It will be unfair to just look at this song from the lenses of Ram and Leela

There are multiple dimensions of this song going by the movie and real life

So let us ask ourselves, how is this Laal Ishq?

This is red meaning passionate, intense, willing to give life for the pursuit of love

It is remorseful - it's highs and lows are steep, it makes you really sad sometimes just how Khatana Bhai would say

Pain, Dukh (Sadness), Dard (Pain), Aansu (Tears)

And because it is away from right and wrong, it is a fault

and animosity is also a kind of love, to imagine oneself with that other person in various situation - you haven't forgotten them, you are still in love!

away from leela, ram says something really profound

"dekh raha tha ki khoon ka rang toh laal hai ki saala ye bhi badal gaya"

ram has realised for the first time that the animosity between two communities is bigger than his pursuit of love

here the word 'kaam' (work) is very interesting. Have you heard the idiom - one for the kitchen, one for the soul?

So work is something you do to survive and get acceptance from the world

currently where ram is, his work is to be enemy to the other community

Now he wants to make love is work and because he feels the animosity is so old, it will take the effort of a day job to eradicate it

Now when you hear these lines again for the third time, look at this from the perspective of Society/World

These guys (lovers) fell in the trap of sexual attraction and broke the rules of society

The red signifies anger of society upon looking at lovers breaking rules

There is sadness that they might have to exclude or kill their beloved Ram and leela

And for them it is a flaw which is propelling them to fight all

and what is this love in the name of which you have become enemy to all of us

how contextual and well written are these lyrics that says it all for everyone

Initially there love was all fooling around and fun but eventually Ram get's tired of fighting everyone. Try to feel that in next lines

The day is red in sun but during night, it's dark in the moon.

every fight stops during the night whether it is as big as Ramayan or Mahabharata

There is alot of peace in nights and Ram just wants that this peace remains, the night remains!

And to show his desperation, he wants to do something as outrageous as holding the moon!

There is an angst, there is tiredness in Ram for sure but there is a strong will which he is expressing in these words

Actually if you look at it, both fulfilled their roles as enemies by killing each other

This is like his last bye to Leela.

Writer Sarita has written this web series to create awareness regarding the new method of cybercrime and blackmailing after many cases of obscene video calling have surfaced across the country in recent years.

Efforts have been made to keep the film close to reality even while taking cinematic liberties.

This web series shows that how simple and innocent people are blackmailed by using just a video call as a medium.

The web series "Being Trapped" is produced by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Laxman Bodapatal, co-produced by Jannat Zubaida. DOP Abhishek Rai, Makeup & Hairstylist Anjali Yadav, Casting Director Mukim Syed, Rehaan, Editor DK, Karan and the production is handled by SRV team.

The series stars Parmanand Mishra, Nandini Kashyap and Inderjeet Singh in lead roles. Actor Sachin Yadav has played the role of Victim.

It is good to know that as a lyricist Sarita 's song" Zindagi" has been sung by famous singer "Stebin Ben" and released by T-Series.

Apart from this, a book of her ghazals "Malaal" has also been published by Book River Publications.The book "Malaal" has been very much appreciated by the readers.

Sarita is also a regular member of Screen Writers Association Mumbai.
