastags bien précis. Cette plateforme est appelée à s'élargir en fonction des besoins, son objectif est de permettre à tous les citoyens connectés du delta de partager l'actualité de leurs villages, de promouvoir leurs activités, passer des annonces, etc. Tout est gratuit. Parallèlement à cela, le touriste européen pourra trouver des infos utiles pour son séjour dans le Saloum.

Il m'a été demandé d'approcher des structures associatives franco-sénégalaises à Bordeaux pour leur proposer de participer à cette belle aventure Deltanews, pour parler de leurs activités ici en France, de leur quotidien, donner des conseils pour les candidats au voyage, etc. Personnellement, je suis prêt à créer une extension au journal pour cela.

Par la présente, permettez-moi de solliciter votre aide pour me permettre de rencontrer quelques présidents d'associations enregistrées au Consulat afin de leur exposer mon idée et de la faire évoluer en fonction de leurs avis et besoins.

Au Sénégal, mon principal interlocuteur est Monsieur Mahecor DIOUF Directeur du Centre d'Interprétation de Toubacouta, gestionnaire du Delta. Je travaille également avec une petite agence de voyage de Kaolack en la personne de Monsieur Malik DIOP particulièrement dévoué et actif dans la promotion de son pays. En france, je suis en relation avec une journaliste Franco-Sénégalaise, Mme Maguette GUEYE qui m'accompagnera certainement dans certaines démarches.

Je me permets de vous fournir quelques informations techniques en bas de page ainsi que mes coordonnées. Comme convenu, j'adresserai un courrier par voie postale à Monsieur le Consul pour lui résumer en quelques mots ma démarche auprès de vous.

Bail – Kontrolleret styrt af mindre alvorlighed end et crash.

Banlieue 13 – Originaltitlen på en spillefilm også kendt som District B13. Filmen er meget berømt for sin åbningsscene, og har bl.a. David Belle og Cyril Raffaelli i hovedrollerne. Filmen er genindspillet på engelsk med bl.a. Paul Walker under titlen Brick Mansion.

Bøf – Vabel eller hård hud i hænderne.

Cat – Kort for cat leap (move).

Cork – Kort for corkscrew, et tricking move med afsæt fra et ben og halvanden vandret skrue.

Crane – En landing der typisk bruges når man forsøger at lave precision. Der landes med en fod på det ønskede sted, mens det andet ben er ned langs forhindringen og støtter.

Crash – Et ukontrolleret styrt.

David Belle – Anses for at være grundlæggeren af parkour.

Demitour – Fransk for turn vault.

District B13 – Se Banlieue 13.

Flip – Saltomortale.

Gap – Mellemrum mellem to objekter f.eks. to mure.

George Hébert – Grundlæggeren af Hëbertismen, filosofien hvorfra David Belle udviklede parkour.

Hébertisme – Fitnesstilgang udviklet af George Hebert. Hans træningsfilosofi var inspireret af både hans eget aktive liv som bl.a. gymnast og militærbrandmand, samt flere oplevelser i søværnet. Filosofiens motto var ”Vær stærk for at være nyttig” (Ëtre fort pour ëtre utile).

J-step – Tilløb eller setup typsik til corkscrew eller reverse gainer. Tilløbet er J-formet hvor man vender 180 grader inden afsættet, lidt i stil med tilløbet til højdespring.

JiYo – Navnet på performancegruppen Team JiYo. JiYo er sammensat af ordene Ji (selv) og Yo (at bruge).

Kong – Kort for king kong vault.

L’art Du Deplacement – Fransk for bevægelsens kunst.

Laché – Fransk for at give slip. Også navnet på et move (også kaldet swing).

Parcours du combattant – Militær forhindringsbane eller forhindringskursus.

Passe du barriére – Same as passement. En vault.

Passe Muraille – Wall run.

Passement – Vault.

Pres – Kort for precision.

Quilibre – Balance

Rail – Gelænder eller lignende rør.

Raymond Belle – David Belles far.

Reverse – Kort for reverse vault.

Roulade – Parkour roll/rullefald.

Saut de precision – Precision jump.

Saut Du Bras – Cat leap.

Saut Du Chat – Monkey, kong eller kash vault.

Saut Du Fond – Drop

Setup – Tilløb.

Spot – En lokation at træne på.

Streetmovement – Navnet på den professionelle parkourvirksomhed Streetmovement

Suk fod – Når ankelleddet bøjes til en grad hvor det er smertefuldt på oversiden af foden, f.eks. i forbindelse med precisions med stor hastighed.

Traceuse – Kvindelig parkourudøver

Tracuer – Parkourudøver

Tricking – En akrobatisk disciplin der blander elementer fra gymnastik og kampsport. Se mere i afsnittet Hvad er tricking? under Hvad er parkour?

Twist – En skrue f.eks. full twist eller double (full) twist.

Urban Tricking – Et andet navn for freerunning.

Vault – Passage af en forhindring med brug af armene.

Yamakasi – 1) en spillefilm af samme navn. 2) Den oprindelige lille gruppe af parkourudøvere fra Lisses, Frankrig. Gruppen bestod af: David Belle, Sébastien Foucan, Laurent Piemontesi, Yann Hnautra, Charles Perriére, Malik Diouf, Guylain N’Guba-Boyeke, Châu Belle-Dinh (fætter) og Williams Belle (fætter).
