spoilers for episode 8 of gundam witch from mercury

OKAY theres some really interesting things we saw in this episode.

first this screen alarmingly shows that despite the fact that Guel Jeturk was the previous reigning holder, Shaddiq Zenelli is considered even more favored than both he, Elan, and Suletta in a duel.

and from his conversation with Guel, it seems that Shaddiq refused to challenge him, instead allowing him to hold onto the title. the betting odds screen also shows names in different colors, which seem to correspond to the pilot's house. Guel and his half brother Lauda are both in magenta for Jeturk house, along with an as of yet unknown member named Ragnar (who is notably the only first year in the top 10!) we also see two unknown pilots of the same house, Olta and Jonas, who don't seem to be in any of the big three houses. and most notably, there are two other members in the top ten who are also members of Grassley house with Shaddiq; Sabina Fardin and Renee Costa. The official site gives us their appearances as well, which shows us they are two of the girls in Shaddiq's inner circle at the end of the episode. Sabina is the imposing purple haired girl, and Renee is the wild looking blonde haired girl.

The official site also names the meditative blue haired girl Henao Jazz, the tired brown haired girl Ireesha Plano, and the energetic green haired girl Maisie May. Given the rankings of Sabina and Renee, it seems likely that all five of them are skilled mobile suit pilots.

Grassley's CEO seems to think so as well, at least enough to send a brand new Benguir-Pentes for each of them - in addition to a Michaelis for Shaddiq. Looks like Suletta's next duel is going to be an interesting one!
